My "baby dog" and I love Doc and his staff. They love my Maggie just like I do, always gentle and sweet with her. They call and check on her if she has been sick or when she was attacked by a pitbull and almost died. Dr. Self was on vacation with his family out of state when it happened; he helped us get her to an emergency Vet and called to check on several times before they got back. I couldn't ask for better!

Dr. Brett Ziegenbalg has taken care of our aging Siamese cat for the last three years of her life. He was extremely competent and I would recommend him without any reservations. When we took our cat with us to spend this last winter in Florida, we had to call him with some concerns we had about what a Florida vet was recommending. He immediately answered our call and was a wonderful source of information. He didn’t charge us for this consultation. When we returned this spring (May 2013), it was regretfully, time to put our cat to sleep (she was almost 19 years old). He let us stay with the cat while he very humanely put her to sleep. A week after that, we received a sympathy card from his office. Each of his staff involved not only signed the card, each also wrote a nice short note about our cat. In short, this office is above and beyond any veterinarian office that I have personally been to. I highly recommend Dr. Z and his courteous staff. Whenever he saw or treated our cat, his examination was the most thorough. He always listened to our concerns and offered several options for treatment.

Such great people with a heart for animals, they came by yesterday 10/3/2019 to put one of my dogs down and the compassion they had was so gracious and kind. They give you plenty of time to be with your pet before, during and after the hardest choice you ever have to make for your pet.
