My dog had multiple seizures throughout the night and then when morning came had another, so I found the closest clinic with good ratings and made an appointment. The staff told me that if he had another to bring him in right away. About an hour before his appointment he had a very severe seizure so I rushed him there. When we finally got back to the room and I finally got to speak to the vet he brushed the whole situation off like it was not a big deal, that 7 seizures in less than 12 hours was not a problem. Didnt want to give him anything to stop the cluster seizures and was only focused on the fact that he had high blood pressure. (He just had 7 seizures.. is in a new office.. doesnt even know who I am or who he is.. of course his blood pressure was high?! And that's more the reason to give him something to calm him down!) He said that it did not matter how many seizures he had in a day he counted them all as one. He said that seizures do not cause any side effects. He said that it's not hard on the animals only hard on the human owner. He had no compassion for my very sick dog or his distraught owner. He basically said "ah dont worry about it, just take him home". So I did, and less than 30 min of being home he had another severe seizure so I rushed him back and demanded he was given something to help him calm down and hopefully stop the seizure. After watching your dog have 7 seizures, be physically exhausted and disoriented for an entire day I was heartbroken by his lack of care and lack of want to help him. Later that night he had another so I called an emergency vet clinic and asked them what to do, they said that it is indeed a very serious issue and he needs to be put on medication right away or he risks brain damage and over heating. So I took him there and he finally got the help he needed and the rest he needed. Do not take your pets to this facility.
