My pets and I love Newport Animal Hospital! The staff treats my fur babies like family every time we come in. They know them by name, and shower them with affection at every chance. I have always been so happy with the doctors there. They always take plenty of time to answer all my questions, and whenever something has been wrong with one of by pets they will call and check on them and make sure everything is going well. The hospital offers every service you could think of, and they are so thorough. I recommend them to anyone with a pet!

Best vet clinic I've ever been to. Every vet was extremely knowledgeable and very caring-a great mixture. I come up from FL for summer and was a great relief to find this place as both my rescue doxies were sick over summer. Can't say enough good things about the entire staff.

We've been to the vet here twice so far for routine vaccinations and they've always been very sweet and loving to my dog. We moved to the area recently and there were a handful of different shots we needed that we hadn't before, and they took the time to explain each one, which ones were optional, etc. I hope we only ever have to use the animal hospital for routine visits like this but I'm confident they'd be able to handle emergency care in a similarly straightforward way.

Was told by an employee that we would not be charged a recheck fee and that the boosters for vaccines were cheaper then initial shot. This information was false. They refused to credit the recheck exam fee of $42 after telling us we would not be charged. Never going back.

Doesn't even deserve a one star rating. In my opinion this so called vet needs to find a new line of work. There has been on more than one occasion that I have called the emergency after hours and never got an answer or call back. Only get voice mail.

The Dr wuz very informative and compassionate. He listened to me and together we came up with the best plan that would work for us. I can't tell u how much I appreciate it. The vets here treat all of my pets like family. Dr. Phan has cared for my large breed dogs for several years now and Dr. Wood cared for our cat. They are both amazing doctors that have seen my pets through illness and emergencies with such love. The entire staff in both the clinic and boarding facility are incredible.

The veterinarians and staff are kind, caring and sensitive . One is not rushed. Options are presented as well as diagnostic tests, outcomes and skilled assessment based on labs and imaging. I drive here from South of Boston as this practice is So outstanding. X rays are shared and explained. The vets were caring and sensitive when my sheltie passed from cancer.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Wirth. He is experienced and knowledgeable as well having good bedside manner. My experiences with Dr Phan however were not as informative and I found her quite rude.

While I have no complaint about the care of my dogs, like other reviewers, I found the charges to be exorbitant. That, however, is not my chief complaint. My problem is that one of their veterinarians had zero respect for confidentiality. I find this to be shocking and unpardonable for a doctor of any speciality.
