I'm not sure if I've ever been happier with a vet, and that's saying a lot because I have seen and really liked several in previous cities. We just moved to Montgomery a couple of weeks ago. Last Friday our pug, Percy, started to show some signs of serious pain, so I researched vets and found Taylor Crossing. From the getgo everything about this place has been fantastic - they were able to see us same day (even though it was late when I called), took us back to a room immediately, were super friendly, well organized, knowledgable. The office was very clean. I seriously can't say enough good things about them. It turned out our little guy had a pretty serious spinal injury. They kept him overnight, and someone was there with him the whole time. The vet we saw, Dr. King, was fantastic, even coming in to check on our dog (and others) on Saturday. He even called me Monday to check on Percy and see how he was faring on the medication. He and his staff helped talk me through everything I needed to know about Percy's condition, how to care for him, and help him bounce back. I am infinitely grateful for everything Dr. King and his staff have done to help Percy. It's going to make finding a vet after our next move even tougher, but I'm thrilled I get to use them for the next year!

Now that I understand "cat only" hours, I am happy again. Those are for cats who are disturbed by dogs. Otherwise, you can bring your cat in during regular hours. The staff is wonderful, helpful and caring. Dr. Speight is an excellent vet. I would definitely recommend Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital.

I never got my dogs report cards, which really upset me because I couldn’t see how they did, but on their Facebook page I saw a picture of my dog being held and it made me feel a little better. They were some very nice people who work there and some others who were not so nice. I believe my dogs had a good time but the way a lady took my puppy out of my hand and tried to immediately take her back when I got there upset me because I didn’t even get to say goodbye.

Prior to our appointment for our dog Layla, Dr. King went out of his way to allow us to bring in one of the local neighborhood feral cats, who had been incapacitated in some way hours before, to humanely end his suffering. To know that the staff at TCAH hold the same regard for ALL animals’ care as we do is encouraging to say the least. I’d like to also thank Raven for taking the call and relaying our urgent request to the techs and ultimately to Dr. King. It was satisfying to know that the feral we endearingly referred to as “Tom” was able to pass with dignity and with as little suffering a possible.

My husband and I highly recommend Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital. We take our dog, Tuck, to their day care program at least twice a week! He loves playing with other dogs and gets so excited whenever I mention he's going. We occasionally board him when we're out of town and TC always takes excellent care of him. Dr.Loch is the best vet ever. I have NEVER had a vet spend as much time discussing options for the treatment of severe allergies and repeated ear infections that has affected my dog for 6 years. She not only recommended a diet that has changed my dogs life, she personally walked out to the lobby with me to show me the diet options. Other vets never made the recommendations she did. She is so caring and is gentle with my shy dog. No vet has ever gotten down to the floor to give my dog a shot to keep her as calm as possible. We have been using Taylor Crossing for 16 years. Dr. Speight, Dr. King, Dr. Mitchell, and most recently Dr. Loch have always been fantastic, even when we had serious illnesses and decisions with our dogs. Dr. Speight treated our dachshund for 14 years and helped us so compassionately when she was at the end. Dr. Loch helped us get our daughter's dog to a specialist in Birmingham for life saving surgery and came in late at night to treat our dachshund in an emergency. Most recently she helped us adopt a sweet little dachshund! The boarding services are excellent and the staff nice and helpful. We would recommend them to everybody!

Let me tell you how great this place is for multiple reasons: I had just moved to Montgomery and had yet to get a new vet set up for my fur babies when tragedy happened. My 12 year old shepherd got bit by a copperhead late at night, I frantically called the closest vet and was transferred to Dr. Lock who was on call. She preceded to tell me how to get to the vet and said she would meet me there and that her vet tech was already on-site waiting. They immediately started on her and they were so comforting to my dog and I. I'm happy to say they saved her life! On to her check-up, I brought up a question about my 5 year old diabetic cat who wasn't doing so well with her current treatment (this wasn't even her visit mind you) Dr. Lock listened to everything I had to say and told me about how she specializes in feline medicine and asked me to bring her in, that she might have an answer. I brought her in and they did everything they could to keep costs low but exceptional care to figure out what was going on. Fast forward a couple months, not only is my cat doing fantastically better, she went from and emaciated, ravenous, sad thing, to a gloriously spunky, healthy almost 10 pound cat! If you are looking for a vet that cares not because they have to but because they want to look no further. The tech staff is wonderfully kind and helpful, always a smile and how are you when you are there. I will never go to another vet if I can help it.

Took my dog for a routine operation, to make a long said story short, he did not survive the operation. While I understand accidents happen, I was was not impressed by the way the vet handled it. The vet was very nonchalant in the way he informed me of my dog passing. To this day I have not been informed of the exact cause of his death. (This happened back in February) Although they covered all the costs, it would be nice to get some closure.

Taylor Crossing is the best vet in this area! My husband and I drove an hour and a half to take our sick baby to get emergency care! The staff was so friendly and was happy to be there even though it was Valentine's night and they could have been home with their families! Dr. Loch treated my baby with so much love and kindness! She was so understanding and wanted to do whatever she could to make her feel better! I was so sad to have to leave her overnight, but I knew instantly that she would be loved and taken care of! The facilities were top-notch and extremely clean! They even let us go to the back area to tell her good-bye before we left! There is also 24 hour care as someone lives, yes lives, there and watches over the animals through the night! Dr. Loch has already called me twice with an update on her care and told me I was welcome to call anytime to hear from her! If you love your furry babies like they are a member of your family, then I HIGHLY suggest visiting this vet office! I know you will not be disappointed!

We've used all areas of the practice (surgery, critical care, preventative care, day care and boarding) and they've all been top notch for our 5 dogs! We wouldn't think of going anywhere else! The doctors, technicians and administrative staff always greet us with a smile and know our names, as well as all of the dogs' names! The investment in diagnostic equipment is fantastic and extensive! None of our dogs have ever had to be referred out to another clinic. Thumbs up!!

We love Dr. Mitchell and all the staff. They take great care of both Daisy & Lily. Dr Mitchell has done a luxating patella surgery on Daisy and just spayed Lily. He always takes time to answer any questions or concerns. We had to board them for a family funeral and they took great care and sent photos and I was able to call and talk with staff to see how it was going!

Taylor Crossing has been my veterinary clinic for many years. This past Saturday my cat had to have emergency abdominal surgery to remove large obstructions in her intestines and stomach. Dr. Jessica Loch performed the surgical procedure after hours. She is absolutely wonderful!! She was so kind getting me prepared for leaving Cali for the first time ever. Dr. Loch promptly called after the surgery was complete with a full update and anticipated progress. I could not be happier. A scary time for any pet owner was made so much more manageable due to the expertise and caring of Dr. Loch!! While I was anxious, waiting two days to bring my kitty home, I knew that Dr. Loch and the clinic staff were giving the best possible care. Thank You Dr. Loch!!

Great veterinary group! I didn't have a vet in the area and brought my 2 older kitties in for check-ups and shots. Dr. Mitchell & the staff were caring, patient, and skilled. The prices are fair and reasonable, no surprises. I love that Dr. Mitchell called to say their lab tests were normal. It's a bonus that they are open on Saturdays. Update: 7/29/2018: In the past year I have boarded my cats, and taken one in for a sick visit. I would give 6 stars if I could. Dr Mitchell is wonderful. He takes great care of my kitties, is reasonable about all recommendations, and he's personable and easy to talk to. I love the nurses, techs, front desk staff. I haven't encountered anyone who is not kind and caring. I had a fabulous vet in NYC, I didn't think I would ever find anyone as good, but I have. Thank you for caring.

Had both of my dogs stay in a suite for two nights while I was in New York. I called to check on the dogs to make sure everything was good to go. They told me everything was fine and the dogs were doing great. When I picked my dogs up they were covered in pee and poop. My little one looked like he hadn't eaten anything the whole time he was there. When I asked if anyone had checked on my dogs while they were there they said yes we made sure they were clean. Which is a complete lie if both of my dogs are covered in pee and poop. When I asked if the little one had eaten anything they said he barely ate but we didn't think it was a concern to tell you after questioning them further. I'm very disappointed with the level of care they provided my pets.

Taylor Crossing has been my veterinary clinic for many years. This past Saturday my cat had to have emergency abdominal surgery to remove large obstructions in her intestines and stomach. Dr. Jessica Loch performed the surgical procedure after hours. She is absolutely wonderful!! She was so kind getting me prepared for leaving Cali for the first time ever. Dr. Loch promptly called after the surgery was complete with a full update and anticipated progress. I could not be happier. A scary time for any pet owner was made so much more manageable due to the expertise and caring of Dr. Loch!! Great veterinary group! I didn't have a vet in the area and brought my 2 older kitties in for check-ups and shots. Dr. Mitchell & the staff were caring, patient, and skilled. The prices are fair and reasonable, no surprises. I love that Dr. Mitchell called to say their lab tests were normal. It's a bonus that they are open on Saturdays. Update: 7/29/2018: In the past year I have boarded my cats, and taken one in for a sick visit. I would give 6 stars if I could. Dr Mitchell is wonderful. He takes great care of my kitties, is reasonable about all recommendations, and he's personable and easy to talk to. I love the nurses, techs, front desk staff. Had both of my dogs stay in a suite for two nights while I was in New York. I called to check on the dogs to make sure everything was good to go. They told me everything was fine and the dogs were doing great. When I picked my dogs up they were covered in pee and poop. My little one looked like he hadn't eaten anything the whole time he was there. When I asked if anyone had checked on my dogs while they were there they said yes we made sure they were clean. Which is a complete lie if both of my dogs are covered in pee and poop. When I asked if the little one had eaten anything they said he barely ate but we didn't think it was a concern to tell you after questioning them further. I'm very disappointed with the level of care they provided my pets.

Our whole experience from booking their stay, to dropping them off, and picking them up, has been top notch. We even got a report card listing how their visit was. The staff at the front desk was always professional when dealing with them, and the dogs smelled great coming home (from their baths.) I cannot recommend this boarding highly enough. I will send anyone and everyone I can to your business. My fiancé and I are very controlling when it comes to our dogs (most people are I'm sure.) and TCAH met and exceeded our expectations. The report card was a great touch, because usually when you board your pets, you go away, come home, and wonder "what happened while we were away, and how did they do?" The report card broke it all down. The have soft stools the first day (they stress I'm sure.) it tells how their temperament was, exercise, comments for our specific dogs. It was wonderful. 5/5 new favorite place.

I have only been using Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital about 6 months. My 12 1/2 year old German Shepherd mix Cocoa is my baby girl. She has always been a healthy doggie until this year. Dr. Loch diagnosed her with liver cancer. She has been really sick on and off. Dr. Loch goes out of her way to help any way she can. She met me on a Sunday when Cocoa was very sick and the treatment she gave made her feel much better. Dr. Loch was supposed to pick up her kids that afternoon so her husband could be somewhere, but she stayed for Cocoa and her husband brought her kids to the clinic. (It made me feel bad to inconvenience her) but she was kind about it, smiled and said don't worry. She works with me on the best choice of medications since they can be very expensive. However, she is honest about what is the best choice for your baby. She also has suggested things I could do for Cocoa's diet that would make things easier since her appetite has not been like it should. I can ask her any question and if she doesn't know, she will research it and get me an answer. For instance, Holistic type care and etc. She will tell me if it is worth a try along with what she is doing for Cocoa and if not, why. She is extremely knowledgeable about pet health care. She is so kind and loving and my Cocoa does well with her. She honestly is hands down the best vet I have ever used and I will always use Dr. Loch and Taylor Crossing. They have been a God send to me. Thank you Dr. Loch for all you have done. You get a big A+ from me and Cocoa!

We’ve used TCAH since it first opened in the early 90’s. Always found the staff to be courteous and eager to meet our pets needs. All the vets have been knowledgable and compassionate concerning our pets health care. Dr. Speight diagnosed my dog Odetta with chronic leukemia. His treatment knowledge and concern for Odetta’s quality of life meant I got to spend two more years with her. I still treasure that brief extension of her life. Additionally TCAH has kept pace with new developments in veterinary care for companion animals (dogs and cats). I highly recommend TCAH for pet care, boarding and other services.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new vet and boarding facility. They came highly recommended and the reviews looked great so while on vacation we boarded our dog. We went to pick him up on a Sunday and it was very hectic, as expected when you have 1 hour to pick up your pet. I overheard an employee explaining to an older couple that their dog did not get a bath during their stay and ask if they wanted them to wash her then. I thought nothing of it and headed home. Once home, I noticed my dog had not been bathed( a requirement for boarding with an additional $34 fee added in). Nor his nails clipped or ears cleaned. The next week I took him to get it done elsewhere where they agreed it definately had not been done the previous week. I called Taylor Crossing back to let them know I had paid for a service that I did not receive. The lady who answered was very nice and said they would credit the fee off. About an hour later another lady called and did confirm that my dog did not get a bath at all. She said I could bring him back in and they would do it at no charge. After I told her what the other young lady told me about crediting off the charges, she said she could not do that. I explained to her that I live over 40 miles away and I could not drive over an hour there and back for a free shampoo. I have a problem first with being charged for something I did not receive. Worse than that is the fact that they were just going to keep the money and not say anything about it. And finally to not refund the money that I paid for services not received??? And you want me to come back!!!!??? NO THANK YOU!!

This is the best veterinary experience I have ever had! I brought in my 3mo old kitten, who I suspected may have an upper respiratory infection. I love the fact that the two waiting rooms are separated for dogs and cats! I was immediately taken back to the exam room, which had been customized for the comfort of my cat. There was a cat tower/tree, toys, soothing music, and she was free to get out of her carrier and move about which diminished her stress level immensely. Dr. Jessica Loch was incredible and helped walk me through the process of taking care of my little sick kitty! They gave her treats/food to help distract her from her shots, and in the end they sent me home with a "goody bag" for my kitty, which had treats, a little toy, a food measuring cup/can saver, and tons of info on kittens and how to properly care for them. We have definitely found our veterinary home- I have never been to a practice that caters just as much to cats as it does to dogs. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Loch! **UPDATE 2/13/19** still so pleased with this facility!!! I love Dr. Loch and all of the vet techs I’ve encountered! So kind, understanding, patient, and helpful. My kitty does not like the vet or many new people but this facility definitely makes a vet visit the easiest process that it could possibly be. They are so cat friendly! I even got a little Calm-the-Kitty guide with tips and tricks for soothing a cat for a trip to the vet. Love this place, cannot rave about them enough!

When we had to put down our almost 12 year old yellow lab, Tucker, Dr. King met us on a Sunday morning and was very patient and understanding as we dealt with the unexpected and heartbreaking situation. Two years later, we went through cancer with our 9 year old corgi. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Loch was through the whole process. She kept us informed and patiently and thoroughly explained all our options as we dealt with Joey's cancer. When we had to finally put Joey down, she prayed with us and cried with us and helped us say goodbye. The entire staff at TCAH made that awful day bearable by the way they all reacted and showed their genuine concern and sadness at Joey's passing. Dr. Loch went out of her way, and above and beyond, to help us make the right decisions for our family (both human and canine). When we got a new corgi puppy, and he had a UTI, Dr. Loch was right there ready to see us for a last minute, late afternoon appointment. She didn't rush and took her time to thoroughly check out our new baby and reassure us. Charlie Mays is almost a year old now and we wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else!

Horrible Service Brought my cat here for treatment of a condition I already researched and knew he had, but wanted professional confirmation and a recommendation. The vet tech confirmed my suspicions and took my boy to the back room, stating she wanted to get his vitals and weight. After a while she returned him to the front, stating matter-of-factly that she'd already given him the shot as well, without asking me! I had wanted to discuss his treatment options, but no options were given to me. This would never happen with a human child - the doctor would be held accountable for malpractice! This was a major breach of trust and I will definitely never return here!

My husband and I can't thank the doctors and staff enough for the way in which they cared for our two aging dogs in their last months. Dr. Loch answered all of my questions with knowledge and patience. While we were out of town, our dog sitter found one of our dogs in distress. Dr. King sent two wonderful techs to pick up our baby and take him to the clinic. We had to eventually let go of both of our dogs, and each time it was done with professionalism, great care, and love by the doctors and staff. It needs to be priced better. They charge you a lot and its getting higher and higher on the dollar side with their popularity. Service has been good so far. Also lot of shots that are not required are made mandatory.

Dr. Loch is just awesome! I have a 7 yr. old male cat who absolutely hated to ride. Dr. Loch has helped me so much with this. I now use a harmless, gentle sedative on him and use a calming spray in his carrier. This has really made a difference. I also like the option of bringing him to see Dr. Loch on “ Cat Only” nights- offered every other Monday. The quiet environment really calms him and he loves the treats offered to him! Dr. Loch has cleaned his teeth and treated him for a bad ear infection recently. His teeth are very clean and white now and his ears are just fine. She ( and her vet techs) are caring , gentle, and most efficient with him. I highly recommend Dr. Loch !!

Taylor Crossing is an amazing veterinary facility that has grown in their ability to care for my 5 pets over the 15years we've used them. As someone who seems to get "unique" pets, I was amazed by the technology they housed under their roof and how ahead of the times they are. We've made a few emergency visits and calls which were always responded to quickly and with the utmost care. I can honestly say I have met all the vets and most the staff and they truly care for my pets and make us feel comfortable in their presence. Currently we see Dr. Loch and my experiences with her have only ensured that I will continue to recommend Taylor Crossing. Afterall, if you can't fully discuss your pet's diagnosis, the tests, treatment options, and that thing you found online, you probably aren't seeing my vet.

We’ve used TCAH since it first opened in the early 90’s. Always found the staff to be courteous and eager to meet our pets needs. All the vets have been knowledgable and compassionate concerning our pets health care. Dr. Speight diagnosed my dog Odetta with chronic leukemia. His treatment knowledge and concern for Odetta’s quality of life meant I got to spend two more years with her. I still treasure that brief extension of her life. Additionally TCAH has kept pace with new developments in veterinary care for companion animals (dogs and cats). I highly recommend TCAH for pet care, boarding and other services.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new vet and boarding facility. They came highly recommended and the reviews looked great so while on vacation we boarded our dog. We went to pick him up on a Sunday and it was very hectic, as expected when you have 1 hour to pick up your pet. I overheard an employee explaining to an older couple that their dog did not get a bath during their stay and ask if they wanted them to wash her then. I thought nothing of it and headed home. Once home, I noticed my dog had not been bathed( a requirement for boarding with an additional $34 fee added in). Nor his nails clipped or ears cleaned. The next week I took him to get it done elsewhere where they agreed it definately had not been done the previous week. I called Taylor Crossing back to let them know I had paid for a service that I did not receive. The lady who answered was very nice and said they would credit the fee off. About an hour later another lady called and did confirm that my dog did not get a bath at all. She said I could bring him back in and they would do it at no charge. After I told her what the other young lady told me about crediting off the charges, she said she could not do that. I explained to her that I live over 40 miles away and I could not drive over an hour there and back for a free shampoo. I have a problem first with being charged for something I did not receive. Worse than that is the fact that they were just going to keep the money and not say anything about it. And finally to not refund the money that I paid for services not received??? And you want me to come back!!!!??? NO THANK YOU!!

This is the best veterinary experience I have ever had! I brought in my 3mo old kitten, who I suspected may have an upper respiratory infection. I love the fact that the two waiting rooms are separated for dogs and cats! I was immediately taken back to the exam room, which had been customized for the comfort of my cat. There was a cat tower/tree, toys, soothing music, and she was free to get out of her carrier and move about which diminished her stress level immensely. Dr. Jessica Loch was incredible and helped walk me through the process of taking care of my little sick kitty! They gave her treats/food to help distract her from her shots, and in the end they sent me home with a "goody bag" for my kitty, which had treats, a little toy, a food measuring cup/can saver, and tons of info on kittens and how to properly care for them. We have definitely found our veterinary home- I have never been to a practice that caters just as much to cats as it does to dogs. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Loch! **UPDATE 2/13/19** still so pleased with this facility!!! I love Dr. Loch and all of the vet techs I’ve encountered! So kind, understanding, patient, and helpful. My kitty does not like the vet or many new people but this facility definitely makes a vet visit the easiest process that it could possibly be. They are so cat friendly! I even got a little Calm-the-Kitty guide with tips and tricks for soothing a cat for a trip to the vet. Love this place, cannot rave about them enough!

We have been clients at Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital for more than a decade. We have been very happy with the care our babies have received. When we had to put down our almost 12 year old yellow lab, Tucker, Dr. King met us on a Sunday morning and was very patient and understanding as we dealt with the unexpected and heartbreaking situation. Two years later, we went through cancer with our 9 year old corgi. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Loch was through the whole process. She kept us informed and patiently and thoroughly explained all our options as we dealt with Joey's cancer. When we had to finally put Joey down, she prayed with us and cried with us and helped us say goodbye. The entire staff at TCAH made that awful day bearable by the way they all reacted and showed their genuine concern and sadness at Joey's passing. Dr. Loch went out of her way, and above and beyond, to help us make the right decisions for our family (both human and canine). When we got a new corgi puppy, and he had a UTI, Dr. Loch was right there ready to see us for a last minute, late afternoon appointment. She didn't rush and took her time to thoroughly check out our new baby and reassure us. Charlie Mays is almost a year old now and we wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else!

We had always had good experiences there but when we met Dr.Loch on that terrible day, we knew we had our vet for life. Horrible Service Brought my cat here for treatment of a condition I already researched and knew he had, but wanted professional confirmation and a recommendation. The vet tech confirmed my suspicions and took my boy to the back room, stating she wanted to get his vitals and weight. After a while she returned him to the front, stating matter-of-factly that she'd already given him the shot as well, without asking me! I had wanted to discuss his treatment options, but no options were given to me. This would never happen with a human child - the doctor would be held accountable for malpractice! This was a major breach of trust and I will definitely never return here!
