We’ve been taking our dog, Charlie to Midway Animal Hospital for 12 years and find them very caring and professional. The staff is so friendly and always there to help me with questions or concerns. They follow up after appointments to check on him and just go the extra mile. We also use them for boarding. I was really worried about leaving him, because we rarely board him. But they were so accommodating and he loved it and did great. I would recommend Midway to any one!

We love Midway Animal Hospital. The vets and techs/staff are super nice and love my animals. We've had 2 of our cats cross the rainbow bridge and the care of this clinic is excellent. Very compassionate and caring. We love they made a donation in our cats memory to the vet school at UGA and sent us a paw print cast. We've always had excellent service and we even pass 5 other clinics to get to Midway.

If you love your pets and want them to have the very best, this is the place to go. We have taken our dogs here for 14 years. They have always handled our animals with the greatest of care and compassion. We have had pets in there for everything from routine visits and vaccinations to the most dire of medical emergencies, and have always appreciated their services. They are not the cheapest vet out there. If you need discount care, this is not the place. But if you are like we are, that just want your pets to have the very best (at any price) then this is the place. We walk in every 6 months with our dogs, and they know our name when we walk in the door. How many dogs and cats come through that door in 6 months? And these people remember us with that amount of traffic? Impressive. This place is SPOTLESS. I mean immaculate. Completely clean, yet doesn't reek of cleaners and bleach. We have seen Dr. Lobek, Dr. Pavlovsky, and Dr. Bard at various times. All of them are absolutely fantastic. Dr. Lobek is who we primarily work with, and you couldn't meet a nicer guy who is more friendly and compassionate towards his patients and their humans. My dogs LIKE to see him. Even though he is always ready to stick, poke, and prod at them (as all doctors excel at), they still like him. I know, truth is stranger than fiction. When our oldest dog's time finally came to an end, it was a very difficult day. It had been coming for a while (terminal illness), and I had spent many sleepless hours wondering how I was ever going to get through it. I knew I had to be right there at my dog's side, but I could not figure out how I was going to muster the strength to do it. It was amazing how Dr. Lobek quickly assumed the role of human counselor and helped my wife and I through that morning. Midway Animal Hospital used to be owned by Dr. Hardee. He was a nice enough guy, but he was very old school and set in his ways. He has retired, and Dr. Lobek and Pavlovsky are the new owners. I'm very excited to see some of the changes they may bring. (Guys, how about allowing telephone prescriptions!!!!)

My pets have been going to Midway for three years...I volunteer for a rescue so I have three rescues ...two cats, one dog and many more dogs that I walk every weekend at the rescue. I wish I could bring them all home! Almost two years ago, I had to put my beloved elderly Beagle down and the experience at Midway was a good one considering what I was there for...it's really hard to let those little guys go. When I saw him laying there so peacefully after months of doggie dementia, I knew it was the right thing to do. I mostly see Dr. Bard because she is awesome and so sweet, but my experience with all of the doctors at Midway proves that they are very caring and kind and understanding when it comes to caring for our "children". They listen and they take care of us. Hugs to all of you!

I love this team! I have been going to them for 5 years. I moved here with a 13 year old dog with heart problems, and got a Golden retriever puppy 4 years ago. My older dog has since passed naturally. I got a reminder for an appointment and called to notify them of her passing. A few days later I received a sympathy card in the mail notifying me that a donation was made in my dog's name to the UGA vet program. My Golden has done every clutzy thing you can magine (broken leg, concussion, temporary blindness in one eye, ear and eye infections, stick stuck in her mouth etc). Each instance they have been more than thorough and I always feel they truly care. The prices are way lower than any vet I have used with prior dogs (I've had a dog for 25 years). Dr. P. and all the rest of the staff are awesome! My dog gets excited when I pull into the parking lot and is tugging on the leash to get inside. That is a true testimony; dogs and kids are true indicators of a good person. I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else.

Well we moved to the area 15 years ago. After going through 2 vets we decided to try Midway...we've never left. The compassion of everyone there from the Vets to the kennel staff to the front office. This is one awesome group of people with sincere compassion. We had an incident where or labs tail got caught in the hinge side of a door in our house. We took him to an emergency vet and they immediately told us his tail had to be amputated. Whoa, hold on there...bandage it up and we'll see Dr Baird in the a.m. She check him out and bandaged him up after cleaning the wound and she nursed him back. His tail is perfect right now and wagging at every sight of a human. Remember an emergency doc wanted to cut it off. This office never pushes you for any treatment. Our Dr. Baird always gives us options and let's us make the decisions. I have never felt like I was pushed into a procedure, everything is our decision. Dr. Baird always comes in the room during check-ups and just sits on the floor and doesn't approach the dogs. She lets them come to her and she starts interacting with them. The entire time they think she's just being a friend she's looking in their ears, mouth, feeling their tummy and listening to their hearts. They don't even know it's happening. She makes them feel so comfortable. All of the Vets there are awesome as we've seen several of them. The place is very clean as is the boarding area. Kenneling, we use to take out two Labs to another place. One time this "other place" knew they had cases confirmed of canine flu there and never told us. Our Chocolate got the flu and was very sick. Since then we have always taken our two labs to Midway for kenneling. I use to leave after dropping the dogs off in tears. After switching to Midway and seeing how much they love it there we go on vacation without a worry in the world. There have been times where I messaged them while away to see how the boys were doing. I always got pictures back in 10-15 minutes of our boys smiling. If you need a Vet, this is the only place to go. Compassion for our furry family is the most important thing to us and they certainly do have that. I wish I could have given them the 10 stars they deserve but my only option was 5. We love this place and the staff ! We have used all the facilities, including the grooming and boarding for so many years, they really take care of our dog. I have never seen vet care to this degree for clients and patients. Very knowledgeable and a clean office. We definitely recommend this place to your lovelies pets, they will be on good hands.

Wonderful experience! I was out of care with my Kitty, and she was sick. I dropped in without an appointment and the front desk graciously worked me in with Dr. Calloway. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a detailed estimate before we decided together what the best plan of action would be. Thanks to the whole team for welcoming us! I found Midway when I moved here in 2013 and even though I’ve moved further away, I’ve stayed with them because they have been wonderful on every way. They took care of my Golden Retriever through much sickness for about 4 years until her final day. They continue to care for my 5 cats through sickness and health with love, empathy, gentleness and excellent vet care. As a former military spouse, I’ve taken my animals to many vets. I’ve never been to one I’ve loved as much as this one. Every person there, doctors, techs, groomers, and office staff are kind and capable. I highly recommend Midway to all cat and dog parents!

I have used the clinic since 2002 and I wish I could give them more than five stars! I highly recommend them all the staff are friendly and compassionate. I called the at five minutes from them closing when my Three pound Westie ate my 100 pound border Collies medicine! I lived twenty minutes away and they could have told me to just take him to an emergency hospital but they didn’t they stayed open and waited for me. I was so relieved and grateful. That’s the kind of people they are! So fantastic!

Overall was fine and as expected. The staff was behaved and appropriate. The doctors and vet assistants were great. The front desk at times leave something to be desired and at times I felt... how can I say it... awkward. This was not consistent though. The pricing was a little more than expected and you may be able to find better prices somewhere else, THOUGH they are cheaper than Loving Hands not far from them.

I took my dog in for a check up and to get his annual vaccines. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. Dr Callaway and Phillip were both great to work with. Philip did a great job of explaining and answering my questions about the different treatments, services, and vaccinations they recommend for my dog. Dr Callaway was gentle and caring when it came to examining and administering vaccines to my dog. I'm glad I decided to go with Midway Animal Hospital to care for my pet.

Last week we visited Midway twice. In our first visit, Dr. Povlovsky was very understanding and kindly let us know how sick our cat was. She also gave us good information about how to know when the time had come to put her to sleep. A couple of days later, we returned for the dreaded appointment. Dr. Lubeck was so patient and kind and it really helped to know that the staff at Midway was so caring. We even received a sweet sympathy card in the mail a few days later. The staff at the front desk was also helpful and caring. We always felt that we got good medical care at Midway, but the personal and caring atmosphere really helped us get through a very difficult time. Thank you all.

After a traumatic experience with an emergency vet, that left our cat in need of further care, we took him to Midway Animal Hospital. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly when I arrived, the vet tech was very gentle with our cat during the initial exam and our experience with Dr. Lobeck was exceptional. He went out of his way to call and update us every morning with the status of our kitty. I really can't say enough how much I appreciated the level of service we received and the prices after our terrible previous experience with another vet. We have several friends who take their pets to this hospital and they have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hardee and the rest of the staff. May 9th, 2016 at Midway Animal Hospital in Alpharetta - Brought my cat in for a $55 grooming. They said he needed two shots. I should have asked, but was expecting a total under $100... The total was over $215, including an exam I didn't approve or even know about. I accepted a $30 medicine probiotic for an irritated tummy, but the total was still outrageous. Oh, and I got home to discover FLEAS! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and haven't had fleas in years. This cost an unexpected additional $255 in flea meds the following day. I will never go anywhere other than North Main Animal Hospital (Alpharetta) again. What was I thinking! Now, even with proper response, I could have fleas in the house with my kids and pets for 3 months just because of the lifecycle. This is a miserable situation.

I can not share enough good things about this vet! Especially Dr. Callaway (though great experiences with all vets there) Dr. Callaway went above and beyond for me and my cat when he got very sick. She not only did little things to help with cost knowing it would be expensive, but she was kind and caring. She and a few other staff members stayed late one night just to help him. She is always available for me when I call with questions or concerns as well as calling me personally to check on him. I always feel like she cares for my kitty as much as I do as well as my other pets. The front staff are friendly and helpful as well scheduling appointments quickly.
