We're new in town and chose Chenal Valley based solely on its location. I have a big crazy looking bulldog (Rocco) and he was loved on so much, especially by Dr. Miller. She was amazing with him and I could tell that she genuinely liked him by the way she touched and talked to him. When I told Dr. Miller I'd have to wait until next month for heart worm pills due to finances she offered free samples and told me to come get more if I needed to until we had enough money. And when she heard that we were new to town she spent an extra 10 minutes getting the info on his current chip so that I could update our location with them. I never would have thought of that. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed like they liked their jobs...which is something that's hard to find these days. The clinic was immaculate and decorated beautifully. We will definitely be returning there.

I had the pleasure of living in Maumelle, AR and the greater pleasure of choosing Chenal Valley Animal Hospital to care for my dog. From A to Z they are 10 stars. From the front desk staff to the groomers to the veterinarians, they are tip-top, cream of the crop. I saw reviews that mentioned the cost & if I may say, "everyone wants to drive a nice car but not have to pay the insurance or the cost of an oil change." Example, the cost of a Ferrari oil change is between $500 - $1,100. My dog is my pride and joy (my prerogative). If you prefer first class service in all aspects of pet care, this is the place for you. No matter who you deal with, you won't be disappointed, they are all great. I was blessed to have Chrissy as a groomer for my pride and joy and she is "amazing." Don't get your hopes up and don't be disappointed if you cannot get her, the other groomers are great but I was blessed to get Chrissy a long time ago. (It may help if you mention my name, but no guarantees) she only has so much time in a day.

I give Chrissy 5 stars for grooming. She's the best but had terrible experience with staff especially front desk help. Candy is very unpleasant and unprofessional and made so mistakes on my records and never could get it straightened out even after discussing it with vet. I really liked dr Kim but do not like her help especially candy. Last day there I literally walked out and never went back because of Candy so I have to give it 3 stars because service sucks but great drs and groomers. Plus they're higher than other vets so I found one in same area with reasonable prices, great drs including receptionist who is so much more pleasant and professional than candy and has better bedside Manners. For a swanky vet in a swanky neighborhood you think they had someone running front desk with better manners and professionalism definitely who isn't so rude for all the uppity people. I guess it's hard to get good help anymore.

I've been a long term customer with my "kids", but will always be in their debt, as they took great care of one of my boxers as she was having multiple issues towards end of her short life...called and kept in contact even after hours and did whatever they could to help ease my pain after her passing. They are great with all three of my current boxers, reminding me of visits that are needed and never doing unneeded tests, etc. The entire staff is wonderful and makes you feel welcome and part of the family! I trust no one else but this team of experts.

She kindly saw my children and me through having to put down our 14 year old shepherd, Daisy, who Dr Miller knew well. I would not have had anyone else in that painful moment. She is amazing and genuinely cares for animals. I have other vet clinics and boarding close to me, but I rather drive the extra distance for her. I have only met great staff at this clinic.

We have 2 dogs that visit here often!! We've had only 1 emergency visit thankfully, but the staff and whole experience was great! When we have to board our dogs, this is definitely the place we go to EVERY time! We have 1 "problem child" that doesn't get along well with other animals and their staff is the ONLY place in Little Rock that has taken the time to work with him and figure out what works for him while he's there! He's never anxious or wound up when we pick him up like at previous places! It makes me feel good that the staff knows and remembers our dogs every time they come in and they greet them so lovingly!! I have recommended them to friends in the past and will continue to do so, they are AWESOME!

IF YOU LOVE YOU PET, DO NOT USE THIS VET!!! After over $800 and 3 visits in a month, we picked up our 3 year old dog with a diagnosis of "We don't know"...The only interest anyone in this building is in collecting money, not about truly caring for your animals!! Because they offered "discounted services", they essentially washed their hands of treating our dog, after doing nothing to solve his problem nor help him heal, and could care less that he is on the verge of death. Dr Smith was very nice but obviously incompetent or uncaring to not follow through with my dogs are to find a solution. And to top it off, you have to encounter Candy Smith, who clearly should not be allowed to interact with the public as she is horribly rude and so socially challenged she offers no concern about the animals nor owners.....The worst part is that my wife is heavily involved with the local shelters and animals in general and has referred many clients to this hell hole and has been trying to call them to ensure they don't continue to go there for fear it will ruin her reputation as their facility is so awful! Filing complaints with the state as it is that terrible....DO NOT RISK YOUR PETS LIFE AND STAY AWAY!!

The Dr. sat on the floor with me while I discussed my terrible veterinary experiences to date, Kingsley in arms, and helped me create a plan that would save his life. It WORKED. They found a facility that made a rare concoction on medication that cured him within a year! I will not go anywhere else, ever again. They care. They try everything. We love Chenal Valley Animal Hospital! I looked long and hard for a place to board my dog. Chenal Valley Animal Hospital was by far the nicest and cleanest place we visited on our search. Our dog takes off like a bolt of lightning if given the opportunity, so we were looking for a place that was secure and she would not have an opportunity to get away. Their fenced in area seemed highly secure and the inside area has multiple doors to keep her from having a chance to make a break for an open door. The staff is all so nice and I felt like our dog was cared for so well! We liked it so much there, we switched to using them as her vet too! I can't recommend Chenal Valley Animal Hospital enough!!!

Chenal Valley Animal Hospital is terrific with taking great care of your pets! Our girls have used the vet, have been boarded, and get groomed here! They are so caring! Dr. Smith was amazing with our girls. She even called the next day to check on them. Lupe and Randi take extra special care of them when they stay overnight. Brought my dog Tank Adams in for a annual shots/check up. Had to wait 40 minutes. He was able to ambulate like a normal dog with full weight bearing. When in room I immediately informed technician that he has an injured right knee. I also informed her that he does not like to have his rectal thermometer and she should not try it. She insisted it wasn't a problem and tried about 4-5 times with my dog twisting about to avoid thermometer. Then vet came in the room and they tried twice and then vet said well, it is not necessary it's only an annual check and he is not ill. Grrr, wish you would just listened to me! Upon leaving he wouldn't even jump into the car. This is a dog who prior could walk a half mile with me daily and go up and down steep driveway hill. Next day and since he has been toe touch weight bearing and now just yesterday began non weight bearing on that leg!! He has plowed through his prescribed Rimadyl which took him what 6 to 12 months?? By the way he has been into your clinic twice for x-ray's which shows visible arthritis. Only 6 year old dog. Sad circumstance.

Chenal Valley Animal Hospital is the BEST! We have used them for years for all of our animals. They have taken care of them as if they were their own "fur family!" When my cat, Olliver, was diagnosed with and died of cancer, CVAH was caring, compassionate, and heartfelt in their care for him and me. My dog gets extremely anxious and he can be a lot to deal with at the vet, but the staff has never made me feel like they were annoyed or frustrated. I feel good about leaving my furbaby in their care because I know they always have his best interest in mind! I highly recommend Chenal Valley Animal Hospital if you want a place that provides high quality services in a non-judgmental environment. I also love that I can get my dog's shots and get him groomed at the same time! They give you plenty of time in the morning to drop off too, and you can pick up at any point before they close- so there's usually no reason to have to miss work. Thanks, guys!

They are really nice. Very clean. The doctors there will answer every single question you have. I know from experience. You can call in and get your pet's meds refilled. I think they have an online shop. But I would give 5 stars. I think online med refills would be great. And in my opinion they are kinda expensive. Otherwise great place.

If you are looking for a vet, this is the place you will want to take care of your animal. I trust them completely when they take care of my dog and the dogs I care for when I dog sit. I have had many emergencies dog sitting and I know I can count on them. They are knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly people. They do well explaining everything ( I always have too many questions). Chenal Valley is the best - they even remember your name and your dog's name when you walk in the door - now that is great customer service!

I found a baby bird less than a week old alone in a parking lot, I coundn't see a nest or it's mother nearby. We took it here after calling around and they accepted him free if charge. The bird we found will enter their rehabilitation program for baby birds. Couldn't be happier with how things turned out.

We love Chenal Valley Animal Hospital! I looked long and hard for a place to board my dog. Chenal Valley Animal Hospital was by far the nicest and cleanest place we visited on our search. Our dog takes off like a bolt of lightning if given the opportunity, so we were looking for a place that was secure and she would not have an opportunity to get away. Their fenced in area seemed highly secure and the inside area has multiple doors to keep her from having a chance to make a break for an open door. The staff is all so nice and I felt like our dog was cared for so well! We liked it so much there, we switched to using them as her vet too! I can't recommend Chenal Valley Animal Hospital enough!!!

Chenal Valley Animal Hospital is terrific with taking great care of your pets! Our girls have used the vet, have been boarded, and get groomed here! They are so caring! Dr. Smith was amazing with our girls. She even called the next day to check on them. Lupe and Randi take extra special care of them when they stay overnight. Lauren always does a superb job when they visit to be groomed. Thanks for loving our pets as much as we do!!!

Brought my dog Tank Adams in for a annual shots/check up. Had to wait 40 minutes. He was able to ambulate like a normal dog with full weight bearing. When in room I immediately informed technician that he has an injured right knee. I also informed her that he does not like to have his rectal thermometer and she should not try it. She insisted it wasn't a problem and tried about 4-5 times with my dog twisting about to avoid thermometer. Then vet came in the room and they tried twice and then vet said well, it is not necessary it's only an annual check and he is not ill. Grrr, wish you would just listened to me! Upon leaving he wouldn't even jump into the car. This is a dog who prior could walk a half mile with me daily and go up and down steep driveway hill. Next day and since he has been toe touch weight bearing and now just yesterday began non weight bearing on that leg!! He has plowed through his prescribed Rimadyl which took him what 6 to 12 months?? By the way he has been into your clinic twice for x-ray's which shows visible arthritis. Only 6 year old dog. Sad circumstance.

Chenal Valley Animal Hospital is the BEST! We have used them for years for all of our animals. They have taken care of them as if they were their own "fur family!" When my cat, Olliver, was diagnosed with and died of cancer, CVAH was caring, compassionate, and heartfelt in their care for him and me. I highly recommend CVAH to anyone looking for a new vet clinic.

My dog gets extremely anxious and he can be a lot to deal with at the vet, but the staff has never made me feel like they were annoyed or frustrated. I feel good about leaving my furbaby in their care because I know they always have his best interest in mind! I highly recommend Chenal Valley Animal Hospital if you want a place that provides high quality services in a non-judgmental environment. I also love that I can get my dog's shots and get him groomed at the same time! They give you plenty of time in the morning to drop off too, and you can pick up at any point before they close- so there's usually no reason to have to miss work. Thanks, guys!
