If you're looking for a compassionate and humane place to help your fur baby to the Rainbow Bridge, I would think twice before bringing them here. Unfortunately, cheaper isn't better when it comes to that, as I had the misfortune of finding out.

We have been taking our precious shih tzu to Dr Huffman since she was a puppy. She has always received excellent care and we never had to worry about the care she was receiving the several times we had to leave her in the clinic for long periods of time. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We went through numerous visits and 2 surgeries to remove her cancer. When the time came to put her to rest, Dr Hudman was very compassionate. Everybody treated our baby with the love and respect she deserved. Thank you!

I just want to warn everyone of Kennel Care Veterinary Hospital on Chandler boulevard. We took our dogs and cats here for many years, for simple checkups and nail trimmings, with no problem. However, we recently had a real issue with our pet, and they almost cost him his life due to their negligence. They suggested over $600 of bloodwork -, which we did. The vet insisted that our cat was 10 years older than he is, despite what we told him (he's only 7). He completely blew us off. We called every day for almost 2 weeks asking for blood results. They blew us off. Finally, after more than 2 weeks, they sent an email saying our cat has coronavirus, with a generic Google search attached about coronavirus. A couple weeks later, our cat, a mere 7.5 lbs, was about to die (he was 12 lbs to begin with). Before euthanizing him, We decided to take him to Scottsdale Cat Clinic. They immediately knew that, although he has coronavirus, it wasn't the issue (most cats have coronavirus). They felt a mass in his stomach just from a simple exam, and immediately referred us to a specialist. Within the next day, he was in emergency surgery. He had a GIANT carcinoma in his colon. Had we gone with Kennel Care's original diagnoses, he would be dead now, simply because they didn't take the time or effort to do a proper exam, and blew us off when we kept calling. We almost put our cat down because of it. The carcinoma was the size of half an adult human's hand. It was so big, he couldn't poop when we took him in. The vet at Scottsdale Cat Clinic felt it instantly, with no ultrasound or anything. Post-surgery, he is now gaining weight and muscle, and just got his feeding tube removed. Dr. Nelson at Scottsdale Cat Clinic, Dr. Ford at Blue Pearl, and his surgeon Dr. Dixon saved his life. Kennel Care almost cost him his life. And now, looking back, I wonder if our dear dog Penny could've been saved. Kennel Care told us she was just eating rocks, and it turned out to be cancer that spread and caused us to put her down. I wonder whether had we taken her to a real vet, if she could've gotten surgery or treatment like our cat Rakhi. I'm thankful our boy is with us today, recovering. And I hope that no other pet is put in danger by Kennel Care. Had we not gone to Scottsdale Cat Clinic, Rakhi would be dead. That's the level of care offered at Kennel "Care"

WOW! AWESOME! So THANKFUL! This place is AMAZING! The vets at Kennel Care are through and easy to chat with. Answer all relevant questions and are just as dedicated to the care of animals as I am with my own dogs. They also work extremely well with rescues and are flexible and supportive with the outreach of the rescue service. I actually have sent friends and family who live near the location and all of them are now full time patients at this office. Dr Hudman and Dr Tuttle are awesome and I cant thank them enough!!!!

We had an emergency eye situation with our cocker spaniel, Bradley Wednesday night, contacted kennel Care Thursday morning. We were instructed to bring him to their office asap. By noon, Dr Tuttle had a diagnosis, medication issued and he was ready to be picked up. This is why our pets have been patients of Kennel Care for over 20 years. Thank you Dr. Holly Tuttle.

This is the best vet I have found. They are reasonably priced and give sensible compassionate care. They removed a tumor from my elderly dogs paw which gave him another year of quality of life for 1/3 of the cost 2 other vets wanted. When it was time to put my sweet dog down. Dr Edith Herczegh has cared for our animals for 25 years. She is one of the best in the business! There's nothing I wouldn't trust, if she's telling me, what's wrong with my animals? She's a very special person as well and Kennel Care is lucky to have her! I also know Dr Holly Tuttle and trust her advice, explicitly as well. I'm very satisfied with the care my animals have received from Kernel Care and highly recommend them as well. They also have a very nice pet resort/boarding area. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my animals here for treatment or boarding.

I've been using Dr. Hudman since 2007 after another vet had been trying but not being able to heal my dog. He was able to be objective and figure the problem out, without running up a huge vet bill. Since 2007 I have had all three of my Siberian Huskies treated at Kennel Care by Dr. Hudman with no problems. Not sure what the previous review was talking about in regards to performing services and charging without asking. I am always asked before a service is performed and there is an opportunity to discuss the expense as well. However, Dr. Hudman has always treated my dogs with their best interests and by performing services that are necessary. I have no problems recommended Dr. Hudman to anybody looking for a veterinarian

Toward the end of our dog's time with us, Dr. Herczegh was the most professional, yet personable and compassionate vet and person we could have asked for. I love this place!! I've been taking my pets here for years. The staff loves my animals and treats them extremely well. They even ask me how me and my family are doing. I recently moved to the far east valley and I still drive to Kennel Care. I trust them to treat my dogs as if they were their own. I would highly recommend them and I will never go to another vet. I also use the grooming services at Kennel Care. I have a lahsa apso/poodle mix that needs grooming often and I only take her there. I have only taken her to another groomer once and it was awful so we went back to Kennel Care. Please give them a try...amazing people.

I took my 8 year old Siberian Husky in for an annual visit and blood test (he has epilepsy). Dr. Brandt was thorough, to the point, understanding, and empathetic. She did not try to sell me on unnecessary tests and was sensitive to my concerns (I had a dog pass away from asymptomatic Valley Fever and Lymphoma in July and I am paranoid that my other dog will contract it and my previous vet capitalized on that). I appreciate having a vet who doesn't take advantage of my emotional attachment to my animals. I highly recommend Dr. Brandt and Kennel Care in general....the office staff are very courteous and friendly.

This was our first time at that veterinary hospital. The only reason we went there is because our old vet moved to that facility. When we arrived it was very busy with lots of dogs in the waiting area. There was a strong smell of poop. Not good, our old vet office never smelled like that. When our vet retires I won't be returning to that veterinary office again.

I've been taking my pets here since I moved to Chandler. In the early part of 2014 I had to put down my husky. I could not have been more pleased at how this awful experience was handled. Our doctor was so empathetic and so warm. She gave us all the time we wanted to say our final words to him and let us grieve with him once he was gone. The level of care and understanding really touched us. Afterward, she even sent us a card thanking us for trusting her with our best friend's passing. It was such a heartbreaking thing to go through, but to have someone so caring help us, that made all the difference.

This is an amazing office staffed with people who really care about pets. We have been seeing Dr. Hudman since 2001 with our first dog who had numerous health issues. We moved to Tucson and I continued to drive to chandler to see these doctors. We also had a very sick kitty who Dr Lind took to her home to care for her because she was so sick. I cannot say enough good things about these people. They just don't make them like this office anymore. Now we live 30 min away from the office and I still will not take my pets anywhere else. My vacation had been planned for several months, 2 days before my flight the person I had set up to house sit my cats had to go out of town for training. I didn't have time to find another pet sitter and decided my only other option was to board my cats. I've never boarded any of my animals and was vehemently against it, but was out of options. I researched boarding kennels, asked around, and found that Kennel Care Veterinary Hospital was not only close to home, but came highly recommended. I brought along a Ziploc of their regular food and a couple of toys and placed them together in a "Suite" kennel. They took fantastic care of my babies. I was worried about them and called while I was away and they took the phone to their kennel so I could talk to them. Kennel Care was a life saver. I enjoyed the rest of my vacation worry free and am ever so grateful for their services. I’m no longer an opponent of boarding animals and will most certainly utilize their boarding services in the future.

I absolutely love kennel care and will never go anywhere else.I would drive past all the vets on my way to kennel care in an emergency just to see dr. Lind dr. Brant or dr. Hudman. That's saying alot these are my babies. I have been to a various number of vets and they were all too worried about getting paid rather than making sure my babies are healthly. Was given and estimate for 927.00 yes 927.00 just for shots. my baby buddy was a cryptorchid ( 1 testicle in stomach area) so he needed an additional incision for testicle to be removed during being neutered and he has a collapsed trechea and kennel care did an excellent job making sure I was comfortable and he was safe being put to sleep for the surgery. When it was all finished i could barley see the incisions and the price was half the cost on my previous estimate for shots. Dr. Lind and Dr. Brant are amazing and the staff are friendly they even called the next day to see how buddy and bella were doing and again 3 days after that (I had them both fixed at the same time).I have never had a vet office call to check on my babies they always told me to contact them. BOTTOM LINE IS THEY TRULY CARE FOR YOUR PETS AS IF THEY ARE THEIR OWN. prices are great too and they will work with you they even let me do payments. GREAT veterinarians all I can say please try them you'll be happy
