I've had to take 2 of my animals to them. I've now had 3 different vets. Each is as caring and knowledgeable as the last. They go out of there way to make sure you and your animal are comfortable. They answer all your questions and make certain you are comfort and confident with anything you need to do. The techs are just as caring. Each time I take my animals in there is a parade of people coming to love on them and see how they are doing. When it comes to call backs, they are the best! They have on several occasions called me and my wife separately due to our locations. The vets and techs have spent countless minutes and hours on the phone addressing concerns and answering our questions.

I've been coming here for over 30 years! I Love the service, the people, the atmosphere, everything! I've had 5 dogs and a cat, these people actually care about you and your pets! They take care of our three dogs wonderfully! One loves going to the Vet, the other two want to weigh and leave. My daughter just moved here and her dog now goes to them. He use to go to Pet Smart, where she said she would just drop her dog off and sometime later that day she would get a call to come and pick him up. With what had been done. This was even for shots or just a check-up. She and her dog are much happier here with their new doctors and their team.

The results, treatment, and long term care for your pet is explained in a caring way. The surgery for our cat was done with great care, and a caring follow up call was done. With apt to take out stitches. Tests for our other cat, and results for kidney failure, and long term treatment were explained. So glad we found this vet clinic. Thank you to all the staff. Family Vet Care on Gilbert & Southern is pretty much my brood of cats primary care. Dr Cooper does excellent work and is very friendly and compassionate. She surgically removed this stray cats tail, almost immediately when I told her he needed this done because an evil human tried to cut it off. The front office staff are very sweet, kind and attentive. They always answer all my questions and emails. Very competent, efficient office.

I will never go to any other vet, no matter where I live. Dr. Travis Wodiske is hands down the best vet EVER. The whole office has been nothing but amazing for us, but Dr. Wodiske is my favorite. He honestly loves animals so much, and it shows. He takes the time to connect with us and our dogs, and talk about life. Definitely do not feel rushed here. Our boxers absolutely love him. One thing I particular like, is he helps no matter what and never makes you feel bad for anything. Our past vet was really rude when it came to the topic of breeding. I can understand where she came from and why people have strong opinions about it. However, Dr. Wodiske just wants to help, educate, and be there for us. He makes me feel very welcomed. I took my poodle to Dr. Lexi Siler for anal gland expression and I felt very unsatisfied with the service they offered me. They didn't do much work with my dog. I felt like they didn't know how to check my dog. Tech even said she wouldn't take temperature. I just wished they would have done a better job or showed they cared a little bit more for my poodle. In addition, over the phone they said one price ($25expression, $33Dr) but once there they brought me an estimate of $200 or so...!!

I had to change VETS for SAMMY, only because after our move, the long distance drive has become too much. Gratefully, this VET has an unbelievably kind, friendly, kind and loving staff! From the frt desk to the Vet assistant, AND the Dr! Sammy never complained, AND enjoyed meeting everyone. And some dogs in the lobby!! 1 doggy was so tiny compared to all 99 lbs of Sam, that SAMMY didn't know quite what to think if it! Was adorable to watch! SAMMY needed a few tests, shots and pedicure! LOL- pedicures are not Sam's favorite, but they look Great! A plan for SAMMY was shown to me, prior to them starting his exam, etc. Prices are reasonable, with a 1st visit discount! Today I received a call checking in on my SAMMY! Very thoughtful and very appreciated. We'll be continuing our VET CARE here for my beloved Sammy!

Expensive, they make it hard to be able to afford to take your cat in when something is wrong. They immediately want to make the visit cost over $200 and the urine test that they do for the annual checkup hurts the cats a lot. It is cruel and unnecessary for healthy cats.

They quoted me a price on the phone for a heart worm prevention shot. When I called back less than 5 minutes later to make the appointment, they told me it was $20 more for the shot that they already quoted me, and it wasn't because of her weight. They also failed to mention that they had to do a heart worm test before they could give her the shot. So the price went up by about 40 % in less than 5 minutes. Very frustrating, bad customer service in that aspect. I will not be going to this facility any more after 6 years with them.

We are very happy with Family Vetcare. Stumbled upon them years ago for help with our dog that got parvo. they were very accommodating and kind, healing her back to health. We got 5 more years with her before she passed away. The second time they did everything they could to make her comfortable in her passing. I wanted to thank Dr Cooper, who I saw this past week for my cat. Making what is normally a very traumatic experience for both of us bearable. My cat has gotten aggressive in the past at other vet clinics, making it stressful to bring her anywhere. Dr cooper was kind and calm even when my cat got scared and aggressive at our appt. I didn't feel like I was being scolded like I had in the past because of her behavior. I appreciate her and the kind staff; in how they handled her, making me feel more at ease. I am glad that she was able to be assessed safely and well cared for. I don't mind the 30 minute drive and we'll will continue to take all our pets to Family Vetcare in the future.

MY FURKIDS AND I LOVE THIS PLACE! I take all my kiddos here! That’s 1 Dane, 2 Pugs, and they have met 2 out of my 4 cats. Dr. Cooper and the team are fantastic! I spoke with Megan on the phone and made an appointment, but when my cat got worse, she told me to come right in. I was taken right to a private room. My husband and I have taken our cat to quite a few places in the past and never had a good experience but the first time we came to family Vetcare I knew we finally found one we could come back to. Our cat Irie has had some dental work here among other things and they were always caring and gentle with her. She's a bit older now so I'm glad we have a vet that will treat our fur baby like we'd want to be treated.

They performed surgery on my lil 7lb chihuahua n her legs are even worse now plus they quoted me a price and on surgery day when I came to get her I was charged around $400 more then the quote plus I was charged for things I should've not been n never have seen a xray to date and when I called and complained no one even bother to call me back or do a follow-up several weeks later so as far as im concerned they can rot in hell and I'm reporting the clinic going to a new vet today to her xrays and findout what's really going on!!!!!

I brought my dog Brodie in for a dental cleaning. I knew his teeth were bad but didn't realize exactly how bad. Dr. Wodiske had warned me that several teeth may be damaged beyond repair, but that he would call me during the procedure to elaborate on exactly what needed to be done. He explained that 8 teeth were painful and infected, and these teeth had to be removed. I had complete trust in his recommendations, and appreciated the time he spent to explain in detail what was best for my dog. I really appreciated the care and compassion Dr. Wodiske and the entire Family VetCare team showed. They really do treat each animal as if it were their own. We are glad we finally found a hospital that is truly passionate about what they do. Thanks Dr. Wodiske & Family VetCare Team!

We called this Vet during our search for boarding for our dog and cat and couldn't be happier. We booked right away and couldn't wait to meet them. When we got there, they were so sweet, friendly and immediately made our Scottish Terrier, Raven and our cat, Shiloh feel at home. We immediately switched our Vet services over to them. Our former Veterinarian, here in Mesa, never made us feel totally comfortable otherwise we would've boarded our beloved pets with them again... Directions said “2mL by mouth every 12 hours for 10 days” 2 mL * 2 times a day * 10 days = 40mL They gave me one 20mL bottle with no refills

The doctor was a total gem! The staff was genuinely interested in my puppies well being and they were so sweet to all of the other patients that came and left. They treated everyone very well! The staff treated my puppy and sent her home within about an hour with a solution for her broken leg. This place will become my dogs permanent vet preference!

I have been taking Daiziemae to Family Vet Care of Mesa for almost 7 years now. When we had an emergency ,the regular vet was not available. I was a little nervous about a different veternarian. In a few minutes those fears were non-existant. All was well. Daizie had to have some surgery and had to stay. All was well again. My husband had an emergency surgery as well. Daizie stayed in the kennel there for the duration of the hospital stay. All of the staff were kind,attentive and concerned about my husband and went above and beyond to acommadate Daizie and her separation anxiety. I would not hesitate if I needed the services again.

any way we can give zero stars?? This place is joke, this is from someone who has many dogs, for so many years, we have been moving so many times, and finding bad and good doctors for our babies; but never one like this place. All we ever wanted was to get a lepto vaccine for a 2 little frenchtons, and they TOLD ME ON THE PHONES BEFORE that the first visit would be a consultation with the vet, and 2 weeks later the booster would only require a tech visit. We got there today to get the booster done and they want to charge us the consultation/examination for each dog again??? Like hello???? I searched prices with our old vet and this (that was suppose to be the new one) and both said the booster visit was just a quick tech visit. DOCTOR REFUSED TO SHOW UP IN THE ROOM BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY, tech vet had the courage to say SHE IS NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY hahahaha did not even gave her face to explain herself with the miscommunication given by them, and the manager did not talk to me on phones because manager was gone. Tech was extremely fake and rude, and said she was going to call the police on me, it is not about $80 more or less, is about doing what was told to your patients/clients; now my dogs are not fully protect from lepto AND I WILL HAPPILY DRIVE 2 hours out to reach our old vet clinic. DR PATRICK you are a joke and not professional at all with your own patients, and also coward, and not showing up to help with the situation BECAUSE I REFUSED TO PAY 2 EXAMINATIONS FOR 2 DOGS IN LESS THEN A 2 WEEK PERIOD!!!!

Great place to take your animals. The staff there is friendly and caring. I had brought a stray kitten there that was Ill and they were able to diagnose her symptoms right away and get her the proper treatment and medication needed.

Don't shop around for a vet - this facility/staff is superb. I've never been to a better vet in my life. All the Drs are excellent, they all adore animals - the techs are friendly/competent, and the office staff are very accommodating. The facility is spotless. You won't be disappointed!!!!!!!!
