Thank you Center Vet Clinic for looking at my puppy! I got a rescue dog a few days ago, and was told she was 4 months by the rescue, brought her to a vet and they said 7 months. Because timing the spay is important, I wanted a 3rd opinion. Center Vet was kind enough to take a quick look. Other places that I called wanted me to do a whole exam and pay high fees.

Dr. B and the staff are so great. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, but they show their compassion for pets and humans every time we visit. The office is a cheerful and welcoming place to visit. Cherie always comes out to visit with the dogs. Dr. B. is great at answering all questions via email or phone. He is amazing at "reading" animals and putting them at ease. He does a great job of including your wishes into your pet's care. Can't say enough about them. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I had a horrible experience with mohnacky with my cats surgery and they were over pricing me on everything! I came here with a bit of skepticism from my previous vet but had an open mind and they were awesome! I got Winston my pembroke welsh corgi neutered here and they did a fabulous job! They took care of him and gave him all the medicine they needed for pain and loved him! He healed very quickly and clean! I will bring all my fur babies here! Thank you staff and Dr.Bigelow!

I originally brought my two puppies here for spaying after a friend recommended them. The vet we had used for over 15 years had gotten too expensive, but I was hesitant to try someone new. I'm so glad I did. The office is clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and informative. You can tell they love what they do. Their fees are very reasonable and I never have to wait when I bring my dogs in for shots or exams.

We have bringing our bull terrier Almond here since she was 12 weeks old. Dr. B is really nice and very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff is very friendly and you can tell that they all love animals. We've brought Almond in here for annual check ups and vaccinations and they always treat her like she's their own dog. We've had a couple instances when Almond was not feeling well and at home and messages to Dr. B would get a quick response and recommendation. Almond was spayed here as well and she recovered quickly.

Searched long and hard for a new Dr. and Staff after grieving the loss of two of my babies ages 16 and 19 of illness in 2012. Criteria: Had to interact with love, compassion and gentleness to the parents as well as our fuzzy child and be totally transparent and informative to any queries regarding the health and well being of my new Kitten DALEWOLF. Waited awhile to deal with serious illness and upon equalizing - got our sweet little boy from the Helen Woodward Foundation, and found this office to be exactly the perfect group to care deeply and lovingly with all of us. It is a relief and a positive experience whenever dalewolf has had to visit the office. We are so fortunate Dr. B noticed, upon careful exam - an exposed tooth root - which could have created uncomfortable issues for dalewolf in the future. He was spot on and we immediately scheduled to have the tooth removed. Dalewolf bounced back within a few days to a happy, carefree little spirit and all due to the love and attention by the most loving staff and brilliant Dr. B. As a fuzzy child parent with issues, hearing & tinnitus being one of them, Dr. B gives great one on one contact for me to understand what is needed, and Dalewolf never complains when he is there. That is a huge plus, when our babies have the greatest sense of who is safe and who is not in the human world. We consider this office and this Doctor to be of the highest caliber in knowledge, interaction and gentleness. Best yet, all questions from we, the lay people are answered to allay any concerns we - who love our babies are experiencing. I have informed many looking for a new office for their babies to check it out. I give this office a very high rating as I have had the worst in experiences and this is the finest thus far. Give it check out people - you will not be disappointed, and your fuzzy babies will get the greatest of love, attention and care. They take good care of my senior dog. Staff always pleasant and accommodating Vet also worked with me to ensure my pet insurance will pay a procedure our fur ball needed. They also have everything in this place: boarding, grooming, and vet services, of course. Our nervous dog just has to get used to going to one place.

I was very well informed before and after surgery and even received a phone call to tell me how my fur baby was recovering. After I took kenji home I had a few questions so I called and the staff was very quick to help and reassure me everything was normal. Only four stars just because I know there is always room to improve. Improve how? I don't really know, but I don't want to paint them into a corner! The front office staff have difficulty with communication as they are the first means of scheduling an appointment, asking a question etc. The information that was provided to me when I transferred my dogs care was incorrect. Not sure if it was to appease me at the moment to get my dogs into the computer system. Since then I seem to have the same experience with the front line staff. I spoke to the admin supervisor and she said for me to remember that this is a family owned business and that reviews effect there business. Providing incorrect information to new customers effects my dogs and my family's life. I think when the front line staff can not provide accurate information they should not be the first line of contact as these experiences with them have changed my mind about taking my dogs to this location. I have been a pet owner 21 years now I take my time with who I bring them to for care. I feel that the Dr. at this location does provide good care however having to go through the front line staff to get the care is not something anyone should have to deal with as the customer service needs to improve. The response from the provider to this review is inaccurate I did not come in and speak to anyone from his office and I would never say someone was Incompetent. Nor was I harsh Or verbally abusive on the phone with anyone. As you can see in my review I had nothing but good things to say regarding the Dr’s care. I did say the customer service received was not exceptional. It’s saddening that the provider feels they need to address these concerns on a review page instead of calling the customer to communicate. I received a email from the provider that I’ve attached. Instead of communicating with the client/customer the provider sends an email terminating care. With any patient care communication is key.

We recent switched vets from Paradise Vet Hospital down the street to Center Vet Clinic because we adopted a new dog from the pound and they offered a free exam for new pets. I'm so glad we switched. As a multi-pet house with both a cat and a dog, I was pleased to see that they give each pet a separate waiting area as to avoid stress. We recently took our cat in to get a sanitary trim, and the entire process from leaving our house to getting him back in the car after his groom only took 30 minutes. The staff here is absolutely responsive, helpful, and clearly cares for their patients with love and tenderness and I always feel confident walking out of that office with the knowledge that both of my pets are in good hands. I would recommend this vet to anybody in San Diego - your commute would absolutely be worth it. Thank you CVC team for taking such good care of our fur babies!

This was my first experience at Center Vet with Dr. Bigelow and his staff and I have very high standards. I have my puppy neutered and I was very happy. They were very personal, appreciated the personality of my pup, answered all of my questions. They helped the next day when I returned because the cone had to be replaced. Very supportive. He's all healed after 6 days! Amazing. No pain after the first day. I got lucky with my dog and a great vet!

We were able to contact Dr. Emily Clore, who offered a calm, supportive voice and went through her symptoms and helped us with decision making on what to do next. We are so grateful for her expertise and most of all her kind, caring, compassion toward us during our crisis. Our dog Mollie has recovered and is doing well now.

This place is great. I get greeted right when I walk in by the receptionist. I take my 2 German shepherds to board there and they always greet them by name when I drop off and are always so happy to see them. When I pick my pups up I always get a report card of how their “vacation” stay was. I always hang it on the fridge. Always smells nice and very clean. Poor experience. Brought my dog here for a simple ear infection. Vet suggested $1000 in needless tests. Avoid unless you want to give away all of your money and subject your pet to needless poking and prodding.

Center Vet is awesome! Staff are always friendly and helpful, to both people and pets! You can tell they really want to make the visit as stress free as possible for everyone and really care about your pet's health. We took our rescued puppy there for 3 years. We started with another clinic closer to where we lived, but once we found Center Vet in Mira Mesa we were willing to make the 30 min drive each time to go there instead. Dr. Bigelow helped us clear up a host of issues with our pup, including mange and several internal parasites, performed her spaying operation, and generally took great care of her. She is happier and healthier now than ever. It is easy to make an appointment, and they are very responsive and helpful. Dr. Bigelow also always takes the time at the end of each visit to address any concerns we may have, and he doesn't sell us on unnecessary products/procedures. We had such a great experience here that we even considered keeping Center Vet as our primary veterinarian after moving to Temecula. Highly recommend!!!

Sheri is always a tremendous help at CVC. She assisted me in getting signed in after my dog was weighed. While my dog was getting her vaccine, we discussed rattle snake shots and I decided to add this, and was able to get it done right away. She'll have to go in for a booster next month, but I feel it was a good investment since we hike the nearby canyons.
