The best, most caring doctors and staff! They provide a "drop off" service, where if they are too busy for a same day appointment (They are usually booked a week out) you can leave your pet and they will see them between other patients, lunch time, or breaks. If it is not an emergency, this is an invaluable service!! Plus, there is no extra charge! WIN WIN!

Almost killed my cat in April 2018. Gave 2 shots to her, 1 with steroids, without doing a blood test first. Prior blood test greater than 1yr old. Clear negligence and laziness by the female asian doctor. Just wanted to do an "in-and-out" treatment..here take this shot! Cat was pre-diabetic and steroid shot caused crash, spent $7K to save cat over 6 day ICU (not at PP). Pasadena Pets gave 1 followup call from their "lead Dr." (older man) when I asked for their insurance provider - which they never provided. I would steer clear of this place. The waiting room will tell you everything you need to know: full of people, phones ringing every few minutes, and a "fast-food" approach to pet care. Guarantee your visit doesn't go over 15 minutes, maybe 5 minutes with the actual Doc. That's all they have time for. If you need it quick and cheap, I suppose this is OK, although it is not cheap. If I had more time on my hands and energy I would pursue reimbursement via legal means from this business and 1 doctor in particular. I have documentation to prove all this as well (no blood test, cat blood glucose levels pre-shot, etc.). BE CAREFUL HERE! TAKE YOUR TIME! ASK QUESTIONS! "What is that shot you are giving?" "What are the possible reactions?" Sadly you will need to take the initiative here. They will not help you. Also, be ready for them to take the animal in the back for everything, including weighing which is entirely unnecessary.

I have been going to Pasadena pets vet hospital for years. I think the facilities are well kept. The doctors are all very knowledgeable and friendly and offer you different options for treatment rather than trying to push something on you. They also go over cost with you ahead of time so you know exactly what you're getting into. The only criticism really is that they are often overbooked. I think the practice needs to expand and bring them more doctors. Overall highly recommended.

No hard sell here. Very good consultation by the doctor on my first PHONE CALL and after the exam and advice that didn't cost $$$$ when it could have. Doctor heard the problem and gave me detailes on how the visit would progress, what test will be conducted to verify problem and what the expected cost will be. All other vets I spoke with gave a very general speach on the phone that amounted to, "it could be anything, bring the dog in and we will sell you an exam and then leverage fear and sentiment and rip you off with anything else we can throw in." I drove 20 min out of my way to get here and it was well worth it. Waiting room and exam room are very big and clean and smell great. They use reusable laminated intake forms to scan your info and save paper. They are right off the 210 fwy. Staff is great.

Originally 5 stars. Staff and vets seem to genuinely love animals and friendly to humans. The vets were oatient and would take their time to explain things to you in layman's term. Took down 1 star, because I'm a little peeved that they try to charge every little thing yesterday (1 fluid bag $34 and asking the vet 1 question ~$50), which I understand. Still... cut us a little slack, especially since we just visited and paid over $900 the day before for the same illness that wasn't resolved... and would end up paying another $4,000+ later. :(

I was having trouble scheduling my dog to get neutered when a friend recommended this vet. They were able to fit me in the schedule quickly and walked me through the whole process. The doctor also followed up a few days later to see how things were going.

I started seeing Dr Avezov several years ago and it became clear very quickly that he was the best vet around. I have two beagles and I credit their health to Dr Avezov. All it takes is one visit to realize that being a vet and helping animals is more than just a job to Dr Avezov. He answers all your questions and makes it known that he is always available to help. He's very friendly and welcoming and easy to talk to. I've dealt with other vets who make you feel like you are taking up too much of their time, but Dr Avezov always stays until you are completely at peace and everything has been dealt with. Whenever my dogs start acting strange, Dr Avezov comes up with a plan. He is not the kind of vet who throws out a big net and takes a bunch of tests and sees what comes back. After meeting with me and looking over my dogs, he comes up with a very focused plan and he clearly explains the objectives to me. He's looking to solve the problem, not run tests. I never felt like he was trying to waste my time or money. Whenever he suggests something, I have full confidence that it is the right thing to do for my dog. For example, one of my dogs has a seizure disorder and when I got him, it was uncontrolled. His previous owners had tried diets, medicines, holistic specialists-- everything you can imagine, but nobody could get his seizures under control. Dr Avezov did. He knew exactly which tests to run and what to focus on and now Buddy has been seizure free ever since. Dr Avezov is great and beagles love him!

The staff accommodated a last minute appointment because I was so worried about my boy spending another day in pain....Dr. Stan is great! Gave me options as to a course of treatment....immediate and then long term (for a back issue that caused Ozzie extreme pain). I was so relieved after consulting with him. I would recommend Pasadena Pets to anyone!! Prices are very competitive fyi.

My 1 yo dog saw Dr. Fan for the first time to get Bordatella vaccine. She was super nice, answered all my questions, and was a pleasure to interact with. Plus, as it turns out, my pup got a free check-up, since i rescued him from the animal shelter! Friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors, clean building, convenient location, affordable pricing.

We no longer reside in Pasadena but we still make the trip out for non-emergencies. They get really busy due to their popularity so it's difficult to speak to someone on the phone but you can leave a voicemail. We've been a client for over 5 years+.

Good hospital but have nothing to compare to. First visit with my newly adopted dog was free. Even though you make an appointment, you'll still have to wait a bit since the doctors are busy doing their checkups and stuff. Staff is all very friendly.

Pasadena pets is an amazing vet clinic! I went to a chain clinic before coming here. The other one was less organized and informative. The vets here at Pasadena Pets really take the time to explain all the different options you have in your pet care. Since our pets can't tell us what's wrong with them, there are different options we can try out to see what works best for them. The vets go through all the options and prices and also the side effects. I brought my boy in for bloody diarrhea and I was given options to change his diet to a hydrolyzed protein, get a stool sample, go to a specialist, put him on a different medication, etc. They also have a free shelter pet examination for newly adopted animals. I highly recommend Pasadena pets!

I've been to a lot of veterinarians with a lot of pets, but this place is by far the best. From scheduling appointments to talking with the doctors about treatment, I always feel put at ease and confident that my pets are being taken care of. The front desk staff are very helpful, the vet techs are very knowledgable and good at explaining things, and every veterinarian we've seen there has been great. The lobby is clean and astoundingly un-chaotic for being so full of different animals. (I used to work at a dog daycare, so I'm always amazed by this aspect.) I like that they take appointments and walk-ins both, and are often able to give me preliminary advice over the phone. They're serious about the health of our pets, but never pushy or judgmental about financial limits. We take everyone from our pit bull to our kitten there, and I always recommend this place to friends.

Dr Michelle you are best veterinarian I have seen in my life. You made the hardest decision, I have ever had to make in my life so much easier. I will continue to use Dr Michelle and Pasadena Pets for All of my veterinary services from now own. Lastly, the office manager was able to work me in even though they were booked.
