This clinic has the most caring staff it's so amazing. The vet for my Hannah Mae has so much compassion in her heart. I would definitely recommend this animal clinic to anyone.

Adam Priest

They are second to none! We thought we might lose our little ferret and had to make a risky call to have surgery performed to remove a large fast-growing tumor. They were so empathetic to our situation and worked with us to save our little guy's life just in time! They might be a touch more expensive than other vets, but they not only took care of our boy, but they took care of us, knowing we were facing some hard decisions. This is what veterinarian care is all about. Easiest 5 stars I've ever given.

Sarah Eden

I wont take my pets anywhere else. They have treated my cats and even my rats. As wonderful as they are with my cats the way they treated my rats was my first impression of this vets office and let me know what kind of people I was dealing with. As specialty pets I was prepared to pay out the nose for treatment for them and hope that the vet would even see them in the first place. Dr. Stone saw my little fuzzballs and the staff treated them wonderfully and the price for the treatment was perfectly reasonable and they have always given me a quote when I needed it to see what I could afford. They have actually put both of my rats to sleep for me when the time came. The whole situation was handled with compassion and kindness and I cant say enough nice things about the whole staff. My cats are also treated by Dr. Stone, I have three ranging from 20 years to less than a year old and they always receive top notch treatment. To make a long story short, I highly recommend this vet office to anyone in the Conway area looking for a good vet.

St. Francis successfully spayed my rabbit, which can be a high-risk surgery due to the anesthesia. They called me to check on her throughout the week and even made time to glue her wound back up when they didn’t have much time/space available. The staff is impressively diverse and knowledgeable in different areas. I wouldn’t trust my rabbit with anyone else in Arkansas. These guys have never failed me and I absolutely love being a customer!

Dr. Stone is our primary vet. Occasionally though we have seen others there. And because we have gone there so long we have had lots of technicians and front office staff. Everyone has always been wonderful. My dogs have received excellent care, my questions answered, and also, very compassionate when we had to release our 14 y/o cocker who suffered from cancer from her pain. I held her at the end.

I've been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy and I cannot remember a single time when the staff was not welcoming and warm. My dog can be quite the handful when he gets his shots, or his nails trimmed and they are always so patient and kind with him. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I took my 2 month old rabbit in after noticing nasal discharge. I had just got her 5 days earlier, and wanted to make sure she didn't have snuffles, a bacterial infection. I knew she was underweight and needed to get a full checkup, but otherwise she was super sweet, curious, happy little girl. As soon as they asked about food, housing, etc. The vet said she wanted to check for dental abscesses, which require sedation. I was nervous, but I consented to the sedation since a friend had highly recommended this vet for rabbit care. After about 30 minutes the vet came back in and said my rabbit was in recovery, and that there were no dental abscesses. She went ahead and prescribed antibiotics for snuffles. Then had me wait about 15-20 more minutes before bringing me a still heavily sedated bunny. She said that it could take a few more hours before she'd be fully awake. So, I took my bun home and got her comfy, hand fed her, gave her water, and her medicine. Then put her in her hutch in a clean disposable litter box with a towel and went to bed. When I woke up my bunny couldn't use her back legs. I called the vets office and through gushing tears told them what was going on. They said that the vet that saw her the day before was out, and they didn't have an available appointment, but said I could bring her in and they'd eventually see her. They called later asking if I'd seen her have a seizure, I said no. Then the vet wanted me to approve to pay for an i.v. and told me to come get her at the end of the day. When I went to get her she was in the same condition, the vet never came to talk to me, nor did they offer to do an xray, or offer any explanation of what caused the paralysis. It's been two days now, my bun is still paralyzed and they haven't even called to check on her. I don't want to keep taking her in everyday just for them charge me and tell me to observe her without trying anything to help her. Money is obviously more important than the health of my rabbit to them. Especially since it seems obvious that her condition was caused by them. I'm hoping to find another vet that will actually try to help her.

Dr. Sharon Stone and her staff are very kind, and professional. Took my 11 year old cat, dodger to her. Dodger had stenosis, and is diabetic. Dr. Stone changed his diet, and is now on insulin. We are now on the road to recovery, thanks to dr.Stone.

The cats might hate the vet, but I love this one all the clinic staff are beyond nice and seem to adore my cats. They have fantastic medical service and even told me about new treatments for my cats chronic illness. I'm moving to Oregon and am gonna miss them sadly. PLUS, their best quality is that weren't trying to upsell or guilt me into expensive add ons like special nail spa stuff or make me feel bad for turning down the 6 month dosage of flea meds.

I had to put my 13 1/2 year old dog down due to severe medical issues. It was a very tough situation considering how close I was to her. After an ER trip to Maumelle and dealing with her vet @ Petsmart in LR, I was short on funds to be able to afford euthanasia and cremation. However, for all the amazing memories and love that she gave me over the decade, I knew that I had to give her something nice. I called around and was St. Francis was in the middle of the pack for pricing. When the day came to put her down, they were very compassionate and allowed us our time with her before the final injection. I will CAUTION everyone needing this done: I regret allowing them to sedate her w/o my presence because by the time she came back out, she was immobile and I don't really know f she was even "there." I tell myself that she was but she couldn't move. I hate myself for letting them do that behind closed doors. I do not fault them, I fault myself. We were allowed ample time to spend with her and I was able hold her as the final injection went in. She was cremated and returned to me in a beautiful box with a simple yet beautiful name placard. I am grateful. I have my girl back at home with me now.

The short version: We went in for shots for the cats and discovered one needed teeth extracted. I've worked in vet clinics before so I knew it was a pricey proceedure and didn't mind that as it was necessary for my kitty's health. But we ended up paying literally three times what we were quoted and every single quote they gave us was incorrect. We found out via phone call once, and the other two times AT THE REGISTER. The long version: the cats teeth were pretty bad and the vet diagnosed several extractions. Dr. Stone told us that her canines would have to be pulled as well as some molars. The vet tech brought us a quote. There was no high/low quote, mind you. There was one figure and we were told to expect to pay that figure. I asked them as well to shave her belly while she was under. I got an acknowledgement each time and saw him write it on the chart. Well I come to pick up my girl and the lady at the register explains that one of her teeth fell out during the proceedure and had been added to the bill. So it went from about $325 to $370. That's not bad and stuff happens. I get it. I paid the bill and was happy to see my kitty again. The vet and a tech brings her out and explains that she did well, that aside from the one tooth, there were no complications and just showered her with compliments. Very sweet lady and very kind tech. Then the vet proceeded to explain the NEXT proceedure. I was a little confused and asked if a second diagnosis had been made. She patiently explained that all they had done was thoroughly clean her teeth and extract the two teeth in the back (including the one that fell out) and that she still needed to come in to get her canines out. I assumed a misunderstanding on my part but went ahead and accepted the quote for the second round of extractions. It was an additional $350. Bummed, but yknow. What can you do? So I signed it and took my cat. I noticed immediately that her belly wasn't shaved and asked about it. The vet and tech both apologized and promised they'd do it the next time she came in. Round two started off fine. I got my girl all checked in nice and quickly. As always, everyone was super nice. I want to stress that at no point was anyone ever rude. I left and about two and a half hours later got a phone call from one of the techs. She informed us that they'd made a mistake on our quote and quoted us for one extraction instead of two. So the total was going to be $470, instead of $350. The cat was already under proceedure and again, the tech was very kind an apologetic. I mentioned that we'd also need meds for both cats for the upcoming move to Colorado (long drive!) and she said that she'd take care of it. I show up to pick up the cat and they've charged me an extra $30-something for the meds (which is a high enough add on that I wished they'd mentioned it) and once again the cats belly was not shaved. They said to come back in five days so they could check on her. I said okay and scheduled that appointment for today. Now today was the final straw. I went in and they took her to the back. Everything seemed fine until the vet came out and showed me the extraction sites. They were infected and needed to be taken care of. She (very kindly) offered to take care of it today since I leave tomorrow, and I agreed. Before she went back though, I asked what I was going to be paying and she said that I would only have to pay for the anesthetic. I thanked her a bunch and turned to the receptionist for further clarification. The receptionist told me it would only be $49 total. I was elated and thanked her. When I returned this afternoon, they not only tried to charge me for the proceedure, but once they finally agreed to take that off the bill (AS PROMISED), they charged me $87. I was pissed and only then did they get irritable with me. I left because I'm not the kind of person to yell at people at their jobs but wow was I upset. In short, do NOT trust the quotes. We went in for a $350 proceedure and have ended up paying about 1k.

I have a cat that is very hostile when visiting the vet. They have this male vet that she is less hostile with. My other cat just lay down and let the male vet draw blood from her with no problem. Great receptionist and staff. They also have the entranced divided, whereas one side for cats and the other side for dogs.

Mandy Waggoner

They told me my service animal had terminal cancer. He doesn't. They then stopped treating him as if he were a living animal who still had problems that needed to be addressed. They didn't even do blood work to confirm his status. If you're looking for someone who will help, Dr Shaddox gave him a differential based on much more experience and wisdom and treated him at a third of the price. Not to mention that their staff was cold and unfeeling as my heart broke into a million pieces. They couldn't slam him back into his carrier fast enough and take my money and ugh. Disgusting experience.

Matt Stephens

Wonderful staff. Very kind to both my cat and dog. The cat is really mean. The dog had to stay over the time in the morning than we had planned so they just let stay later in the day until we could come pick him up.

I have been using a vet close to home but had to have my fur baby referred to a updated office that had a dental x-ray machine so was referred to St Francis, First visit was just awesome, from the lady you meet us at the door to the Dr's assistant that was incredible with my baby. (Yorkie) They did the dental work and called me several times to keep me informed on what was going on and when she was finished. When I went to pick her up the Dr. meet with me and explained everything in detail and even showed me all the x-rays and saved her teeth in a bottle for me.
