We recently moved to Phoenix from NC and had not established veterinary care anywhere when our dog got sick. They were able to make us an appointment the next day (which I requested). They were excellent! The hospital is very clean and nice looking and the employees are friendly. The doctor was great as well with my little girl! Got her the care and medicines she needed and she’s doing great! My dog is my world and they did so great with making sure we were both comfortable and gave her the best care. I am planning on returning and will definitely recommend this place to others.

I adopted one of my dogs recently and brought her in to be examined by Dr. Hollis. I was greeted by Kara (Cara?) at the front desk and was taken to a room immediately. Dr. Hollis was extremely thorough with her examination of Emma and does a wonderful job of explaining her issue and the treatment plan. I'm so happy with the care we received at The Pet Wellness Center and will definitely be back.

Dr. Cheryl Rahal and staff at The Pet Wellness Center went above and beyond with Dolce, my sheltie. In November, I brought Dolce to Wellness Center; she was coughing severely,( which sounded like whooping cough), had great difficulty breathing, and was very inactive. Dolce and I visited Dr. Cheryl for the next two months; different meds were tried and xrays taken. It was found that Dolce had an enlarged heart, lung complications, severe arthritis, and collapsing trachea. With great care from Dr. Cheryl in November and December, Dolce is now more active and happier than she has been for the past year. Due to the patience, persistence, meds, and knowledge of Dr. Cheryl, Dolce has made great strides. I have been amazed; Dolce is now active, happy, and barks again. I am so happy that Dr. Cheryl Rahal and Pet Wellness Center provided a second chance for Dolce.

This is not your ordinary vet. In fact, when you visit, it feels more like walking into someone's home. There is a friendly office cat, and while the place is definitely clean, it does not feel sterile and cold in the way many vets and animal hospitals can. Clearly, they love animals, and my dog got great care, as did I. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and I am happy to have found a new team for my dog and future cat.

I'm all about supporting little shops like these but today was the last straw for me with this practice. My dogs had puppies back in December and we had been to this place a few times since it opened and previously to having the puppies we had a great experiences. I called them to see how much it would be to get 3 puppies in for shots a grand total that way i can compare. They said the total price would be 125 with shots and office visit. I booked the appointment and they received their shots and went to check out and they said it would be 225! I was shocked. I told them that i had only made the appointment here because they quoted me 125. They adjusted the price and all was good. They told me that they would need to come back in for their other shots in a few weeks. I got the call a few days before they needed the shots. I asked once again the grand total to make sure and to make a note in the account that way im not surprised. Went to the appointment and i was surprised they said oh looks like its time for this shot. I wish i knew that prior so i can be prepared for 3 x's 23.50. Then they had run out of one of the vaccines and never called to let me know when it was back in stock. The last visit was just the other day and i had called a day or two prior because im busy and cant really call a decent amount of time ahead but she said that it would be 90 dollars for all 3 to get the next shots along with the visit she said that they may be ready for rabies, i come in the next day and i told Cory that i want to know exactly how much everything will be i told him that i was already told it would be about 90 for all the shots except rabies i told him that i forgot to ask how much that vaccine was and before he got that ready i would like to approve how much it would be. He told me that it would be 20 per dog . i approved . I had been very clear that i was keeping track on how much i was spending. This is the second time that they try to keep silent on hidden fees. I know that they have to have the vet administer the rabies shots and thats fine. But i was told by one of the techs that if i had came in the office with in a certain time i would not be charged a visit fee and since i had kept up with their shots i qualified for that discount for the fee. seems very weird that every time i came they seem to want to charge me over a 100 dollars more than what is expected . When Cory told me the price for today over 225. I questioned it since i was quoted 90 and was told 20 times 3 would not equal 225 . The Vet was looking for something and i was questioning it all she was saying was i'm sorry that you were quoted the wrong amount... And all i was thinking was you are conning me into paying more than i should. With writing all that i'm upset about i don't want the owner telling me to come back in and it to be discounted . I will not be going back no matter what. What i actually want is for you to prepare your clients for what they have to pay with no hidden fees and hidden agendas!!!

Dr. Cheryl Rahal and her staff are wonderful. They genuinely love our fur-babies and take the time to make sure they get the best care and support. The office is nice and clean with separate exam areas for dog and cats. The dog room had toys in there for Snape to play with while we waited (which wasn't long at all). Dr. Rahal got right down on the ground to examine Snape and his anxiety was no more. I highly recommend taking your pets there.

Brought my homie Marbles in this morning for vomiting and diarrhea, The Vet did a pancreatitis test and it came out negative. Gave him some love and meds and also helped with alternative options for payment. I was going to go to Banfield but glad I came here. She was also treating a pig as well! Thought was crazy never seen that before. Anyways bring your pet here if you need help. Dog, Cats, Horses, Pigs, and others. The receptionist said no birds or reptiles though. Definitely found a doc for my dog. Thanks again!

We are new to the Phoenix area and my service dog was definitely feeling pain and discomfort in her back leg due to a sprain or arthritis. Dr. Alexandria Hollis was absolutely wonderful with caring for her. She was very understanding and gentle and made sure to explain in detail a treatment. We were in and out in less than an hour and didn’t brake the bank either. She even called the next morning to check up on Luna. I am definitely satisfied with The Pet Wellness Center and will be returning for all of my pet’s needs.

They have a special 'cat room' which tells me that cats are important too. Also, two beautiful clinic cats are there to greet you when you enter the facility:-)

If I can give more than five stars I would. I honestly do not give reviews but this one deserves 5+ stars. Dr. Rahal is wonderful. I have had the opportunity to have her as a vet once when she was at Desert Hills Clinic for one of my cats and she was amazing. When I arrived for the first time at Pet Wellness with my cat Sphynx last week and realized she was going to be the veterinarian, i was pleased. Sphynx was there initially for a check up but the night before he went to the ER so that changed the visit a little bit. When we got to Pet Wellness we were greeted by 2 beautiful cats; Toby and a siamese kitty i did not catch the name. We were seen by Dr. Rahal very quickly and she took the time to hear concerns i had and was very informative. They took excellent care of Sphynx and called the next day to see how everything went. Not only is the vet super close to where i live but the staff is absolutely wonderful. Mind you this is the first time ever going. Definitely going to be using them from now on.

Headed up to Prescott Valley for the summer in my travel trailer. A sudden and serious fire caused an immediate evacuation. Sitting at a nearby gas station, I called Dr. Rahal's office to explain that I didn't have time to grab my dogs' meds (or anything else, for that matter). She located a nearby pet clinic and arranged for them to provide their medicine until . When I arrived, Phoebe's meds were ready and they were ever so kind. In the past couple of weeks we've really had a bout of hard times with our fur babies. Unexpectedly our dog (who we call our "rock") fell pretty ill, with GI issues and it was toward the end of a day on Friday. I was desperate to not have to go to the emergency room for GI issues as funds have been tight. Our normal vet would not see our fur baby on short notice, and only advised we go to the ER. Instead, I called The Pet Wellness Center and they said they would make the time at that very moment to see my fur baby. I rushed him over, and it was not much of a wait time until she had us in the office talking thru options to help him get better. Within 1-2 days he was better! THEN.. my second dog.. who is notoriously sick and has issues :( fell sick. Again I tried to go to our normal vet - even showing up at the front door in tears when their office opened - and was turned away to go to the ER. Again I called The Pet Wellness Center - who was also booked - but said they would fit us in within 15 minutes if we came by. They did not make us check in with endless paperwork even though my doggy was new to this location. Dr. Rahal was attentive to his needs, and even took down information to address his ongoing issue (seizures) to share with their integrative/holistic doctor for another opinion. She even volunteered to monitor our doggy for four hours - without charging a ton of money to do so - to ensure she felt like she was sending him home with the best treatment recommendation for recovery. The final bill was pricey, but these things always are, and needless to say - putting my heart and mind at ease is somewhat priceless in the grand scheme of everything. I will gladly pay the bill for a vet who understands emergencies are obviously unexpected/something I can't plan an appointment for, and will still fit us in as necessary. Needless to say I am a big fan now and switching to this location as our primary care for our fur loves moving forward. Thank you to Dr. Rahal and the staff for such a consistently great experience now with both my dogs in the course of two weeks, and working to get ALL of our family members back on the up and up as soon as possible.

The Pet Wellness Center has been a great find. When it was time for the renewal of various vaccinations, I took our basset hound here and was very pleased with the experience. Recently my dog had been scratching her ears and shaking her head a lot. I called the Pet Wellness Center and they got us in that same day, which was great. The vet checked her ears and everything else - and sent us home with a happy dog. It's nice when someone understands a unique feature such as crazy basset hound ears! Definitely recommend.

I had the worst experience... the doctor had no idea what she was doing and could not diagnose my puppy. She kept trying to say he had symptoms of parvo but wouldn’t test him? We were terrified. She kept telling me to come back and have him tested. All she wanted was for me to pay another $53 copay and that’s exactly what I said and all she could say was “well yes you’re going to have another copay”. Of course when I left the office my puppy was throwing up everywhere so I took him that same day to see Dr. Page in Anthem at the anthem vet off of gavilan peak and he was outstanding. He tested my 12 week puppy twice for parvo and sure enough negative both times. She was just saying stuff to talk and had absolutely no knowledge of veterinary science whatsoever. She just wanted to rack up my bill. My sick little baby who couldn’t even stand up all day was up and running around as soon as we left his office. HIGHLY recommend them. Cheyanne the assistant was very nice at the wellness center but as far as the doctor, terrible. So much attitude towards the end of the visit as well. Such a waste of money and I should have listened to the people who told me not to come to this place.

Unbelievable service! I literally came there directly from my groomers with my Westie that was covered with allergic scabby sores. The doctor saw me right away, even though I didn't have an appointment and treated Duffy accordingly, explaining how the drugs she prescribed will work if indeed it is an allergic reaction. The charge was reasonable, as opposed to many other veterinarians in the area. I also made an appointment for teeth cleaning which was 1/3 of the price of the last vet Duffy saw. Thank you Dr. Cheryl Rahal and staff. You are a lifesaver!
