This venue was perfect for the large concert. The events staff did an amazing job keeping it as organized as possible. The bathrooms got trashed quick, but that's to be expected. Overall had an amazing time and cant wait to make it back for another concert.

"Can you read?" thats what its staff responsed when i approached for a question. And there is another staff I saw she allowing a visitor going over the fence to the a different seat section But when I ask if i can do it, she solemnly say NO as if she never did it before. So disappointed from a cerrent student

A very nice venue for a lot of local events, there's quite often something going on here, a circus, a comedy act, a musical act. If you can't think of something to do, check their website, there's usually something going on. The venue is clean well maintained and always feels comfortable and enjoyable for all event types.

Great venue with some fantastic events. Big name artists like Brad Paisley and fun shows like a semi rodeo show. The seats are a little close together, and the food is too much money, but that's not why you come here.

Functional arena if boring. As with many large venues, you need to plan extra time to park and ride (or walk - some distance) during large events.

Jehovahs witnesses had their annual convention there this year. It's easy to find your seat because of the way John Q...labels seating. JOHN QM Allowed Jehovahs Witnesses to fix up breast feeding rooms and put down taped arrows for safety. Jehovahs witnesses cleaned the entire building.....there were Jehovahs witnesses attendants for traffic as there were 5457 people at the convention. JOHN Q HAMMONS is a very handy place to have activities and lots and lots of parking..thank you John Q!!!!!

This place is very disappointing. Venue is the issue not the acts. Restroom dirty and the concessions were a joke. Seats in auditorium were very high school like. Place very sad.

Great arena. Everything was super clean and up to date. All the concession stands had a great selection of food as well. Navigating the arena was pretty easy as well, finding my seat could not have been easier. Parking was the best, but it also wasn’t the worst. But then again, what arenas do have good parking.

Just saw Jim Gaffigan tonight, and was not impressed with the venue at all. I've seen shows here before with zero issue, but tonight, a huge line of people was wrapped around the building, which kept a large number of people from getting to our seats in time for Jim to start. The show was not delayed at all (surely starting 15 minutes later wouldn't have hurt), there were no employees helping people find their seats, and it was unacceptably hot in the arena. I have tickets to two events this fall, and I sure hope things improve before then.

I attended the Journey concert Monday the 3rd of July. I bought my tickets when they first went on sale. Upon arriving at the will call window, the girl had trouble finding the tickets. 15 or so minutes later, I had them. Then waiting in line, dealing with the stupid security people, In missed part of the show. Opening the doors one hour before the show, having to check 10,000 or more people in, just doesn't work. When I pay good money to SEE a concert, I don't appreciate being held outside the doors while the music is going on. Listening outside is FREE! Someone in charge at JQH needs to go back to grade school and learn math all over. 10,000 people in one hour. Go figure that one out! I, along with several hundred other concert ticket holders were very upset. This won't happen again, because I will go elsewhere to see a concert!

I wish there were a parking garage in one of the many parking lots. It would relieve much undue stress during graduate events. Otherwise, I like the lay out and that they have projectors when you aren't able to sit close.

I purchased Brad Paisley tickets through Groupon. My Girlfriend has MS and I was not aware that the seats were 12 rows up. She could not climb. So I went down and they gave me seats down in the ADA section. Thank you for the help and understanding. It made her first concert so enjoyable.

Great arena it's very clean even the bathrooms. Has several food an drink booths that have a good variety. The seats from balcony to floor have great views. Sound is clean an well heard even from the balcony. This venue has a lot of great performances coming through all the time. I highly recommend coming here if anyone is unsure of going to a event they want to see.
