Loved every moment here. I know its getting bigger quickly, but class size made the whole experience perfect for me.

UW Bothell is a great school with many talented students and instructors. I learned a lot about health equity and social justice from knowledgeable professors. Yet, I think there is room for improvement. UW needs to create a more inclusive school environment, create more access to support systems to help students to navigate the college experience and use collaboration between students and classes more effectively. But if you are eager to learn, can be open to challenging or new experiences and have adequate support or financial help then UW Bothell will probably be a good fit!

I attended the UWB 5 years ago and I was very happy with my experience there. I received a full scholarship for their IAS program. Every class I took was taught by a professor with a PhD and they were all experts in their field. The campus is very easy to get to and the classrooms were comfortable. I would strongly recommend this school to my friends.

My friend goes here and really enjoys it.

Knock-off Seattle campus. Limited food/coffee options, even more limited parking. Cool teachers/staff though. Also has a sweet wetlands restoration going on.

There are so many benefits to going to a satellite campus of UW, smaller class sizes, more opportunities, etc. The main issue with this campus is access to food. As a student you're likely there much of the day and unfortunately the only nearby option within reasonable walking distance are two expensive coffee shops and a Subway. Be prepared to drive off campus or bring food. Otherwise this is an excellent option for those interested in attending the University of Washington but either aren't able to get into the main campus or would prefer smaller class sizes.

From someone who attended the main Seattle Campus and UWB, I enjoyed the smaller class sizes, the relationships with my professors (who all had a PhD), and the community of students. Business program was great! Parking is still tough. Arrive 20 min before class at a minimum to park.

When purchasing text books for my daughter on-line to be delivered to a local community college, they put a hold on her checking account two times each for the full price of the books, which put her account in the negative balance of over 300 dollars. Discovered this error on a Saturday evening. We live 60+ miles north of the book store, drove there on Sunday and had to meet with many people to try and figure out what went wrong. They figured out it was THEIR ERROR! but said they couldn't fix it until the next day (monday), since the person who could fix it didn't work on sundays. I've worked retail and there are ways to process credits to peoples accounts 7 days a week. It was also strange that once we got home - they had somehow fixed it. If they had waited till monday - there would have been an overdraft fee on her account. As it was she was unable to make any purchases saturday or sunday because they had all her money and more tied up with THEIR ERROR! If I could get her textbooks elsewhere I would.

It’s an amazing college with limited number of students which makes college interesting, gives a lot of opportunities and attention to individual students. Make sure to participate in different clubs, since there are more than 50. Peaceful campus with great accessibility.

Professor Clark Olson is the only reason for me not giving a one star

Skyler Gonsalves

This campus feels like an isolated college, surrounded by nature. The stylistic usage of one-way, tinted windows and modern wood and cement structures makes this an eco-friendly university.

Parking is an issue.

I had the worst experience in this school, I always have problems in registration without reason like it’s either class are closed, even class are open but it keeps shows u this message , or they have registration issues. I am sorry to say that but everything is stressful about being in classes with them , they have evening class all the time and sometimes you have to take their evening classes, once I enrolled in morning class earlier last summer to realize they switched lads time to late evening.

Terrible parking services. They give tickets like candies

Literally one of the worst introduction to biology sequences that has ever existed. They handed us out worksheets in every single lecture and just had us "figure" it out. Lazy professors who sit on their phones while the students fill out a worksheet are the reason for my loss of interest in this school. I will be transferring in the hopes I can find a University that actually teaches its students. If you are studying science, apply somewhere else.

Some staffs there are not nice. They also often ignore the emails. Classes are limited. Students often can not register the classes they want. Most chinese international students can not speak english, even after they graduate from this university (wonder how this university still let people who can not even speak english to graduate). Cheating often happens in this university but professors seem like they do not care (most of cheaters are international students)

For any Veterans with service-related college credits and any prior schooling that would give you incentive to transfer—don’t do it. UW’s image is all that matters, not you. To paraphrase, because I have so many erroneous credits from serving, they keep reassuring me that I won’t be accepted as a pre-major student, basically. They keep insisting that with so many credits, I need to go to community college to get the remaining prerequisites—all while saying none of my transferred credits meet the prerequisite requirements to begin with. Put simply, “go get an entire associates degree worth of credits somewhere else; we don’t want you here because having someone with a lot of credits that isn’t in a determined major makes us look bad.” I would be significantly less bitter had they not scammed me out of the application and transcript fees and told me that at my original visit.

okay, let's talk about that

Great university, pretty expensive, I mean coming from a community college it's a pretty hefty price jump. It hey it's an investment towards your future.

Jordan Gamble

My company pays for my tuition and text books. I can't complain about a free UW education.

Don't waste your time. Education here is a bunch of leftist brainwash. 3600 a quarter and that's not including books or living cost. Plus the financial aid office is run by scrooges. They don't treat the people who attend this "school" as students, they treat them as customers.

Great university for locals who want to be closer to home and like a community college feeling environment. Campus is expanding.

Excellent learning environment, moderately great instructors, some better than others. Beautiful campus, awesome library. I had a very positive learning experience here.

UWB BAP

We love UWB! The institution is on the vanguard of business and science, and is deeply ingrained in providing world class education in an inspiring, modern environment.

Treats students poorly, especially transfer or Running Start students. Constantly impose registration holds when a major is not declared that make it difficult for students to get the classes they need when transferring here, due to credit accumulation, despite the fact the students need to get their pre-reqs done in order to apply for their major in the first place. Very counter-intuitive. Parking is difficult as they over enroll, financial aid is inconsistent, most professors seem more in it for the paycheck rather than the teaching.

If you are coming for business RUN. I entered the "SCHOOL OF BUSINESS" where I found in my first Junior quarter a "student" (for lack of a better word) was asked three times what 100-90 was...they couldn't answer. I honestly thought that after two years the less capable students would be weeded out...I was appallingly mistaken. I left a day after that. I wish this was a joke, unfortunately higher education (even in some IVY league departments) seems to be worse than indentured servitude.

I work in the lab at STEM. The professors are great and they have a robotics program.
