Experienced and friendly staff. We've had two serious pet emergencies over the past five years and have been to this facility on an emergency basis. The specialist veterinarians are the top notch you would want for emergencies. They are calm and have the ability to communicate well the reality of the situation and provide solution without causing additional anxiety related to your pets health. However, this facility is likely the most expensive vet option available, because your pet is in the hands of specialist. The vet technicians are patient and soft handling with injured pets. Our super shy dog, who needed long term care at this facility, always looked for one particular vet tech who always tried to get through her shyness. Our family is grateful for their care of our pets, when we needed their specialties.

My Sheltie, Baron, was diagnosed with TCC - Bladder Cancer. Dr FitzPatrick and the whole staff was kind and compassionate. Baron bravely fought for 6 months with their help. I highly recommend them for emergencies and cancer care.

If you have a pet emergency this is absolutely the best place to bring them. They have many Dr's and specialists ready at all times 24/7 including holidays. If for some reason they can't help, they know someone who can. The people who work here are the best. They are very efficient and helpful.

I’ve been here since 6:30pm and it is currently 10:30pm at night, our dog suffered from a dog bite injury and we were given a 2,000$ estimate for a POSSIBLE surgery. Every statement given to us was, “it could be this” or “could be something else” a surgery that is unnecessary when all I wanted and what my dog needs is just simple stitches. We denied the 2,000$ charge of course and just asked for our dog to be wrapped up so we could take her else where, where they would care more about our dog than the money invested. The price for gauze and antibiotics was 350$ and when reading the estimate it was 87$ for gauze... yes, GAUZE. A gauze roll costs less than 15$. Of course this just made the whole experience ten times worse. After signing the documents to confirm the 350$ care they said they were going to take a while to get to her since other patients came in..overall really disappointing and tiring day. I know for a fact the vet we are taking her to tomorrow will not scam us for money and actually help my dog. PLEASE consider another place.

We had the hardest time having to say goodbye to our wonderful dog Skipper. The staff was so patient and understanding and allowed us to stay with him as long as we wanted until we had to call them in to help us make sure he was no longer hurting. He lived a long 14 years and was one hell of a German Shepherd. Our hearts break but so thankful for CVS for helping us through it..

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW! I brought my dog in for pain he was having. This place has no integrity and they're stealing money from pet owners but mostly old retired folks. My dog definitely needed surgery just not from CVS. I found a specialty hospital in IRVINE who was $5,000 cheaper. Why is any care cheaper in Orange County than in Riverside or San Diego Counties? Since this place is really the only specialty hospital in town, they're taking advantage of pet owners' emotions and pocket book. They told me if my dog wasn't admitted overnight, he wouldn't be able to get seen by a specialist next day. Ummm, yea, no. So in order for my dog to receive care he was desperately in need of, I'd have to pay them $1200 for an over night stay? They then counter offered to just the exam and meds he received. I explained to them how rediculous this was. I was then told to call in the next day to see if they could fit him in. I called and they were able to get him in. That's the only reason why I gave two stars instead of one. Always ask for options and speak up. By the way, I only paid just a little over $200 for an overnight stay per day in IRVINE and didn't get charged for the day my dog was discharged. The staff at the front desk seemed stressed and on edge both times I came in which definitely affected their customer relations. I really hope this hospital shapes up and listens to their customers, because without customers they will have no business. And if they dont change their ways, I hope CVS gets replaced with a hospital that has integrity, competitive and fair pricing, and true care for our family members. Any takers?

Best care available. They save our little pups life this weekend when her body just started shutting down and we didnt know why. Everyone was caring and patient as they explained everything to us....sometimes more than once. They let us visit with her even though she couldn't come home right away. There is nowhere better.
