Yes, perhaps this clinic is not the least expensive in town. However, the Doctors here are absolutely the best and your pet will receive the best care possible. Dr. Leach is absolutely amazing with cats. She is caring, will always take time to explain all options and to discuss everything related to your pet. She is absolutely amazing. Dr. Fabergas is also amazing. They both really care about your pet. Furthermore they have all the latest equipment including the ability to take dental x-rays. Dr. Leach saved a cat that I adopted who needed skin grafts and four surgeries. She is really amazing. If you want the best care for your beloved animal, don't think twice about trusting the staff here with treating and caring for your pet.

I have never written a review before and in light of my journey these past weeks I feel compelled. Dr. Laurie Leach is among the finest veterinarians in Los Angeles County and as far as I am concerned the best ever. I first came to Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital in 1996, shortly after they opened. My cat Morris was suffering from diabetes and his former doctor was unable to regulate his insulin. Enter Dr. Leach – she not only figured it out in one visit – she intuitive amazing care and knowledge prolonged his life for years, passing away at 21 years old. Understanding my heartbreak Dr. Leach then gifted me their young hospital cat – which was promptly named Trouble. Trouble flourished and lived a long life under Dr. Leach’s steady and brilliant care. My next cat Lucky become stressed out to the max and his already diagnosed urinary issues affecting his kidneys in a life threatening way is what brings me to write this review. Dr. Leach stepped up immediately offering to find our precious Lucky a new home and to care for him until that person met her firm requirements. She and her fabulous staff nursed him back to health and a new home was secured. She will to continue as his doctor and maintain his good health. Dr. Leach is dedicated to the well being of each and every animal that passes through her hospital’s doors, bringing intelligence, understanding, competence and a gentle soothing manner to both animals and owners. I recommend Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital – they take the very best care of our animal family! Mrs. Mitchell, Los Angeles

Horrible experience. The staff obviously does not care about animals at all. Zero empathy, sense of urgency, or basic animal care knowledge. I seriously do not believe that any of the staff members have gone to veterinary school. Unqualified, unprofessional pet killers.

Doctor's are good and personable. THIS IS A SHAME AS THE VETS ARE EXCELLENT. FRONT OFFICE YOUNG WOMEN RUDE, ABRUPT, SHORT WITH CLIENTS. Too busy looking things up instead of looking at clients. Disorganized. Back office help friendly. NOT FRIENDLY IN PERSON OR ON THE PHONE

After a terrible experience at another local vet, we switched to Beverly Oaks and have received terrific care for four of our dogs there for the last fifteen years. Dr. Leach & her staff are THE BEST.

This is absolutely the worst vet hospital ever. The front desk personnel are just hanging about talking. They talk to people like they know about animal medicine. THEY DO NOT! The doctor told me he was sure my puppy had eaten something poisonous and that the test was VERY EXPENSIVE. And then suggested we run a bunch of other tests to make sure it wasn't something else. And that there was nothing that could be done if it did turn out to be poison ingestion. Thank goodness I have a brain in my head and intuition, because I then took my pup to the Animal Emergency Center on Ventura in Studio City next to Colfax. Absolute BEST care ever. They were shocked when I told them that Beverly Oaks said there was nothing that could be done. They tested her, determined what the poison was, and then gave her an iv, catheter and medicines to flush her body. I can't even give Beverly Oaks 1 star in good conscience.

We recently had to undergo the worst part of being a pet owner. Dr. Leach and the staff at BOAH could not have been kinder, gentler or more compasionaite. At time's you will have to wait but that is only because they are doing the very best to give every patient their full attention and respect required in delicate situations. Thank you all for the kindness and respect we and our special boy were always treated with.

I was very unsatisfied with their services. they charged me $250 for a visit and ear cleaning for my dog's ear infection and their services weren't done effectively so I called and asked for refund which they refused and had me to wait 40 minutes to talk to the manager, Sheena Novick. she was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I will never come back here ever again.

Took my cat for a urine promble, said they would help my cat..charged me 400.00 for a service NOT DONE.had to take him to a nother vet.that saved his life... i wouldn't take my worst enemy there

Having had big dogs all my life, I was not prepared when I got a small breed dog as a gift. So much so that when he was left alone for 10 minutes, little Henney chewed through my network cable and had wires coming out of his mouth. I was pretty worried about him swallowing some and called BOAH. I called and spoke to Dr. Christina Chou who told me about the different risks if he had swallowed some wires and if it was her own dog she would bring it in for some tests. She told me exactly what she thought and what my options were and listened to how I felt and was good with my pup. Good thing I brought him in because if you look at the images it would appear Henney had a buffet of wires in his belly. Thankfully he was carefully watched and I was told of signs to look for as one of the wires looked like it was stuck. Surgery was in the end not needed. Henney returned a little later to get some teeth extractions as his adult teeth were growing out and his baby teeth were refusing to go. Got fixed at the same time. Guess no little Henneys. Both procedures were done without complications. Can't even tell see a scar and no one would even know Henney was fixed, except that his balls aren't there anymore, poor guy. Overall would highly recommend this place. Staff are all nice. And now little Henney is back terrorizing the world and chilling at the grove.

Our very elderly dog had surgery here. She passed away 3 days after. She passed away due to a post surgery related heart conditions. They did not care to check of her heart condition prior to having surgery. Bloodwork doesn't check for heart conditions. Dr. Christina Chou informed us she listened to her heart with just a stethoscope and she was well enough for surgery. She THOUGHT it was okay.. If she was more precautionary. Had xrays or been checked with a specialist we would of discovered this and not go through with the surgery. It's unbearrable to watch my mother drench in tears every hour. I hope some board or some organization see this and tear this mal-practiced hospital down. Please.

One of the. "Doctors" just charged me 60 bucks to look to see if my dog was stung. Then she whined at me like a child when questioned the charge. Very unprofessional. Other docs excellent but clearly I will never go to that doc again

Used to be one of the best animal hospitals in the San Fernando Valley used to be you could call and talk to her that even if your pet was not their clients and gets information and advice but not now all they care about is money and protecting their asses from lawsuits they are horrible on the phone and if you question them about anything they laugh in your face they're completely unprofessional I would never take my pet there ever again and you shouldn't either

I've been a customer of Beverly Oaks for two years, and was always amazed by the service and professionalism of the doctors and staff, as my prior review reflected. I've sent many friends to this hospital for their animals. Today, that changed. I cannot believe the deplorable service I received today, and the complete dysfunction of the hospital. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution all other patients.

Great animal hospital that handled my last minute emergency. Really appreciated the generosity of the hospital.

I have been bringing my pets here for over 15 years. I and my pets have always been treated with courtesy and compassion. I highly recommend this practice. And Dr. Leach is the best vet I have ever known.

Victor Wise

Dr. Leach only cares about one thing -- getting as much money from you as possible! She'll gladly risk killing your animal if it promises the potential of being able to bill you for an extraneous surgery or procedure. What really stick's out for me was when she wanted to cut out the rectum of my 19 year old Labrador because he had rectal cancer. Here I have probably the oldest Lab in the world, and she want's to remove his colon because he has a cancerous tumor. She resorted to emotional blackmail saying it would be 'medically unethical' for me not to do the procedure. When my dog died, she billed my almost 200 dollars to dispose of his remains. Every surgery with her always needs a follow up surgery and at least 3 additional visits. My dead dog aside, I'm also suspicious that Dr. Leach is sexist. She would always look at my wife when talking, not me - and the only male's in her clinic are at the goon's that are needed to muscle big dog's into a restraint so they can be examined.

Cannot say enough what an exceptional Veterinarian Dr. Kirksey is! I visited the Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital under somewhat sad circumstances: bringing my pet, roommate and friend of 20 years in to be euthanized. My cat Tallulah had been fighting kidney failure and arthritis the last couple of years of her life, and at had reached the point where her suffering outweighed my selfish desire to have her around. When I arrived at Beverly Oaks animal hospital, it was in the evening, after my regular vet and most others in the area were already closed. The courteous staff quickly recognized the situation and got us through the paperwork process instantly, and ushered us into a quiet, clean examination room. Within moments, Dr Jessica Kirksey came in to talk to us. Without a doubt, she exhibited the best 'bedside manner' that I have ever experienced from a medical professional, including people doctors. She was compassionate for my cat, as well as for the humans in the room. Her empathy for us and the difficulty of our situation was immediately felt, and even though we were there to say goodbye to a family member, her presence and demeanor made it feel like the right thing. She walked us through the options and within a couple of minutes, Tallulah was prepped for the procedure with care and cooing. It was calm, loving, with Dr. Kirksey moving deftly and gently through the process, allowing us the moments to say goodbye as our kitty went into a gentle sleep and then was gone. No amount of planning or preparation can prevent sadness at a time like this, but Dr Kirksey's professional and loving care made these last moments bearable, loving and warm. I cannot imagine a better experience, under the circumstances. I honestly believe she should teach classes in this to other vets and doctors. Thank you, Dr Kirksey. My family thanks you and will always be grateful. Justin

Late night emergency and there wasn't anyone at the front desk. Didn't feel like they were thorough. VERY overpriced.

My pup was very sick about 4 weeks ago. I took her in around 11pm. She had to stay overnight. I asked them to stay in touch with me along the course of the next day for progress & billing updates. I knew they were quite expensive as I've brought both my dogs here before. They asked me for a $900 deposit. I guess people run on their bill (can't blame them.) I had a long discussion with the front overnight girl the quote was unacceptable to me & before they added services on in the day I wanted a call to approve each test & addition to the bill etc ... She said no problem. She'd make sure that happened. I called in around 11a the next day. I was told my pup was doing well & resting. They'd try to feed her around 4pm, but no tests had been done. I called in at 6pm was told a Dr. would call me back shortly since I had not heard from anyone. I never received a return call. I had to call back at 7:30pm and finally spoke with the overnight Dr. There was no clear diagnosis. I asked about the bill. The girl told me it was $700. I said great I'll be getting $200 back since they took a deposit of $900 the night before. I picked my dog up about 9pm. They had no real diagnosis, but they gave me meds to take home & the bill was ... $1800 not $700. Big difference. I was extremely upset and the front girl proceeded to argue with me as I explained to her they had agreed to call me before they added on services for the day. The girl next to her was the one who agreed they'd call me each step of the way before they added onto my bill. She agreed with me, but had no explanation why they didn't other than they didn't do it & she was the overnight girl. I had to pay the next $900. This vet is outrageously expensive. Be careful. They charge Neiman Marcus prices, but they do not have the service to back it up. When you question them they argue with you. Their front of house staff should be replaced. They are rude & multiple reviews say the same thing. I was referred by my mom as she said Dr. Kirksy was good, but I've never seen her on my visits. I took my girl home and I never had one single call from anyone to check on my dog after we left. I'd never take my dog here again. I've transferred my dogs records away from Beverly Oaks

I liked this place a lot. The receptionist and doctors were very kind and did all the could to help my beloved pets. The also succeeded in caring for my pets and the are happy and healthy. BUT, I did have to wait for quite a long time, but I expected that. Overall I think Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital was a very nice experience.

I haven't gone through the reviews, But I will tell you my experience. I took my dog in for some breathing concerns. Dr. Torres was simply amazing. You can tell how caring she is, she took her time. The result was she believed it was something normal. She gave great advice and DIDN"T EVEN CHARGE (now do not use this against them and expect the same). I definitely recommend this doctor in particular. Thank you very much.

Will not be coming back here. Took my dog here for a semi-emergency. As such, we did not have an appointment but called ahead and was told walk-ins were fine and to expect a 45min wait. After waiting nearly an hour, we were told that they were all of a sudden not accepting walk-ins, but gave us a scheduled appointment for that same day at 6pm. We come back at 6pm, and were told to sit tight and our name would be called in a few minutes. After nearly an hour (nearly 7pm) we were told that they were only then getting to their 5:30 appts. This is probably something that I should have been told about when checking in or should have been called about in advance. Even though they knew that we had an emergency situation, they offered to let me "leave the dog here overnight, and we will get to him when we can." When I refused and said that a comp on the office visit would be more appropriate, I was told that they had planned on comping me the DEPOSIT on an overnight stay. During this time there was also a sketchy lady walking around the waiting room harassing patients and attempting to sell them paintings. The vet staff did not seem bothered by this. Clearly this place has some priority issues when it comes to putting the health of their patients first. If there is an emergency and you cannot help, you should just say so. That way, the animal can actually receive the treatment it needs in a prompt timeframe.

Extremely bad experience,, there own words "Lady this is business" My dear cat was in pain decided to put her to sleep she was crying and took her to the closest clinic to end her suffering, I ask them, beg them not to charge so much Im disable and low income, I had to borrowed 60 dollars from my daughter to paid for the euthanasia they want to charge almost 300 dollars, they won't do anything to remediate did not see her, not compassion at all, This establishment is in money mill not a place to have your pet cared for, they will do anything to have you pet coming back so they can withdraw money from you. !!shame on them !!!I won't even give the star but I have to in order to post. pet killers !!

So, Dr. Waikart is absolutely amazing and adorable and encompasses the ideal knowledgeable, animal loving vet we all hope for when our babies are hurting. The service was great, especially for 2am. The tech, I'm assuming he was a tech, named Jesse, was quite helpful and answered my thousand questions thoroughly. Fair prices, and they accept care credit. I am thoroughly satisfied.

Deborah Hooper

Please do yourself and your animals a favor and stay away from this place. Our 16 year old Llhasa Apso had a stroke. Couldn't walk, tried to bark but couldn't. She had been diagnosed 5 months earlier with a brain tumor so we knew we had to say goodbye. We arrived at Beverly Oaks at 5:20pm. They said it would be a "short wait" as 2 appts. were ahead of us. Guess again….1 1/2 hrs later we left while the receptionist lied and said "I told you I could refer you to a vet in the area who could see you sooner". She said no such thing!!! She also said that the only person who could have helped us was Dr. Leach who didn't even arrive until 7 PM. The room they stuck us in looked so awful. Not painted, drywall patching everywhere. We could not have been more traumatized.

Mackenzie Korus

I wish I could give this place negative stars. DO NOT GO HERE FOR EMERGENCIES! Find any other vet, even if it’s farther away. Otherwise your pet will most likely die. These “doctors” only want your money. Instead of doing physical exams they immediately go to X-Rays and bloodwork. They are vile excuses for human beings, let alone doctors that are supposed to have bed side manners. Dr. Wood should never be allowed to practice medicine of any kind and needs serious help.

Damnit Notmylastname

I've been a customer of BOAH for 3 years now. Unfortunately my dog has been bitten a few times and has chronic allergies which drive him loopy. I've been very happy with the service here and how they handle my animal. They have been helpful getting my insurance taken care of also. Dr Leach seems especially competent and knowledgable. I can't really comment on the prices as this is my first dog that I've owned by myself.

Excellent experience. Staff was thoughtful and patient. Vet was willing to talk at length about my care options as well as cost considerations. Well priced for the quality of care.

This place is a total scam. Brought my dog in because of obvious eye infection. Was told over the phone that the visit would cost $80. After waiting for an hour, a vet tech took my dogs temperature and weighed her. After another eternity of waiting, the vet came in, barely looked at our dog, agreed that something was wrong with the dog's eye eye and said then the vet said would be right back with "quotes." She returned with a list of unnecessary procedures, including eye dilatation, dye-tests and so forth, and said that it would cost $240 before meds. Outraged, I left, and was told that I had to pay for the "doctor's visit" - ie, the 2 minutes that the vet was in the room with us before she quoted us the superfluous procedures. I said no way and left. They continued to harass me for the money, adding interest and bill payments to the total, and I kept saying that as NO SERVICES had been provided I would not pay. Eventually I just wanted to be done with them, so I paid online. They neglected to update my balance and sent $100 to collections ($80 I already paid for no services plus FEES????!!) Now I have a collections agency harassing me. Called them up to clear it up and they "couldnt find" my payment. I happened to keep my confirmation of payment and so they have now told me to call back tomorrow to talk to manager. SO FRUSTRATING! STEER CLEAR OF THIS VET! (PS, the following day I took my dog to another vet, who shined a light into my dog's eye, said she had conjunctivitis, gave her antibiotics and she was recovered in a day - and the whole thing after medications cost me $110.)

Grr Kpp

This place is horrible not only is all of the front office rude and they don't seem to even know that you're there they don't pay much attention to year pets either case in point brought my 2 cats in during the fires last week and they charged me about 30% more than they quoted me on the phone for boarding And the also insisted that I get a physical for each cat before they would take them in and charged me for thatand they also neglected my pets they both lost weight after only 2 days and one of them got very sick and that when I tried to take mt cat back to get looked at they refused to see.my cat saying i was rude to the cashier this place should be out of business closed. Do not take your pets here..

Samantha williams

Worst service ever. There’s a place literally walking distance that I guarantee will be better. Our cat was swollen up like a balloon and they took forever to see him. Guy at the front typed incredibly slow, zero hustle. Literally took an hour before the ‘vet’ even saw him. By that time, he was less swollen and breathing normally. I had to point out that he had obvious red looking diarrhea stuck to his butt and do his job for him. All he wanted to talk about was his peculiar past-injured leg, which has been seen by a REAL vet and an orthopedic vet. Don’t come here.

Lee Cohen

Worse experience! Doc Wood is unprofessional. When I asked him how many years of experience he mentioned 3. Fromt sesk girl said 2 and the head norse said 10. I had to take my dog to anothe vet.

Vivian Bush

I WILL HONESTLY TELL YOU THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!! I've been coming here for a while and EVERY TIME I go there they do NOTHING for me but take my MONEY $$$. It all started when I took a lost cat here once and spend $400 dollars for them to treat this poor kitty and then put it to sleep because it was the "RIGHT" thing to do. Seriously !!!??? They totally play at your heart strings here. I was like okay I"ll give them a second try ...I took my pup there one night because she was having problems breathing just to pay around $600 for them to DRUG her up on pain killers and DO NOTHING positive to treat her problem. WHAT A WASTE of money!!! Then I took both my cat and dog in this year to get them check up all they did was charge me $700 for nothing. Literally for NOTHING! Man did I regret coming here..... by this point you would think I would have learned my lesson by now. My pup has been sick now for about a month and I went in with HOPES of them helping me figure out what was wrong with her.... I knew they were gonna be a waste of time and money but I thought maybe because they have my doggie's record they would be a help. I WAS WRONG, MAN THEY HAD TO ASK ME IF I REMEMBER HER LAST WEIGHT WTF.... DO I PAY YOU GUYS FOR!! TODAY I PAID $58 FOR THE DAMN VET TO BARLEY TOUCH MY DOG AND THEN TELL ME SHE HAS FLEAS WTF WTF WTF I HAD TO STRESS SHE HAS A LUMP AND THEY WERE LIKE MAYBE IT CAN BE A TUMOR... THEY WANTED ANOTHER $300 FOR THEM TO GIVE HER JUST A X- RAY. I will never come here again!... yeah maybe its a nice looking place and is in an nice area but all they do is RIP PEOPLE OFF. I don't recommend this place to no one!

Brittany Ordahl

They’ve always been nice and helpful.

They work like a car dealership. Trying to get as much money as they can from you. I brought in my cat because it seemed dehydrated. They said it needed a IV and some blood work and misc shots. They said we need to keep it overnight. The next day they said we need to keep your cat longer. I said No, Give me my cat back. Guess how much this regular visit cost me... Over $1000. They even charge $5 for every time they clean the litter box. IV Solution $100, IV Solution additives $100. Blood tests $250 and it goes on and on. Every tiny thing they did they charge for. I asked them to explain all these weird charges and they became hostile and rude. I would never go back here. This place is a nightmare to deal with. They rip you off and then are even mean to you.

Sophie Schmell

I will start with the positives. The doctors are exceptional. Extremely caring towards the pets. I've only had one of the desk ladies be remotely helpful and attending to my questions, she was older than the rest whom are quite disrespectful. The bad: it's overly expensive. This vet makes me question whether they just want my money or they actually want my dog to feel better. They recommend things that aren't necessary; for example, my dog had a cold which was accompanied by bloody mucus, the doc made me get a nasal X-ray ($300) when I knew that all he needed were antibiotics. I wasn't forced to get this, however, it was so strongly suggested by a professional that it made me question myself. I am a recurrent customer, even with the absurd prices. This weekend I was out of town and my dog sliced open the webbing between his toes. I took him to the vet here and got it stitched and bandaged. The bandages have to be changed in 5 days so I called MY vet, whom I've already spent a fortune on, and they tell me that if I want it re-bandaged, I will have to get it examined first ($58) and then pay for the bandaging ($55). It is absolutely absurd to me that my dog's paw is fixed and I would have to pay $120 to get new bandages applied. Basically, this vet is great if you are a millionaire and don't care about throwing your money away.

Dr Leach is the best! Do to me giving my dog to many treats he had gained about 10 pounds to much, so I have been running him daily while I bike. The last couple of days he has been licking both his front paws endlessly and when I looked at them I noticed that one paw had what looked like skin of his paw was ripped apart the other paw had two spots wear the same thing happened. I immediately took him to Beverly Oaks. I waited about 5 minutes before I got in to see Dr Leach who was really really nice and asked a bunch of questions about what I have been doing and what time of day I have been running him and so forth. She looked at both paws and explained to me that it was just "blisters" and to not worry because they would come off the same as humans get them from running. What happens is that the next layer of skin will be tougher and since I haven't ran my dog before and running him on concrete it can happen. I never knew Dogs could get blisters, so I felt way better after she told me that because I figured he would have to get surgery to remove the skin like when he was little and ripped his "side claw finger" almost off. Dr Leach said not even to worry about wrapping it because he wasn't in pain and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Winston (my dogs name) was up on all his shots and also doesn't have a checkup for 3 more months. I was in there literately for 10 minutes with her and she said that don't worry about it there is no charge. She rubbed his belly for a couple minutes more and talked to me about his diet and then I was off. I picked up a couple treats for him from their store and took him home. All in all less then a hour. The front desk girl was very nice and they have lots of good healthy treats and food for dogs. The entire place is also very clean. I am a Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital fan for life. Thank you guys for everything!

Dr. Laurel Leach is the greatest! I adopted my cat Bokun from Cat Connection at Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital. During our 10 years together he was a major part of my life. Throughout those years Dr. Leach cared for him, guiding us through his diabetes. As the end drew near and his health deteriorated, she took the time to research and suggest medical options, and was personally supportive in helping me cope with the loss of my dear cat. I will never forget that.

I recently brought in my young dog who was running a fever and shaking terribly in the middle of the night. Dr. Wood was great with her. Eleanor is a rescue, so we don't know her background, but she doesn't open up to many males easily. Dr. Wood was very patient and had a calm demeanor. I knew that El was in good hands with him. He also had a vet tech on duty, Tiffany. El absolutely loved her. Both Dr. Wood and Tiffany were amazing with my dog. Since there was nothing wrong with Eleanor (she was eating/drinking normal, and using the restroom normal) I was given the options of fever treatments, pricing, and suggestions of what we should do that night to take care of El. She was back to her silly self within 24 hours of treatment. I'd like to also point out that the pricing for an emergency visit was very reasonable. These doctors are doing incredible work and taking the best care of our animals (in my case, I refer to them as my children.) Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital has my business for my dogs. Thank you Dr. Wood!

I have been here twice for 2 different emergencies. The staff was professional, the facility was clean and I appreciated the attention and sensitivity they gave our situation. I have recommended this vet to others.

Beverly Oaks is the only place I trust with my animal emergencies!! Dr. Leach is a miracle worker!! She literally brings kittens back to life when it looks like all hope is gone. All the vets there are great and very compassionate. The vet techs and the front of the house staff are amazing!! Laura who does a little bit of everything is irreplaceable!! Thank you again for the wonderful care you have given to my sick babies! Carolyn Cody

Do not take your pet here. The so called “vet” could not form a clear sentence. Was incapable of expressing a clear idea about what was wrong with our cat. $600 later I am taking my cat to another vet basically because that could not communicate with a human or animal.

Bebe Corbin

We have been using Dr. Laurel Leach at Beverly Oaks for over six years. She is by far our favorite at the facility and we make sure she is working on the day we need to visit for pet care. She is incredibly kind and compassionate with pets (and the owners). She is a straight shooter and tells you honestly what your options are. She won't push treatments or medications unless they are genuinely necessary. The staff there are also warm and friendly. In all our years together, we have never been disappointed.

Ok, I think this place is probably ok for routine visits. Emergencies not as much. My dog had an emergency and had swallowed a foreign body and the vet said there was essentially no other way but surgery and it’s very clear and obvious that we would need surgery. He also didn’t explain everything that well and when he talked about surgery, he did so in a way that made me uncomfortable “well just cut him open from here to here.” The place was also pretty dirty. My dog had three other dogs hair on him because the floors weren’t swept at all. We THANKFULLY went to another emergency vet who was more professional and advised that a less invasive endoscopy could solve the issue and remove the foreign body. The endoscopy worked. We felt, that the vet pushing the surgery may have been more money motivated as not even an endoscopy was considered or brought to our attention. If we had listened, our dog would’ve had to have been opened for no reason, and we would’ve had to pay around 5k for something which ultimately didn’t require surgery. I wouldn’t go here for emergency procedures as I didn’t have a good trustworthy feeling about it. The staff at the front desk was nice.

The front desk staff is very rude. I wont leave my dogs there anymore.
