I made appointment before. I arrived on time. I sat and wait with my dogs for 30 mins. Nothing happen, then I left. Very disappointed .

Made my first visit to SRVC a few weeks ago. It was bright and clean w/ no bad odors like I have experienced elsewhere. Staff was efficient and friendly, wait time was minimal. Vet care for my dog was outstanding. They explained everything to me and addressed all of my questions. Excellent care all around!

I trust Dr. Baron with the health of my beloved old dogs. He always knows what to do; I've never felt that he's guessing and sending me out the door without any real answers, as I've felt with other vets. The courses of action he's recommended for our various complications have always been successful. We've always received call backs about questions in a timely manner, sometimes even at 7:00 pm when the doctors' workdays probably should be over! The only drawback with this clinic is that it so popular and sometimes difficult to get in, but they have been good about squeezing us in for emergencies. If you can wait, it is worth it to see Dr. Baron. He knows what he's doing.

Dr. Baron went above and beyond determining a diagnosis for my senior dog. He helped us through a terminal illness with sincere caring. It’s a special place. Look forward to the new place.

Dr Barron is amazing. He takes time to talk to you about your pets and explain things. He is willing to do as much or as little as you want to do. He is open to changing things instead of doing it the "way it's always been done" and gets compassionate with treatment, even for the fur babies. They do take your pet to the back and leave you in the room, but, my babies have never come out scared or panting like they have at other places. Team is great. The building is new and modern.

I called for a quote on mites. Allison quoted me $37 + cost of ear Rx. My Rx was $26 but my bill was $91. A tattooed tech who worked there called me a LIAR when I quoted Allison directly. I paid $71 and left. WORST experience in my entire Life. Buyer beware. Very disrespectful to a new client, or any client for that matter.

I still really like this clinic, the vets, the overall service, and the ability to get my pet on the schedule, but I have realized that some of the costs are higher than other vet clinics. The cost to spay my small 13lb puppy was more than twice as much as it would have been in California, and that was after opting out of all extras and then some. Talk about sticker shock...If I hadn't opted out, it would have been over three times as much, nearly $600 to spay a small breed puppy! I don't know if the pricing is similar around Little Rock, but it makes me think there's a reason there's so many strays, dumped puppies, and surrendered pets in Arkansas...basic care price structures need to be more reasonable for the general public. I will say a month prior I was able to get my mini pig fixed at another vet for under $200, and that was a pig, a more difficult animal to provide veterinary care to.

This place is amazing! I just bought two dogs and recently took them to this clinic for the first time. I was amazed at the professionalism and atmosphere! They also made me feel like I had always been a client of theirs even though it was my first visit! The building is unreal! VERY VERY clean. I have been to several vets in Little Rock. I took my 18 year old cat to Dr. Barron based on web-based recommendations and wish I had done it long ago. He discussed and identified health issues that my former vet missed (obvious things, too) and got her in for surgery that week. It was fast, affordable and compassionate care. The entire experience for me and my cat was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. I wish I had found this vet years ago. If you are doubting the care you are getting today, don't wait - call Dr. Barron and this clinic. I could not be more pleased!!

Dr. Barron is the best vet we’ve found here! He has provided excellent care for our dog, and their staff have always been happy to provide little ‘extras’, (like getting my dog to take his heartworm prevention pill last visit, when we couldn’t get him to cooperate at home), without charging us, and sends other tokens of good care each year on our pet’s birthday, such as free nail trimmings. The only reason I give four stars instead of five, is that we consistently have to wait well beyond our appt. time (30 mins and occasionally up to an hour) to be seen. Not great when you have a trembling puppy clawing you to death in fear, trying to stay as close under the neck as possible...Other than that, we are extremely happy with this clinic and it’s staff!

My one year old pup suddenly fell ill last night, my vet was unable to get me in this morning. After calling around SRVC made it possible to get my dog in immediately. The staff is very professional and polite. The Dr. worked with us on how much we were willing to spend while still providing the appropriate care. My baby is well on his way to feeling better. I plan to change them to my primary vet. Would HIGHLY recommend this location.

We were visiting from Dallas this weekend when my Toy Aussie got sick. He is up to date on all shots but stated foaming at the mouth, not eating, and hiding in his bed. We quickly got a recommendation to take him to SRVC. We arrived 9 minutes before closing. My sister assured me that they must treat an animal that enters before closing. The animal clinic turned my dog Mickey away.... and referred us to a much more expensive animal ER. We are furious to say the least. I do not recommend a vet clinic that values their precious clock out time above their patients.

She did this in front of everyone that was in the waiting room and this is very unprofessional, they could have done the decent thing and pulled her aside to talk to her. The is never a time when you need to embarrass someone in public. I will take my business someplace where they don't promote this kinda of bullying in the workplace.

Dr. Barron and his entire staff are our heroes. They saved our shih tzu (Gizzie's) life last Monday. I called on Monday morning and they were able to squeeze Gizzie in on Monday. Dr. Barron called to advise us that Gizzie had a 2lb mass attached to his spleen causing his symptoms. He was able to operate with in the hour and remove the mass and the spleen successfully. Dr. Barron kept us informed ever step of the way. Even calling us at 7:30 Monday night to give us an update. We received compassion and empathy from Dr. Barron and his entire staff. We are so glad we found Dr. Barron and Shackleford Road Veterinary Clinic.
