Prompt compassionate care by all the doctors there. No high pressure sales, honest and truthful to the owner of what their experience has been from past animals they have seen in similar circumstances. The doctors share knowledge with each other and you get three vets input when necessary. Extremely generous to rescue groups and willing to work with the Humane Society of the Ozarks and Spay Arkansas programs. Highly recommend.

Best staff ever! These people were amazing! Outstanding staff and outstanding care. I highly recommend them!!

Dr. Booth at Springdale Animal Hospital has been taking care of our fur babies for several years. She is personable, compassionate, and VERY knowledgeable. I'm glad I finally found a place where I am confident and comfortable taking my animals. I have a kitty with a heart murmur and I picked SAH and Dr. Booth to work on her because I trust them SO much. I love coming here because I know my babies will be well taken care of. The staff is very kind and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of whatever needs you have. Their prices are also VERY competitive, which I appreciate! I highly recommend them!

We called to get our dog in on a Saturday because she had taken a serious turn to the point where we thought she might not survive the weekend. Not only would they not see her but they told us to leave her there on the following Monday and they might be able to look at her. We ended up finding another vet that would see her only find out that she had some serious life threatening issues. The following Monday my wife called to have the records for our other two dogs transferred to the veterinary office that actually helped and the staff was extremely rude and actually hung up on her. We did have a good experience with Dr. Booth but unless you just like taking the chance of getting blown off when your pet really needs help, find another office. We've never seen such unprofessionalism and lack of empathy during and after a situation of this seriousness.

I love Springdale Animal Hospital. It's the only place in NWA I take my pets. The doctors and staff genuinely care about the health and well being of your fur baby! Everyone is very professional, informative(they do a great job of explaining what is going on...even if it's a complicated issue) and they help you make the best health decision for you and your pet. Don't pay attention to older posts on Google...The hospital has had a new owner for several years now, Dr. Carender, and she is great. I can't speak more highly about Dr. Booth and Dr. Overman as well...bedside manners are excellent. Bottom line: The staff at Springdale Animal Hospital, from top to bottom, will take good care of you and your best friend.

Came home from work to a dog with a swollen face with obvious pain when he tried to eat... called and they took him on for an appt even though they were fully booked and it was close to closing time. This dog is my family the fact that they were willing too see him shows me how much they truly care about the health of my fur baby. They have all my gratitude and thankfulness. Thank you so much for caring so much for the animals you treat. It means a lot!

Susan Greathouse

We have been going to the Springdale Animal Hospital for the past 4 years, and I have always been pleased with the attention the doctors give to each of my dogs. In addition, when I show up for an appointment, I am almost always shown to the room immediately.

Marie Maugrim

We've taken our pets here for years! All the doctors are so kind & friendly. The staff is very helpful, and well educated. They always answer every question I have, and even help me understand what is going on with my dogs. Our pets have seen each of the 3 doctors at the clinic - and I can't say enough about all 3 of them! I highly recommend them if you're looking for a veterinarian clinic that truly cares about you & your pets!

Our dog was vomiting and not eating so we took him to see Dr Betts, who diagnosed him with an ear infection ($180). We brought our dog home where he became even more sick over night. We rushed him in where they found a bowel blockage ($260 with no refund of the misdiagnoses and meds) and sent him home to monitor him and see if his blockage progressed and he died during the night. Poor service!!!!

After having a terrible ordeal at another local vet we chose to switch to Springdale Animal hospital after receiving several recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed. My boxer mix had a mass growing in her mouth, the former vets (we never seemed to see the same one twice!) said it was nothing and they were not concerned at all. After just one look, she was scheduled for a biopsy and x-rays of her jaw. Our worst fears were confirmed, it was cancer and if it would have been checked out sooner her prognosis would have been a lot better. But they did everything they could for her, and respected my wishes to not go through with chemo etc as in the end even they said probably would not have made much difference except extend her life a few months to a year. We still take all our other pets there and always are satisfied. We never wait more than 10 minutes (even when we are sometimes a little early). They always have great concern for our pets and are extremely affordable. I will not go any place else.

Karen Scottish

Great place to take your pet . I have recommended them to all my friends.

Fabulous Felines NWA uses SAH for our charity's vet clinic. They are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and do a great job caring for all kinds of cats we bring in needing extra care. We highly recommend them.

Theboringchef

Easily the best pet hospital around. The staff treats you and your pets like family. The wait is never long or it's immediate with a appointment. if you can't afford the medicine or treatment and they can still work with you. awesome business and wonderful professionals. I wouldn't pay attention to the older negative reviews. it's nothing like that. plus, how can you write a bad review but not put your name on it?

Over the years we have taken our pets to these guys and they are the best. We have had dogs spayed and neutered, cats spayed, and even one dog (our husky) went through heart worm treatment with them. We have never once felt pressured or pushed into making any decision or purchase. The staff have all been fantastic from all the techs, doctors, and even the front desk people seem to really know there stuff. We have been very well informed about the situation every time we have been there. I would highly recommend this veterinarian office to everyone.

We live in Rogers but it’s worth it to us to drive to Springdale to bring our fur baby here! The staff is so friendly and you can tell they really care about your pet. They are easy to reach and always helpful when I have questions. We had some issues with our pup where we had to take him to the emergency clinic but for about a week or two after that Springdale Animal Hospital would give me a call to check up on our pup and be there if I had any questions or concerns! I don’t think we could go to any other animal hospital!

Austin Efurd

Incredibly professional practice. Enthusiastic and engaged doctors and staff.

Love, love, love Springdale Animal Hospital. Had to go today to evaluate one of my girls for surgery and it is scheduled for next week. I have no worries about her going under anasthesia in Dr. Carender's care. It's so wonderful to have peace of mind when it comes to the care of my fur babies. Can't forget to mention my 2 Siamese cats too...they're old and cranky and when we were out of town my neighbor took one of the cats in to Dr. Carender because he was sneezing and she took care of him and he was good as new when we got home from Hawaii.

Raymond Peoples

These folks here at Springdale Animal Hospital took good care of my best friend all the way to the end. He was a Min Pin named Rocky. Now they are taking excellent care of my new adopted best friend Buddy. Thanks you all for your kindness.

Our dog Oakley has been seen by Springdale Animal Hospital from day one 2.5 years ago to unfortunately her last, Sunday 6/9/19. Due to low standard of care our girl had to suffer. We were out of town on our FIRST family vacation when we were notified that something wasn’t right and she has an open wound with pus coming out on her back and she could hardly walk. Immediately, I called our vet at Springdale Animal Hospital which was on a Saturday morning and had our care giver head to that way. The office said they could work her In at 9:30 but they close at noon so make sure we were not late. I was told when they got there a technician came out and carried her in right away. As soon as the vet walked in our caregiver called us so we could listen in. And 2 minutes later he was out of the room but not before he assured us that Oakley was fine and it wasn’t a big deal at all. He would start her on some oral antibiotics and oral pain meds and see her back in two weeks. Once he left the room they came to get Oakley so the wound could be shaved and “cleaned” I have a hard time believing it was properly cleaned as I was told after she passed it was cleaned with a Betadine flush however, after working in the medical field myself I know how that stuff stains and there was nothing stained on her and our care giver said it looked the same as it did when they brought her in other than her hair being shaved. Once they were finished our care giver called us back so we could pay over the phone which took three minutes, I only point this out because it took longer to pay than the vet took to do the exam. After we paid over the phone a tech put her on a leash and forced her to walk to the car. (She was very good on a leash and would walk right beside you with or without a leash however the vet tech had to partially drag her.) We were notified the following morning that she passed away in the night less than 24 hours after being told she was going to be perfectly fine and not to worry by a vet. We came home from our vacation 12 hours away to take care of her body and say our goodbyes. We took her in to an emergency clinic to have her cremated but first had the on duty vet give us his opinion. He told us that someone had obviously dropped the ball and as soon as she came in the door he would have ordered blood work and based off the blood work they would have at minimum started IV antibiotics and recommended she be admitted for a couple days. We weren’t given the option for ANY of this but instead assured she was fine. We’ve never had this type of experience here but this time it was a Saturday and they seemed more concerned about being pressed for time.

Stephanie Hutchins

Im very skeptical when it comes to my animals. I try to heal them without medicine if at all possible. However after switching numerous vets i really like how my fur baby is their main concern. i also love how they think about your wallet as well giving you an estimated amount so you and your pet can be happy!

Toyota - Jay

it's a shame to think that a difference of opinion in the care of my dog would bring out such immaturity in an owner. Don't ever question the care u get here. If u do it will be met with denial and simply passing the buck back onto the client. It's truly a shame. I cannot in good conscience send my friends here.

Nicole Collins

They have taken really good care of our two, now three pet cats. They are very kind and careful with the pets, the staff is all very friendly, and the facility is very well kept up. Our vet for life. :)

Judy Prog

I'm not impressed. Two surgeries on two different dogs and the focus was on what they could sell to me, not how the surgeries went - teeth cleaning supplies, raw hides, dog treats, etc... There are 3 Vet's who work here and I called today to make an appointment only to be told there is 1 Vet working this week and they are all booked up. How does a Vet turn away a patient who is throwing up for two days? Time to try a new Vet.

Karla Garcia

This is the first time I take him and to be honest I liked it a lot went to ask some questions and they answered everything.I'm going there from now on.

Life savers! My 16lbs dog got attacked by 2 Rottweilers and was badly hurt. The staff very professionally let me bring him in and took care of him right away. They gave me a prognosis and a worst case scenario invoice. Very fair and professional service overall! Thank you guys!

We absolutely appreciate Springdale Animal hospital for taking care of our Australian Shepherd after being neutered by "Spay Arkansas". The staff was super friendly, very responsive, answered all of my questions in a respectful manor, and took amazing, compassionate care of our fur-baby. We will be using this clinic for all of our veteranarian needs!

We love the staff and doctors at Springdale Animal Hospital! They are always able to help with our questions and concerns regrading our dog and our cat when she was still with us. We started going to the hospital when it was Wiggins Animal Hospital and the new staff has not missed a beat in the care for our pets.

We just came from our third and last visit. Each time we have seen a different vet at this office. The first two seemed genuinely concerned about helping our cat and about aiding us in providing for her needs financially. The third one we saw today, Dr. Deborah Overman, will NEVER touch any pet of ours again! She came across as heartless and uncaring and far more concerned about the MONEY than about our cat. She started out grabbing a sick adult cat with a huge abscess on her back leg by the scruff of the neck, rather than handling her in a more gentle manner. The two prior treatments and home care where we followed their instructions have failed to clear up the infection so we took her back a third time because the antibiotics were making her so sick the poor cat not only has a worse infection than ever but has lost over a pound since either of the first two visits because she can't eat. When I had called this morning I was told they could treat her with a held (post dated) check. I even told the person on the phone when that check would be able to be cashed (1 week from today) and there was no indication from the person on the phone this would be a problem. I wrote out a check for the agreed upon amount to start treatment and Dr. IWANTTHEMONEYNOW was okay with it in the exam room (apparently she only read the dollar amount). When we went to give the woman working the reception desk and Dr. IWANTTHEMONEYNOW realized the date she declined to treat our cat as previously agreed. So we took our cat and left after paying cash needed for gas and food for the week for the days visit which was a complete waste of our time and money. In my opinion Dr. Deborah Overman is not only a horrible vet but a horrible person who cares about nothing but dollar signs. Don't take your cat to this vet! I would give them zero stars but the review system does not give that option.

I took my dog to Springdale Animal Hospital because of a spider bite that occurred on 5/18 and caused a pretty big and nasty open wound. Over several days it went from swollen and fluid filled from under her front right leg down to her right foot. She started losing hair after 4-5 day of the bite. Tissue eventually started separating and she lost a big chunk which exposed her inner upper part of her right leg. It was horrible to look at. She had surgery on 6/1 which didn't really do much. I was told they would be able to close the top and loosen the tissue around the bottom area and try to close that as much as possible (there was more skin around the top area). They put in 3 stitches at the top and a few stitches that would dissolve on their own. 2 stitches came loose and they clipped the last stitch on 6/13. The entire wound went right back to the way it looked before surgery which I wasn't too happy about. I would of rather been told upfront about the different outcomes of the surgery and that way I could have decided what I wanted to do. I was so afraid of this wound and wasn't sure what was going to happen to my dog's leg that I just felt like I had to make a quick decision. I felt like it was more about money than letting me know all options and being able to decide something different. I say that because of a couple reasons but, one of them was after surgery they wanted to wrap the wound every day until her stitches came out and the charge was $36. I was not told of the charge until after the 2nd wrap. They added $52 to the balance and I asked what it was for and that is when I was told by the lady checking me out it was for the wrap. I was not happy at all. I told her I did not know that and thought the wrapping of the wound was part of the $350+ surgery. I told her I would not be returning for a $36 wrap everyday 6 days a week. The wrapping would have eventually cost as much as the surgery. I told her I would be changing her wrap each day. I went to purchase everything they had used on her. She's been isolated and kept inside since the day it happened. We've taken care of her around the clock each day. If she would have been in danger and surgery was the only option...I would have done surgery. It was a lessoned learned. I'm glad she's healing and getting better each day. We go back for the doctor to check it in about a week one last time and then that should be it. I do appreciate the lady that checked me out. I also hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else and that they are doing a much better job at explaining to pet owners... all their options. Make every procedure clear and not leave out information that you'll end up paying for. If pet owners hear all of the options and feel like they have a choice...the relationship between Vet and pet owner flow much better. If you feel like it seems to be all about the money...it doesn't give you a good feeling. I'm only speaking about MY experience...I'm sure others have had great experiences there.

I wish I had have read these other reviews about this clinic being about mostly MONEY, BEFORE I took my pet there, true in my opinion. My bad experience was with Deborah Overman. I was there for over an hour for a simple test. I made the appointment 2 wks ago. I was very clear in getting a price over the phone BEFORE I made the appt.. There were no extra treatments, but when I didn't want to buy their overpriced products (compared to their competitors) Mrs. Overman decided everything that was discussed over the phone was void. She was very abrupt, speaking over me & rolling her eyes. I got just a few words out. I just sat there & let her lecture me (pretty much why I need to buy their products or she will not honor what was said over the phone) After being there so long I was just ready to leave. It was very irritating to just pay & leave without what I was told I would receive. Maybe the other veterinarians are better.

I love Dr. Booth! I had my baby brought here after he was seen by another vet for what I thought was pink eye...he told me it was just something in it and gave me an antibiotic to clean it out? He had spots on his head and I was told they were allergies! Told to do nothing because he was so young let his immune system build. Next day I was told by a friend it was ringworm! Springdale is taking care of my baby now and he's on they way back to perfect health.

I brought my foster kitten here for an exam and blood work. The staff made me feel welcome and were amazing with Loki! I will continue to use them as long as I have animals! I love that I can access Loki's records online. Thank you for all you do!
