Dr. Luoko and her staff is amazing. The ladies at the front desk were extremely caring and patient and the tech was funny and amazing. I wish I got all their names, but I was in a state of panic, I just wanted to make sure my pup was okay. The tech kepts me posted every step of the way. The price was steep, but it was an emergency and they were able to care. I'm definitely coming back here again !

I have been taking our four dogs to TCAH for a couple of years now and we have never had a visit where we weren't greeted with a smile. The staff is very freindly and has always remembered our dogs. We brought our dog in for his annual shots. They let us come in the same day we called . No appointment really necessary. They also didn't charge us an additional fee for a vet to check him out since he was just coming in for shots. It was just the cost of the shots, which was very reasonable. Another vet wanted to charge us a $50 fee just to check our dog out and say he is okay... then an additional fee for shots. No thanks! We will for sure be back to Temple City Animal Hospital.

The office visits & care received by the veterinarians is EXCELLENT so I was very disappointed in my recent boarding experience! I HAD to board both my dogs the week of Dec. 21, 2014 ! I was told my dogs would be allowed to have a personal item (bed/blanket) to sleep with, my older dog 7 years old would be allowed to have her urine pads in the run etc etc. My older dog Coco's paws smelled of urine upon pick-up. We arrived prior to the scheduled pick up time to find Coco extremely disheveled, smelling of urine & eager to FLEE the scene & urinate outside the office. Her urine was very yellow & much more than usual. She had several accidents (urine) in the house throughout that day. My other dog is a rescue & she appeared not to have had a bad experience. I DO NOT recommend the boarding service!!!

I have been a customer of Temple City Animal Hospital since 1994 when I adopted my sweet Tequila from the animal shelter in Baldwin Park. They examined her for free since she was a rescue. I really appreciate the way the doctors and staff handle the beloved pets and their owners. After I married and moved 12 miles away, I did try out another vet in our neighborhood, but soon returned to Temple City for all of the needs for Daisy and Sugar.

We frequently need medical care for our three senior dogs and one cat. Because Dr. Carlson no longer works full time, we had the burden to find another vet hospital after several years with the Temple City Animal Hospital. In September 2014, before we were able to select the replacement, our cat became ill and stopped eating while Dr. Carlson was on his weeks off work. Out of desperation, we tried with Dr. Nguyen and we were surprised and were delighted with her excellent medical care. She was knowledgeable, professional and effective; similarly to Dr. Carlson. Her holding of our cat during the medical exam was as gentle and pampering as the cat fur. Our cat started to recover as soon as we left the hospital and he began eating a couple hours later, just like Dr. Nguyen had told us. Problem solved, we no longer need to find another vet hospital.

My husband and I completely trust the Temple City Animal Hospital because they TRULY care about our pets!! We own three cats and a dog, and everyone of them has been to this animal hospital, and it has gone very well each time. Dr Crittington (sp?) is outstanding! Not only does she act like your pet is as important to her as her own pet would be, she will call us when she is off duty just to make sure the pet having health issues is doing better. What a BLESSING! I am still devastated by the lousy treatment one of my cats got from another vet in the area. When the Vet. did the blood work, he made it sound like there was absolutely no hope for my cat Boots, and as a result, we had to put Boots to sleep! Now I truly believe had we brought Boots to Dr. Crittington (sp?) , she would still be alive today!! You can bet We will ALWAYS bring our pets to the Temple City Animal Sheltor, and we sure are glad they are here for us.<3

I've been taking my big dogs to TCAH for over 30 years. Some have required surgery, some have received only routine care. Over the years, vets have come and gone, but their professionalism and obvious commitment to my "best friends" has been consistent. The office staff has been equally caring. We've been welcomed and tended to by receptionists and handlers alike. As a physician who ran my own offices for 30+ years, the friendliness, competence, and warmth of these folks becomes the "aura" of the office, essential for calming a sick pet or patient alike. If anything, the TCAH is better now than it's been in past years. I'm lucky to have found it.

They take really good care of the animals here. Their parking lot is clean and the outside is well taken care of and the lobby is homely. I like the "cabin" look and feel. The staff is warm and inviting, which can be helpful when you're in a predicament that requires their care.

I have only brought my pup here once, so no glowing review (yet) We were able to get a same day appointment (grateful) We still waited a bit to be seen, BUT there was true emergencies that took presidence We appreciate a veterinary office that puts the animals health and comfort over meeting appointment times. Of course they follow schedules/appointments but this veterinary office has an obvious vibe that they enjoy being in the business of helping animals thrive. I was surprised and slightly impressed with the technicians. I don't recall the techs name that assisted us, but she was impressive. She was hands on with my pup, not intimidated (At All) with doing an in-room procedure in front of us. We even got to help out, which we liked. *Our last vet didn't do that The tech did a basic vitals and actually relayed the information she gathered to us. *Our last vet didn't do that. We will bring all of our animals here for their healthcare needs

Love these folks, the Dr.'s are superb and right on, the staff is caring and accommodating, love to spend the night partying with my pals at that resort (still can't figure out why they call it a hospital, because this place is more like a Spa). My pets (the two legged units I adopted and I'm trying to properly train on everything canine) also agree with me (they have had two previous canine masters), so I guess i'm not being youthfully enthusiastic. I have been taking my animals to TCAH for more than 25 years. I have been most pleased with the care my kitties receive, from the age of six weeks up to the day they cross the rainbow bridge. The staff greets you by name and your furry friend by name. My babies are usually treated by Dr. Crittenden. She makes you feel like your pet is as important to her as her own. I know that my kitties will always receive the best of care at TCHS. I would never trust my pets to be treated anywhere else.

My daughter's doggie was having a hard time breathing. TCAH was open late and took him in right away. The doctor assessed him, gave him a shot to help clear the fluid from his lungs, and by the following morning, he was breathing without any issue. The staff was so nice to us even though we kept them after closing time. We have found our new veterinarian!

I love the doctors here. They are really patient with my lab Brownie, who is a bit of a handful. The doctors here are respectful of my pet and conscientious of his needs. They understand when I explain to them that Brownie is scared of needles and don't act judgmental when he becomes unruly. I admit the wait, even with an appointment, is long (expect to wait at least half an hour to an hour) but generally the staff is friendly and there is always coffee and water and sometimes homemade chocolate chip cookies in the waiting room. But I put up with the wait because of the way the doctors treat Brownie. The patrons seem nice and their pets well-behaved! I haven't taken advantage of the extended hours because I only come on the weekends (I moved to Glendale but still come back here for Brownie) but they are awesome for people who work 9-5. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to my friends.

Was my trusted vet for years but had recently gone downhill to the point I won't be back. Unlike the old staff, Dr. Nguyen doesn't return my calls and defaults to treating symptoms instead of addressing the problem. I no longer trust them to the care of my pets.

Temple City Animal Hospital provides professional service with a heart. The staff is warm and friendly and always makes it a point to remember us AND our pups. The office is clean and comfortable and there are always "people" chocolate chip" cookes for the puppies parents - freshly bake by one of the doctors husbands. 2 years ago we lost our loving Manchester Terrier and the love and care given to us and to her was amazing. We all cried together as she passed. It made everything so much easier. Days later we received a sympathy card. Both my husband and I were touched. We now have 2 Doxies, and they are thriving under the guidance of TCAH. I am grateful to the doctors and each and every staff member.

Spent almost $1000 here for tests but they weren't able to diagnose the problem of my dog. They will hold your lab results and reports hostage in order to have you agree on and pay for more services they recommend. Unethical and NOT recommended. Will not return.

Hello, I want everyone to know that Temple city Animal Hospital treated my dog Zena with such great care a few days ago. Zena is not used to being driven much in a car or visiting a veterinarian hospital, and on the way there she got car sick. As soon as I arrived the hospital staff was extremely helpful and attentive to not just Zena but to helping me with her mess she left in my car. Zena was warmly welcomed and ushered in a waiting room where Alicia, one of the staffers, acquired all our information while managing to give Zena loving attention. All the Technicians were so friendly and they all kept us content until Dr. Neil Bodie was able to meet with us. We were very impressed with his knowledge and very helpful information. Zena warmed right up to Dr. Neil Bodie due to his obvious enjoyment of wanting to help her. Thank you all so much....We'll be back....Hopefully just to visit!!

It was my very first time at an animal hospital and I was blown away of how professional and caring the staff was. Melanie the vet. assistant was welcoming, talked to my pet rabbit "waffles", took his vitals and listened to my concerns. She was warm and caring. I kept thinking, I don't think I was treated that way at my own doctors appointment. Then Dr. Wang came and examined Waffles. She was able to talk me and exam his teeth at the same time! Putting a scope in a rabbits mouth is not easy. I was glad she checked his teeth and ears for me. I read those were things that can be problematic for rabbits. I would highly recommend this animal hospital. They were thorough in their examination and kind to the animals. Oh and also, a dog went number two in the waiting room and the staff came to pick it up with such a big smile.. And said "no problem"! Five stars to this place!

I will not ever take my dog back to that place ever again I took my 5year old dog Maltese to get his ears looked at and he has a rash all over his body the vet.if that is what you want to call her came in the room and asked the same question that the nurse and the person at the front desk asked me what does he eat does he have flies and how old is he and I also put the same information on the form that the front desk gives you when you first walk in after repeating myself 5times she looked at my dog and asked if I could hold the dogs head then she took a stick and pulled up my dogs hair in one area and said that she think that I should change my dogs food that pedigree was like giving my dog candy and said to go buy this shampoo that cost $100 shampoo 4time once a week leave the shampoo on for 30 min and maybe that would help and she walked out never looked at the ears so I did the same thing I just walked out why would I pay for some one to not even give my dog an exam she never touched my dog bad place to go they do not care they just want the money

I don't live in the area anymore and am are quite a distance away. Normally I take my pets to a VCA location by my house for general things like shots, but when it's more serious I rather make the long drive to get him checked here. The staff is courteous and always helpful. The vet is very understanding and helps us to better understand the situation and what our options are. Also the prices are reasonable and affordable. I also like that the isn't a long wait unlike at VCA locations, where even with an appointment, I have to wait to check in, weigh in then wait again until we are called. It's not like that here, and I like that they are accommodating in their hours too. I would highly recommend this location.
