The staff at Ark always takes excellent care of our 5 pets! We always see Dr. Tucker, and he is an excellent vet! Not only is he great with our pets, he also communicates well with us, the pet parents. Ark staff treats our pets like they are members of our family, because to us they are. One of our dogs has diabetes, so she requires some special care. They have done an excellent job in guiding us through taking care of her. I am very particular about who takes care of my pets, especially now that one of my dogs has diabetes. Up until finding Ark, I never trusted any place to board our pets, but we have boarded our dogs with them numerous times and everything has always gone great!

I recently visited Ark Animal Hospital in Liberty, MO with my Large Dog and energetic toddler in tow. the first thing I noticed about the office was the awesome play area for kids. It held my sons attention while I was able to fill out paperwork and speak to the friendly ladies at the front desk. We did not have to wait long to be seen and once we were seated in an exam room the Doctor met with us promptly. Even though my son was quite literally bouncing off the walls, the doctor was very patient with us and took his time explaining everything to me regarding my dogs health. My dog is a rescue and tends to be a bit nervous in vet environments because of all she has been through, but she was very relaxed through the visit. I would definitely recommend Ark Animal Hospital.

We've always been able to get someone on the phone quickly, get an appointment time that works for us, and they absolutely make sure all of our questions and concerns are addressed before our appointment is over. Please educate your employees. My husband came in to buy capstar for 3 cats & was told he had to have an RX, he told the young lady at the front desk it doesn't that it is sold in stores but we didn't need a whole box, she then proceeded to tell him even the pet food they sell requires a RX. & that capstar in stores wasn't same. Seriously? Anyway he went to River Region was in & out in under 5 min with capstar.

Excellent experience. Had the worst case scenario my mastiff in the last year of his life came down with cancer. It was a no win situation and I knew it. They handled it with professionalism and caring knowing how much he meant to me having him 12 years. Dr. Cole Tucker is a great veterinarian and a great person, they're staff is kind and caring from start to finish. I still take my other two dogs there.

Our dog has IVDD, which causes back problems and even paralysis at times. After surgery at MU in Columbia, physical and water therapy were recommend, which is how we ended up finding and trying Ark in Liberty, a little closer to home in Lees Summit. We have been happy and confident with the care at Ark. Dr Denny has proven to be very thorough and takes the time to explain treatment plans and conditions; and does so in a manner with analogies ensuring you understand. Additionally, he doesn't use a cookie-cutter approach, he tailors to the individual needs of your pet. The therapists have proved to be trustworthy, competent and caring too. Would highly recommend. We make the drive to Liberty, they are worth it.

Warm, inviting vet office. Gorgeous front office...interesting to see the other animals coming in, and the little kittens for adoption. Usually not a long wait, and the checkups/shots are pretty quick. The prices are usually par for the course where vets are concerned.

He came in for an emergency visit and it was $125.00 to have him come in and then the treatment costs. But he was very nice and compassionate to my nervous tears. He knows his stuff!!!!

I prefer this vet because there is hardly any wait time between actual scheduled appointment and someone coming into the room unlike other places we've been to, and easier to schedule an appointment, as well. Fantastic service and convenient location! The owner and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I’ve been taking my cats here for a year now. Last month, I brought one of my cats in for x-rays and they recommended immediate surgery for something in his stomach. They informed me of my options, called another clinic for a second opinion, gave me a price range, and got him in the next morning. Turns out he swallowed a bread tie! They were highly professional and compassionate when I was frantic about both his well-being and the cost. It wound up being 1/3 what it would’ve been if I had gone to an emergency clinic or waited. He’s healed well from surgery and has gone back to his regular playful self. I’m incredibly thankful for the high quality care he received here and can’t speak more highly about them!

It is a walk-in vet, so you don't have to worry about appointments. **UPDATE** I just wanted to say thank you to the very kind staff here. They have always done an amazing job with my animals. I had to recently put my mom's dog down after 15 years. It was very hard and I was a mess and crying. They were so very sweet and caring. They even sent a sympathy card in the mail afterwards. I ordered the deluxe cremation package. It was worth every penny to have that for my mom. Thank you again for going above and beyond what is expected.

My dog, Lucy, had her first appointment there today for an anal gland abscess. They were able to drain it right away after sedating her. The whole procedure was short and I was able to pick her back up in 30 min. The staff are very friendly, from the front staff to the Dr. They were all very informative and professional. Their pricing is very reasonable. I made the appointment the day prior and the wait time in the lobby was very minimal. I appreciate their $5 new patient exams and their referral program as well. We have been to this vet many times. Never had problems until the last year or so. I do not understand what is going on. They don't care about the animals, it's get em in and get em out with as many shots as possible and upcharge upcharge upcharge... Now, they have lost our dogs records and won't confirm the shots they have received to our groomer. Told the groomer they haven't seen my dogs in several years. When in fact we've been in there 3 times in the last year. My wife called in to find out what's going on and they got smart and snappy with her. Never go here!

They told me they had never seen a cat's glands get that large in the almost 30 years they had been working. It was neat to see the whole office following her instead of just a dr or two that was working with us to get her back to health.

The doctor that is now full time should not work with animals. She was scared of my lab just because of his size. She fed him a jar or treats just to keep him away from her as she spoke to me about him being overweight. She didnt complete an exam and when asked, she said not to worry he's young and healthy. At the end of the visit, I was still charged for the Exam. I called the owner the following Monday and he was defensive from the very start. He will be refunding the exam, which proves she did not do her job. Ark will not get another penny of my business and I will tell the world of this experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE!! That doctor is there for a paycheck and does not care if your animals are in fact healthy.

The staff is also exemplary and so sweet and caring. The waiting room and examination rooms are kept extremely clean. There is no pet smell when you walk in. They honor appointment times and there is virtually no waiting (which is really important when you have a sick or anxious pet). I would not take my pets anywhere else since experiencing Ark Animal Hospital.

My Kaya is an American Eskimo rescued from a puppy mill last August. She got all her shots and was spayed by the Great Plains SPCA before they would adopt her out. I needed a personal vet as we had not had a dog for some years. About the same time that she needed her yearly check up, we found that we were also going to need doggy day care for a time. I found Ark online. After some reading and checking I decided to take her there for treatment as well as daycare. I was a bit concerned as to how well Kaya would do, while she had bonded with us she remained suspicious of anyone new. The first day I took her in, she was greeted - with treats! And went with them willingly. When I picked her up I was told how cute and good she had been. Now it has been two weeks and she is excited to be on our way to doggy daycare and even knows which door to go to. And trots off happily without even a backward look. Her medical care has been complete and she is obviously well cared for while she is there. The Ark is handy for anyone in the Liberty area or even coming from the north, as we do. What more can you ask for?? I am happy I made the choice and I will be boarding there when we go on vacation in July.

We were able to get in the one weekend each month they are open and had an amazing experience! Dr. Thies is very knowledgeable and the dogs liked him instantly, which is a big plus since one of the dogs is picky with his choice of people. He was also very personable which made the experience even more comfortable. Rochelle, let me tell you, she was absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful, welcoming, and pleasant! By far the best experience we have EVER had at a Vet especially or the first visit! Same for the dogs, this is the first vet they have ever seen where they weren’t nervous or skiddish. Highly recommended and would give them a 10 Star review if it was an option!!!

I highly recommend Ark Animal Hospital. My girl yorkie had 2 precious and healthy babies until day 5 the little girl was non-stop crying and look lifeless. She was hardly breathing so my husband rushed her to our VET (Not Ark) they simply looked at her and said there was nothing they could do that she was dying. We were told to take her in to their Hospital in Winter Haven to Euthanize her. As my husband was driving he passed by ARK Animal Hospital and stopped to get a second opinion, we wanted to see if this little girl could have a second chance. As my husband walked in the staff was AWESOME, they immediately took Pebbles in gave her oxygen for about an hour and some meds. Dr. Rogers and Tim were AMAZING explaining everything and they said they would do whatever they could to save this little girl. Well, Pebbles is one chunky little baby and is full of life. We will be coming to this VET from now on. I truly appreciate how they went above and beyond to save my little girl. Thank you ARK you all are the BEST!!!

I love the vets and staff at Ark Animal Hospital and have been going to them for pet care since 1993 (before it was Ark Animal Hospital). They have the most amazing attitude and incredible customer service. Once I had bought a puppy from a breeder and it ended up with a terrible birth defect and had water on the brain. It only lived for 8 days after I brought it home, and it went blind and was just a horrible situation. We weren't sure if it might have rabies or what. The staff and Dr. Denny at Ark helped me deal with that horrific situation on a Saturday morning, and stayed open 2 extra hours to help me deal with it. Dr. Denny called me at home to check on me that Saturday afternoon, and they just couldn't have been more helpful or gracious about everything they did. I don't think I would ever get that kind of customer service from any other vet. So I will not going anywhere else. They are wonderful.

$$$$$ Want to over pay? Come to ARK! Charged us for follow up shots and didn't tell us we had a refund when we cancelled it. Other vet had to call them and get us our money back. We went to the other vet because ARK quoted us $800-$1100 for teeth extractions and other vet only charged us $550! WOW!! They must be making a killing! FAT FAT WALLETS HERE AT ARK!

Each of the doctors and veterinary technicians that we've worked with have been very patient, informative and helpful. We bring our 9 month old puppy here as well as our 7 year old Shiba Inu who has horrible allergies. They've been very willing to help us combat his allergies with new treatments and really think outside the box compared to other vets that we have seen in the past. They also have provided free samples of heartworm medicine and lots of educational print-outs for us to take home. They really help you be informed about your pet's treatment-- no guessing games here.

Doctors Denny, Tucker, & Morrow and staff are the best. Dr. Denny took care of my 2 Golden Retrievers through their life. He always spent more time counseling me on their health than my own Doctor would. He explains in a way that is easy to understand. With his extensive and revolutionary study in therapy and rehabilitation prolonged the life and quality of life of Nick by more than a year to almost make it to 15 years old. They are now taking care of my new Golden Retriever puppy Massimo. They even led me to Massimo's breeder. The girls that assist the doctors are enthusiastic, experienced, knowledgable, and happy. My husband an I rescued our puppy and brought her in for a check up. They greeted us with warm smiles and even helped our nervous pup get through the door. Once we got her in the room the vet techs were all ready to help her and cleaned her up real nice (she had a lot of ticks and stuff in her ears). Dr. Rodgers came in to look her and told us everything that was going on with her and any concerns she had. She gave us some great medication that was at a reasonable price. Our dog was pretty sick and had a lot going on. We are now going into her second week after visiting ark animal hospital and she is a new dog! She is more active and is always excited. We are so happy with the service we received from them and would recommended them to anybody looking for great service at great rates!

Great all-around vet care. As a DoD member, I'm eligible to use the facilities on Maxwell, about 10 miles away, but I prefer to come here because the vets and staff actually seem to care about my dog, and take great care of her. I had questions about her medication, and the vet techs and vet were very generous in answering them, and making sure that she got better. Definitely recommended!

I moved here about a year ago, and had to take the kitties in last year for check ups and a few issues that they had been having. I was so nervous, as their regular vet was 1100 miles away in North Carolina. But a quick google search revealed that this place had great reviews, so I went with them. The appointments were good, and the vets seemed nice as did the rest of the staff. But it wasn't until the last visit for shots, and check ups that I truly fell in love with them. One of our kitties had a reaction to one of the shots/vaccines, and we needed to take her in to make sure she was okay. The vet and staff were so sweet, and informative. They also were super concerned and got her in immediately, it made my husband and I feel so much better knowing she was in good hands. They now have it in her chart, so they know what to watch for, for the next time. I definitely will continue going here, and continues recommending this place.

Our first visit here were great! And we were happy to have found them. BUT our last visit was very very poor. I brought in 2 cats both about 7 months old for final booster shots. I am carrying both carriers and trying to get inside door and I would think someone might have at least held door open. When our appt time came asst came out took both carriers like they were suitcases. ( all other visits they had me come back with them and the vet took a few minutes to let you know anything needed and ask if you had questions) She came back out with them in 5 minutes and said all done. I asked how much they weighed and she said oh was I supposed to weight them? I said yes and trim nails. She returned with them again and I asked what they weighed and she did not know. Had to look at chart and was not on print out I took home. Overall just felt like we were rushed out because end of day.

This is one of the best Vets I have ever been too. Veterans recieve a discount (Vet is a Vet LOL) and they are very compassionate and caring. I had to go to them to have one of my animals put to sleep and they were very compassionate and handled everything for me. Also I brought my service animal here for his shots and wellness checks and they are the best! I highly recommend this Vet over all others in the area (I had a bad experience at Rupert Animal Hospital prior to going here and they are a much better choice over Rupert Animal) I will give them all my business!

The staff there is extremely kind but the vet they had there, I guess because the other vet was on vacation, was terrible. She was afraid to touch my cat and when she tried to give her a vaccine...it was a joke and I'm not sure she even truly administered it since my cat seems to be getting worse. I've never seen someone so unprofessional. Not to mention she used profanity which, in my opinion, is beyond unprofessional. The prices are very reasonable, but I wouldn't take my animals back there if that lady was there. The tech seemed to know more and was definitly more professional.

I've been a customer since I moved to Millbrook in 1993 and they were at the old cabin. I always have 2 to 3 dogs so I have been there many, many, many times. The last couple of years it has been more about the dollars than the dogs. The up-charging has gotten bad. The last straw was they refused to sell me sentinel for one of my dogs that I had got from a rescue less than a year ago and I had paperwork showing that the dog had been treated for heartworms and I had purchased it previously for other dogs, one of which had recently been euthanized and I used the rest of that to maintain for the current one. They wanted that almighty test fee and refused to sell it. It used to be about the animals, sadly that is no longer the case. I am no longer a customer.

Ark is top notch! The staff is so friendly and kind. We always get right in for our appointments, and they are quick, yet thorough. We recently had our canine neutered at spay neuter KC, but had a few hiccups afterwards that Ark gladly helped us with. Nothing major, but they took such tender and loving care of Ren. We had a small scare that ended up being swollen glands and they didn't even charge us for that particular visit. They are definitely our lifelong vet and I highly recommend them.

I haven't had a pet or needed a vet in over 20 years. I was looking for a vet in the Liberty area and when I googled, Ark popped up first. I called and got my puppy in that same week. The people were all super nice. The vet was thorough and very explanatory (not sure if that is a word) in regards to what I can expect as my puppy grows and matures. I plan to revisit when needed, but I honestly don't remember being told how often he needs to be checked out or what shots he may still need.

Been using these vets since around 2009. Always been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I have called there several times just to ask questions and they have always answered my questions. I took my elderly Boxer there and Great Dane and Chocolate Lab and they were so understanding and careful with my babies and really took time to answer all my concerns. When my Dane was diagnosed with bone cancer they were so sympathetic and gave my all of my options and even went as far as to help arrange with the chemo treatments arrangements and even transportation if I needed help with that. I would highly recommend these wonderful vets to anyone. We still use these wonderful people today. They are in my book the best around. And even the girls and guys at the front desk are Wonderful too. Amy you rock!!
