My husband and I rescued our mini Shepard/husky named Bear from deplorable conditions when he was about two months old and brought him to see Dr Forrester and the crew at southeast alabama veterinary clinic. He was so skittish and worried ns filled with anxiety. And they talked to him and cared for him, all while taking the time to educate us about our new roles as parents of Bear and what he would need. its been nearly 3 years and he still goes every month to see his friends that work there and he loves to visit. We are always treated with respect and our questions are always answered. When bear developed an ear infection, they made a spot for him immediately so that he could be seen and treated. Our dog has better doctors than we do ..lol and we are eternally grateful to everyone who works there. Thank you everyone. We will be in on monday for bears visit and to get his medicine. ~Theresa Stevens

Walking in on a holiday weekend with a pet that has never been treated here. My dog was very sick. We were treated kindly, with respect and empathy. She needed emergency surgery, and then treatment for a few days following. The doctors and technicians here were extremely aware of the situation, spending extra time and care helping our pup be as comfortable as possible. They also worked hard to manage boarding her for care on such a busy holiday. I couldn't ask for better care or treatment in general. This could've been a bad situation had they not had the knowledge and wisdom to quickly execute a plan. The Green Family, especially our pup Zima, are grateful for all you guys did.

This place is a scam! All they want is money. I've taken my dog here twice and left with answers that I can find on google. Doctors are not that knowledgeable and show very little care. I called at 8am this morning to follow up with a doctor after I spent 200 plus dollars both visits and I still haven't received a call back. Do not take your pet here.

This staff was awesome! I had to bring my Rocky baby there today without an appointment and they were so sweet with him. They made me feel so welcome. This is definitely our full time vet. Dr. Jones got down on the floor with Rocky and was so caring. She's great! The front staff and nursing staff were also so nice. Highly recommend!

I am very disappointed in this clinic.. What is sad about the whole situation with our animal is that we had an appointment two days before he passed.... We were down to a minimum of cash due to paying our bills for the month and only had $180. For $180, my lovely dog wasn’t even given fluids when they diagnosed him with dehydration.. I know that expenses such as these are costly, but my dog’s life couldn’t be saved only because of money... My dog was our second son, and I hate that we lost over $250.. God bless

We've been using Dr. Forrester and the team at Southeast Alabama Veterinary Hospital for about two years. Every experience has been positive. We frequently board our pets with them for the weekend, and I love the fact that they have a Sunday pick up time. Many vets don't offer Sunday pickup so your pets have to stay over until Monday. It's a great place with a professional, friendly team. Would recommend.

My dogs LOVE going here, whether it's for a vet visit or to be boarded. The staff is absolutely amazing, they are always so friendly and treat my pups like they are their own. They know them by name when we walk through the door. We have only seen Dr. Jones and she is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her and Southeast Alabama veterinary Hospital, I always tell my family and friends I'm not sure what we are going to do when we have to move. Dr. Jones will sit with you and answer all your questions in detail to make sure you have all the knowledge you need. Our vet in Birmingham was in and out in about 15 minutes regardless of the situation, Dr. Jones has sat with us for over 45 minutes making sure every question was answered. She has also personally called me to give me the status update on my pup when he was having an allergic reaction. This is hands down the best vet hospital I have ever gone to, and they have the best and most caring staff!

A friend of mine had a horrendous experience at this hospital back around late April-early May 2017. He boarded his dog there and when he went to pick his dog up he noticed a big gash on his dog's face. When he inquired about it there NOBODY 'COULD' TELL HIM ANYTHING ABOUT IT... Now wait one cotton pickin' minute here... This business is a service, am I right or wrong? This business IS IN THE BUSINESS OF TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS PETS...so, this is how they earn their money... Right or wrong? SO, when something bad happens at this clinic shouldn't somebody there KNOW ABOUT IT? I mean, if the pets are being supervised at all times while they are boarded there, then certainly nothing like a gash, whose scar is still apparent six monrhs later should be there... RIGHT OR WRONG? And no, I don't believe as they would have had my friend to believe as the only response they had for him-- 'that sometimes "accidents" happen'! So, when a major car accident occurs, it doesn't get reported? (We're talking HONEST people here!)... WOULD YOU ALL AS CUSTOMERS THERE APPRECIATE SIMILAR TREATMENT THERE WITH YOUR PETS?

Dr. Forrester saw my English Cocker Spaniel in a matter of a few days. She was very kind and caring with my "baby". Very thorough with her examination and gave me insight in things to look for with an older dog. It's good to have a Vet that treats your pet like a family member. I highly recommend her.

My dog was treated like he was a bother to the front desk women! I told her he might have kennel cough, rolled her eyes and said that a room needed to be cleaned. Then said my dog needed to sit outside in the car until then. I filled out paper work and she finally came back. I gave her the paper work and waited until she answered the phone, set an appointment with another client and started having a conversation with them! Finally she's off the phone and starts helping someone who worked there on information about flea medication. I left at that point! Why pay to be treated like scum! They need to check this lady's customer service! I believe her name was Michelle and I will never take my animals to that clinic again! Went to care animal center and was treated and felt welcome!

Fantastic vet! The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with my dog. I did not feel like the appointment was rushed and ft very informed after the visit. I was even sent home with some reading material and a goodie bag. The heartworm medication is also the best price I've ever bought from a vet. That was a wonderful perk! I was recommended this vet from a friend who had nothing but positive things to say about the staff and I completely agree!
