I have a Boston/Shihtzu mix (Bailey) that has had skin infections for the past 10 years, We have taken her to many different veterinary clinics/hospitals over the years and have made it better but never really gone. We have tried everything antibiotics, expensive shampoos, shots, lab test, cultures, even had her blood work and skin samples sent to UGA only for her condition to worsen over time. 10 weeks ago I took her in to see Dr. Buckallew at Murrayville Animal Hospital and she was in bad shape I thought this is her end. He put together a program of diet, 21 days of meds and regular baths. Now 10 weeks later her skin condition is completely cleared up the best its been in 10 years. She has to continue the diet and the baths twice a week but no meds. Easy enough for us plus she loves the food. Thank you Dr. Buckallew for doing what no one else has done. I have been taking my dogs there for well over 10 years. I have never been disappointed. Regular visits, emergencies, grooming and boarding. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They go above and beyond. All of my dogs have been rescues and some needed extra care. No appointment necessary. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. They are the best.

5 Stars because 100 is not an option. We moved to the area from Colorado and, at first, I wasn't keen on not having an appointment and the multiple vet scenario. However, I am now spoiled to be able to walk in their door whenever my furbabies need medical attention. This is not something you can always plan and the staff treats you as if they have been waiting on your arrival. The medical care is unparalleled regardless of which doctor. This morning I took my senior furbaby in as it was his time to journey across the rainbow bridge. Everyone at Murrayville has been working with me since February for his end of life plan, starting organically as possible in the beginning, and then to pharmaceuticals when it became necessary. As soon as I walked in the door this morning and they saw my tears, the staff immediately jumped into action, made me feel like the only person in the room and some of them even cried with me. It is very clear that the vets understand that the importance of their staff is equally as important as the doctors. They treated my baby with dignity and eased a little of my heart break. Mistoffolese "Moose" stole my heart the first time I saw him in a cardboard box. He made every day of my life for the last 14 years something special and I can't express what an important part of the family he has been. Thanks to Dr. White and her team, we gave Moose happiness, mobility and quality of life to his last day. For that, I will be forever grateful. They are angels in an hour of need. To the Murrayville team... Thank you so much for your love and compassion. I hope y'all know how special you are xoxo

I have been a client of Murrayville Vet Clinic since the mid 1980s. Over all those years, I have been consistently pleased with the staff, the doctors, and the facilities. Everyone I have dealt with has been caring and competent. Dr White is a special person. When it was time to put my first dog Ben (at age 18) out of his misery, Jane insisted she be the one to do it personally, because she had been caring for him since she was a one-woman clinic. When he passed peacefully, we hugged each other and cried. That kind of empathy is a gift. I value her and the rest of the people at Murrayville Vet Clinic.

My family has been bringing our pets here since 1992. They are always warm, friendly and patient with the animals. They are the very best and I wouldn't dream of using anyone else as long as we live in the area for sick care. We do our shots at the Humane Society b/c they are cheaper. In fact the only negative thing I have to say about Murrayville Vets is they stopped doing pay plans some years ago and I'm on a budget. But for the really important stuff, this is where I bring my fur babies. I've even had the vet meet me at the office at midnight when my cat was very sick. That's how dedicated and caring they are.

When we went to the exam room the doctor was already there. She was very friendly and first spent time on the floor with the dogs trying to pet them and get them comfortable. She was so nice and took the time to talk about some concerns I had, never making me feel like she was too busy or short on time. This was my first visit I will definitely be bringing both of my dogs to this office from now on.

They are awesome. Took my 10 week old puppy in today because she had a tick and needed her next round of shots. I was a walk in and was seen right away. They had a solution to the ticks, gave her heartworm medicine, removed 2 ticks, and the vaccinations and we left with a decent bill. And everyone was so pleasant. This will be our vet.

I can not even express how amazing, loving, and passionate this clinic is. We took our baby, Addie in due to troubling symptoms. The staff spent so much time and effort on our girl. Unfortunately, Addie did not make it but I know and believe that Dr. Jane White, Dr.Pursley and the staff did their very best. Although we were not there for our girl when she passed, she was never alone and was given the best care. The staff is loving and they were genuinely concerned about Addie and our family. We will forever be grateful to Murryville for taking care of Addie during her last hours.Despite the unfortunate death of our Addie, I would recommend this clinic for all of your pets needs.

We had a rough experience having our 17 yr old pet euthanized. We went to a vet in Macon for nearly 40 years and euthanasia involved one injection in a vein and my pets would instantly pass away with no pain or fear. At this vet, it involved one large needle IV and two syringes of a pink drug. After the first syringe, my pet struggled in pain (I'm sure the drug was burning his arm) and he struggled to breathe. He passed after half of the second syringe was administered. That's not the way it's supposed to work and I'm so sorry my pet had to suffer. PLEASE don't let them use that method on your pet!

I called Thursday to see if I needed to make an appointment for Friday to bring Jack in for his vaccines. The lady I spoke with advised that there was no need to make an appointment to just come on in. Jack and I showed up around 10:51 Friday morning and I was surprised to see how packed the parking lot was. I told him we would go and see how busy they were and decide if we would stay or not. It was busy..very busy. I asked how long the wait was and the young lady advised she really couldn't give me a time, but every effort would be made to get Jack in as soon as possible. We went back out for a stroll and decided to go back to see if there was seating inside. There was and we took up our place in the corner near checkout. Everything was running like clock work. In no time, Jack and I were called to a room. The doctor came in and looked at Jack, took him off to be weighed and to get his test done (along with his shots). Apparently there were some UGA students there that made over Jack and he was feeling very special when he returned to the exam room. The doctor had someone from the front staff to come and check us out so we didn't have to wade back through the chaos up front. We were soon out the door and on our way. I was very pleased with how well things were handled by the staff and the care that Jack and I were shown. I love coming to this place and I know that Jack does too. Many thanks to everyone that works at MVC!

We started using this veterinary clinic and I want to say we are very pleased and glad we decided to switch. Everyone seems to be very nice and asking questions via email has been great. Our dog was spayed and we took a picture of her infection and emailed them to the doctor and she responded and told us exactly what was going on and prescribed her some antibiotics. I love this place and we will take all of our future pets here as well.
