I usually dont right reviews but for North Hills Animal Clinic I will. I recently had to have my best friend and forever baby put down. From the moment I walked into the clinic with my baby to the point I had to watch her slip away, I could not have asked for a more supportive staff and Dr. They were all genuinely empathetic and truely dis their best to make this procedure as painless as they could. Then in mail a few days later I got a condolence card from the team at the clinic, signed with best wishes. They also took the time to send me paw print from my little girl. I'd you want a vet who will care and take their time, this is your place! Thank you guys so much.

Some of the staff is really friendly and caring. However the older lady working in the front was very rude to me and my dog. She does not know how to speak nicely to people. There was a situation where I brought a puppy I rescued, there to get help due to him having parvo. They were so overpriced and I could only afford to buy medicine from them which was still a lot. While I was there I attempted to make an appointment with her for my dog Arlo and she refused saying she had already shut the computer off. Therefor I had to call the next day to try to get my dog Arlo in to get a booster shot for Parvo. Arlo was never around the sick puppy and we always kept him inside. However I do understand that parvo is very contagious. Once again he did not have parvo and was not even exposed to it BUT the rude receptionist quickly assumed that he was “contagious” and VERY RUDELY she demanded me to not come inside the clinic and to stay in my car for them to come and give my dog the vaccine INSIDE MY CAR. That made me very upset however I would’ve done it if she wasn’t so rude about it. It’s all about attitude and the was you say things. If she were to say things nicely I would’ve understood (even though he wasn’t even around the sick puppy) I honestly understand where they were coming from as of caring for the other animals inside. However they should be more equipped for any other situations like this. If her tone of voice was a bit nicer MAYBE I would’ve allowed them to unprofessionally give Arlo a vaccine inside my car. But her rude attitude was very unprofessional and I will never recommend this place again. We found a much better clinic for Arlo.

We had to put our last dog to sleep due to her aggressive nature...a dog that I loved beyond words. It was one of the hardest pet decisions my family and I had to make. Every staff member was extremely kind, gentle, patient and understanding. They helped me understand that the decision, while not easy, was best for her and the safety of others. On that day, they allowed us to be with her to say goodbye and even when Fancy wanted to eat them alive, they were still very gentle with her. We now have a new dog and we would never consider using any other vet clinic.

This place is great. I rescued my dog and took him there for his 1st vet appointment and they were so patient with him. He a shy little thing but they all took the time to come and give him some loving!! Dr. Campbell is so patient and is really good at explaining things. They are all so compassionate and sincerely a great team of professionals. You will never leave without knowing exactly what is going on with your baby. I am new to the area and was nervous about finding a good vet. I went to North Hills because my coworker said she was happy with the team. I am so glad I listened. The vet Dr. Hope was awesome and caring. My dog is a Nervous Nelly when she goes to the vet (she is a rescue that was left in a vets office for multiple weeks) and Dr. Hope noticed this and allowed me to hold my dog while she examined her. The vet and her vet tech were both friendly and knowledgeable! I asked for a quote on a dental and they gave me a detailed write-up for what I could expect. The vet also took my concerns and thoughts into consideration which is very much appreciated. The front office staff was a great team of ladies, very friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend this vet. I met a man in the waiting room who said he had been taking his pets there for years and that they are fantastic, said he never had a bad experience with them. I am so pleased to know my baby will be well cared for in their estabishment.

Dr. Hope met us and diagnosed my dog with a potentially life threatening illness all in a 48 hour period. She always returns calls and makes you feel comfortable to call with as many questions as you want to. She is always willing to help. She even told me when I was going out of the country to have my dad call her anytime if he had questions about my dog’s care. Truly a great place.

Have always loved the care our babies have received here, however we had an issue today with our bill and the receptionist was downright rude and condescending. I brought my elder lab in for her annual examination back in November. At that time, she had an issue with her eye and was not given her vaccinations. When we left we paid our $300 bill. Upon leaving I asked how much our bill would be for her vaccinations, and I was told $95. Brought her in today and was charged $195 for vaccinations. I had to question this and the receptionist was absolutely rude and didn’t not want to explain what I was being charged extra for. I told her that last time I was in I was quoted for $95. She told me since I didn’t get it in writing that they could not honor the quote and payment had to be made in full today. So I was charged on both visits for a wellness exam. I tried to use my American express and she rudely told me that they didn’t take those cards. I told her that I did not have that much in my debit card and would have to use the credit card. She went to speak to her manager and when she came back she told me that I would be allowed to use the card just this once and never again. I’m very upset at the treatment we received and unless it’s made right, we will be finding another vet. We had been using this place for about three years and driving in from Conway. This whole experience was completely ridiculous.

It was so sad and heart breaking but everyone with the staff made us feel so comforted and made sure Munchies had the most respect and dignity while leaving us. I take my dog there at least twice a week there for puppy day care. Tires himself out since we dont have a backyard for him to run around in. Very caring group of techs and receptionists. I wish I could give you a NEGATIVE star b/c that's what you deserve. My daughter rescued some doggies off the street and brought them in and one of them got really sick and caught parvo. You all tried to charge her $1000 to help the dog. Later she brought her dog Arlo to get shot for parvo, which she brought in before but NEVER did you all say he needed it. The receptionist was VERY RUDE and asked that we stay in the car and they administer the shot in the car. Very unprofessional and not equipped to treat animals. Arlo DID NOT HAVE PARVO! He was taken to a different clinic and treated so much better. Would never bring my sweet animals here again!!!

Upon arrival for our first scheduled appointment a staff member was seated at her computer and said she would be with me in a moment. After about two minutes she nonchalantly passed me off to another staff member so she could place a food order. OK. Next the second front desk staff member proceeds to tell me that we did not have an appointment. I recited the telephone number and verified that the 3 min 30 sec conversation I had the previous day was, in fact, with a staff member at the facility. During check up and consultation for my kittens declaw I am told that they like to do declaw procedures on kittens younger but he's not too old(he's seven months). The only thing is he would have to consult with the other vet that is actually doing the procedure to make sure she is comfortable with removing the back claws as well... two days later we get the green light to schedule the surgery. I take my kitten to the facility at 7am for the procedure and was called at 9am to come get him because he didn't weigh enough (3.7lbs), which contradicts what I was told initially by the vet three days earlier. Was my kittens weight not charted? Did the two doctors even talk to each other? Two stars because the facility was clean and comfortable however, any healthcare facility that doesn't properly chart vital signs or employs staff that negates them is not safe, especially for my Drake.

Best vet clinic ever! I have taken my very dearly beloved senior dog to many other clinics closer to my home, only to have problems and disappointing visits. Everyone at this clinic has exceeded my expectations! Dr. Campbell took the time to pet my dog and hold him before examining him to calm his major anxiety and explained everything in full detail. He didn’t do any unnecessary testing, did one thing at a time. The front desk staff was nice and the vet tech was very sweet and knowledgeable! They even have a kids play area in the waiting room! Clean exam rooms, I just can’t say enough good things about this clinic! Definitely worth the drive for us and will never go anywhere else again!

My fur baby, Diesel has been taken care of to the highest degree from his regular check up appointments to a significant surgery last year. They recognize, honor, and share the love we humans have for our pets. Dr. Campbell is so kind and patient. He really takes his time to listen to what you have to say about whatever is going on with your pet, and then he takes the time to respond to you. He is wonderful in explaining his medical assessments in ways that can be easily understood. I never feel that he is in a hurry or that I am being overly anxious about my baby. My dog was removed from my supervision and kept for cover 3 hours despite repeated requests that she be brought to me or I to her. I was informed that the clinic does not allow owners to accompany their pets. I was not consulted as to what course of action might be best for my pet. After almost 4 hours, repeated requests, and finally a threat of legal action, I was given my pet, her diagnosis, a bag full of medicine and a bill. The stress I felt was uncalled for and completely avoidable. The lack of interaction with the vet is quite bizarre.

They told me of the treatment options we had and worked with me to make him happy and comfortable until the time came. When it did six months later they were incredibly compassionate and loving.
