Here you will see all the feddbacks of real people like you who consumed the services of Westridge Animal Hospital (Veterinarian) near to the state of Arizona.
Nowadays the firm has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 and the score was based on 59 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is high, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the rating is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian corresponds to the category of Animal hospital.
They are the most caring professionals. You know immediately that they love your pet. Dr Peterson will spend all the time in the world with you and your pet, i.e compared with most MDs.
Love this place, the doc, and all the staff
Dr. Peterson is very knowledgeable and caring. I have been taking my animals to him for almost 29 years. Highly recommend.
My 1 month old kitten was treated at an emergency hospital for constipation last night with an enema, fluids and prescribed a laxative. They advised me to take her to a regular vet for a follow-up & another enema today. Westridge doctor agreed that she needed an enema but wanted to re-diagnose her and keep her overnight. I asked him to try first, and then we'd talk. This made him very upset. He refused to treat my pet because he didn't want to be proven wrong. He said, "you just come in here and tie my hands and tell me what i can and can't do? no". Um, when it comes to my cat? yes. I told him I would go somewhere else but he said he would try. Then brought her back seconds later to tell me they wouldn't do it & I should take her somewhere else. I never take the time to write bad reviews but I'll make an exception for this guy. He was very dramatic, passive aggressive & unprofessional. The staff was very nice & treated us very respectfully though. That star is for them. Just my experience.
Took a Lil Chihuahua that had an infection on her belly, a deep infection . Dr Kathryn Allen DVM took the bull by the horns and new what the dog Sam needed , Thanx I will keep u posted on recovery !
We really appreciate the way this vet take care of our dogs. We have four Chihuahuas.
Best Vet ever!!!
Excellent pet care at a reasonable price.
Dr. Pete is a caring vet who explains things. He has help me with my dogs for over 20 years. Highly recommend.
Horrible costumer service. Do not recommend
I found one of the many cats that we feed outside our front door this afternoon. She was laying there and gasping for breath and was obviously very, very distressed. It was 20 minutes before they closed and I live 2 minutes away. I was afraid the cat was dying. I called and told the person on the phone the situation. She asked if I would take financial responsibility. I said “of course I would.” She then said they had no appointments. I told her the cat was dying, I can’t make an appointment. She then said that it was too close to closing for them to do anything. I have never dealt with anyone more callous and uncaring. We have 8 cats of our own and about 16 that we feed. These guys have treated many of them over the years and I’ve had them euthanize 2 of my cats. I even donated towels to them a couple of times. They will never again treat any of my cats.
Family has been going to this veterinarian for well over 30 years. Very good and trustworthy place to take your pet to for good care.
Was referred to them by a good friend. The doctor was booked & very busy. But as soon as he saw how much pain my little guy was in. He had him booked for oral surgery the very next day. Completely changed my little guy with the unfortunate name as the ladies called him. He is so happy & more playful then ever. It was like he was a totally different dog. Had gotten him at an old age from my neighbor. He was and still is all over my place now. Always wanting to play. Or follow me were ever I go. Dr. Peterson and his staff are amazing. I will never go anywhere else.
Visited the place yesterday to put our cat down. Not on our side of town but on the way to another event and the price for euthanasia was very reasonable. I was very nicely surprised by the compassion demonstrated by the receptionist, doctor and the assistance. Doctor was very experienced and gave us his honest opinions and options after the exam of our 19 year old cat. Both he and the assistant were very sympathetic and compassionate, and showed great respect for us and our pet by explaining the whole process in great detail, allowing us ample time to say goodbye to our beloved cat, and even giving us a hug at the end and saying "sorry". Very very impressed by their professionalism and compassion, and the cleanness of the place, and best of all, it did not break the bank. I highly recommend this veterinary practice if you live on that side of town. Thank you, Westridge Animal Hospital!
The staff here is super disrespectful. The doctor and lady at the front desk are unwilling to show any signs of empathy. They do not care about their costumers at all. The lady at the front desk has no business being in costumer service. The vet asked my grandma who has been a loyal customer for 18 years if she wanted him to treat the dog or not. My grandma already in distress had to deal with that rude remark after the doctor found a lump on her dogs neck. If you dont like your job lady find a new one. If you appreciate rude service staff feel free to come here.
We have been coming to Westridge Animal Hospital for over a decade and the staff and doctors there are by far the best we have ever known. They truly care for the animals they treat and do not recommend unnecessary procedures just to increase the bill. Their pricing for their services is extremely reasonable. The entire staff is amongst the best we have ever known. The primary physician, Dr. Peterson is amazing and we trust him like family. This review comes with considerable experience, as we have had over a dozen of our rescued dogs treated over the years at various facilities and 10+ of those have had their primary care through Westridge Animal Hospital. There are many good vets out there, but this one is by far our favorite!
GREAT DR..Wonderful Staff..always go here from 1st month we had our new puppy
Dr Peterson and staff has always been amazing for us, Thru our many dogs. Prior we actually had our dogs get loose un-known to us. We received a phone call from the office that they saw them roaming the road near camelback ave and picked them up for us!! Thru-out many different issues always gave us the options to do what was best for the boys...
Great, caring Staff
Your pets get a personal touch from doctor and staff
I never thought I would have to make such a decision, it broke our hearts and wasn't the easiest to make, but the Westridge personnel made me feel so comfortable at what I decided. Thank you so much for all your help and support....we need more ppl like you... R.I.P CHUBBS
Caring, listen to your concern and immediate feedback when calling in
The Veterinarian was very knowledgeable and went over all options and their prices with us before settling on the preferred treatment.
Staff is not very helpful horrible customer service
Dr Peterson is outstanding, far above and beyond
I wish I would know them 3 months ago. That could be the difference for my beloved dog...
I heard dr. Peterson is good however his staff are not... I took my dog in with a neck wound and a broken jaw... he came out with a cone and wraped to keep his temp. Warm due to the morphine... an hr later after I unwrapped him his neck wound was shaved but untreated and opened!!! All they kept saying is they couldn't do much because they were about to close in an hr! A whole hour! $550 to get a few xrays and them just say take it somewhere else.
Called asking about my dogs diarrhea and what to do and the lady I spoke with was nice the entire time and told my what I should do made sense and was clear. -1 Star because she made me wait on hold for a bit.
The veterinarian and staff at this place is very compassionate with your need and wishes I don't feel overly priced but not the greatest price either but we have been going up there for years
Second time I drop by during opening hours and they are always closed kind of frustrating
Dr Peterson and all the staff are fantastic. Dr. Peterson is helpful, caring and always explains, in detail, what is wrong and what treatments options are available for our fur babies. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I highly recommend them.
I brought my service dog in I'm extremely short notice because she was ill and the doctor saw her right away diagnostic prescribed medicine and now she's doing perfectly fine. They're very professional very knowledgeable and very empathetic. I would definitely recommend Westridge Animal Hospital and dr. Peterson to anyone searching for a Primary Care Veterinarian
I had to take my 18 year old cat Billy in to be put down. Staff, Dr, Awesome! Dr kissed my Billy on the head.❤️
Dr. Petersen is an amazing veterinarian. He has been taking care of my dogs for over the past 20 years through all of their various life stages. He is thorough, intuitive, insightful, caring, and is very good at explaining complicated medical interactions in a way that is easy to understand. His staff is also extremely caring, and has always gone the extra mile for me over the years whenever I have needed something. I highly recommend Dr. Petersen and his team at Westridge Animal Hospital.
