Not that good a vet. Used to be great and fair priced. Now just fair priced for SF. Quality of service has dropped. Bishop Ranch Veterinary in San Ramon is way better for about the same price, if you dont mind the drive.

This place is the best! They are extremely accommodating, the staff is wonderful- everyone I've met there seems extremely compassionate as if my baby was theirs. Means a lot. They don't try to sell you unneeded tests, etc. My baby has to be on prescription food due to urinary problems- one day I decided to to buy it online from petmeds or something similar- the online store contacted the vet to confirm prescription, and Park Vet denied it. The vet called me IMMEDIATELY to alert me that this online company is notorious for repackaging unhealthy food as prescription food!!!!! I had no idea and was sooooo grateful!!! Did some research after the fact and found some horror stories about this online company. Everyone there seems to go above and beyond- LOVE Park Animal Hospital- My baby has seen Dr. Hoppe, Arrick and Owens (they are all great)

Fair prices, excellent service, and I have never felt that they were ordering unnecessary/costly tests. If pricing/money is an issue, they seem very open to discuss options/strategies.

My doctor is Jessica Holliday and she is compassionate and skilled. I really love the staff here which is quite friendly and thoughtful. A bonus is that I can walk my pup nearby in gg park before and after appointments.

Yesterday my dog was sick from diarrhea, I bring my dog to this hospital (sunset branch) I didn't make appointment but I told the reception I can wait, she gave a a long face said they don't accept without appointment. I though this hospital should give patience a chance to wait, not by book. Doctor see patience because patience (dogs, cats) ill, nobody will bring their pets to a hospital if their pets are healthy. If Doctor only work for money, they should let me wait, they can make money on this case, If they work by heart, they care about animals, they will let me wait too. See a patience (dogs, cats) won't cause more than half an hour. I feel sorry for this hospital especially the front desk staff.

The staff is experienced, friendly, and professional. I've been coming here for over 20 years and with four different cats. From the easy things, like trimming claws, to the routine, like checkups and vaccinations, Park Animal Hospital has never left us down. And when one of our cats had a terminal illness, they helped her to reach her 20th birthday despite the odds. Finally, when I had to make the decision to not allow my elderly cat to suffer after she could no longer walk, the staff at the hospital was compassionate and supportive in a way that I will never forget. They are truly the best of the best.

Great vet service. I've been taking my dog there for many years, and never feel like they are trying to sell me procedures or products that my pup doesn't need many other places (including the SPCA). Highly recommend it!
