I can't believe all these people have given them 5 stars. They only care about profits. They have TRIED to charge me for unnecessary blood tests and vaccines. Their rates are much higher than other vets in this area. After a few very expensive years I've moved on with my two dogs.

Being new to Sun Lakes, AZ. we looked into "Nextdoor" for recommendations for a veterinarian to help us with a medical concern with our dog Abby. One clinic that has several very good reviews was the Animal Medical Center of Chander. I gave them a call and was able to got our dog in the following day. They have a very large and comfortable waiting room. I had pre filled the paper work on line ahead of time which saved some time. Abby was first examined by a very knowledgeable assistant. Dr Andrea Strickland, DMV who is the owner then did a very thorough examination of Abby and asked questions about her lifestyle. It was pretty much determined she had a strained a muscle in her leg and hip. Dr. Strickland spent at least 30 min. Checking her out. I highly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Chandler for the ease of getting an appointment, friendliness and caring of the staff, the thoroughness of the Doctor and assistant. Much also mention their prices are very fair.

My dog, an American Eskimo, has had digestive issues going back quite a long time. We recently moved to Arizona and when he had a flare up and was feeling pretty bad, we we were referred to Animal Medical Center of Chandler (this was after a very unsatisfactory visit elsewhere). The atmosphere from the staff could not have been more welcoming. We were so fortunate to see Dr. Stickland on a Saturday morning. She diagnosed our dog like no one ever had. Spent lots of time with us explaining everything. We went home with minor meds and special food It seems almost unbelievable but within 24 hours, he was like a different dog. His energy level was high, his obvious symptoms disappeared and he loved the food. We would give the highest recommendation to this Center and to Dr. Stickland and the staff.

Maida's great customer service and sincerity made all the difference when trying to find a primary vet for my dog. We moved from Minnesota to Arizona in February. I had been trying to find a vet I liked since then. It is now November and my dog was having some stomach issues last week. So I started my search again last Saturday. I called 6 vets before calling AMC of chandler. Maida answered when I called and it was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and not at all annoyed with ALL my questions. Her concern for my dog showed how much she really cares about animals and how much she understands how important they are to their owners. The biggest difference in her attitude compared to the other vets I called was that this wasn't "just a job" but something she really cares about and enjoys doing. I compliment Maida over the phone and she thanked me and said everyone at that place is like family. I made an appt with high hopes that the rest of the staff was just as nice, caring, and sincere. I wasnt let down one bit! From the receptionist, vet techs, to the Doctor. Everyone was great! I will be returning to AMC of chandler and I'm happy to call it his new place of care! Greatful with this office, that as a new patient my 3yr old husky was able to get an appointment the next day & pretty sure that they would of given him a same day appointment but I called them 15 minutes before closing & i live 35 minutes away in the city of Maricopa. Couldn’t find an appointment in Maricopa to see my dog that was in pain with an ear & eye infection. They were booked 2wks out. Glad i made the drive out to chandler. Stafff very friendly & professional. Front desk was fast & kind. Was called back within just a few minutes of arriving. Vet assistant was the best, forgot her name but she was amazing. Wish the doctor spend more time with my dog. She wasn’t in the room more then 5 minutes but glad she prescribed my dog the right medication.

We have been taking our "girls" actually there were 5, here for years. My husband and I love everyone at the clinic. We just lost our precious little Daisie and without their support and comfort, it would have even been more unbearable. We have recommended several friends and family to them and all still take their pets there. For us and "our girlies", ages from 15 yrs to 12yrs, there is no other clinic. This place is great! My dog had a sudden injury so I needed a quick appointment.They got me in right away and I was able to fill out all the paperwork online before my appointment. Vanessa was our tech and was so good with our dog. All three vets even stopped in to say hello see how we were doing during the appointment. Dr. Durig spent the whole visit right on the floor with my dog Ella and was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They had my prescriptions over at the pharmacy before I even got there and my receipt emailed to me which was great. I even got a follow up call checking in to see how everything was going. We were unfortunate in the fact that we had to give our puppy back a week after getting her due to health issues with my child and we signed up for their puppy plan so we called to cancel the puppy plan and they told me they would call me back to let me know what they were going to do and they charged my card without notification. Love the AMC of Chandler and the staff there! Dr. Duregger is fabulous - kind, patient, and caring to both the pets and the owners. We've been in and out of there so many times lately with one of our dogs, and they never treat us like we're just nervous nancies (the dog is 14 so we're not first time pet owners). The follow up care is great, RX refill scheduling and pickup is simple and ready on time. Great facility, lovely staff, can't say enough kind words about them.

I was recommended to use this office from a friend. I'm so glad I listened because I have never taken my pets to a vet I absolutely love. The amount of care and love they have for animals is remarkable. They have been seeing both my puppies sense day one. I even ran into an emergancy and spoke with a vet tech over the phone, who scheduled my pups into their already fully booked day. I was warned for a wait time and expected to sit for maybe an hour. To my absolute surprise, my pups were being checked out within 15 minutes of me arriving. They took such care of my little fur babies after the scare I had. On top of how much love they have for their fury clients, their customer service is beyond expectations. They treat each person with so much kindness. I've never felt rushed while checking in or out. They take their time with each person and fury pet to get to know them better. I've even been helped out, without even asking, when I had my hands full. We have used Adrea and Carolyn for many years. They have treated our mini schnauzer and most recently, our Vizsla, Chance. He is now a senior citizen having been in their care for over 11 years, and the level of care and professionalism is above any other vet clinic in the valley. We have always had very positive experiences as customers of Animal Medical Center of Chandler. We moved to south Chandler in the fall of last year but continued for a while to take our dogs to our previous vet in east Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The distance became a problem as one of our dogs has serious allergies and required frequent visits. We checked out the few ratings we could find online about vets in our area and made the decision to contact AMC of Chandler. So glad we did. I have had a great experience with the Animal Medical Center of Chandler. They are my regular veterinarian, and I took my Pitbull there when I noticed a mass on his leg a few months ago. They performed tests and determined that the mass was cancerous, and AMC (Dr. Diltz) worked to help refer me to a specialized surgeon since the mass was in a tricky spot. AMC was fantastic about sending me quotes, referrals and literature very quickly, and they were extremely helpful and flexible in helping my Pit get the treatment he needed. I had even scheduled my dog to have his teeth cleaned at AMC, but Dr. Diltz recommended deferring the dental cleaning until the mass was removed, and I definitely appreciated the comprehensive approach that they took towards my dog's health. I highly recommend them.

When you walk into Dr. Andreas clinic you feel welcomed by smiling friendly staff at front desk. By the atmosphere in the clinic you can feel how much love there is offered to your baby pets. Walked in because my dog had a wound on his nose that has been bleeding profusely all day off and on. Today is Tuesday and the young lady up front told me that she couldn't see me until Friday morning unless it was on an emergency visit basis taking the rate from 45 to 119 dollars. I asked if she or the doctor could recommend a way I could bandage his nose as I was at a loss trying several methods. Her response was unfortunately without seeing him I can not tell you how to do this or recommend any options. So they have time for me at 2.5 x the rate, but can't give me a suggestion on how to slow the problem until he can be seen. I thought vets are supposed to care about the animals and helping them. Apparently this facility only cares about money. Vets like this make me sick. I get this isn't a charity and they have to make their money. I have no problem with that and if they simply would have just helped me a little I would have brought both my dogs there in the future as they are so close to my house. At this point I wouldn't step foot back in that place.
