I have been taking my furbaby here for over 4 years. Each visit is great with awesome customer service and they really do care for each animal. I had to leave my dog overnight there due to an illness and they would call me every hour to let me know how Roxy was doing. We have owned a dog for 12 years now and added a second one to our family 2 years ago. We have gone through at least 5-6 vets trying to find one that takes the time to answer our questions while operating as a knowledgeable and caring practitioner for our dogs. It has been difficult for us to find this kind of vet surprisingly. But we cannot be any happier with Twin Peaks. Everyone, from the two practicing vets to their staff and vet techs, we have been over the moon with this vet office. Can't say enough!

Moved to Marana 3 years ago and decided not to continue to drive our 20 year old cat back to the Eastside clinic we had used for years. Ded some research and found that Twin Peaks had some cat centric vets. Fast forward to the care and comfort the last 90 days as we dealt with our girl's end of life issues. Thank you to the veterinarians who gently cared for her and us during this difficult period. They also took the donations of pet related items not accepted by other animal charities. Thank you!

Twin Peaks Veterinary Center has a wonderful, loving staff and compassionate Veterinarians. We've taken all of our dogs there (total of 6 over time) and they are excited to see the girls (support staff) every time! We had purchased a plan, which recently expired and was not able to use a portion of it due to an unexpected surgery my dog needed to have. The Veterinarians were kind enough to honor the plan and performed the surgery on a Sunday. We were so grateful for the sacrifice that they were willing to make for our pet and would certainly recommend them to any one of our friends and/or family members. Thank you Twin Peaks Vet Center!!!

If I could do no stars I would One of the worst experiences I've had in general. When I showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment I wasnt even greeted by the receptionist who was too busy talking to someone waiting for their dog to be done with grooming. Ten minutes after my appointment and after the conversation was finally finished, they took me to a room. Fifteen minutes after that the receptionist came in and asked my dog's name and said oh her appointment is tomorrow at 730. I said my wife has a confirmation text for my appointment today at 330. She then offers me a 430 appointment to wait for. Not an easy thing with my 13 week old puppy that has diarrhea. I said no this is not my mistake my appointment is at 330, it is now 4 and I would like for my puppy to be seen. She agrees and says someone will be in shortly. At 430 my puppy started scratching at the window to go outside so I walked out and said I was leaving. My puppy then had worse diarrhea because we waited so long to be seen and she went as soon as I got in the parking lot. They showed no care or compassion for a sick animal and have a terribly run office. I would not suggest this place to anyone and would highly recommend not going here. Unorganized, unprofessional and clearly don't want the business. The vets may be good, but I have no idea because I never even got to see one after a full hour of waiting. To the owner regarding your response. That is inaccurate. I did not show up at 340 I showed up 5 minutes early at 325. As I said above, your receptionist did not acknowledge me or the other gentleman until 340. You were so kind to offer to squeeze me in to an appointment an hour later rather than honor my initial appointment that was cancelled because of a mistake your staff made. Unless you are calling my wife a liar. She had a text from your confirmation service at approximately 220 that confirmed the 330 appointment. After I spoke to the receptionist I told her I could not wait with my dog until 430 because she was ill and aside from that why should I wait because of your mistake. She then told me that I would be seen right away. She did not inform me that despite what I said she was giving me the 430 apt. I even said if I can't be seen right away to let me know because I wasn't intending to sit there that long. However I did try to give you guys the chance to actually earn my business, until my dog had to go to the bathroom and was scratching at the window in the office to get out. Very convenient you were going to walk in to the office right after I left. I will never call your business and I hope no one else does.

I've learned to read reviews and to leave reviews to help others. Having said that in the last year I've always had a good experience with Twin Peaks Veterinary Center. I have three small animals and they have another number of good points one being they've always been on time efficient as in fast and not confused and bumbling when handling your pet and paperwork, 2. They're always pretty friendly, and 3. Seem caring as real pet people, unlike some practices you can find that are cold and sterile in their approach with you and your pets/loved ones. Horrible with their first year puppy or kitten policy. When we bought the policy we already had paid for 2 office visits and a fecal analysis--even though we didn't do the fecal until after we paid for the policy they wouldn't refund our money!! If it is covered in the policy then every visit we had should have been covered as well as all covered procedures. Unbelievable!!!

Not happy with our service. I spent over 39 min there and paid for wellness check and my dog never recieved one but its a requirement to be seen for whats wrong and told she has cancer but you should know that but we were there for itching i was a little upset to say the least then left and said she would be back with options for itching and the tech came in with a page for me to sign approving what i wanted for her treatment not the dr. Firsr time visit for less than 15 min with options for treatment for itching over 230.00. Not going back. Nice people but need to brush up on actual care insted of making a quick buck.

Just a shout out.. this is not my regular vet, I am traveling through town. Yesterday 3/12/19, after spending the night at a deplorable ER Vet in town (beware of Southern Arizona Vet on Fort Lowell) with my very sick dog/ travel partner and no sleep, I walked into Twin Peaks Veterinarian. I had called and wandered into several others previous to this asking in very dyer straights for help with my old gal who needed emergency surgery. Although they were too busy with surgeries that day to take in my dog, I feel that the girls working the desk went so beyond what anyone else had done to help me solve my problem. They called their surgeons, called other reputable vets in the area and found me a place to take her within 1 hour. Unreal, considering I am only traveling through town and not a regular client. So thankful for these ladies. I'd be thrilled to have this place in my town. You're lucky Tucson! Total dedication.

My boy Tobi is my baby. I’m very particular about his treatment. Before I even stepped foot into this facility I called them and was greeted with such kindness over the phone. They were able to see my boy for the first time on a Sunday, same day I called them. I knew he needed X-rays and they were able to tell me the price over the phone. Once I got there and Tobi was evaluated the quoted price didn’t change. They also found ways for me to get his medicine the cheapest way possible. The staff once I arrived was just as pleasant as the young lady that first greeted me on the phone. They were kind, gentle and showed compassion. Tobi found a sunny spot in the office and the vet got on the ground and went to Tobi so he didn’t have to leave his sunny spot. That may seem trivial to some, but to me that showed genuine care. The visit was quick but not rushed. They were efficient yet took their time to answer my questions. Once I left the office their work for my boy didn’t stop. They called the next morning to see how he was doing, asked if I had any questions and they were flexible with me when I needed to come back for Tobi’s blood work. The tech once again took her time and answered all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed or like I was a bother. I live on the east side and had a “home” vet on the east side. They couldn’t get Tobi in to be seen for over a wBut after the exceptional care Tobi received I will now be taking all 4 of my fur babies to this clinic. Also just to add, their prices are so reasonable! I have zero to complain about and feel that during every step of my interaction with them was exceptional. I whole heartedly recommend this office to any and everyone.

9 years ago, I brought my cocker spaniel here after 4 vet visits with another clinic who failed to diagnose my dog with valley fever. He would have died had I not brought him here. I brought my cat in a week ago after a cross country move, and he died suddenly. Not only did the staff get our boy in for 2 emergency visits, but they worked hard to make him comfortable so he would pass peacefully. We were absolutely devastated and bewildered that he died so suddenly, becausebhe was healthy, as was the staff. The owner of the clinic called me and asked to perform an autopsy for all of us to get closure, and personally followed up with results. Nowdays most companies treat you like a number. This clinic treats you and your pets like family and the consistency of valued customer service over the years is why our entire family uses and will continue to use Twin Peaks . As a military family, we do not live in Tucson full time, but always bring our fur babies here for care and grooming when we come home for visits. Highly recommend them to all.

Stay away from this clinic! We have had nothing but problems with our animals and Twin Peaks. The office staff is disorganized and rude. The vets are okay but first you have to get through the uninterested and uncaring front desk and office manager. We have had so many problems that I will try to be short in my descriptions. I will start with the latest. We took our dog in regarding his teeth as he had distemper as a puppy and his teeth are bad. This is the second time by the way. We asked for a specific doctor because we had had good luck with him and one of our cats. The front office asked why our dog was being brought in and when told, did not let us know that this vet did not "do teeth" and suggest a vet who did. So in we go and $200+ later, we have antibiotics and a follow-up appointment, which we have since cancelled. When we took our dog to another vet, she said that Twin Peaks should not have charged us over $100 for the meds but written a script so that we could get them at a pharmacy for a fraction of the cost. The first time we took him in for his teeth, they told us surgery was needed and to bring him in the next morning. They kept him all day and didn't do surgery until that evening. We were told he would be home by noon. We got him at about 7:30pm that night. It wouldn't have been so bad except that all of our animals are rescues and he is a nervous dog. You don't keep a nervous dog all day when you know you won't be doing surgery until that evening. It's just cruel. Although there are many other things this clinic has done wrong, the only other one I will talk about is our cat who went in for a annual visit and vaccinations. We told them they were missing a vaccination and they told us we were wrong. After taking him home, we looked at our records and found we were correct. We called them and their response was that errors are made sometimes. Are they kidding me?!!!!! All the vet had to do was look at the records to see she was wrong but didn't bother. So off we go to the clinic to get the last vaccination. When I mentioned the error we were put off like it was no big deal. When I rescued this cat, his head was bashed in and his eyeball was barely in the socket. He is also a nervous animal around women and at the vets office. Again, it was cruel to put him through that. My list goes on and on. Please think twice before trusting them to care for your animals. Your babies are not important to this animal factory. If this review stops just one person from seeing them then I have saved one person from heartache for their animal(s). Please take warning!

Dr. Johnson and the rest of the staff at TPVC are wonderful! After going to a different vet and realizing that she saw me as a dollar sign whenever I came into her office, I decided to switch vets after reading all of the other great reviews about Twin Peaks. Dr. Johnson is not the only vet in the practice, but I book appointments with her since she is familiar with one of our pets who seems to have several recurring medical conditions. She only does whatever tests are necessary to diagnose a problem and seems to be conscious of the fact that owning three dogs and a cat (like we do) can get expensive if even one of them has medical issues. I feel confident that my animals are getting the best possible care at TPVC and that the entire staff are honest and forthright (not trying to gouge me). After seeing the same vet for 18 years when we lived in Gilbert, AZ and trusting her with all of our past pets, I know that I have found my vet practice for as long as we live in the Tucson area.

We've got three dogs, a Bichon, a Poodle, and a Doberman. We take all three of our dogs to Twin Peaks and absolutely love them. While it may be a little on the expensive side you certainly get what you pay for. They were recommended to us by our vet when we moved from out of town and they have lived up to it. They are friendly with the animals, knowledgeable about any questions we have ever had and upfront about potential costs. They also can get you in relatively quick and have great hours that work around people with a busy lifestyle's schedule. You won't be disappointed.

My family has used this clinic for a number years for both dogs and cats. We dont use them on a routine basis due to not living in Tucson but the care for our pets when we visit has always been great. This clinic. Does great at both routine care and emergency care. It is obvious the staff cares about your pet and you. Vets visits always seem high but having lived in many different places, this location has great pricing. I will continue to use this location.

This vet used to be good, but I will not go back after my visit today. I have 2 dogs, a German Shorthair and a Lab. Both of my babies required shots. My German Short Hair had to have an office visit because she had not been seen for a year. My lab only needed a tech visit because she has been seen and examined by the vet within the last few months. After being kenneled this weekend, my lab woke up with a horrible ear infection this morning. Me thinking I am going to the vet anyway and they will help her kindly asked the technician if the vet could also take a look at my Labs ear since we were already there and she is obviously suffering. I was answered with an abrupt probably not because she only has a tech appt and the dr. schedules 30 minute blocks. I was stunned at the lack of compassion. She asked the dr. and he said no we can come back. Are you kidding me? We were early, there was not one else in the office, the dr. came in at 9:10 and walked out at 9:15. So 5 minutes for our German Short Hair's 30 minute appointment? and you cannot look at my Labs painful ear? Absolutely 0 compassion and a huge lack of customer service. There was no one waiting when we left either. Very disappointing service and I will not be returning!

We needed to take our dog to the vet on a Saturday and our regular vet was closed. We moved to Marana recently and were just making the trip to Tucson to our regular vet but it was suggested to us to try Twin Peaks Veterinary because they were good and (obviously) closer. They had no issue with fitting us in, they were so very communicative about every single thing (how much of a wait there would be, when to expect the doc to come in, etc). I was especially impressed with Dr. Shear, as was my dog who really wanted nothing more than to go home with the doc :). It was such a good experience that I am switching all 4 dogs over to them. After having moved to the Tucson area recently, it was important that we establish a vet. I wanted an office that was near our home in the event of emergencies, etc. Although I don't feel that location should be the only reason to select a professional nor a reason to stay with a professional that is less than satisfactory. I chose TPVC. I noticed the facility as we were driving through the neighborhood and then coincidentally, found a discount flyer in our "Welcome Bag." I then read reviews of the vets which is a daunting task--a review can be subjective--one client's perception may be negative while another has a very positive experience. Have visited TPVC on two occasions. The first time to update our pups vaccinations and get a check-up. Met with Dr. Laton on that visit. Very personable and knowledgeable. Had a very friendly and comfortable rapport with our dogs. Positive experience. On our second visit, the office was able to accommodate me with an immediate appointment for a cat who had a ingrown claw which I thought may have pierced the flesh. On this occasion, I met Dr. Battraw--also, very personable, and knowledgeable. Kitty had a pedicure all around and fortunately, the ingrown claw had not done any damage. The techs in both cases were very nice and handled our pets very well. The office staff is also very professional, friendly and accommodating. The only suggestion I would make is that in both visits, we met with the techs initially prior to seeing the doctor. I think a introduction is in order--even if I don't remember the name, still would like to know the name of the person handling my pet.

I have been going to Twin Peaks and seeing Dr. Laton for at least 6 years now. Every time I go in there, I have no doubt that she truly cares for my pets. She has clearly either read the file prior to walking in or simply remembers my animals...and I am not there more than twice a year. Dr. Laton is compassionate, caring, and extremely concerned about the care of my animal. They give me options as far as steps to take so that I can work within my budget. And always follows up within the next couple of days to make sure everything is going okay.

Before I proceed with this review, I must comment that I have reviewed Twin Peaks Veterinary Center in the past when we first began our association with TPVC. It has been over a year since we established our relationship and we have had the opportunity to have our pets seen by two of the veterinarians on staff--Drs. Rebecca Laton and Laura Battraw. The staff, beginning with the people at the front desk (who make the first impression on a new client/patient), the animal techs and ultimately the veterinarians provide excellent care and customer service consistently. There is no hit-and-miss when visiting the center. Each person handles our animal concerns with understanding, compassion, offering their knowledge and experience throughout the process. Not only do they handle the patient who is varying levels of distress, but they must also accommodate a floodgate of emotions with the guardian of the ailing pet. Such was the case with us. I have taken over the care of two cats that belonged to my father. One was a senior (by any standard) and in failing health; the other, a youngster by comparison. In addition, I have two aging cats of my own and two pups, one is also a senior and the other is considerably younger. The older animals are making more frequent visits to the vets. In February, I had to have my deceased father's cat who was 17 years old and in renal failure, euthanized. Within a month, I also learned that my 13 year old cat had cancer which appeared to be very agressive. I wanted to take her back home with the hope that she would be in her own surroundings when the end came. Isn't that what most of us would want? At any rate, I did take her home and I was given instructions on the end-of-life process--not a pleasant thing to anticipate but necessary and I was grateful to have it. At this time, Dr. Laton was the veterinarian handling my beloved cat. Dr. Laton made follow-up calls to check on the status of "Sheila." I was so appreciative of her level of concern which far exceeded anything I had ever experienced in the past. Another week passed, I received a call from Dr. Laton informing me that she had discussed my kitty with some other professionals and suggested that we might try a steroid (tablet form); worst case scenario, there would be no improvement but possibly there would be some benefit albeit short term. I agreed and Dr. Laton prescribed the medication which I picked up the next day which was a Monday. Dr. Laton had called me on Sunday--that is dedication. The medication did not seem to make a difference after a week or so. The pain and discomfort of Sheila increased and I knew it "was time." I called ahead and asked that Dr. Laton handle the end-of-life for Sheila. Dr. Laton had been my rock throughout this ordeal and had demonstrated so much love and compassion for both Sheila and my father's cat, Mikey when their time came. Dr. Laton is a gold medal winner in providing the most knowledgeable and caring treatment for our pets. I feel fortunate to have discovered Twin Peaks Veterinary Center and highly recommend them. As a postscript: TP donated a tree to be planted in the Tahoe National Forest as a living tribute to and in memory of Sheila. I cannot express in words what this means to me nor can I convey how deeply I miss Sheila and all the pets before her who have gone gently into the world beyond.

My shihtzu was bit by a rattlesnake on Wednesday morning and after hearing many terrible stories about anti-venom and they high costs, we were very nervous about the potential outcome. We got right into the exam room and the techs came in to get information and to let us know cost estimates (low/high) depending upon services we choose. Was a bit surprised that your animal is taken out of room to get shots, exam, etc. However, Dr. Neuman is great and spent a lot of time with us, answering questions and providing information. All vet offices are expensive so that wasn't a surprise. It would be nice to get a senior discount and/or other types of incentives as keeping your fur babies is quite expensive and shelters are very full...

THANK YOU! I was upset and desperate to get help for my Creature, a Netherland Dwarf Bunny. I dont know why I called Twin Peaks, they didn't see my bunny, but do see my dogs Aries and Xena and cat Timmy. We have always been treated like family no matter what our emergencies may be. My bunny needed to be put down due to a broken back. Dr Neuman did not hesitate to take him in, late at night. We got our baby's cremains back in a beautiful box, along with paw prints and a card from the whole staff who never knew our Creature. We still miss Creature emesly, yet we have wonderful memorials thanks to Twin Peaks. Thank you for being apart of our family.

My family and I have been going for years I decided to purchase the plan which included chip and neuter well they never let me know the plan was going to expire soon and when I called them to make an appointment for my dogs for that they said I would have to pay because the plan had just express a few days ago....I told them since it was already included in the plan and I had purchased it already and never used those can they honor it and they refused and they were so rude about it! I went again even after that happen because one of our dogs got sick and they were so rude including the doctor!!!! Don't recommend it very disappointing to say the least....

I moved to Tucson about 3 years ago and found Twin Peaks Veterinary Center. They have taken such good care of the 2 cats I take there. In fact I had to take one in just a few days after I moved. They were very nice, took their time and gave me a break on price. I lost my older, female cat the Saturday before Christmas 2013 - they were very nice and kind. It's always sad to lose a pet who had been with you for 15 years - they made it a little easier.

When Twin Peaks opened for business, one of our dogs was the second patient to arrive. Since then, we've used them as our primary veterinarian service for all of our pets. They are knowledgeable, professional and personable. I would say that their prices are in the "ballpark" but due to their extended hours, urgent care is much more reasonable than taking a pet to an emergency clinic. I have had many pets for many years and have come in contact with many veterinarians - Dr. Neuman and her staff rank right up at the top. Highly recommended!!!! I have been continuing to take my dogs to this animal care center and lately we've been seeing DR. Battraw who is great. The care continues to be excellent! Our last visit was on 7/11/18. the only thing I miss is the continuity in the support staff. There seems to be so much turn over that I don't recognize the staff the way I used to - I miss that!

We've taken our Pomchi to Twin Peaks Vet a couple of times for emergencies unfortunately. Each time the entire staff is not only friendly, but very knowledgeable and took care of Benny immediately. Just the other day I took him in for a regular visit and again everyone was so helpful. He had his anal glands expressed and when there was nothing to expressed - they didn't even charge me. I truly love Twin Peaks Veterinary Center and we have been to a few others in Tucson including Orange Grove Vet, Northwest Pet Clinic and PAWS Vet. What I discovered is that a couple of those are very expensive and so busy they don't give your pet the best bedside care. Twin Peaks is affordable, friendly, caring, very knowledgeable and provide the best care for our Benny!

I've been taking my dogs to Twin Peaks for the past couple of years. They helped me care for my senior dog and helped her over the bridge when it was time. They helped our 3 year old pit mix get the best care for her knee surgery with a referral to a great specialist, and they helped me with preparing the insurance claim. I've never had to wait more than a day for an appointment. The receptionists, vet techs, and doctors (seen three different vets so far) have all been professional yet friendly and just excellent with managing the dogs, especially considering our two big rambunctious pits can be a challenge. And since they keep evening and weekend hours, I've never had to pay for an emergency visit - they are always there when I need them. They are active in supporting local animal rescue groups, too. Best clinic I've ever been to (and I'm 60 and had dogs all my life!)

We have a dificult dog that won't tolerate anyone doing things to him. From the time he was a puppy he has fought tooth and nail to avoid the clippers or having a Vet poke at him. Therefore he has to be sedated to have ANYTHING done to him. We try to group shots and bloodwork and all that around his grooming. He's a lhasa apso and his hair grows long. We have him shaved down all over with just a little fuzz. This makes 'him' more comfortable and reduces the time in between groomings. Our other Vet's groomer retired and they have not found another. We found Twin Peaks to do everything we needed and were even a bit cheaper than our old Vet. We've only been once, but they are so nice and I hope they will work well with us and him.

Took both my dogs in for similar symptoms. Turns out they both have ringworm. Dr. Miller (New Dr. who will order every test imaginable just to make sure you get charged a fortune) sent out a culture on one dog, but not he other and now refuses to treat the second dog who has ringworm in about 5 different spots on her body. He wants another visit at $50 and another culture at $130. I just spent $500 last week. They are out for your money and nothing else. I will not go back.

We have been taking our pets to Twin Peaks since they opened. We take our dogs for grooming and they helped us when we discovered one of our dogs was diabetic. But recently we had to take our 19 year old cat in to be euthanized. Twin Peaks' End of Life Services were outstanding. They gave us as much time as we needed before and after the procedure and everyone on the staff showed the utmost compassion. The doctor even got choked up. They worked things out so that all the paperwork and payment were taken care of before the procedure so when it was over and I was done saying goodbye I could just leave out the side door. Less than a week later we were able to pick up his ashes in a beautiful wooden box and imprints of his paws cast in clay. I should also note that the price was reasonable. I was already impressed by the services and then today in the mail we got a beautiful card, hand signed by the staff and thoughtfully personalized. Thank you Twin Peaks.
