UPDATE: We continue to love every experience we have had with Dr Kovalik and the staff! We have had a number of short notice needs over the past year with our now 4 senior dogs and they have been wonderful each time. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Kovalik and the staff of Sedona Animal Clinic. We have 3 small senior rescue dogs and recently moved to the area from the Midwest with them. One has a cancer history and terrible teeth. Since we arrived in the area in January we have had two urgent issues arise with this little one and both times Sedona Animal Clinic was able to help us immediately. But, far beyond the promptness of their care has been the compassion! Our little Daphne has been such a fearful little girl due to having had quite a bit of medical intervention in the past. Dr. David, Lisa, Rosie, and Melanie ALL treated her (and us!) with such gentleness! The day of her oral surgery, Dr. David even called us at home about 9pm to personally check on her. We live 23 miles from the clinic and would drive even farther for this kind of care. There could not be a more attentive veterinarian. So, a personal THANK YOU from the Burtons to Sedona Animal Clinic.

The best vet clinic around! Dr. O' Reel really cares about what is going on with your animal and any concerns you might have. Any special instructions for after care are clear and concise. You know you have a great vet when she takes the time to call you and see how your baby is doing. My baby gives 5 stars for the dog biscuit he gets when he visits.

My husband and I moved here recently with our three small dogs. I have seen two Veterinarians back home, none of which could diagnose and treat the issue my little dog Tia was having. Dr K. From Sedona Animal Clinic Xray’d my dog and found Bladder stones. Dr. K. took the time to show me the X-rays and explained exactly what was going on. Surgery was needed to remove the stones, and my dog was back to good health in no time. I am so grateful to Dr. K and his kind compassionate staff for taking such good care of my little fur baby. Dr. K. has also seen my other two dogs, and has given them their exams, vaccinations, dental cleanings, etc... You won’t find another Veterinarian with the gentle nature, care, and concern he shows towards his patients. My dogs love him!!! My husband and I feel Sedona is truly blessed to have Dr K., and his staff (Melanie, Melinda, and Danielle) in their town. You could not ask to have a better Veterinary team locally to ensure that your pets are safe, loved, and taken care of no matter what! Sedona Animal Clinic... “You Rock”!!!!

We took one of our dogs to Dr. Kovalik for two separate issues and he provided outstanding services. Both occasions were emergencies and he kept the office open to see Cyrus. It was obvious from the moment he entered the room that he connected with him and made him feel at ease. His assessments of the dog's issues were practical and on target. Cyrus is back on the road of recovery.

Great facility and fantastic staff. I really like Dr. K and the vet techs working there. Really caring and gentle. They are honest and truth be told, my cat is fat and no other vet has really told me that. I had no idea!! (My first time being a cat owner). He’s a Maine coon but is definitely on the larger side and I really appreciate being told that he’s actually overweight. Thank you for protecting my pet’s health.

Dr. Brown and Dr. Oreel were good vets and provided compassionate care for my rescue animals through the years. Practice has been purchased by Dr. David Kovalik. He is the WORST vet I've encountered in my life. A nasty man and an uncaring veterinarian. AVOID! There are a number of other good vets in Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. Do yourself and more importantly your beloved pets a favor and find a different vet.

I can't really rate them at the moment as Dr. OReel left the practice and has moved out of Sedona. A new doctor has replaced her and I haven't met him yet. Past service was great. They took real good care of my dog when she was sick.

I can't recommend this vet enough, Dr. Oreel is amazing. My family lived in Sedona for 15+ years, and we started taking our animals to Sedona Animal Clinic with my first dog. I moved from Sedona to Cottonwood last year, and I still take my black lab here. Loving care, you can tell the doctors love your pet just as much as you do.

If you have a sick pup... take them to Sedona Animal Clinic so they can have their best chance at being healed. Our Corgi, "Sheffield" came down with many mysterious concerning symptoms.. Fever, loss of appetite (anyone who owns a Corgi knows loss of appetite is cause for alarm!), anemia, etc. It was all because of Sedona Animal Clinic that Sheffield is alive and well. They really seemed to care above and beyond. I truly believe that their Veterinary knowledge and this "caring" (from ALL staff members) made for a winning combination. We are visiting Sedona from out of town and our very old dog developed a problem. Dr. Brown evaluated him and treated him with the care and attention of someone who had cared for him all his life. The entire staff was friendly, and welcoming. Gatsby, our dog, and we thank them all very much for this wonderful delivery of expert veterinary care.
