Think twice before transferring to this hell.Do not fall for Day 1 CPT, Your work location has distance limit -if one mile more than their location limit-CPT denied, Their genius staff will contact the company on the offer letter and enquire about you and your job duties-if not matched -CPT denied.They will ask for job duties and compare with your course curriculum- if not matched- CPT denied. If you want to transfer to other univ,they will charge you $1000. They have a rule of Mandatory 1 semester to stay with them before transfer, even though you're not interested. If you request for transfer in the middle of the semester,they will first DENY your SEVIS and then transfer. All their classes are on weekdays. So,why do you want to make your life more difficult by losing your money.

This school should not be allowed to operate a nursing school. They just steal students' money. Their instructors are a complete joke with any good ones leaving quite soon. Clearly, Georgetown U. would not hire any of these jokers! Stratford University is actually started as a Trucking Company to give me CDL licenses - more of the JOKE!

Horrible- horrible- horrible!!! My son spent 40k for a culinary degree and never got the opportunity to walk in the graduation ceremony until 2 years later. Recieved bill after he completed schooling for classes that he was told he needed to be eleigble for student loans. So many issues to list. DO NOT waste your money on this school. (They do not help with employment placement like they promise) They do not return calls when they promise you will. Issues with automic payments creating credit rating issues. Keep looking, there are better options out there. NOVA is cheaper and credits transfer. If you are looking for a culinary degree check out the Cordon Blu schools.

Don't go to this university. The staff are really rude. It's easily to transfer in but not for the transfer out. If you want to transfer out, you have to pay $1,000 for the fee. They said it is their policy, which totally insane.

Do not come to this school!! They are unorganized. Took 4 classes there and I will not be returning back! Go somewhere else! Don't waste your money here! Dr.Ravi does not take into consideration students suggestions made to him on the first and second week of classes. He speaks poorly to his staff. Dr.Ravi is condescending, The dean ( Dr.Resto) at this campus, belittle students if they have concerns. She is condescending and speaks to you as if you are a child. DO NOT SEE or have Dr.Cambell as a professor. She will talk about all her students badly to other students. Please take your money to a university other than Stratford. AVOID Stratford. I

I just graduated from the International MBA program at Stratford University - Falls Church. I am surprised and shocked that some students are very negative about the university. I am an older student who has enjoyed a 40+ years career in Marketing, Sales, Non-profit Fundraising and as a business owner. So, my expectations were high for the school, professors and curriculum. They challenged me to excel and I met the challenge. The entire school is behind the students. If a student fails, it is because they did not make an effort to succeed. I worked hard and it paid off. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and give you a degree, then you are going to the wrong school. If you wish to learn and excel in your chosen field then you should do well. For all those who complain about Stratford, I have to believe your attitude and approach could be part of your problem. And, for the record, I never experienced racism at any level, from anyone.

i went and looked at one of there schools and i loved it! everyone waas so nice the nursying was really cool it was set up as a hospital and the culinary program i have seen 3 other schools and none of them are even close to this one at all not that much only about 3000 semester more hands on i loved it so much im going to this school as soon as i can

I did graduate from Stratford as F1 student but when I file my H1b, USCIS send me RFE that Stratford graduate degree is not consider in advance quota because Stratford is a FOR PROFIT university not a NON PROFIT university. I contact Startford and they said we can not do any thing you should file in undergraduate quota. They never tell you truth, Please be ware of such stuff. After spending huge fees I have to go to other college to get graduate degree again.

I wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!! It is a waste of time and money. The course set up is not conducive to learning and the professors hardly even show up to class. You pay a ridiculous amount of money to essentially learn nothing. A degree from Stratford is worthless. This is a truly horrible school.

This is the worst school on the face of the Earth. The administration and SA offices are completely non-communicative. The school has less than an 8% student retention rate and less than 12% graduation rate. The only thing that I've gotten from here are fees, bill, and headaches.

I feel Stratford University focuses more with the undergraduate program, the graduate program seems to be not as important, especially with Student Support services. Most of the instructors are very hard to understand at times, and the structure of the curriculum is on the level of the undergraduate program. The graduate program needs to incorporate more world experiences within the program and less conversation/stories in the classrooms. Student Support Sevices, lacks the connection with graduates students. There were a couple of postions within the unversity that I was very much interested in, and thought it would be nice, to work for the school were I received my degree, my advisor was not much help, when I asked for their assistance. The second time, Lisa Shutt and Bryant Johnson was great help. However, I'm still looking for position within my field and have not found anything yet! I have been reaching out to stundent support services with no response, very frustrating and disappointing.

I would give this ZERO STARS if I could! I applied (or so I thought!) to Stratford for a PhD program. The admissions counselor was incredibly UNhelpful. Every time I spoke to him (when he answered the phone or his emails) he acted as if that was our first time ever speaking. I paid the application fee and he said he would send me an application that I could fill out. He also said he would have the program chair contact me. That NEVER happened. I never received an application. I never was contacted by the program chair. The admissions counselor never bothered to follow up with me. All he did was send out generic automated emails, and they were blatantly generic! There is nothing more that makes me angry than STEALING my money and WASTING my time! I did NOT feel like I was appreciated AT ALL! Please please PLEASE do not go to this school!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Hope all of you are doing great. In fact, I am one of the expected MBA students planning to join Stratford University very soon as a (full time student). From all what I read so far, it seems to me that the majority of students those have an experience with this academic institution are not happy or satisfied somehow. From my point of view, I strongly believe that if a student (he/she) is planning to join any school, must firstly do some effort to check and ask a little about that specific academic institution whether if it really a good one and fits his needs and ambitions or not. Secondly, try to find and ask the (alumni and staff) who graduated from or worked with this university and their experience in everything (faculty, the heaviness of the academic programs, facilities offered, student services, campuses and any other related information that is important and matters to you). Thirdly, and the most important thing is to check with the university or related authorities and ask about the university if its whether recognized and accredited or currently in the process of accreditation of its academic programs or not accredited at all. Lastly, to be fair with myself and the others I have to check, aske and do more searches about this university and then build a strong healthy infrastructure of information so then I can judge one it fairly. It is been said that “People are the fair reflection mirror to judge on you”! Eventually, I will be very thankful to receive any valuable comments from all those who will read my views and also those who had an experience with this respective university or even new people planning to join as a student or staff. Please remember that your valuable comments and advices will help me a lot to shape my decision and the road map of my both academic future and carrier. Thanks to all of you.

The school is a very nice school but if you are going for the nursing program you should look for a different school. Some of the nursing staff of very helpful but others do everything they can to fail the students. My class started with 20 and by 3rd quarter we were down to 7 students. The professors during that quarter changed 3 times for one class (Tysons location) to better staff the Woodbridge location. Sciences classes are good and I hear culunary are great but nursing very bad and not worth time or money, I'm glad I got out when I did.

I am an UnderGrad Student in the Glen Allen Campus and I am more than pleased with the Administration and Professors. I am shocked and appalled at some of these negative statements about the school. I can't speak for all Professors or all Campuses but I can say that the ones here in the Glen Allen Campus are AWESOME! I have never went to them with an issue that either they didn't have an immediate solution for me or worked on one until we got it resolved. They have a genuine open-door policy, they work with you to ensure that your academic goals get met. They offer "real world" industry tips and secrets to help you in your particular academic discipline. The professors are well versed in their fields with decades of experience. They challenge you academically as well as on a personal level; they take a vested interest in your success. I made the decision last August to attend and it has been one of the best choices that I've made. I support Stratford U 100%!

Stratford University is a very friendly and comfortable for a student coming from India, with so many areas to choose from, For IT programs I feel top of the line programmers learned here, including some senior IT professionals working for IBM, Wipro etc, which is really for serious career oriented students. Stratford is really nice, I recommend it.

I am here particularly to rate the nursing program. This nursing program to me was highly racist, and they are overall disgusted by Africans. Nursing programs are difficult yes but this is the only school I have attended where Ive received one bad grade on paper and the Director of the program tells me "Nursing may not be the field for you" They are demotivating, every teacher continuously tells you how high your chances are of failing the course are and how it is not their job to help you succeed. Also the dean of the programs belief is that the teachers are always right. The teachers have the right to adjust the rules based on how they see fit and you as the student just have to deal with it. In the 6 months I was in that school over 45 students either failed out or left that nursing program voluntarily. When I told the dean i was leaving she pulled out a bottle of baileys and poured into her coffee mug as if to say "not another one" I just thank God I decided to leave that school before I failed, I left and went to a ADN program received my RN degree and now have completed my BSN online at Walden University. I am now enrolled in their MSN program and enjoying my career as a registered pediatric Nurse at Childrens national Medical center. I would not recommend anyone to go to that school. Main reasons: -lack of organization -lack of motivation -Pettiness -Racism -Outrageous cost of tuition -Mismanagement by current director I give this school, nursing program a 0 out of 10
