I have waited to review Adobe Animal Hospital to see how they handled a couple of problems I have had. I probably started out with a 4 star rating after the first visit, and there are reasons why it has gone down to 2 by the time I write this. On the positive side, the 2 veterinarians I have met are very personable, give good information, and follow up with calls very promptly.
On the negative side, the amount of time waiting for appointments seems excessive, the charges for services are definitely higher than the clinic we came here from, but those still wouldn't have dropped their rating to a 2. What did that was the staff and how they mishandled the charges for part of a procedure. They failed to put a biopsy on the bill I paid, then called me to tell me that we still owed them; still not a problem, I would have paid it when we came in if they had asked when I was in the office. What happened is that as I was driving out of the parking lot an employee came out with the statement. It was raining and I had a dog I could not secure in the car, so I said "Mail it to me and I will send a check." A week went by and nothing came from them, instead I get another phone call saying that "I need to pay this... So today I called before I went in for the appointment to remove sutures and told the person who answered to have that bill ready when I got there so I could take care of it. When I got there, no one knew anything about it, so I finally took the dog in to get the sutures out. This person had the bill, so now I need to take more time on the way out to pay it. When I tried to do that, their credit card machine was not working and the person there said "Give me the card information and we will charge it when we get it working". NOT A SECURE WAY TO DO TRANSACTION!! If there is a manager there, you need to get your act together.
