I take my special needs Amazon parrot to EDAH for routine visits. The staff at EDAH is friendly and loves all the animals. EDAH does not have an avian certified vet on staff (it is because of this they get 4 stars and not 5) BUT Dr. Casey and the team see a lot of local birds and have been really good with mine. One of the things we like best is that they offer boarding and we use it for days when something is going on at the house that might not be good for the bird like spraying for insects or carpet cleaning. We drop her off first thing in the morning and pick her up just before closing. Cost is quite reasonable and she comes back happy and unstressed.

Highly recommend this vet. I had a little emergency with my senior pug of 14 years. It was 5:30 on a Friday afternoon and I was here from Austin, TX...They kindly took my pup in got her fixed up and spent time with me talking medicine and care for my pup. When we were visiting Eldorado Dr Mitchell saw our dog with sudden weakness symptoms. Our beloved 12 yr old Golden Retriever was suffering from internal bleeding caused by a burst tumor on the spleen. Dr Mitchell performed immediate surgery and saved his life. Sadly the lab analysis on the removed spleen showed cancerous tumors throughout. Our local vet removed the surgical staples and said it was excellent surgical skill. She confirmed our dog would not live long but Dr Mitchell’s quick surgery gave us more than 4 months of fun with our sweet boy. We talked with Dr Mitchell by phone when our dog suddenly got weak again this week. So kind and concerned. Took our dog to our local vet who confirmed it was time. So sad to say goodbye but we can’t thank Dr Mitchell and staff enough for their kind, competent and thorough care of our sweet boy. Highly recommend this vet and his hospital.

Words can not explain. The employees are absolutely the most loving and kind hearted people. Even the Vet. He stayed with me and explained every detail and answered every question I had. I unfortunately had to choose to have my Nellie put to sleep. I cried and so did they. She was cremated and 2 weeks later I picked her up. I tried to be strong but nope . I wish I knew her name, but she stopped what she was doing and insisted walking me to my car. If I could ever get another dog, they definitely have my business. Their the best!
