You must have seen that it reaches an opinions average is practically the best, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the valuation is quite faithful. If people have bothered to leave their opinion when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian is classified in the category of Veterinarian.
The whole team at Westside is first class. They really care and that's what matters!
We have been taking our dogs to Westside for over 15 years. Fell in love with Dr Barnes when she first did accupuncture on our aging dog with nerve damage to his rear legs. He was the first of 4 rescue labs that they have cared for over the years. We first met Dr Siese when she was a vet tech at the office & dog sat for us occasionally. We loved her then & we love her now; she's awesome. To really tell you how much we love Westside, we moved from the Flagstaff area to Peoria a year & a half ago & still take our dog to Westside. Not only are the doctors great, but the staff is also. Can't imagine trusting my dog to anyone else.
I’ve always been very impressed by the caring professionalism. All my concerns are addressed. They have been especially helpful with my aging dogs.
I brought my two cats, Woody and Charlie for a quick checkup and vaccine refresh. This place was WONDERFUL. I was thirsty and they gave me a glass of water. They treated my animals with care and offered me safer vaccine choices that other vets had not offered. I highly recommend them.
I took my Kitty Spot to Westside Veterinary Clinic about two months ago. They provided the unfortunate diagnosis of skin cancer. This is, not coincidentally, difficult and expensive to treat with a poor prognosis in most cases. Due to her advanced age, I elected not to treat Spot, rather just to make her comfortable for her remaining days. Recently several events precipitated me to question the vet's diagnosis. Spot is, almost without question, afflicted with chronic and acute Feline Herpes (FVR). In her case this is causing a major ulcer on one of her eyes and the characteristic nasal discharge. I called the vet today to inquire whether they were open to this alternative diagnosis. Unfortunately, the vet was more interested in defending her earlier diagnosis than accepting a possible (non-terminal) diagnosis. I asked the vet if she practiced euthanasia on the request of the pet owner (she did), even though I am not considering this for Spot at this point, because I wanted to point out the irony that the vet would give my pet a lethal dose of medication on demand, but not consider an alternative treatment on request. I have concluded that the Westside Veterinary Clinic is interested in your money and defending their diagnosis more than your pet's health.
Very kind, and send me a regular post card for my kitty! Thank you!
For a family with so many critters, West Side Veterinary Clinic has been the absolute best. They are kind and knowledgeable and go above and beyond!! Our dogs and cats loved them and I wouldn't trust anyone more with my pets. We have moved overseas and Dr. Siess and the team helped us move the whole family over <3
Best experience and so appreciate the staff at Westside Vet Clinic! Dr. Gordon took such good care of us, fit us in with a puppy emergency and overall went the extra mile. The level of care and kindness shown to us was unexpected and totally appreciated!! We chose Westside because of the Google reviews-gratitude
We are from Houston Tx and were staying at a cabin on our way through to Nevada. Our Lexi was playing to hard on Sunday and hurt her leg. We were leaving on Monday and my wife started calling vet clinics, I believe she went through about 3 of them before she got to Westside, all were the same story, oh we can see you this afternoon, one of them even said we could drop her off and they would call us when they got to her. So, she calls Westside, the girl was very nice and said she could work Lexi in around 10:30, we got there around 9:30 and we were out of there about 11:00, this was with examination, x-rays the whole thing. WOW, if you live in Flagstaff this is the place you should be taking your pets. When they told me they wanted to do x-rays, of course I wanted to make sure nothing was broken, but in the back of your mind you think to yourself uh-oh this is going to be outrageous. They gave her two types of pain medicines, everything we needed for her to be comfortable for the rest of our trip when we settled the bill I was so happy it was very inexpensive, but the most impressive was the amount of love they gave to her especially her being so scared. Here's the topper, the next day I got a phone call from them, checking to make sure that the medications were working. Thank you to all of you at Westside Clinic, you made a bad situation on our vacation very comfortable.
The very best of Flagstaff!
I write reviews few and far between, but felt my multiple positive experiences at Westside Vet should be shared. I have had great vets in the past, but Dr. Barnes truly stands out as such a natural; truly compassionate, warm, and caring. My animals have also been seen by Dr. Romans, and she is great too. Some of the vet techs and front staff have been there since I started taking my cats and dogs to Westside (it’s been about two years now), and they’re all equally great. I will say some of the new people, on occasion, haven’t been wonderful, but who is perfect when starting out at a new job? And if you encounter the newbies during your fist visit, just know the wait is worth it for the doctors. I went to another local veterinarian for years, and stopped going there because they seemed to only offer the most expensive treatment plans, most expensive food, meds, everything. A friend recommended Westside, and I’m glad they did. I never feel like I am being bamboozled, and they always clearly explain all treatment options plus WHY they are recommending a certain course of action. And one of my animals had to be euthanized due to cancer, and I must say Westside was so compassionate and caring, even dropping off a flower and “Rainbow Bridge” poem at my home. It’s little things like that, which show how much they truly care about all their patients. I would definitely recommend them.
I have taken all my Scotties there since I moved in 2006, It is always a good experience, the dogs are as comfortable as a dog can get at a vet and are actually happy to see the staff and vets. I know have 7 as I took over my Mom's three and they are always so good to all the little mutts. My dogs are all getting older and will be moving on soon as the youngest is 11. Everybody is so good and kind to them and puts up with my trauma over their health. They are as good with stressed caretakers as the dogs
I would recommend this vet office to anyone ! I'm from Camp Verde which is about 50 some odd miles from Flagstaff but I don't mind driving the distance cause I know my fur babies are in GREAT hands!!! :-)
Our dog suffered from a "spinal stroke" and was paralyzed in her hind legs. Dr. Toni Barnes gave her a few acupuncture sessions and the improvement after each was miraculous. She is now able to do everything she could do before the stroke and we are forever grateful to Dr. Barnes and all the wonderful staff at Westside Veterinary Clinic!
Took cat in for first acupuncture treatment for hip pain. She certainly seemed more comfortable than she has been in a while afterward! Great clinic, great care for your fur babies.
I can’t say enough good things about Westside Veterinary Clinic - what a kind and caring staff! I found them while traveling after being turned down by two other clinics who advertised “no appointment necessary /emergency services” and discovering neither would see a non paitent....so it was with great relief that Dr. Jenny Siess not only fit in my dog Cricket but she received amazing and thoughtful care and we’re not even a regular patient! I can only imagine how wonderful they are to folks who actually live in Flagstaff. There’s nothing worse than being on the road when your pet suffers an injury but to have found this place made the experience as good as it could be! Thank you Dr Siess and everyone who helped us today.
When we first got our kitty we went to see them and they were so wonderful, now whenever I bring him in the girl comes speed walking out of the back yelling "Charlie!" They really make you feel welcome and like your pet really matters to them. There is a dog side and a cat side which is nice because my cat does not know what dogs are so he gets a little nervous at other places, but he is totally fine here!
The most competent and caring staff you will ever find. We moved to Oregon and we miss them so much. They are incredible!
Thank you for always being there to take care of our Cyndi Lauper
Dr. Barnes has been our family vet for a number of years and we think she is highly skilled and trust her with our beloved pets. However, the receptionist, Danielle, is deplorable. Rude, unprofessional and miserable to deal with. Because of numerous poor customer relation experiences with Danielle - which I did share with the vets and they agreed I wasn't the first person to say anything about how terrible she was with customers - I called Canyon Pet Hospital this week after calling Westside and having Danielle be short and rude yet again. My experience with Canyon Pet could not have been more different. The staff answering the phone was fabulous and polite. When I walked in with my dog the office was spotlessly clean (Westside has been dirty the last few times I have been there in recent weeks), the staff were ALL very nice, professional and happy. There was plenty of space to stay away from other dogs who weren't friendly ... the prices were listed in each exam room, as well as contact info for the owner if people had any questions or concerns. The vet I saw was fabulous and shockingly the bill was FAR LESS (less than half!) than the exact same labs and procedures my dog has received at Westside. So while I have been a loyal, longtime and dedicated customer of Westside and have sent 10's of new customers their way ... and while I still think Dr. Barnes is terrific ... given that I have to deal with Danielle when I call, arrive and leave the clinic, I will be supporting the salaries of polite and professional staff members at Canyon as long as Danielle's behavior continues to be unacceptable at Westside. Canyon was clean, professional, clearly cared about customers and their pets AND was less expensive!
Excellent service
My pets receive excellent, thorough care without going overboard.
Dr. Toni Barnes and her crew have been taking care of our cats and dog for the last several years. They have always treated the animals very gently and the owners too. The advise we have received always seems to work. I recommend Westside Clinic to anyone I know who is looking for a veterinarian.
My husband and I were SO happy and impressed with Dr. Roman and the entire staff yesterday! Everyone was so very sweet, and honestly seemed to care about our little Molly. We will definitely be bringing our dogs and kitties here in the future. Thank you Westside!
My little heeler Annie was diagnosed with congestive heart problems and Dr. Romans took great care of her. Recently she started to fail and they got her in the same day and Dr Romans took care of her final needs. Dr Romans was so kind to her and my other heeler Rocco and my cat Terry Tom. Then the next day my dog Emma ate something she shouldn't have and again Westside got her right in and Dr. Barnes treated her the same day. Nice caring people.
Unfortunately I had to put down my dog who was dying of cancer. Dr. Barnes and her whole staff were amazing. Helped me through this difficult time. Love this place
My dog Dweezil was run over by a truck a few years ago. Dr Barnes saved his life. He had multiple surgeries and survived. Dweezil feels like a rock star every time he goes to the vet. We love everyone at Westside vet.
We have been taking our pets to Westside for a number of years. Toni Barnes is our vet. .Everyone there is compassionate, caring and very knowledgeable. Toni has helped our cats with some very difficult conditions and her knowledge of alternative treatments really saved our pets! I am so grateful for Toni and the excellent care she gives!
I would like to thank the Westside staff for being instrumental in the growth and well being of my sweet dog. I've been taking him here for years and have always been extremely pleased with the care, compassion and knowledge. I would recommend them to each and every Flagstaff resident. Even though my furry friends journey has come to an end, the memories are strong and my appreciation for the Westside staff is great.
Knowledgeable and compassionate
We take all our animals to Westside and we love them. Our dogs love going there to see LeAnn and Toni. I recommend Westside to all my friends because of the love and attention that your pet receives. Our older dog loves the acupuncture.
We’ve been using Westside for about 3 years now. The staff, and doctors, are really caring and have always been exceptionally helpful. Dr. Barnes’ caring and thoughtful comments, combined with her expert care when our fur baby had heart problems, was exactly what we needed. When we picked up a rescue fur baby, we went straight back to Westside. I have the utmost of confidence in this group, and strongly encourage anyone looking for veterinary care to consider coming here.
I took my dog Daisy to Dr. Barns to get her teeth cleaned and some extractions done. The staff at Westside is so caring and great to work with. They kept me informed throughout the process. Thank You Westside for the wonderful care!!
I had a beautiful bully dog who was rescued from Mexico in awful shape. By the time she got to me, she was doing well, but I immediately took her to Dr. Romans for a check up. Dr. Romans and the team were fantastic. Smart, knowledgeable and seemed to truly care. Last week our sweet girl started slowing down. Dr. Romans took fabulous care of her... we had to come in for an emergency appointment on a Saturday night and Dr. Romans was completely present, caring, human... Unfortunately it was our girl's time to pass. Again, Dr. Romans was the one who helped us along. She was so wonderful. I recommend her and her team wholeheartedly.
