Dr. Cyphers has a gentle demeanor that my dog really responds to. Summer does a great job with grooming. My dog was hit by a car last year--they took such good care of her and provided calm for me in a very scary time. I could not have asked for a better veterinary family for my best friend!!

Took my cat there for the first time for worms and a health check up. Was a little nervous, since it was my first time owning a cat and have heard more horror stories than good stories about vets. My boyfriend and I checked out their reviews and got a recommendation from a coworker who took their cat there - all wonderful things. Got their 10-15mins before my appointment and got me straight into a room. Filled out the forms while Meggy coaxed Belle out of her kennel. She was so kind and loving to her. My cat is a rescue and is a little skittish around new people. Dr. Cyphers and her assistant, Meggy, were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to our little Belle. They were so gentle and sweet with her. Even when she tried hiding from them, they would talk and pet her before trying to pick her up. They also gave us lots a good information as first time cat owners like dietary recommendations and flea/tick prevention. On top of that, the price of this visit was very reasonable for a checkup, 2 different medicines, and health information/samples. Will defiantly be coming to them for her vaccinations. Thank you so much for helping my kitty feel better :)

I honestly could write a book about how much I love this vet clinic. I first took my cat here when I moved to Fayetteville over 3 years ago because of chronic limping and social withdrawal/anxiety. My vet back home said it was just an injury that would heal on its own and to give it time. After 1 year he wasn't much better and had gotten worse by that point so I took him to Dr. Cyphers and she took an x-ray (unlike the other vet) and found that he had a serious hip problem. It required surgery and she did everything she could for him. He's now the most socially extroverted cat and you wouldn't even think he was the same cat. Dr. Cyphers has also provided amazing treatment for my dog who recently has dealt with some bad back issues. The staff is always so friendly and kind. I trust them way more than my own doctor. If you need an excellent place to take your fur babies, I would HIGHLY recommend taking them here. Amazing vet and staff as well as reasonable pricing.

I have never been a pet mama before, but we recently added a puppy to our family! I went to google to search reviews for best vets around town and found Family Pets Vet Care. Our relationship started one late evening (and several more days and evenings after that initial one) with so many questions! And to my surprise, they got back with me rather quickly, like within the hour at 11 at night! They never told me to make an appt to get questions answered or seemed annoyed, they just answered and told me if I had any other questions don't hesitate to contact them (and I did, a new pet mama to what we thought was a 8wk old, was really only 4-5wks!). We made an appt with them and went in, the nicest people I have met around here! They genuinely care about your pets, they are gentle and really nice. I highly recommend them to anyone around here! You will NOT be disappointed!

Today, we called with an emergency and they couldn't have been more gracious. They were completely booked and it was going to be our first official visit, but hearing our concerns they found a way to squeeze us in early. Morgan and Meggy couldn't have been more helpful. We had to leave Benny (our dog) with them for tests. So, Dr. Viki and the team ended up taking care of him the entire day. We picked him up just as they were closing and since it was right before the weekend Dr. Viki went ahead and prepared an Emergency Transfer Form for us just in case anything took a turn for the worse over the weekend. Thankfully, Benny seems to be already doing a lot better. We have now found our new vet!

Little Oswald, my sweet pug, had surgery on his foot to remove a cyst. This is not the first time I have gone in, and what I love about this place is that they get to the "root" of why something is happening, rather than just throw drugs at your animal as a first resort, they give drugs as a last resort. Oswald is doing so much better! This place cares, and that is half the battle! The other half is finding someone with expert knowledge and they have that too. I love love love this place. Great vet who has a very calming influence on people and animals. Dr Vicky is a gem and her staff are as well.

This vet is an EXCELLENT choice...Dr. Cyphers absolutely and most definitely saved my cat's life--brought her back from the dead even. Here's my story: Maggie, my 5 year old rescue cat, was lethargic and stopped eating. I took her into Stanton Animal Hospital where they tested her and told me that she'd eaten something poisonous and there was a 30% chance that she'd survive. For 4 days straight they pumped her with fluids until she looked like she was about to pop. At some point during her back and forth to Stanton, she came down with a bronchial infection and started breathing with her mouth open. Finally, they told me that while her alarming numbers had gone down, she was probably going to die anyways, "because she was old." They sent me home with her and told me to try to force feed her. I went to Family Pet for a second opinion. Dr. Cyphers fit me in right away and began an antiobiotic and antidieuretic course of action along with acupuncture. Maggie responded slowly and we weren't sure if she was going to pull through. A few days later we planned for Dr. Cyphers to come to the house and most likely put Maggie to sleep. We decided to try acupuncture as a final resort. Maggie leaped up from where she was lying on a chair, walked across the room, and slept on the couch for about 24 hours straight. She made a FULL RECOVERY. It was like Lazarus rising from the dead. This woman is not only a miracle worker, she is kind, very specific, and cares deeply about both pet and owner. I would recommend her to anyone anywhere and I will never return to Stanton Animal Hospital ever again.

Today, we called with an emergency and they couldn't have been more gracious. They were completely booked and it was going to be our first official visit, but hearing our concerns they found a way to squeeze us in early. Morgan and Meggy couldn't have been more helpful. We had to leave Benny (our dog) with them for tests. So, Dr. Viki and the team ended up taking care of him the entire day. We picked him up just as they were closing and since it was right before the weekend Dr. Viki went ahead and prepared an Emergency Transfer Form for us just in case anything took a turn for the worse over the weekend. Little Oswald, my sweet pug, had surgery on his foot to remove a cyst. This is not the first time I have gone in, and what I love about this place is that they get to the "root" of why something is happening, rather than just throw drugs at your animal as a first resort, they give drugs as a last resort. Oswald is doing so much better! This place cares, and that is half the battle! The other half is finding someone with expert knowledge and they have that too. I love love love this place. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Sad excuse for "holistic treatment." Brought my dog in for heartworm treatment and a fungal infection. For the fungus, Dr. Cyphers recommended athlete's foot cream from any drug store. A potent antibacterial herb, such as oregano oil, could've been recommended. Instead it's suggested I use toxic chemicals such as miconazole nitrate, clotrimazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine hydrochloride, butenafine hydrochloride and undecylenic acid. This is not what I expected from someone who practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Cyphers did provide heartworm treatment for my dog. I wanted my kitten treated as well, so I made the faulty decision to return. My appointment was made for 9AM. I show up at 8:50 AM. Lights on, doors locked. I called two times and no one answered. Pathetic. I turned around and never looked back.

I have an older dachshund who is prone to back problems. I recently had an out of town trip planned and was planning on taking my dog. On the day I was leaving Oscar had a severe problem with his back. I was able to get him in at Family Pets Veterinary Care and they took fantastic care of him. The vet examined him and determined where he was hurting. She then prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxants and within a couple of hours Oscar was ready to travel. Oscar, being an older dog, has several ailments. The vet, while recognizing the conditions, did not pressure me to have him treated for them. She did not try to push dental treatment or back surgery. I certainly appreciated the treatment she gave Oscar and she will be his doctor from now on.

My dog got into some carpet and his eye has been messed up since. I took him to the vet twice at 100/visit and was told there's nothing in his eye and it's allergies and if it doesn't clear up he will need surgery for his eyelashes! Today I took him to a new vet and his cornea is scratched, infection behind his eye, and a yeast infection in his ear that should have been detected by the previous 2 visits. So now he's got ear wash, pain meds, and 2 eye drops that he needs. I'm confident he will get better now. Do not take your animals to family pets vet. They are incompetent!

I had an emergency in which my pet consumed something potentially toxic and family pets treated her immediately. The vet gave me her personal cell phone number in case anything happened to my dog overnight. I've used Family Pets Veterinary Clinic every since they opened and Ms. Vicky even came in one Sunday when my dog Curly was mauled my the neighbors dog. She didn't even hesitate when her secretary my granddaughter called her. Even when my Curly was sick she was there for her. She has always taken great care with my Curly even clipping her nails when needed. She and Morgan both have a soothing voice and manner that puts animals at ease. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Sad excuse for "holistic treatment." Brought my dog in for heartworm treatment and a fungal infection. For the fungus, Dr. Cyphers recommended athlete's foot cream from any drug store. A potent antibacterial herb, such as oregano oil, could've been recommended. Instead it's suggested I use toxic chemicals such as miconazole nitrate, clotrimazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine hydrochloride, butenafine hydrochloride and undecylenic acid. This is not what I expected from someone who practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Cyphers did provide heartworm treatment for my dog. I wanted my kitten treated as well, so I made the faulty decision to return. My appointment was made for 9AM. I show up at 8:50 AM. Lights on, doors locked. I called two times and no one answered. Pathetic. I turned around and never looked back.

I have an older dachshund who is prone to back problems. I recently had an out of town trip planned and was planning on taking my dog. On the day I was leaving Oscar had a severe problem with his back. I was able to get him in at Family Pets Veterinary Care and they took fantastic care of him. The vet examined him and determined where he was hurting. She then prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxants and within a couple of hours Oscar was ready to travel. Oscar, being an older dog, has several ailments. The vet, while recognizing the conditions, did not pressure me to have him treated for them. She did not try to push dental treatment or back surgery. I certainly appreciated the treatment she gave Oscar and she will be his doctor from now on.

My dog got into some carpet and his eye has been messed up since. I took him to the vet twice at 100/visit and was told there's nothing in his eye and it's allergies and if it doesn't clear up he will need surgery for his eyelashes! Today I took him to a new vet and his cornea is scratched, infection behind his eye, and a yeast infection in his ear that should have been detected by the previous 2 visits. So now he's got ear wash, pain meds, and 2 eye drops that he needs. I'm confident he will get better now. Do not take your animals to family pets vet. They are incompetent!

Family Pets is the best vet I've used in town, and I've used a few of them. They treat my pets kindly and gently, and have helped us diagnose issues that other vets have ignored. I had an emergency in which my pet consumed something potentially toxic and family pets treated her immediately. They had me bring her back for observation the following day where they trimmed her nails and fed her lunch. The vet gave me her personal cell phone number in case anything happened to my dog overnight. I always feel confident leaving my pets in their care, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care.

I took my goldendoodle in for his first groom and it was a great experience. He was clean, fluffy and SOOO soft! She trimmed him in all the right places and also did his nails and teeth. He went first that morning so it only took about an hour and she let me know as soon as they were finished so I could come pick him up. I highly recommend taking your puppy in to be groomed not only for the experience but they also offer a discount for puppies up to 6 months old.

If I could rate lower I would. I took my dog here and as soon as the vet came into the back room she just instantly told me my dog has maybe 1 month to live, without running any test or examining her just flat out told me 1 month left. Then she decides to run some x Ray's and says she has a tumor and its inoperable and it's for sure one month or maybe even less. So I decided to take my dog home and give her the best 1 month a dog can experience. We are now going on 6 months with my fur baby who is still alive and living her best life with no issues and happy as can be. Even though the staff is friendly. I still wouldn't take my animal here. I can't believe a vet would just drop a boom and say an animal had one month to love without any examination or test being done, I thought this was very unprofessional.

I've been taking my two small dogs to Dr. Cyphers' clinic for several years now. The quality of care and personal attention to my dogs is great! One of my dogs has had to have two knee surgeries because of a congenital issue that made her prone to patellar luxation. She also had to have hip surgery. All of these procedures were done by Dr. Cyphers with outstanding results and improvements to my dog's health. Dr. Cyphers took such great care of her and kept us up to date with pictures during her first surgery when she kept her overnight for observation. The other two times she didn't need to be observed over night. My smallest dog does not like strange people and makes it difficult for any veterinarian to take care of her. Dr. Cyphers and her staff are very patient and gracious and accommodate my little one's antics. I feel that my dog couldn't be better taken care of anywhere else. I highly recommend this place. They are very knowledgeable as veterinarians and also very compassionate and attentive.
