Very expensive. I found out from another facility that my 15 year old furbaby, who stays inside except to potty and an enlarged heart, did not need the $300 worth of vaccines they had me to get. Each time I get his meds they are more expensive than the last. Our new pet will not be a patient here.

Jonesboro Family Pet is the best veterinary office we've been to not just in Jonesboro, but in Arkansas. When we moved to Jonesboro, we started off at a different office per the suggestion of a friend, and the doctor was horrible! He seemed to have little to no regard for the pets, almost like he didn't even like animals. When we went to Jonesboro Family Pet, they treated our pets like their own and with the greatest care. They even gave our cat a heated towel while we waited for the vet! And they were accommodating to us owners as well. 10/10, highly recommend for all your furbabies needs.

If you want the best for your pet this is the place to be! They are there for your fur baby any time ay or night with the best care you can get! I have used the founding veterinarians here since way prior to the pet hospital here in Jonesboro and I have never gotten anything but top of the line service. And yes without an appointment you may have to wait a little extra - but you will be glad you did and so will your fur babies!

We took our young African Grey to Dr Erin Avian vet at Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital. She gave our bird a complete health check up and was helpful and knowledgeable. My baby Penelope had surgery last week and Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital took excellent care of her. Dr. Strickland saved her life, and I will always be grateful to him for that. When I picked my sweet girl up the day following her surgery, she was already feeling better and more active than she had been before her operation. They called the first two days after she came home to check on her and see how she was feeling and find out how her recovery is coming along. 10/10 I would recommend them again!

This office is open on Saturday until 5. There is an on call veterinarian. They even offer dog treats and soda while you wait. My experience here was wonderful. My poor puppy was sick and I was afraid I wouldn't find a place I could bring him in to be looked at. The only down side is it seemed pricy compared to other places.

I am so glad we chose this vet recently. We had been to a few others in town through the years and I was never 100% comfortable with them. Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital is different, though. Everyone is so warm and welcoming! They come out to you in the waiting area to take information, offered refreshments, and really treated each patient as if they were the only one there. And the sassy parrot in the waiting area is a nice change lol

I had just arrived home from Colorado, my wonderful sidekick of 16 years was having severe problems all of a sudden, on Sunday 28 January 2018, they opened up for her and took her in, it cost me around 750$. Total. My girl SASSIE DIED the next morning, 29 January 2018. It was the most helpless feeling. It still bothers me how sudden it was. The Staff and the Veterinarian all went above and beyond to comfort her and did so with respect. I had just arrived home from Colorado, my wonderful sidekick of 16 years was having severe problems all of a sudden, on Sunday 28 January 2018, they opened up for her and took her in, it cost me around 750$. I have used this office for over 10 years. We have seen several of the doctors and techs. The office staff is always so friendly and helpful. I thought for a while that they were worth the price. After all you get what you pay for right. Well I started to notice that corners were being cut. My dog chews everything and has broken and missing teeth but if you look at His records he had perfect teeth. The last i dropped off both dogs and expressed concerns about arthritis and pain in my older dog. So it is noted on the top of his chart. Well when picked up the dogs I paid the huge bill and told myself they were well cared for. You don't get the break down of the bill or the chart until after you pay when combine boarding and exams. So when I really sat and read the chart it said his teeth are great, 0 pain level, no signs of arthritis or muscle issues. The dog is limping. Well I called to question this and the office staff was great understood my concerns. I ended up having to talk to an administrator who told me my dog was anxious. So the doctor did the best they could. So instead of noting my dog was not cooperating they marked that he was totally healthy. I was offered a free exam to "make things right" this exam turned into a request for hundreds of dollars in tests and teeth cleaning to see if they could figure out what is going on. I will not ever used this vet again.

My Dog, Sammy, was very sick this past week and I called his regular vet for help, they never did call me to check on their regular patient, Sammy. I called Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital and talked to Brittany and she called the Doctor to see what he wanted to do. Dr. Guntharp called me back within 5 minutes and told me to meet him at his office in 30 minutes. He has taken very good care of Sammy and has gained a new customer. He or one of his staff members has called me twice daily for the last 3 days with updates on Sammy which makes me feel like they really care for their patients.

They saved the life on 2 of our cats, and helped break the news that one of our babies has FIV. Also helped explain that even though it COULD cause problems later in life doesn't mean it WILL. All our babies are great and healthy. Any time our kitties have had to stay over night they always keep me updated and send me pics I text messages!! I love these people!!! They really do care about not only their pet clients but their human clients too!!

i have been coming here for 5 years now and over the years i received great service. during my last two appointments, i was asked if i wanted to go ahead and include a physical with the appointment and i told them no because i did not have the money at the time, but they included the physical anyway. i took my dog elsewhere to have him neutered because it was cheaper, and i asked them if they could tell me what was wrong with my dogs eyes and the vet said that he had cataracts and was going partially blind. JFPH has always said that his eyes looked healthy, so i feel like spending $150 on a physical is pointless if they will not take the time to actually look at the animal.

I could tell you about how everyone there is a true animal lover; I could go on about how well we were treated during our first visit. But instead, I am going right to the crux of what we all want: the best service for your dollar you could hope for. We have an 8 week old registered sheltie that ate rat poison. We called the after hours number and talked to the answering service. They said we would have to pay a $25 fee because we were not current clients, which we agreed to. The on call Dr. called us back with 2 minutes, was very professional, calmed our fears and told us to bring the puppy in first thing in the morning, which we did. We were taken back to an examining room almost immediately, had two techs and a doctor treat us and our puppy like we were rock stars. We figured we were looking at least a $200 bill. Total after a blood test, exam, and medicine was $95 dollars, and they waived the $25 dollar consultation fee from the previous night. We are now extremely satisfied soon to be long term clients, and we highly recommend them to everyone who asks us about the visit.

JFPH has always said that his eyes looked healthy, so i feel like spending $150 on a physical is pointless if they will not take the time to actually look at the animal.

The Dr.'s call me every morning to give an update and then again at the end of the day for a final update. The patient care coordinator, Candace makes sure to keep me updated throughout the day and even sends me pictures of my baby. I could not ask for a better place to care for my furbabies. I could tell you about how everyone there is a true animal lover; I could go on about how well we were treated during our first visit. But instead, I am going right to the crux of what we all want: the best service for your dollar you could hope for. We have an 8 week old registered sheltie that ate rat poison. We called the after hours number and talked to the answering service. They said we would have to pay a $25 fee because we were not current clients, which we agreed to. The on call Dr. called us back with 2 minutes, was very professional, calmed our fears and told us to bring the puppy in first thing in the morning, which we did. We were taken back to an examining room almost immediately, had two techs and a doctor treat us and our puppy like we were rock stars. We figured we were looking at least a $200 bill. Total after a blood test, exam, and medicine was $95 dollars, and they waived the $25 dollar consultation fee from the previous night. We are now extremely satisfied soon to be long term clients, and we highly recommend them to everyone who asks us about the visit.

My experience this week with Max's visit with Dr. Rogers on Tuesday could not have gone any better, especially since we had to be worked in. Also, when I had to call on Thursday to get the antibiotic changed because he could not tolerate the first one, both the office staff and Dr. Barnes took care of Max's needs ASAP. Even though we moved to Memphis in 2012, I still bring him to JFPH because I love the attention and wonderful care that Max receives that is so unique to JFPH.
