I have found this veterinarian practice to be compassionate and professional. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Wiest is kind and gentle with my 5 cats. I had to leave my former vet due to the office hours not compatible to my working schedule. Dr. Wiest is available most days of the week and I can take or pick up my pets during my lunch hour. Much more convenient for me. Dr. Weist takes the time to talk with the clients and to explain, in detail, the medical procedures and diagnosis. I really appreciate that. They always follow up the next day with a phone call to check on the little patients.

You can tell everyone who works at Paso Vet Clinic truly loves animals and cares for their comfort and well being. Misdiagnosed TWO of my cats - could have been fatal. Was very rough with my baby 10 year old who has never freaked out until he picked her up and yelled at me not to touch my own cat. One of my cats was diagnosed with urinary problems and given a urinary diet when, after going to my awesome new Vet, was properly diagnosed and treated for Pancreatitis, a very painful disease. My other baby was diagnosed with asthma by the x-ray they took. I bought an Aerokat chamber, the albuterol and after seeing my NEW Vet and she saw the x-ray, told me the x-ray is not consistent with asthma, and that my baby had a bad case of bronchitis. Within a week of meds from my new Vet, my baby was totally fine. Was very disappointed at the lack of care at this Vet, the lack of knowledge to properly diagnose TWO of my cats, and that my cat was afraid of this guy. Thank the gods I found a great Vet (6th Street Vet/Paso)

I have such confidence in this veterinary group. The staff really works together and provides outstanding care. I had to visit recently because my dog was bit by a rattlesnake. They treated him immediately, gave excellent follow up care, informed me every step of the way, SAVED HIS LIFE, and all was done with concern and fairness.
