Its impossible to put into words how amazing the Vets and staff are at Small Animal Housecalls. From end of life treatment of our beloved dog to careful and gentle care of my 22 year old kitty they do it all with professionalism AND compassion! There pricing is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them!!

I don’t even know where to start with our recent interactions with Small Animal Housecalls, they have been so amazing. We had an appointment last week when we wanted to make sure we were taking the right steps with our old, declining dog. They were very informative and compassionate throughout the whole visit. We called them on Sunday evening letting them know that it was time to let our furry child move on and they called back first thing, bright and early on Monday morning with availability to help us that day. They are very very professional and knowledgeable, and I highly recommended them for your animals.

I cannot say enough about how caring and compassionate Dr. Lowrance and Dr. Varney are! We started in 2014 and found them professional, easy to schedule appointments, they return your calls promptly, genuinely care about your pet (s), and educate you on the diagnosis and/or treatment plan. They go above and beyond...we've never had such outstanding veterinarian service. We love the fact we did not have to bring in our older less mobile dog in to a clinic. Our other dog needs special medication prescribed monthly and Dr. Lowrance is so gracious to make sure this is in place. I highly recommend this vet team and know your pet will get great care. Thank you Dr. Lowrance and Dr. Varney for all you do!

We recently had to make the painful decision to put our dog "Skippy" down. Dr. Lawrence and Jason were so wonderful. They explained everything, and were very respectful. They even sent a sympathy card. I would absolutely use them again in the future. They made a very difficult situation a little easier for me and my family.

This is the place! You will be so glad you picked them! I am beyond grateful to Dr. Willcut and her assistant Stephanie. They were amazing! I cannot express how perfect our experience was. Saying goodbye to our family's sweet, 13-year-old Chrissy dog was incredibly difficult for us. However, I couldn't have asked for it to have gone any better or differently than it did. I called and spoke with several in-home places. This place just felt right. Our dog loved the 2 ladies who came and wasn't scared or nervous at all. They were both incredibly professional and compassionate. Everything went at the pace we wanted. Dr. Willcut immensely eased any worries or doubts we had. She reassured us and treated Chrissy with just as much care as any human. I love that our dog was able to be in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by love and peace. Now I can look back and smile and know we did the right thing. I cannot thank them enough for giving me that last beautiful memory to cherish forever. ♡ (Side note: They just so happened to have the best prices too. ..even though, luckily, price was not a factor for us in this situation.)

I lost my girl of 11 years, ( she was thrown from a car when she was 3 or 4, and i was lucky enough to get her) who was everything to me. Loved her as my child. She went EVERYWHERE with me for 11 years. Worst heartbreak of my life. Jason was amazing, so compassionate, and understanding. So professional. She fell asleep in my arms. Jason brought her back and transferred her to the velvet bag I bought with her urn. I can't thank them enough.

I wanted to post my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION and above all my sincere gratitude for the way both Dr Lowrance & Dr Amanda Varney helped my daughter & I through one of the most devastating & difficult decisions in my life, which was putting to rest my dearest most cherished 14 yr old cat /constant companion "Purana Muroo". Because of the immense love Muroo & I have shared I was a complete wreck & from the moment these incredible women came into my home they treated myself,my daughter and most importantly my Muroo with complete compassion,empathy,gentle touch, tender voices & yet were professional. They have perfected the art of being able to inform and prepare (as much as one can be) of each step, yet they also watched me closely for what I may have needed from them from moment to moment. They could not have been more respectful and loving toward my sweet fur baby. I am so greatful for you ladies & words cannot express this, but I wanted to make sure I convey this to both of you and also to let anyone else who may have to face the difficult decision to know I am a very picky individual & I couldn't have asked for anything to have went better I have nothing but praises for the Dr's .

When your dog lets you know "it is time," this service is the most awesome alternative. Going to a Vets office is very stressful for even the most laid back pet and when they are dying, the stress is just overwhelming. Dr. Amanda Varney and Jason came to our home and gently, lovingly and respectfully eased our lab Fletcher over that Rainbow Bridge. He was laying in his favorite spot on our bed and my husband and I laid on each side of him and talked to and petted him. Dr. Varney was super kind and told us everything before she did it and explained what to expect at each stage of the ordeal. After Fletcher slipped away, Dr Varney and Jason covered Fletcher and gently eased him on to a stretcher and carried him to their vehicle. We opted for individual cremation so in approximately 2 weeks Jason will return Fletcher's ashes to us. This is such a difficult time in a pet owners life and I don't think it ever gets easier but Dr Varney certainly made the details easier to deal with. I have several older dogs and i will use this service for each of them as their time comes. Bless you Amanda and Jason for reducing some of the stress in such a horrible situation. Both for we humans and our beloved dog. RIP Fletcher ... good dog.
