The prices are criminal. $2000 to remove a few bladder stones on a Saturday? Two years ago Dr Stembridge did it all for $350. My baby will suffer until Monday. Where's the compassion? It's all about the money.

This review is not based on their service or does not reflect the doctors of this Veterinary Practice. I have come across a very disturbing video on Vine that has this Veterinary Practice tagged as the place. The video is of a technician playing with an amputated arm of an animal. When others commented that they did not feel this post was appropriate, this person used extremely foul and derogatory language. As a veterinary technician myself, I feel like this is very disrespectful to the family of that animal who is now suffering without a limb. And it is extremely unprofessional to post such derogatory language while you are representing your place of work. It utterly shocks me that this type of behavior is tolerated.

Our dog Charlie had a possibility ruptured disc Late one night. We were referred to your service By our Vet in Panama City. We called Southern Regional Veterinary Specialist at 0930 on Monday morning to asked for an appt., and they asked how soon we could get there. So so we drove straight there and they saw us in just 15 mins., the Receptionist Harriet, was the kindness and the most thoughtful young lady we ever met in a Dr.'s office. The entire Staff were truely professional and caring. Then we meet Dr. Martin and we see why, he provides his patients and their family with professional assessments. And you could tell that he really cared for the animals under his care. Dr. Martin diagnosed Little Charlie problem accurately and then operated. Dr Martin also keep us informed ever step along the way. Charlie was doing so well we brought him home 22 hrs later. My Wife and I would be remiss if we did not write this letter of recommendation. Let me say we are sure You will find Dr. Martin And his entire Staff as one of most Godly and Professional Vet offices you will Ever have the pleasure too visit. Dr. Martin and Staff, well done good and faithful Servants! Semper Fi Frank. Scott

Southeast Alabama is extremely fortunate to have such a facility and one of the best veterinarians it has been my pleasure to know: Dr. Robert Martin. After some cruel person abandoned a sick cat and it made its way to my yard, I had to make my way to Dr. Martin. The poor little darling Marilyn Monroe was born with a terrible disorder that had her overeating, followed by projective vomiting. She is a midget of a kitty cat due to the lack of nourishment. I was fearful that she could not be saved but after a simple description from me, Dr. Martin immediately knew the problem. After running the appropriate tests, sure enough, he was right -- yesterday Marilyn Monroe underwent the operation to solve her problem and save her life. Tonight she is home and happy. Without Dr. Martin's years of expertise, I am not sure Miss Marilyn could have been saved. I am happy. Marilyn Monroe is happy. The world is good again. Thanks, Dr. Martin. Your impressive skills are certainly appreciated by this client and her sweet kitty kat. To everyone out there, if you have an unusual health problem with a pet, Dr. Martin is certainly the man to see.

My cuz was just there today and while (ment for human hospital) the black lady was given narcotics for bone pain,& a NOW former employee of my brother business was there yesterday FOR SAME THING, no broken bones, was given narcotics, because a toren rotor cuff is extremely painful, my next move, Attorneys. We sued, & won last case, & i"ll sue again. Taking my cuz to real hospital, where they aren't rude to a pastors wife. P.S:u forget donations to domestic violence shelters, or homeless shelters!

I went to Southern Regional veterinary emergency services because my dog was foaming at the mouth and I didn't know what happened to her. Two other animals came in one came in after me that was poisoned and I understand the vet's office wanting to help take care of the dying animals but they completely disregarded my animal as well as keeping me in my 5 year old son waiting for over 1 hour do not go to this emergency care service they have horrible customer service and one of the vet her name is sue is totally rude

Brought my dog in who was not eating or drinking, and had a swollen ear. Was told the ear was a hematoma and that it was resolving it self. Was told he had abdominal pain and that they would run dianogstics, I left him for a few hours also spent over $700. I had to take him to my regular vet which had been faxed all the paperwork to run more tests... turns out my vet found fang marks on his ear.... instead of a possibility of infection and other guesses, it was a snake bite. After my vet gave him the proper care and less than a $100 he is up and running, and a good as new! Do not take your furry baby to these people unless it's a last resort.

They were fast, extremely nice, personal and there when you need them late at night. They could have charged me much more but they were kind enough not to. Definitely recommend if you're ever in an emergency situation.

Unfortunately I've had the terrible experience of having to choose between euthanizing my dog and seeing her suffer. This had nothing to do with how she had been cared for her whole life, seeing how she had lived well beyond her life expectancy and was a very happy and loving. I knew her life was coming to a close but when I found her collapsed on the back porch one day after letting her out , she appeared to be suffering from a stroke or cerebral hemorrhage I took her to Southern Regional Veterinary Specialist because it was the weekend and my usual Veterinarian was closed. The staff were very helpful and caring but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done except ending any pain or suffering that she may have been experiencing. The experience was awful but the staff were very kind. A few months after this I was looking after a friends place in a rural area when I kept hearing a persistent tiny meowing from a kitten. Unfortunately his hind leg had been pinned and severely mangled and I was afraid I was going to have to once again have to poor animal euthanized but after once again having to take the animal to southern Regional because it was the only vet open they reassured me that they could save the animals life and that he would have a good chance of having a pretty normal and happy life albeit without one limb. I choose to adopt the poor critter and spend the money to have the amputation performed. I can say that although the price was what I would describe as fairly considerable, its been by far the best choice I've ever made. The cat and I have bonded like no other animal and I have before. I am very thankful that the staff explained that the kitten would very likely survive the amputation surgery and go on to have a normal and happy life as an indoor cat. I was worried about him not being able to get around well or being handicapped by the surgery but they assured me that since he was so young he would very likely adjust and go on to adapt to not having it and indeed this is what happened. He is very happy, loving, playful and gets around just as well as any cat I've ever had. He's very fast and can jump on a counter top with very little difficulty and has had no problems to speak of besides not being able to scratch behind his ear very well on the affected side, which I happily scratch for him when I see the need or he brings it to my attention. A can not give any kind of review about any of the other services that southern Regional may have or offer but when it comes to emergency pet care, they have by and far been the most reliable and accessible solution no matter the situation.

I will NEVER take another animal to this place again. My cat is now worse than when he went in with blockage in his bladder they charged me over $700 and still wanted more money.. well sorry to say but I can't afford to pay any more.. will be taking them to court!

We were very pleased with the surgery our dog (Max) received at their hospital. Dr. Martin is a wonderful surgeon & a very kind man. The staff was also great!

We took our frenchie Ruby in for paralysis from hemivertebrae. They made us an appointment very quickly knowing how important it was. Sadly they were not able to help her due to it being a neurological issue. Dr. Martin was fantastic and his staff was great to deal with. They tried to help in any way they could. Very on the spot service. I will use them again and recommend them.

Laura Fowler

We used the emergency services when my husband and I woke up on a Sunday morning to our Lab vomiting and then suddenly began having uncontrolled bouts of bloody diarrhea. Our vet's after-hours services transferred us to Southern Regional, where the tech who answered the phone told us of the prices and that he needed to be brought in. We had Dr. Sayre who was very friendly and diagnosed him immediately with Hemmoragic Colitis and began treatment. Our baby was well enough to come home the next day and is doing fine. We have never had a dog that required overnight care, and given his symptoms, we were terrified that we could lose him. I am very happy with the care that he received, and while the visit was pricey, it was very much worth the immediate treatment.

The bloodwork ordered on my initial visit, did not get processed. I was billed however. then asked to bring my dog back in to have more blood drawn, then told no the blood had been sent off then told no it really did need to be drawn again. They were clueless. And hesitant to refund the charge for the bloodwork until I spoke with the manager over a week after my initial visit. This is a poorly run place that seems to do a good job of caring for the animals. While overpriced, they are nice vets. Use at your own risk.

Dr. Robert Martin has amazing knowledge and surgical skills. We are so lucky to have this facility here in Dothan. Dr. Martin performed thyroid surgery on our cat Harley and he is back to his old self, which is really amazing!

Amazing customer service. Patient staff who took their time to explain my dogs situation to me and laid out in layman's terms, my options. DR. Martin is great at his surgical procedures which, when healing do not have much scarring. He is also extremely knowledgeable and talented at his job.

I was recommended by another veterinary near Fort Rucker to see SRVS due to the fact they couldn’t accommodate larger dogs on their x-ray table. Naturally, I didn’t had much of a choice b/c of my dog issue. The desk clerk seemed to be new at her job b/c she continued to ask surrounding vet specialist for help on every question that I asked. After basic paperwork, I was hit with an itemized bill that was x2 the cost for normal OFA x-rays and submission fees. I also had to write down my credit card information on the OFA paperwork for additional reading and filing fees (In which, I learned later this is false). Now, I fear about my credit card information. I questioned everything with little to no help. Faced with little choice at the time, I continued with the process. Before they took my dog, they asked me if I had any questions before they begin. I ask how are they going to evaluate my dog’s legs to determine if it’s a soft tissue or ACL damage. They replied by saying during sedation they would flex my dogs legs by feeling for full range of motion. I, again, ask how is that going to determine anything since my dogs muscle is relaxed and limped. That answer didn’t settled well with me. In the mist, the desk clerk wanted me to pay upfront for the entire procedure. I questioned this action since it was unusual. She replied that it is company policy and we would credit your card if any after the procedure. I told her that I wasn’t leaving my dog during his sedation (previously showed her my military card to validate personal information) and my dog is microchip with corresponding information. After the x-rays, the veterinary physician went over the x-rays. He didn’t give me any answers to why my dog was having issues with his rear legs. However, he kept on saying that German Shepherds are prone to hip dysplasia. This was his go to answer for everything. He didn’t provide recovery recommendations, treatment, potential future issues, or anything. I felt like I was rushed after they finished the x-rays. After paying that high bill, I asked if they had a dog gurney to ease my dog’s problem but nothing. The following day (today) I reviewed this situation with the on post vet. They were shocked and surprised by the entire process. Now, I am in the process to black list them from post. BE ADVISED IF YOU GO HERE.

Thank you for saving our Remington! The staff was wonderful and very caring and supportive. I never met the doctor but have heard great things. If I had any complaint it would be that they tell you that you have to pay $400 or what ever the cost they think it will be before they will treat your dog that is kinda concerning thinking a dog could be there and dying but they won't help till the money comes through. I had to call a relative to pay over the phone before they would help him. But I guess that's the world we live in now. I am still very grateful for the service and the staff my Remi is still here thanks to SRVS. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

After reading the reviews about this hospital I was compelled to counter. Sounds to me like most of the folks were in seek of free advice. If you need after hours emergency care, you can certainly expect to pay for it. The first time I called this clinic was late at night on a weekend and I agree, the person I spoke with was definitely determined to get my commitment to pay if a Vet was coming to meet me. How many of you would get up at 3:00 AM on a Sunday morning and go to your office if you were not going to get paid? I can only imagine the frustration they experience when pet owner has a possible emergency but yet balks when expected to pay to have their pet treated. It is very expensive to obtain the education necessary to cure animals of diseases and to fix them surgically. Should they do it for free? Is it wrong to make money? There's a difference between a business and a charity. Some evidently don't realize that. I was thrilled with the care my dog received. Yes it was expensive!! So what, they saved my dogs life...Dr. Martin removed an insulinoma- a tumor from his pancreas and inspected his lymph nodes, liver, etc. for signs of spreading. A major surgery that included over 48 hours in the hospital. should I complain about the bill? Should it have been cheap? If your child had cancer would you look for the cheapest oncologist? Of course not. The doctors at STVS are kind, patient, and most importantly skilled. If I went to College for a decade and spent God knows how much money on those degrees, I would like to think I would be well compensated for my expertise. Try calling a surgeon at your local people hospital and asking them if you should come into the hospital or not? Come on folks....everything related to medical care, animals or people, is expensive. If you had gone in and paid the 250, you would have received very good care for your animal!!! Thank you to Dr. Martin and the entire staff! You guys were awesome from the moment we walked in the door. :)

Took my mothers dog in for emergency care. 1 year later I have a collections notice in the mail. Never received the bill, which was for my mother in the first place. I find it funny that they can send me to collections and not even attempt to communicate to me. Scott the Office Admin was very rude on the phone, wouldn't even talk to me at all because "you can speak to my attorney, attorney will talk to you, I am not going to communicate with you" I hope this place never gets business again. Plenty of other vets in the area.

Holly Ingram Speigner

Very rude staff. My husband took his mother's dog in after she was attacked. Unfortunately Trixie didn't make it. We never received a bill in the mail but over a year later received a collections notice. We called to try and get some information as to why we never received a bill before we were sent to collections or why he was on a bill of his mother's and were ignored. They were extremely uncooperative and refused to even give information about the bill or how to take care of it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Madison Reynolds

Paid bunches of money for me to get my dog back and he is still throwing up and not eating and won’t even take the medicine that the doc prescribed for him called them back to tell them and they were very very rude to me to say the least.

Sara Krystyn

Our pup just had her second surgery at SRVS yesterday (1/2/2019). She has had TTA's on both knees. Dr. Martin and his office staff have been absolutely incredible. From the moment you check-in you can tell they really care about you and your furry friend. They call when they say they will and they give you updates frequently. You hope your dog never has to have surgery, but if he or she does then it is such a blessing to have Dr. Martin and his staff in this area. Thank you to SRVS for caring for Nova (and us) so well. We appreciate all that you do!

Rachel Carrico

Over the weekend my cat suffered a seizure. I took him to a vet in Ozark where they ran some tests, were not able to find any definitive reasons why it happened, told me to let him rest and return if he did not improve. On Sunday morning I woke up and my cat was unresponsive. I was unable to get in contact with the emergency number I was given to this vet, and was forced to look for an emergency vet to take him to. I am so thankful my fiance was able to find SRVS emergency vet. We arrived and they rushed to us to take a look to see what was going on. After only a few minutes they were able to tell me what I already suspected; that he would not recover and would need to be euthanized. At some point he had suffered a stroke and had symptoms that would not improve. It was with a heavy heart we said our goodbyes, but the staff explained everything and gave us all the time we needed to make sure we were ready. The staff was very professional, and just today I received a sympathy card in the mail with my cat's paw prints in memory of him that brought me to tears. I plan to get it framed and put up in my house, and I am SO thankful to them for not only taking care of my fur baby, but taking the time to send something so meaningful to me to hold onto forever. THANK YOU!

Spent $4000 on back surgery on our 4 year old dachshund. Brought her home two days after surgery. Died two days later. Never told why. Dog was completely paralysis (front & back legs). Wish we had never had the surgery. Her back legs would have been paralzed, but she would still be alive.

Wonderful staff!! We are from out of town, visiting family for the holidays, and did not know what to do! The emergency vet took great care of our dog, who was diagnosed with pneumonia!

I firmly believe that Dr. Martin is responsible for the death of my little boy Duke, through greed and/or negligence. I believe he was more concerned about how many surgeries he could do that day and how much money he could make. Duke is a Miniature Dachshund. They are prone to have back problems. When he was 11 years old he woke me up about midnight in pain. I took him to SRVS where they gave him a shot. I spent about $200 then. The next morning, he was still in pain so I took him back. They gave him narcotics and put him on an IV of fluids. He did not have access to water, otherwise. I believe they gave him too much narcotics because he was howling and did not even recognize me when I went to see him. After a quick diagnosis, they said he needed surgery on his back near his neck. They couldn’t do surgery right away because he was dehydrated. Dr. Martin admitted they did not give him sufficient fluids. They told me they would have to do a Myelogram. I specifically asked Dr. Martin “What are the dangers?” He remarked that he may hit a bone (vertebrae) and have to move the needle. He did not say anything else or tell me of any complications. When I confronted Dr. Martin about his answer regarding complications, his remark was “My bad”, meaning himself that he didn’t inform me. That was no consolation. Duke also had seizures that I was never told could occur. When I got upset about that, his daughter got all high and mighty like I had done something wrong. It was only later in talking with friends that I realized how dangerous this procedure was. In my opinion they did not take necessary precautions when administering the Myelogram, such as keeping his head elevated so that it didn’t go to his brain. The next day they took him outside to potty but said he just wanted to sit down. This was the second lie I was told. In actuality, his hind legs were paralyzed from the Myelogram. Then his liver and kidneys started failing. They put him on an IV to try to regain function but it was too late. On the discharge papers they told their third lie. They said that he was standing on his own. At that point I took him to his regular Vet where they tried desperately to save his life. The damage had already been done. I took him home. I took him outside and he took two wobbly steps and that was the last time he walked. Duke lost his dignity and his pride when he lost control of his bowels and bladder. I had to have him put to sleep the next day because of what I believe was negligence by Dr. Martin. That just about killed me. I knew my little boy had a few good years left. He never reimbursed me for the surgery he never performed which to me shows just how greedy he is. I took him to small claims court just to show him that there are consequences. He didn’t need a lawyer because the judge argued his case because he was a “Professional”. Professional or not, he lied in my opinion. I spent about $5000 at SRVS. Of that about $3000 was for surgery. Dr. Martin never reimbursed me a single penny for surgery that was NOT performed. I still mourn the loss of Duke. My only solace is that he is in Heaven. Everything I’ve expressed here is my opinion but I believe everything to be truthful.

I have read all the negative reviews and felt compelled to give my experience which was quite different. I do admit when I first called this clinic the receptionist answering the phone was extremely unpleasant but do to the fact that this is the only clinic for emergency, my husband and I didn't let that deter us. Dr. Loral Sayre..the vet on duty was wonderful and seemed to really care...she sent us home to watch my Dachshund who unfortunately digressed thru the night and needed surgery next day. Dr. Martin did the surgery and was overwhelmingly compassionate and understanding...even MORE important he did an excellent surgery with outstanding results...we are 2 days post op and my dog is recovering remarkably. The staff was very welcoming and I must say I would not hesitate..GOD forbid...if I have another medical emergency to return to this clinic.

We took our Yorkie after hours for what appeared to be a very bad allergic reaction. They did a fantastic job treating our dog, stayed with her overnight and we got her home the next afternoon and she has done great! Thank you SRVES!

Wonderful place, we were referred there from Lynn Haven Florida because out local vets could not do the operation on our cat Jinxy. They simply saved his life and we couldn't be more thankful and appreciative.

Dr. Martin is amazing! There are no words to express the gratitude my family and I have towards him and his team. Rebecca and the whole entire staff has been amazing to my sweet Callie during this tough time for her. Thank you for everything! I would not have wanted Callie’s health to be in anyone else’s hands.

Paid bunches of money for me to get my dog back and he is still throwing up and not eating and won’t even take the medicine that the doc prescribed for him called them back to tell them and they were very very rude to me to say the least.

Brittany Caver

SRVS saved our Great Dane's life and we will forever be grateful! On a Saturday night, Finnley started to panic and attempt to throw up. After 10-15 minutes, we knew something was terribly wrong. We were referred to SRVS from another emergency vet closer to home at Fort rucker via telephone because he strongly felt she had major surgical problem. He advised us that they were the only ones set up for surgery unless we drove her to Auburn, AL. Regardless of them being the closest, we wouldn't have chosen anyone else knowing the experience we've had. The staff immediately took an x-ray and Dr. Champion confirmed our worst fear, she had a flipped stomach. Finnley would have been dead in a matter of hours had they not rushed her in for a Gastric Dilation Volvulus (GDV) surgery right then. Yes, it was expensive. However, they are a specialized staff that are available at all hours of the night to care for your animals. We love our Finnley like she is no less important than any other member of our family. No doubt about it, she would have died. No matter the cost, we would have paid it. However, they were extremely fair. We paid the $3k right then but received nearly $800 back as a refund when we picked her up a couple days later. They didn't have to do that! We would have been none the wiser that they didn't need the entire amount and I believe it shows what great and honest people they are. I felt especially compelled to write this review because from what I've read, nearly all of the "negative" reviews are price related. The staff kept us in the loop every step of the way and even allowed us to come sit with her the following day and walk her around a little bit. We were even able to drop off a couple of our tshirts, treats and a bag of her food to see if that would spur an appetite. I have nothing but gratitude for this staff and facility! Our Finnley is happy, healthy and back to our family all thanks to them.

If you're in the Wiregrass area of Alabama and need an emergency veterinarian, I highly recommend Southeast Regional Veterinary Services on Westgate Parkway in Dothan. Last weekend our three-year-old laborador retriever was bitten by a snake. We didn't see it happen, but we noticed his leg swelling up very badly by about 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. They got Chip in fast, did bloodwork to check how far the venom had progressed and affected him, and gave him prescription meds and sent a report to our regular vet. All within one hour. And they really knew how to deal with a scared and injured dog. They were great and worth every penny.

They charged me 900.00 for a procedure to remove something that clogged my dogs breathing. Did not help one bit she actually got worse. Took her to another vet within one week because the dog was getting worse. The second vet informed me had a severe sinus infection, she was anemic and her liver enzymes were high. He also got her records from SRVS and nothing was removed blocking my dogs airways which is why my dog had the 900.00 dollar procedure. My dog was given antibiotics, iron, and pills.for her liver.fromthesecond vet. She is much better after three days on the medicine, I wasted nearly a thousand dollars at this place do not go to this place I still wonder what was done here for my dog. Wish I give no stars.

This is an emergency hospital for pets. It's open on the weekends after hours. It's a very good place to go in an emergency. My niece's dog got hit by a car and we had to find someone quick to see Sofie. The lady there was very helpful and caring. Eventhough we went up there twice. She helped explain what was going on with our beloved Sophie and helped my niece accept the fact she was gone. It was a very trying time and tragic for all, and they were very respectful. I thank them form the bottom of my heart for there patience and comfort.

Dr. Martin was awesome. Our anatolian shepherd had OCD surgery and all went well. We had an 8 week check up post surgery for Xrays and received another bill. Nothing cheap either 157.00 to ensure the healing was correct. This was very unexpected especially after what the initial Xrays and surgery cost. I have never had a follow-up after surgey that I paid for on myself, so maybe they are chasing the money. Again nothing but kind words can be said about Dr Martin. 2 out of 5 stars because the fee for the post op was not discussed.

I took my Standard Poodle in for vomiting on 1/15/17. The receptionist behind the counter Marsha was overwhelmed because there were numerous emergencies going on that night, but deposite the overwhelmingness she remained extremely friendly and helpful. The female veterinary that we was was amazing and extremely helpful with treating my baby. A lot of people complain about the price, but to me it was well worth it to help me baby. Remember this when complaining about prices... this staff could be at home with their families and loved ones, but instead they are saving animals nightly without complaint. It makes me feel better as a pet owner that there is a place like this!

I knew since Thursday, the 2nd of July, that I was fixing to lose my 19 year old Himalayan female baby. She had stopped eating and was barely able to drink anything. I was selfish and tried to hold onto her as long as I could. But Sunday, I could not handle it anymore, she started seizing and I had to take her in to be put to sleep. She was the last of 3 kitties that lived to be 20 and 17 years old. The people and doctor were great in my time of loss. Thanks to everyone who works there to help with my baby to cross over the rainbow to be reborn again with God.

I only put one star cause I couldn't put 0. We took our pet rabbit Phil in Saturday cause he had a back injury. I understand he's a rabbit and most people or vets don't consider them as important as a dog but he was important to us. I got there and was made to wait almost an hour with him partially paralyzed and seizing. Then I paid the $112 fee to be seen up front and waited some more. The vet came to the front a few times and never spoke to me other than awe that's sad. I didn't know she was the vet till I was finally seen. Then she looked at Phil for about 60 seconds and said his back is broken, I could take your money and do an x-Ray but I recommend putting him down. We discussed the options then I said let's put him out of his pain. I was then made to go pay more money ($16) to have his suffering ended. Then I waited awhile while they tortured him and blew out the veins in his front legs trying to euthanize him. That didn't work so they took him to the back and I got to hear him scream as they jammed a needle into his heart to put him down. Then they put him in a box handed him over and said we're sorry have a nice day. Don't take your pets to these people.

Dr Martin walks on water as far as we are concerned!! Our Marty had back surgery several years ago after an Ozark "vet" told me to put him in a BOX!! He walks and runs and is a very happy dog!❤️

I was not aware of these emergency services. I am so thankful that they offer these service. Our fur baby became lethargic after 10 p.m. We went to SRVS and they were wonderful. He had to stay over night . Everyone from the front desk staff, to the vet assistants, to the dr and to everyone who answered during the night and early morning when I called to check on him, were sweet, and comforting. They seemed to truly care about our puppy. Words can not express how comforting it is to know now that if anything else happens to our fur baby that we can go to this amazing place. I highly recommend SRVS to take care of your pet.

I will forever be grateful for Dr. Martin and the entire staff at SRVS! Our 18 month old Chihuahua Pee Wee was outside on Mother's Day playing when he took off running through the woods chasing a squirrel. When Pee Wee came out of the woods he was limping and wouldn't put any weight on one of his back legs, so we took him to the vet. After having x rays done we were informed Pee Wee had indeed broken his leg and the best option with the best outcome was surgery. After having Dr. Martin at SRVS highly recommend to us the x-rays were sent over and we was told to be expecting a call from SRVS. It didn't take long before I was contacted by SRVS to set up an appointment for Pee Wee to come in and have surgery. The lady I spoke with on the phone was extremely nice and set up Pee Wee an appointment for the following day. The morning we arrived for surgery we was greeted by both ladies at the front desk and was checked in. We didn't have to wait no time before we was called to the back. Dr. Martin discussed everything with us and we was given an estimate of what it would cost. When given the estimate it was detailed very well with the lowest and highest estimate. (Which I totally appreciated) When we checked out I was ASKED if I could pay the lowest estimate right then and told if it did go over that amount they would let me know the following day when I returned to take Pee Wee home. It was explained to me that if it ended up costing less than the lowest estimate that I paid the day of the surgery that they would refund me the difference. I appreciated the fact that I was given the lowest and the highest estimates that way I would know about what the cost would be. A couple of hours later I received a call from Dr. Martin himself informing me off Pee Wee's condition and details of how the surgery went. I was told if I wanted he could come home the following day or he could stay an additional night if I felt more comfortable with him there. I chose to go ahead and bring him home the following morning because he was doing well and we missed him dearly. The day after surgery I returned to pick him up and Dr. Martin went over all the aftercare instructions with me and the medications given. Pee Wee is home resting now and is expected to make a full recovery! ♥ Thank you Dr. Martin and ALL the staff at SRVS for taking such wonderful care of Pee Wee, you've been such a blessing to our family!!! May God continue to shower you with blessings, for you all are true blessings to us and our beloved pets! ♥ Thank you!
