Only the tuition makes it 'prestigious'. Known for nothing outside of basketball. No one outside the NW has ever heard of it. A Catholic school for mostly non-Catholics. Great if you want $50k/yr in loans. Oh but it 'would have been $65k but they were so generous!' People with better options always go somewhere else. Listen people, if you need a mortgage to go to school, and think going to a Jesuit college teaches you morality, that's sad. Therapy is cheaper. An English degree doesn't care where it came from. Especially a BA in anything. You like basketball, well, then go to Louisville or Kentucky. They actually play more than 1 ranked team a year.

I've recently committed to the university for next fall and I could not be more excited to attend GU! I've visited multiple times and the campus is absolutely beautiful. The professors and students are very welcoming. The tuition is definitely on the expensive side but I've received generous financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Apply for all the outside scholarships on their database and get your FAFSA done asap. The Spokane area is wonderful with many fun things to do. Great ski hills, geocaches, and outdoor adventures everywhere. Everything about Gonzaga makes me beyond thrilled to Be A ZAG!

I really liked the school (when we did a visit). Seems like a place that students can focus without a lot of outside distraction. Sad to hear how hard it is to get to a basketball game. And seems to be little to no support for club sports (namely the hockey team).

Love my experience here so far. Gonzaga University really works to put their students first and give them the resources that they need to be successful.The students and faculty love the Spokane community. There's nothing quite like being a Zag.

Best Unversity in Eastern Washington. People complaining about it being liberal and well educated (aka close minded to guns and pompous) likely don't value education and critical thinking themselves. I will send my children there happily and love watching them grow into well-rounded, thoughtful, caring adults.

Although Gonzaga has nearly doubled in size over the past 25 years, it has retained its core values and community feel. The campus is immaculate and ever expanding. The faculty is tremendous. Still a great place to get a quality education. Undergrad programs are some of the best in the region. The Law School is highly respected. GU is so much more than just a basketball team.

Only negative remark comes from mandatory group work and projects, but that's to be expected when your age is closer to the instructor than peers. I would love to grab a beer with all but maybe one or two- they're hilarious and so knowledgeable but underrated and mocked for not being todays consumerist teen's representation of 'cool'. Waiting a decade-ish before starting undergrad makes me a very poor fit at this university, but it had opened SO many doors and I love that my larger perspective is welcome for context for those learning from a book vs. life. If given the choice again knowing the mindset and priorities of the majority of its students I do not know if I would choose GU again.

Gonzaga is bad example of Spokane community! They are a pompous and hypocritical community of people that think they are better than others around them. I have spent 3+ years in the Gonzaga area and have seen very little positive going on there. Stay away from this campus and its people if possible! You will be better off for it.

In my experience, Gonzaga does not qualify as a good school. Sure, you could go to classes and pick up a thing or two, but you could easily learn more online. I honestly can't say that Gonzaga has helped me in my career at all. And now, with the news about the hiring of Melissa Click, its pretty obvious that they don't know how to actually hire good professors. Stay away!

While a student at Gonzaga, I didn't realize that my time there would shape the rest of my life. Now, years later and after earning a post-graduate degree from a much larger university, I look back and am grateful for the education I received at GU. This is a great university.

Beautiful campus in a surprisingly cozy setting. Love the mature trees, brick buildings, and ornate cathedral. My wife is attending grad school here and she couldn't be more pleased with the high level of professionalism, and quality of her education.

After visiting, I was extremely impressed. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, I was stunned by how friendly the community was. All the facilities were nice and I had a great touring experience. My overnight hosts were great and I really got a feel the place. The engineering department was solid and the Jesuit motto was definitely strong. A lot of Cura Personalis. I'm glad to say that I will be a Zag next year.

Missing you, Fr.Carroll, Jesuit and Academic Advisor back in the days when AROTC Cadet at Gonzaga University! Hello, Captain Daly of AROTC! GU back many years ago when I was a student cadet there; beautiful campus; but above all Crosby Center GAMP Career Advisor Mr. Kevin Pratt made the experience at GU Awesome! Greetings to Ms. Laurie and Ms. McDonald of Administrative Building Switchboard whom allowed me to play really loud without being scolded on the Admin Building's 3rd floor Chapel Piano whenever I was up! And the times I played by ear on that 2nd Floor Crosby Center's Piano. Miss the COG with to go sandwich brown bags with extra sandwich, apple, juice we could grab on our way out. And back in those days when I went to GU; current 2017 President of GU was single and in charge of GU Housing! Do miss the fact that GU's President seat is no longer filled by a Jesuit Priest. Oh, saw Utah Jazz John Stockton at Gonzaga Gym with his back then two blonde not school age yet youngsters. Great Jesuit Tradition based. Very inclusive to diversity. Gorgeous on campus St. Al's church open to public. Beautiful and safe campus. Absolutely the Best On Campus housing for Freshman and Sophomores. Ordering extra bread sticks from that Pizza Pipeline was the thing back then!
