We were very pleased with Davis Animal hospital. Our Lu is VERY nervous and scared of the vet from a bad experience as a puppy. They took a full hour to spend time with him before trying any kind of vaccines. We really appreciated their patience with our scared boy and honestly have never had such an easy vet experience in 4 years!

Brandy and Dr. Ashley were very helpful, explaining everything and answering all our questions re' treatment of our precious Jasmine. We have every confidence in their ability, and the care our Jasmine will receive and will be bringing our other cat there soon for routine vaccinations. Visited the boarding area and Krista was equally and nice and courteous. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND the animal hospital. My girlfriend and I brought our three legged kitty, Pee Wee, to Davis Animal Hospital last week and had a tremendous experience. First off they were extremely accommodating and had exquisite bedside manner. They coddled our baby so well. In addition, the entire visit was FREE due to me being in the military. Lastly, they educated us on the treatments that they felt would be beneficial to Pee Wee, but were not pushy about us purchasing them. Has a family business feel. 5 STARS!! Will absolutely be using them for all of our future pet need while still in the area.

I absolutely love this place! Our shiba had to have surgery on both of her back knees and the recovery process has been a really long and rocky journey that Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Allen, the vet techs Melissa, Cara, and especially Peyton have all made a whole lot easier and less stressful. I was able to squeeze in last minute appointments with each concern that popped up for her, have all of my questions answered promptly and easy to understand, and most importantly, they all took really amazing care of our shiba who is incredibly fickle and hard to manage at times, but they were patient and understanding of her temperament which is what won me over. You can really trust that your furry family member is in good hands and treated with the best care here.

I have a special needs cat, so she has been constantly in and out of vet office's, i have spent thousands of dollars on her over the past 3 years (x-rays, ultrasounds, surgeries, grooming services, medication and medicated shots) this vet is AMAZING, (SHOUT OUT TO DR. ASHLEY and melissa) they are so kind and were able to help,out of all the vet's I have taken my girl to THIS is the BEST ONE HANDS DOWN!!! super friendly, reasonable prices, very clean as well. Would recommend to anyone even if it is just grooming needs. Although sometimes they are hard to reach over the phone BUT if you leave a message they respond quickly. ALSO they have military discounts :)

Today was my kitten's first vet appointment so I was a little nervous. We were greeted upon arrival and everyone was super friendly. Relatively new customer - have now been here twice to have minor infections treated. They are closer to my home and offer a greater flexibility in hours than any other place in the city save for the emergency vet hospital. Both times now, I have received excellent service. The host at the front desk, the technician, and the vet have all been incredibly friendly and caring, and the vet spent a good amount of time explaining to me what was going on and how best to treat it. I am very pleased with the service and plan on bringing my dogs here for routine care going forward. Thank you

The Davis Animal Hospital is second to NONE! The employees are passionate about their work and their furry patients. They truly care about your pet's well being. As an example, we live approximately 30 min away from the hospital, and it is hard for us to make it before closing time. Several times, Dr Henley has offered to stay late or meet us on her way home with whatever medicine we need to accommodate us. We feel like family when we are there. That is important. I recommend them to ANYONE!!! When Dr. Henley and April they left their previous animal hospital to start their own practice, we followed them to stay under their care, even know it is over 2x as far! We'd stay with them even if they went to Mobile! Come to their open house Nov 3rd, 2012 and check them out!

I won't take are babies anywhere else!! New kennels in place with multiple options for boarding. Our pups were placed in suite 17 and it has a camera where we can check in on them. Also there's vet on call for any emergencies 24hrs/7days. Everyone treats you like family and loves our 3 babies as their own. BEST PLACE IN THE AREA!!!!

I was looking for a vet that I could bring my chickens, lizard, dogs, and cats to. First, I brought my chicken in with bumble foot to which the staff were amazing, compassionate, and were able to educate me on the whole healing process. Second, one of my cats became ill, deteriorating quickly. The staff were so caring and quick to get me in a room so I wasn’t standing in the lobby sobbing. Everyone handled Palmer with respect and dignity. Dr. Ashley was sure to give me all information, including his chance for survival. Her treatment plan covered everything we could do for him, but also didn’t pressure me on unnecessary labs, imaging, or meds. The staff was so patient while I decided what I wanted to do. With me being so vulnerable they could have run up a huge bill. They didn’t and for that I am forever thankful.

We recently had our first appointment at Davis Animal Hospital and we could not have been more pleased. Both Dr. and staff were amazing and attentive to our fur baby. She was given a clean bill of health, but did not do well with her vaccinations. Both the Dr. and staff called the next day to check on her and without even saying a thing, her vile was updated to note that she needed to have her shots spread out. We loved the people at Davis, and also like us, our fur baby loved the staff and doctor too. We finally found our forever doctor.

Been with Davis Animal Hospital for four years now. They saved my pups life when he was attacked and helped me through the whole process. The follow-up appointments were free and fast. They stick to their scheduled appointment times. They know my babies by name and have great bedside manner. They always follow-up via e-mail or phone call. Used the Pet Hotel and Spa and have no complaints. I could watch my little guy all day via the app/website. He came home smelling great with a cute little bandana. Maybe they are not the cheapest place in town but they are well worth the mula for the service and care they provide!

Very satisfied with our first experience. They made it easy even contact my previous vet to get all the info since we are new in town. We took 2 of our dogs for grooming and they were all amazing, the lady who took care of them (her name escapes me) was very nice and she understood exactly what I wanted and they both look so cute. Also GREAT price. I will definitely be back not only for grooming but also regular visits for all 3 of my dogs.

We've used Davis Animal Hospital since we moved to Pensacola in December. It's the way they handled my puppy's heartworm treatment this summer that warrants the five stars. They were so great with handling everything and never got upset at my constant calling and asking questions. To add on: forgot to mention that when we first got here, they sent us a Christmas card welcoming us, which was such a sweet gesture! Everyone here is extremely friendly and does their best to make sure your worries are eased and your fur baby has the best care!

I used Davis Animal Hospital for the first time after finding them on Groupon. I brought two of my cats for vaccines and was very impressed from the moment I walked in. Check-in was friendly and prompt (after oohing and aahing over my pets, of course!) and the vet tech was great in documenting medical history and determining my needs for the visit. The vet was friendly, thorough and knowledgeable and took time to talk to me about the cats' health and future medical needs. I was impressed by the technology used throughout the visit - online registration, tablets, electronic receipts and documentation. They also do follow-up calls which is great. 5-STAR treatment from start to finish - will continue to use in the future and highly recommend to anyone for a great vet experience.

After making the decision to move on from the vet office I had been using, I tried out a few of the other offices around town that were recommended frequently. Some of the others were fine, but none felt "right". I had two cats needing their vaccinations updated and I called three offices I hadn't tried yet to inquire about pricing and general questions about what their protocols were for annual exams. Davis Animal Hospital was the 3rd one I called and from that very first phone call, they were fantastic. The staff is always so friendly and I never feel rushed or like my pet is just a number to them. They take their time explaining things and make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. I was really worried about leaving Stella for a procedure that required her to be anesthetized, especially at a place that was new to us, but honestly even interaction I had with them leading up to the procedure was so pleasant that I felt confident that I was leaving her in good hands. I also LOVE how upfront they are with their pricing. You get an estimate before anything is done so you know ahead of time what you're paying for. I have several animals and I am so so soooo happy I finally found a vet office that I feel comfortable with. Just starting with the sweet girl who answers the phone, I already knew that we were in good hands. Our vet tech was extremely knowledgeable when I had MANY questions pertaining to vaccinating my cat and the vet herself was very thorough in her examination. I live in Gulf Breeze so this is by no means a short drive for us to make (especially with a kitty who hates the car) but I will surely make this drive again anytime we need to make a trip to the vet.

They were so great at sending us emailed postcards of our pups so we always knew how they were doing on top of being able to view them via camera anytime we want. The staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgable from the front desk to the veterinarians. They were able to answer all the questions we had from feeding to medicine to even giving us clues to the ancestry of our rescue dog (just guesses about the last one, but it was still a nice personal touch). Prices were very reasonable for quality service and they were even able to provide some free samples of food and anti-flea medication.

Davis takes wonderful care of our two pups. When we adopted a rescue that had a shattered front leg and a gunshot wound, Dr. Ashley and and Dr. Monty were able to fix him up. Now Dr. Ashley is also taking care of our new service animal. The staff is always willing to answer questions and treat your pets like their own. The owner cares so much about animals, she would take them all home herself if she could. Updated: This seemed like a great office at first. They tend to over-charge on everything. If you don’t buy medication through them, they give you a guilt trip. They also make buying anything online super hard. We had an okay time with them but once we moved away and went to a couple different vets, I saw just how better offices can be :/ Great vet experience! We got our dog from the shelter and took her here for a check-up after having her for only a couple days. I was nervous about handling the dog by myself around others (she is strong pup). They were more than accommodating to us! The vet was knowledgeable and everyone was so loving and nice to our dog!

My cat, Coda, has severe anxiety during vet visits. The staff at Davis Animal Hospital was very patient and accommodating. They truly tried everything to make him more at ease. They were very kind and professional. I also appreciate that they made me aware of all of the possible treatment/medication options and didn't try to pressure me into anything unnecessary. Hopefully, the sedative they gave me will put Coda more at ease for his next visit! I'm thankful we found such a caring vet.

I have recently taken a foster dog named Walker to Davis Animal Hospital for a check up. He received all his shots and de-worming. The vet office is very clean. The staff are professional and have a clear love for animals. They provided loving care for this baby. They gave him a complementary nail trim, small bag of food, and pulled several ticks off him for no charge. This was very helpful as several private individuals are helping financially with Walkers care until he is adopted. I recommend this vet as they are top notch.

This is a terrible place in every aspect! The owner of this place is totally psychotic! Her name is April Ball. She is a nut job, she clearly hates her job. She is an evil witch, vindictive, and a LIAR. After a 1 1/2 hour drive a reach the clinic. Upon entering I knew I should have turned back and drove home. The facility is old, smelly and has a nasty moldy fountain in its waiting lobby. The Vet was very nice, professional and knowledgable. He told me he would not do the needed surgery because he would do more harm than good. I paid my bill of $350.00 and even made a near $100.00 to their referred charity. April Ball was peed off because she lost money for a very, very expensive surgery. No sooner, 4 hours, after I arrived home the owner, April Ball, began attacking me online! This was totally unacceptable! Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS TO DAVIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL, DRIVE PAST THIS HELL HOLE. April Ball only wants your money!

I visited this facility yesterday when I ran out of options for my little baby girl, shes a 7 weeks old kitten named Marilyn and was in a bad accident leaving her with a traumatized spine making it unable for her to use her hind legs and I couldnt find a shelter to take her so I had to turn to the worse.. I went in for them to send my baby to her forever resting home and they were so kind and hopeful that they are giving her another chance at living the best life she can! Now I'm so hopeful and my heart couldnt be more blessed with love! I know shell get the love and care that I was so unable to provide. After taking my dogs to the same vet office for years, I switched to Davis Animal Hospital because I was under the impression that the previous vets were more concerned with getting money than actually helping my dogs. My dog has had recurrent, antibiotic-resistant ear infections for years, which hadn't been properly treated by the old vets (they repeatedly provided the same testing and medications knowing that they didn't help). At our first appointment yesterday, they cleaned my dog's ears thoroughly (something the old vets hadn't done), performed different testing, and prescribed new medications (a steroid and ear drops) to use while waiting for the test results. When I was administering the ear drops today, I ended up crying happy tears because my dog wasn't scared of me touching his ears or crying in pain like he has for years. The fact that - after years of suffering - my dog is already feeling better following a single appointment with Dr. Virgilio is a huge testament to how wonderful Davis Animal Hospital is.

We recently took our dog to Davis Animal Hospital to have her ears looked at since she was making it known that her ears were bothering her. We took her in and the staff was wonderful with her. She was very shy at first meeting the Techs and the Vet; but she handled it well! The tech was WONDERFUL! Dr. Ashley is first started working with our dog, Coconut, when after a different vet gave Coco a terminal diagnosis of neck cancer and a time frame of “weeks to a couple of months”. Dr. Ashley introduces her self by getting down on the floor and giving coconut a belly rub and ear scratch. We explained that we were looking to make sure Coconut was comfortable for whatever time she had left. Dr. Ashley immediately put us at ease and was 100% on board to make Coco as comfortable as possible. Coconut has done better than anyone could have anticipated and, while she still caries a terminal diagnosis, she still enjoys her life because of the excellent care from Dr. Ashley. Since we first started going to Dr. Ashley , we have had a new addition to our family. Andy is a four year old retired racing greyhound. It can be very difficult to find vets who are comfortable and experienced treating Geeyhounds for several reasons. Our adoption organization. Talked to Dr. Ashley and were very comfortable with Andy receiving care from her. Our dogs haven’t been treated by every vet at Davis Animal Hospital, but I can tell you that Dr. Ashley is competent, kind, generous with her time, and ALMOST ALWAYS DOES A FULL PHYSICAL EXAM (it shouldn’t be rare but she is the ONLY vet I’ve seen check reflexes, lymph nodes, teeth, heart/lungs sounds, abdominal palpating, etc). I trust Dr. Ashley with my family.

I absolutely love the staff! I have been taking my baby "Annie Oakley" to day care there for about five months now an she absolutely loves it! She always eager to go in an watches out the window on the way there ,an gets so excited when we pull up! The staff are sooo nice an know her by name an keep a awesome eye on her. I love the staff is also knowledgeable an work in the vet part as well. Recently they discovered she had a lump on her throat an let me know then reminded me to make a appointment to have it checked out (not cancer thank god) also went into detail about the price an what needs to be done with Annie's teeth etc.... Veterinary clincs are awesome because of the wonderful things that they do for the precious life of an animal that you love and care for. It is at certain moments when a clinics true colors show that will remind you of what that specific clinics motivation truly is. My dog who loves other animals played with a stray cat that used to come around a little too rough last night. I fought back for the cat and separated them. The cat was crying in pain in the middle of the night while pouydown rain so i wrapped her up in a towel and gave her some comfort. I decided to drive her to the only place open at 2:30am so they would be able to take care of her and try to give her a good home through adoption programs like almost every clinic would do with animals who arent being taken care of. I told the nurses at the front desk what had happened and begged them to help this poor precious baby girl even though i dont own it nor does anyone else. They refused...WHY?! Unless i was going to take ownership of the cat and pay $95 for an examination, they didnt want to do anything. Even when she was right in front of their faces crying in pain they still have the nerve to not help her. They are working there to help save lives by no matter what the odds may be or under any kind of circumstances. Does this action not reveal that you yourself are defying the own laws of nature of becoming a veterinarian?! Why else did you become one?! So you can have the pleasure of watching them die? Or is it so that you can just make money off of helping defenseless animals who dont even have the chance of surviving in a human environment because he destroy everything in our path aggressively or not; knowingly or unknowingly. Best believe if I did have $95 to give to yall i would have done it just to save one life cause thats what being a veterinarian is all about. None of u wanted to step up to the plate either and even offer to help pay for it. Not your problem right? Its not your cat or dog so who gives a flying duck right? I never wish anything upon anyone because i love good karma, and i mean this from the bottom of my heart, I hope that if that day comes when something like this happens to your loving pet, someone would be there for you. What if that cat belonged to someone? Someone like you? And you would hope and pray that someone like me would pick her up on the side of street and do everything in their power to help save that one...precious...life. So, i brought her back home with me. Got her snuggled up woth some blankets, handfed her milk and just sat there with her while i lay in bed. The constant cries and moans and i couldnt do anything about it but there were people who could but didnt want to or werent allowed to. If helping an animal like that went against policy and you could possibly get fired or in trouble etc etc, your lucky that i dont work there because i wouldve helped it no matter what the costs were. In my heart i know i wouldve done the right thing and no job, amount of money or human being would stand in my way because that is what being a veterinarian is all about and you guys are the complete opposite. Dont tell me that, “Oh you didnt know if she was even gonna make it” or “Maybe its too sick” or whatever the hell you are thinking right now. That cat laid there and cried right next to me FOR 3 HOURS!!! Until the crying became small meows and then it was silent. Whatever surgery it had to go through if I had the money for it, she wouldve made it. I know she wouldve but instead, you turned down the only chance she had and now SHE had to suffer for it while you and your coworker continue to sit there and watch cat videos on your computer contradicting your own existence and what you do with your life. I know...KNOW!!! HOPE would've been a nice sweet loving cat to make a family of 3 turn into a loving family of 4 and now we will never know. Maybe she can be the symbol of what your clinic needs to become in order for yall to truly become veterinarians. HOPE is her name because without her you will never prosper.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and were wonderful with Maddie. We received an appointment reminder call the day before her appointment and a follow up call the next day to check on Maddie.
