Being able to obtain an online clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology in two years allowed me to further my education and truly apply evidence-based practice to my clinical practice; something that was not a part of my graduate school curriculum 20 years ago.

Adrie Thomson

My husband attends this school and I would highly recommend it to anyone! He graduates in a couple months and we have been very pleased with his education here. As we are getting close to him getting a job, we realize how prepared he is because of the school. He has scored above the national average on his practice board exams. We love the atmosphere the school has created. The small class size has made close knit friendships. We will forever be grateful for this school!

Gina Thurman

Great faculty as well as beautiful campus.

John Palazzo

A concept in learning where educational dreams meet reality!

I have been a student at RMUoHP for the past year. I am in the PA program and have had nothing but repeated positive experiences. Their faculty and administration truly care about the students, in a way that comes off sincere and authentic. I have appreciated the community and team feel between co-horts, programs, and administration and faculty. Student life can be stressful and chaotic, yet the environment of RMUoHP helps counter those feelings by creating a student focused value system, where resources to help you succeed are at every corner. I have loved my time here!

Matthew Haugen

One of the best things about RMU is the campus staff. For the past two years I have been greeted every single time I walked in or out of the school by the front desk staff/campus operation staff. They are the best and the coolest people I have ever met! They are super friendly and always brightened my day, especially on those gloomy test days. My wife came to lunch almost every day for a year and she agrees! We have even become really good friends with some of the staff outside of school. Life long friends!

I am so happy that I chose RMUoHP for my MPAS degree! The faculty here are top notch and they work hard to develop excellent practitioners who truly care about their patients. They teach a holistic, patient-centered, evidence-based model of medicine. The faculty, staff, and administration truly care about the students and their welfare. The program is rigorous, but students feel very supported. This culture has permeated to the student body. Each cohort is a family that cares, supports, and cheers each other on- a rarity in graduate school.

I am currently finishing up the Physician Assistant program and have loved my time here at RMU. I have never met faculty who are more invested in the success of the students. I feel like I was given every resource and more to prepare me for clinical practice as well as for the boards.

Jessica Egbert

I've worked at RMUoHP for nearly 16 years and I'm so proud of the quality, student-centered education provided by the institution.

Choosing to attend RMUoHP is absolutely the best thing I could have done for myself and my family. PA school is a challenge but at RMUoHP, I can trust the faculty to support us the entire way. When I say “us”, that includes my kids as well as my husband. They care about success in the classroom, but also in our personal life. Everyone has truly become my second family and the atmosphere is focused on students. My depth of knowledge has grown, but I have also grown as an individual because of the school’s holistic philosophy. I can’t say enough about this school.

Victor Kizer

I was fortunate to find RMUoHP through a professional contact within the NSCA; my state director. She knew I was looking to obtain a terminal degree focused on human performance and/or health promotion, yet couldn't travel away from St. Louis to attend a resident program. The thing that told me I made a great decision was meeting the faculty during out onsite visits. The faculty has been world class. The second best part, and ultimately the most important part, has been the connections I've made with my peers both in my cohort and those from other cohorts. Getting my doctoral degree from RMUoHP has been the best professional decision I have made and I can't wait to get my dissertation finished and published! I have had a really good experience at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions while attending their DPT program. The coursework I won't lie was difficult, but the teachers are there to support you and will do what it takes to help you succeed. I am currently on my 3rd clinical experience and RMU was able to place me in my dream location at Primary Children's. Being located in Provo is great for those who love the outdoors, sports, art, and anything else Utah can provide.

Kudos to RMUoHP..... Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) provided a scholarly and supportive staff exceeding my expectations. My experiences in the post-professional occupational therapy doctoral program process were quite humbling. After twenty years of experience in the health care field, I remain astounded of how much my knowledge base grew in just a short amount of time. The information gained from this program exemplifies all the necessary content and skills required to succeed in providing evidence-based and value-based care to those we serve. Also, the University lies around a beautiful landscape appealing to the eye. For those that love the outdoors, many outdoor activities surround RMUoHP. In closing, the campus is housed within a safe environment and provide many amenities for all your learning needs. Overall, a great experience! Thank you, RMUoHP! During my time here at RMUoHP, I have been challenged in all the right way to rethink how I clinically assess patients and movement. Throughout my program, I met amazing professors who are truly experts in their fields and always made me feel like I belonged to this community of health professionals. I can’t thank all the people at RMUoHP for helping me achieve my dream of coming back to school and achieving a graduate degree.

I chose RMUoHP for three reasons: 1. Utah is a great place to live if you love the outdoors. 2. There is more clinical experience at RMUoHP than most PT programs. 3. Incredible service opportunities like the Community Rehab Clinic. It’s an excellent place to go to school, with great facilities and faculty .

Michelle Dobell

I am a student in RMUoHP's first Medical Speech Language Pathology Masters cohort. The compassion and considerate nature of the faculty and staff make the experience positive and unique. They take the time to consider everything from the student's learning experience, to helping with your transitioning from home to Provo, to making sure students have a comfortable space to study.

As a student in the PA program at RMUoHP, I really feel like the school has gone above and beyond in its effort to educate me and my classmates in the best way possible. I've felt they've adapted a "learn smarter, not harder" approach, and thus teach in methods that stick the longest and make the most impact. The faculty are amazing, and treat everyone with the utmost respect. It's an incredible school.

Crystal Miskin

"I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for my education at RMUoHP. As a student, the faculty and staff knew who I was and were sensitive to my needs and provided guidance and experiences to supplement my education and development as a budding healthcare professional. I would recommend RMUoHP to everyone. I am proud to be apart of the RMUoHP family." RMUoHP has a wonderful PA program! I have loved my experience with all the faculty members and with my classmates. I feel I have received a great education and I'm loving all of my clinical rotations right now. The location of RMU is close to the freeway and very easy to get to. Utah is incredible and you'll love it here!

Michelle Lourens

Wonderful caring staff!!!

RMUoHP's Physician Assistant program is excellent. Great professors and faculty, great facilities, great location, and most importantly, great students. It's an honor to be part of the program. PA students get a mid-didactic family practice clinical rotation, as well as an opportunity to participate in a international medical trip to Africa for school credit. As an out-of-state Michigan student and University of Michigan alumni, RMUoHP is a competitive program to get into, but well worth the effort and travel time:) Good luck, and enjoy the mountains!

Thomas Tervort

My life is busy! I work full time and am raising 4 children, among multiple other demands. RMUoHP has allowed me to accomplish my goals of furthering my education while maintaining my job and still allowing time for my family. I appreciate and have been impressed with the exceptional caliber of the faculty. They have been wonderful, and even better, they are real people that understand the demands of life.

Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) is a hidden gem in the Rockies! I came across an ad for this school during my search for a graduate nursing program and I am glad I took a leap of faith and applied. My experience at this institution has been nothing but amazing. The quality of faculty and the university facilities were all vital to our learning experience. Led by Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at RMUoHP should be your first choice in selecting where to get your doctorate!! The DNP program was challenging yet suitable for anyone with a busy schedule. The relationships formed at this university will be everlasting, and the networking opportunities that are gained at RMUoHP will greatly impact our everyday practice. I am forever grateful of the opportunity to study at RMUoHP and now a proud alumnus of this great university!

Any school can teach you facts about medicine, if you want to learn facts and the "art" of medicine, there is no better school.

Derek Clewley

My PhD training experience at RMUoHP was truly incredible. My career has really taken off since starting PhD training. The program is fantastic for many reasons including the ability to participate in an intensive training process without having to move. This is very important for mid-career professionals. Furthermore, the faculty that are a part of RMUoHP cultivate a culture of excellence.

Matthew Thomson

I am a PA student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I am about to graduate and have loved my experience here. The professors are amazing and are so willing to help. One of the main reasons I chose to come to this school was because of the professors and their willingness to help you succeed. Graduate school can be very challenging and I have felt very supported throughout the program. I really feel that my success is their success-and that is the vision of RMUOHP.

Jennica Van Blerkom

I'm so happy with my choice to study at RMUoHP. I immediately felt like I belonged and was cared about. The relationship with professors and staff feels like family. I feel challenged, but I also love what I am learning. I have nothing but good to say about my school and my PA program. Take a tour if you are thinking about studying here!

RMUoHP provided a great evidence-based program. This program enhanced my athletic training skills and helped me to think critically when examining literature or hot topics in the field. I am able to be confident in new methods of treatment that I was not aware of before such as blood flow restriction and kinesiology taping.

The program director for the Speech Language Pathology program is incredible. With her come an amazing, supportive, and welcoming faculty. I couldn't have asked for a better community and school to be apart of.

RMUoHP has their first SLP cohort with an emphasis on the medical side of the field. Faculty demonatrate care for the students and they genuinly want to enhance your learning. As time goes on, the faculty has improved the program by focusing on clinical skills and opportunities and consistently asking for feedback.
