Great service! Came home from work to find my kitty not feeling well. After looking at him closer we saw his tummy was hard and he was having a hard time using the bathroom. We called to see if we could do a new patient walk in. They set up an appointment and took him in for surgery immediately. Very fast, friendly service. The cost was also surprisingly low.

Dr. Williams and her team are just great. They take such good care of our pets. Their compassion for animals runs deep and you can really tell. The facility is clean and updated with all the latest equipment. We've had everything from vaccinations to major surgery. They were there for us with our aging pet up to his final breath. They are well stocked with Science Diet pet food and other treats for taking care of our pets, this makes it so convenient for me. My dogs love getting out of the car when we pull up, no pulling or tugging!

I didn't have the best experience here and will not be going back. I called for an appt bc a large lung mass was found on a recent x-ray taken at my vet and I was wondering how soon someone could look them over. I googled "tumor removal" and they were listed with some of the higher ratings. They say "sure, come on in today." But they don't do large mass removals or consults....they just referred me somewhere else and then charged me $45 for it! I understand that a spot was held for me, but the appt should have never been made from the start when I said "large lung mass" on the phone. My dog is injured and on pain medications and I wasted our morning lugging her around uncomfortably in the car to sit in their waiting room for 25 minutes surrounded by other animals causing my dog to jump up and down on the chair (and of course she's not supposed to be jumping) as I try and hold on to her and fill out their paperwork. I was given a briefing of the medications she's on by the nurse...I didn't ask what those were, I knew what they were but thanks. And then the vet comes in, gasps at her x-rays and comments that she can't believe my dog is even walking (thank you - that is exactly what I wanted to hear when you can't even do anything for me)....listens to her heart and looks her over before sending us on our way. Complete waste and I should not have been charged for that.

I brought in my dog and he was diagnosed with parvo. I knew the chances were slim to save him, but I gladly paid the 200$ for his home treatment. We only got a few more hours with him, but I'm not upset about the money. I'm upset about the fact that when I called the next day and asked to speak with the vet about my other dog.. the vet couldn't talk to me. I was just told to bring him in and get him vaccinated. I had asked the day before if I should do that and at that time the vet said no. My question wasn't even about that, it was about my other dog howling and refusing to eat, but I couldn't even ask about this. You would think they would have some sympathy and at least take the time to talk to me, especially since they told me they would call the next day and follow up. They did what they could for our pup Chewy and I can't fault them for losing him, but I can fault them for not caring enough to call me to follow up or even be available to answer my questions afterward. Simply saying bring the other dog in after saying not to only the day before. I had to call another clinic and get info on dealing with my other dog Bobo's grief.

Horrible clinic. I have heard them numerous times downgrading my dog in the back and also saying how I don't reprimand my dog. They have "noise makers" in the room now because this has happened before as one assistant explained to me. They are not fans like I originally thought. All about the money, pushing vaccinations that are not needed and recommending unnecessary treatments. Relief vet was extremely rude so I'll never go back and heard her yelling at the employees in the back. Too many vets in town to deal with things like this.

I have been using St. Francis Animal Hospital for just shy of 5 years, and have had great experiences throughout that time. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians are compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough. Dr. Mozinski has invested a great deal of time helping me with my cat's fairly complicated medical issues; she researches the situations thoroughly, generates ideas for treatment and helps me consider pros and cons of each, and in the (rare!) instance in which a test or treatment could not be provided by their general practice, has connected me with solid specialists. Best of all, I have never once felt rushed in an office visit, and Dr. Mozinski has always taken the time to patiently answer every one of my (many) questions. You can feel safe entrusting your fur-babies to this wonderful clinic!

I’m so very disappointed. When we moved to this side of town we looked for an affordable vet to take our fur babies. We found this vet and was very happy with pricing even though appointments were always behind and very sick contagious animals seem to come in a lot. I kept trusting this clinic to vaccinate and keep our animals in good condition. Recently we have taken our 7 year old cat that is indoor/outdoor and they didn’t even suggest worming him at his last appointment. My husband and I asked later. Shouldn’t we worm him?? We called the vet and they said yes. I personally don’t think when we take animals in for the annual exam that we have to think about everything they possibly need. We are not educated in that field hence the reason we go to the vet. Again today I took my dog in for his annual with a pedicure. They butchered his nails. Some are just as long as before and others are cut into the quick. I know he isn’t easy to trim but that is why I take him to professionals to have them done. I don’t know, my dog has always loved going to the vet because it has been easy and he was handled with respect. I just don’t feel like that happened today. I know they say that these vaccines can make your dog act sluggish but he acts like he was hurt and doesn’t want to be hurt again. Fur baby mommas know what I’m saying! This vet is close to our house so that is nice but I don’t think we will return for services.

These are just a few of the things we look for when turning to a medical professional, so why look for anything less than that for our fur babies? I have every confidence I will receive each of those needs and MORE when I take my "children" to see Dr. Kate and staff. I was originally a Dr. Mayfield client, but was adopted into the clientele that stuck with Dr. Williams as she embraced the practice. I could not be happier with the change. I have great respect for Dr. Mayfield, but he made a wonderful choice with Dr. Williams. Fortunately, I've not had too many vet emergencies, but of those I've had, my fears were put to ease, my anxiety all but eliminated. When my youngest, Stitches, required emergency surgery, not only was I shattered because I felt like a bad mommy, but I also didn't know how I was going to pay for it. I talked with Diana and Dr. Williams and they worked with me to pay the unexpected bill. I wasn't going to let money be the detriment of my fur baby's health and neither were they. I have a coworker who needed a local vet for her pets. She had been to another local vet, but for the procedure her pet had to have, she was quoted nearly triple what she paid at St. Francis Animal Hospital. She has since transitioned St. Francis Animal Hospital for all of her pets. I'm never pressured into buying one specific type of preventative medication, or into forcing unnecessary procedures on my animals. Quite the opposite. I'm given information and then the choice I feel is best. I have zero hesitation recommending St. Francis Animal Hospital to people. ZERO. Do you have a pet? Even an exotic like birds or lizards? Guess what! They receive wonderful care as well!! Don't take my word for it. Take my animals' words for it. If we go to pet related events like the Dogwood Walk, the first booth the girls want to visit is that of St. Francis Animal Hospital, Dr. Kate, Brandon, Jared and ALL the staff. Did I mention they are greeted by name at such events? Yep, it's true. Trust. Care. Knowledge. Compassion. Understanding. Love. These are exactly what you get when you go to St. Francis Animal Hospital.

THEY ARE LUCKY I DONT SUE. Dr Wagner is a WONDERFUL vet, you might be asking why it is a one star well I also brought in my rats. I had a very sick rat and went straight to the vet, i was given some medication (because that's all they do) and was sent home with the vet telling me he will he fine dont worry. Well not even 2 hours later he died in my arms. OH but folks that's not it, I have a rat named Yoda, he has had a troubled life and i rescued him. I TOOK HIM TO THIS VET MULTIPLE TIMES for them to tell me he just as a "resputory" infection AND would be fine with just medicatio. GUESS what no that wasnt the case. He was growing a tumor by his nasel cavity the WHOLE TIME. So you think that someone who has a "licence" would do everything for their customer. they never once suggested something else could be wrong or even asked if I wanted extra tests, thdy barely even spoke to me. I was lied to, and manipulated into thinking my animals were fine. DONT GO IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS!

These are just a few of the things we look for when turning to a medical professional, so why look for anything less than that for our fur babies? I have every confidence I will receive each of those needs and MORE when I take my "children" to see Dr. Kate and staff. I was originally a Dr. Mayfield client, but was adopted into the clientele that stuck with Dr. Williams as she embraced the practice. I could not be happier with the change. I have great respect for Dr. Mayfield, but he made a wonderful choice with Dr. Williams. Fortunately, I've not had too many vet emergencies, but of those I've had, my fears were put to ease, my anxiety all but eliminated. When my youngest, Stitches, required emergency surgery, not only was I shattered because I felt like a bad mommy, but I also didn't know how I was going to pay for it. I talked with Diana and Dr. Williams and they worked with me to pay the unexpected bill. I wasn't going to let money be the detriment of my fur baby's health and neither were they. I have a coworker who needed a local vet for her pets. She had been to another local vet, but for the procedure her pet had to have, she was quoted nearly triple what she paid at St. Francis Animal Hospital. She has since transitioned St. Francis Animal Hospital for all of her pets. I'm never pressured into buying one specific type of preventative medication, or into forcing unnecessary procedures on my animals. Quite the opposite. I'm given information and then the choice I feel is best. I have zero hesitation recommending St. Francis Animal Hospital to people. ZERO. Do you have a pet? Even an exotic like birds or lizards? Guess what! They receive wonderful care as well!! Don't take my word for it. Take my animals' words for it. If we go to pet related events like the Dogwood Walk, the first booth the girls want to visit is that of St. Francis Animal Hospital, Dr. Kate, Brandon, Jared and ALL the staff. Did I mention they are greeted by name at such events? Yep, it's true. Trust. Care. Knowledge. Compassion. Understanding. Love. These are exactly what you get when you go to St. Francis Animal Hospital.

I LOVE St. Francis. They are caring, very thorough, experienced and kind to little Beagles. I never feel like I'm rushed in this office. Appointments run smoothly and are usually on time despite the fact that the doctors take so much time with me. Most importantly they are willing to make time to see me no matter what. They are the only doctor other than the emergency room who listens when I say it is really important and they make time. The only way I could give them a better review would be if I saw the same doctor most of the time (except those darned emergencies of course) and if the costs for surgeries were just a bit less - but what can you do, we all have to put kibble on the table right?

THEY ARE LUCKY I DONT SUE. Dr Wagner is a WONDERFUL vet, you might be asking why it is a one star well I also brought in my rats. I had a very sick rat and went straight to the vet, i was given some medication (because that's all they do) and was sent home with the vet telling me he will he fine dont worry. Well not even 2 hours later he died in my arms. OH but folks that's not it, I have a rat named Yoda, he has had a troubled life and i rescued him. I TOOK HIM TO THIS VET MULTIPLE TIMES for them to tell me he just as a "resputory" infection AND would be fine with just medicatio. GUESS what no that wasnt the case. He was growing a tumor by his nasel cavity the WHOLE TIME. So you think that someone who has a "licence" would do everything for their customer. they never once suggested something else could be wrong or even asked if I wanted extra tests, thdy barely even spoke to me. I was lied to, and manipulated into thinking my animals were fine. DONT GO IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS!

I honeslty felt like the Dr. Was knowledgeable, but being there for 2 hours for a pet check up is too extreme. It's like they prolonged the visit to see of we change our minds on all these things they suggested for our pet. Even though we made it clear we were there for one certain thing they came out with numerous things. We were looking at close to 500 bucks, we rejected all of it but one thing that we came in for. I can't help but feel it's all about the money there.

Placed my dog on Amitriptyline 50mg 1 bid. Sold me a "sample" of 30 tablets for $43.50. Kate Williams said she would call and check on my dog in two weeks to see how he was doing. She did not. I called in the morning and asked for the prescription and stated I would come by that evening. After I get there, they made me wait 25 minutes then told me, after I asked several times, the vet didn't write prescriptions but would call it in to my pharmacy. I told them the name of my pharmacy and they said it would be just a few minutes. I drove back on the other side of town to Harps. No prescription, after 50 minutes and several calls, the pharmacy Manager finally got the prescription. He filled it for 120 tablets 50mg for $13.33. Walmart also charges the same price $13.33. Today I get an email from St Francis Animal Hospital stating there is a change to their policies. One stated she will no longer write prescriptions so people can get the meds through any of the reputable services or your own pharmacy. You must get them through her online pharmacy. You can guess by now the markup on the same meds. It stated "the vet wants to ensure the medication is not out of date." You really think your pharmacist is going to sell out of date medications? The name St. Francis on this building definately does not refer to the patron saint of animals. He cared about animals, not a markup of $174.00 for the same prescription for $13.33.

I had a most distasteful experience with the office manager and front desk staff who demanded payment over the phone the day after my dog died. I also felt the techs falsely represented my experience as I felt they were motivated by the $ and actually blamed my grief and told me they would not work with me when they disobeyed my verbal response. The GM actually hid in the back after he looked me in the eye and refused to help. I waited for the call that my dogs ashes were ready for pick up and never received a call. I finally went in 2 weeks later and they said -well we were waiting for you to pay. AFTER SEVERAL UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES THEY SPELLED HER NAME WRONG on the pawprint and papers. I will discontinue my business with this facility.

The vets and staff are nice and top notch, I never feel like they are pushing me out the door, and they go out of their way to answer questions thoroughly. I've also never felt they pushed expensive products or services. Definitely recommend.

Vet that saw was great, bill includes garbage fees for items that were not germane to my visit. Suspect ever bill has these fees, not for not the bill was excessive. This is top-notch care for your pets, but pragmatic as well. If there are procedures or shots or whatever that your pet doesn't actually need because their lifestyle puts them at minimal risk, then they will tailor recommendations that are right for your pet. You'll always get full information, but not be pressured to have every treatment.
