I have had classes here twice. This ever, same time I’m in Harvard. So I could compare both. mIT look more to modern terms. Harvard try to be classical one. So both are so good. MIT Amazing school. You should definitely walk around campus. Every building is an architectural gem. The views of Boston skyline are great and crossing the bridge on Mass Av walking is really nice. To finish I recommend you to go to food trucks. Modern fast and good foods next to MIT university. That’s sounds so cool.

Evelyn Eiland

I loved the new buildings. I visited the MIT museum and was very surprised. Again, the staff at the museum was very helpful and pleasant. I didn’t make it all over the campus but was very pleased with what I saw.

Love the campus and the surrounding area, so much to see and do here.

This was a great bar. Went out there several times over the past four years. Interesting building choices for a bar; many of them have this rustic dorm-like feel and others even feel like a fraternity out of a movie! Don't go to the academic buildings because they are kind of a downer. Best thing about this bar is the memes. Would have given 5 stars except for it being incredibly hard to find a women's bathroom.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) is a private research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Founded in 1861 in response to the increasing industrialization of the United States, MIT adopted a European polytechnic university model and stressed laboratory instruction in applied science and engineering. The Institute is traditionally known for its research and education in the physical sciences and engineering, but more recently in biology, economics, linguistics and management as well. MIT is often ranked among the world's most prestigious universities As of March 2018, 91 Nobel laureates, 25 Turing Award winners, and 6 Fields Medalistshave been affiliated with MIT as alumni, faculty members or researchers. In addition, 52 National Medal of Science recipients, 65 Marshall Scholars, 45 Rhodes Scholars, 38 MacArthur Fellows, 34 astronauts and 16 Chief Scientists of the U.S. Air Force have been affiliated with MIT. The school has a strong entrepreneurial culture and the aggregated annual revenues of companies founded by MIT alumni ($1.9 trillion) would rank roughly as the tenth-largest economy in the world (2014). MIT is a member of the Association of American Universities(AAU)..

The place is huge, lots of sculptures all around the gardens. You can download the map and make your own research. Very calm and somehow reassuring as to the world's science minds

Yizhi Zheng

very stylish building in the campus! One of the best universities in the world and good restaurants nearby :)

Mwaniki Chris

The way the school is diverse and the kind of quality education you offer makes it the best. I would wish to join you in 2020 and study Computer science and come back to Kenya and make a difference.

I live in Florida but have visited MIT and Harvard once and at the age of 13 I am already hoping to get in. Not only is the education one of the best, but they have creative and upbeat campus life, and to be honest what is there better to tell the HR person in your future job, then that you graduated from MIT.

Kris Hadis

Great campus! Mainly open for public. So many interesting buildings with top notch architectural design. Truly a place where you can find the most brilliant people on earth.

The MIT community is driven by a shared purpose: to make a better world through education, research, and innovation. Founded to accelerate the nation’s industrial revolution, MIT is profoundly American. With ingenuity and drive, our graduates have invented fundamental technologies, launched new industries, and created millions of American jobs. At the same time, and without the slightest sense of contradiction, MIT is profoundly global The mission of MIT is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. The Institute is committed to generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the world’s great challenges. We visited here in Spring. Not crowded. The university is huge and has so many departments and buildings. This is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. We were so much thrilled to be here. We visited a couple of buildings and the great lawn area in front of the main building too. The surroundings are dreamlike and are very student friendly. There are many facilities for students to study, read, have group activities, play and much more. We took some pictures and imagined someday our kid might get into this great university. Thanks so much !!

Anup Banerjee

Even though I am not a science student (anymore), I could feel all an amazing thrill walking through the corridor and the courtyard of this phenomenonal institution. Undoubtedly, it makes sense why this is such an amazing place to learn and develop something new. The surrounding area is also very beautiful, specially the skyline over the river. Surely, would love to come back soon!

I would stay away from this place. A bunch of weirdos live deep underground beneath M.I.T. They make synthetic humans called synths, and they have free thought and choice, but look and act exactly like humans do.

Great campus, one of the mot sought after learning institution in the world...has a food court across the main building and other facilities...no boundaries exist as opposed to modern learning centers in Asia or Europe...food court also houses computer stations for studying, browsing or discussions amongst students...

This is one of the most money minded college/university in the whole country. This was fine when it was under PU but since the time it has become deemed it has become : - Ridiculously expensive course - Pathetic arrogant staff and teachers - Will not consider sport certificate/medical certificate and will mark your attendance low intentionally - Will ask for money to grant term in subjects All they need is money. That's it. BEWARE DONT TAKE ADMISSION IN THIS. YOU WILL REGRET EVERY PENNY.

Probir Kumar Goshwami

Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT) is the world best Engineering and Technology institute. The world renowned institute is taught by would best, experienced and qualified teachers. Scholars from the around world study here. Best and state of the art course curriculum and world best lab facilities. Research teams of the institute is simply world class and probably world best. Great one to pay for visit. Great campus. MIT's 166-acre (67.2 ha) campus in the city of Cambridge spans approximately a mile along the north side of the Charles River basin.[6] The campus is divided roughly in half by Massachusetts Avenue, with most dormitories and student life facilities to the west and most academic buildings to the east. The bridge closest to MIT is the Harvard Bridge, which is known for being marked off in a non-standard unit of length – the smoot.

Energy frequencies and vibrations fuel the universe and is light. Light is the gas that fuels the time in our universe's space. Time is our GPS since time dictates where we are in the space-time continuum. Gravitational lensing proves you can bend light. If you can bend the fuel of time then you can obviously warp space-time to create wormholes for time travel so light can jump across the universe's giant Fibonacci sequence. Since time is light and light never ages it's infinite life is a circle. The same light exists at the beginning of time throughout the middle of time while simultaneously existing at the end of time. Per the standard model of physics and Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity light or information are currently the only thing that can traverse a wormhole. Making time travel possible for light and information. A work in progress by Martin Cabello III.

This is certainly one of the most prestigious institutions in this country, and a great one, nonetheless, for individuals looking to pursue engineering and or other core technical courses required essentially by default in this day and age. The world is a malignant and unforgiving place at best, but to gain admission into this facility is truly an austere goal that many attempt but only few will actually achieve. Good luck to everyone currently enrolled or looking to get in(including myself). The sky isn't the limit, it's what you make it.

I will count on you this summer and see how the IT courses go for me. Thanks again for all the online resources.

Ive never been here I'm only 12 and I'm dedicated to go to MIT, it looks like a great place and my role is to be an aeronautical engineer and become an entrepreneur and that is what the company will be about and go beyond space. If I get accepted to this college, remember me cause this can happen half a decade later..................

Marc Pilossof

Without question, among the very finest institutes for mathematics and the physical sciences. Probably the highest ranked in regards to Physics and Computer Science. The following review is directed to the Department of Physics: Look at the beauty of Newton's Inverse Square Law of Gravity. Einstein's equation for mass/ energy equivalence is simpler, but that much more profound. The Inverse Square Law, however, mimics what should be everyday knowledge. For example, given a 1ft. X 1ft. X 1ft. Cube of gold that weighs 1206 lbs. How much would a cube of half the measure weigh? In other words, how much would a 6in. X 6in. X 6in. Cube of gold weigh? It would weigh precisely 150.75 lbs. So, halve the linear dimensions and you get 1/8 the weight. In Newton's Inverse Square Law, if you halve the distance between two gravitationally attracted bodies, the gravitational attraction will increase 8 fold because we live in a three dimensional world. So, gravity expresses itself three dimensionally, as it should. The fourth dimension is time. Einstein called the combination of all four dimensions "spacetime". The solution to complex problems is never more complexity. The solution is always simplicity. String Theory is an unnecessarily complicated and fabricated route to solving the Unified Field Theory. Myriad numbers of subatomic particles, gravitons, vibrating strings, and the multiverse are evidence enough that String Theory is not Science- it's Science Fiction! Four Fundamental Forces? There's actually TWO. There's gravity, and then there's everything else including strong and weak nuclear force, magnetism, EMR- all of which are sublimations of that OTHER UNNAMED FORCE. Gravity will NEVER be reconciled with the OTHER FORCE simply because our Universe is founded on DUALISM. Gravity is distortion of spacetime by mass. It is that simple! It is not carried by gravitons, it is not transmittable and, therefore has no velocity. Gravity is not Electromagnetic energy. It is the distortion of spacetime by mass. FIELDS, which are always embedded in spacetime are simply distortions of spacetime. Under extreme conditions, such as at the rotational centers of galaxies, star formation occurs and all 92 naturally occurring elements, or their precursors, have their origin here. Matter spontaneously forms in energy nodes in these FIELDS outside the event horizons of large black holes and is driven by the rapid expansion of the Universe. Spacetime is actually expanding away from us at rates far in excess of c or the speed of light. When spacetime expands it takes galaxies with it. What else? Oh, yeah, the infinite divisibility of matter and, similarly, the racking out of Phi and Pi to 5 million decimal places is completely fallacious and is not worth anyone's effort. Matter is NOT infinitely divisible! Matter is composed of indivisible components such as protons, neutrons, and electrons, that are already known and experimentally demonstrable. The components of these subatomic particles that are endlessly being catalogued at CERN need to be scrutinized by scientists outside the field of Particle Physics and proof needs to be given that these particles actually exist in Nature. Just like the hypothetical graviton, the Higgs Boson actually does not exist in Nature! If at all, it only fleetingly exists in the LHC long enough to be detected and that ain't long enough!

When Scientists start abusing their position and let their half-wit political inclinations get in the way of their ignorant hate for certain politicians, MIT fails to be the institute of eminance it desires to be. Recently a bunch of professors (Abhijit Banerjee, Arindam Dutta, Balakrishnan Rajagopal, Mriganka Sur, Ruth Perry, Sally Haslanger, Elizabeth A Wood, Helen E Lee and Abha Sur) bound by their psuedo-hate for the BJP/RSS and the Subramaniam swamy started a campaign to not to allow Subramaniam swany, a noted mathematician (Ph.D from Harward), laywer and the longest serving Member of the Indian parliament from speaking at a conference at the MIT. These half-wits think they have the *alls to stop swamy from speaking his mind. I think, these are paid sleeper cells in MIT which have been activated by their godfathers as its time for a high-pitch elections in India. There ignorant phony intllectuals are too deep down their ignorance to see their fallacies. With such dimwits in the institute, MIT has its downfall on the horizon.

One of the best universities in the country and in the state of Massachusetts if you like science and computer technology and anything related to innovation. There’s a beautiful coffee place near the university for the students to take breaks but the downside of it is there’s a lot of tourists.

Visited the campus during a recent trip to Boston and enjoyed the experience. It's great to see a private university opening its doors to curious visitors who are drawn in by the prestige attached to the school. The Visitor/Information Center is on Rogers Building (aka, Building 7-121) along Massachusetts Avenue, where maps and restrooms are available. The building is hard to miss with its Greek columns and the name of the school and founder inscribed on its facade. Maps are also available on the MIT website. It would probably take half a day to visit the campus at a leisurely pace. If you don't have much time, the Great Dome and Killian Court (green space) are easily reachable from the Information Center and are very picture-worthy. From there, you can reach the waterfront, which offers amazing views of downtown Boston and Charles River. You can even cross the bridge on foot if your next destination is the downtown area.

All of the professors here are so nice, and they're willing to make time for you if you need help with a project, even if you're not an MIT student (as long as you put in the time and show them that you care about your work). The campus is also ever-evolving and very well kept, especially for a school of its size. They work hard to keep as much of the campus as accessible as possible, and you can pretty much go into any building at any time just to see what's going on inside. You can learn a lot from MIT just by being on and around its campus. It's a truly one-of-a-kind place.

MIT... Name is enough...Fascinating Campus! As a tourist, I found out MIT is a cooler place to visit than Harvard. I mean for the architecture, the stories, and the cool things going on in the school. The engineering building was the coolest to see. You definitely need to plan ahead as they have limited space. The hour information session could have been condensed to 35 minutes, but otherwise was very helpful. The walking tour was more informative. The campus is beautiful with many unique buildings. Stroll through Killian's Court and take a walk on the riverside to see the crew teams and sailing teams as they practice and race on the Charles River.

I went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology to look around a school and listen lecture by a professor. Massachusetts Institute of Technology’ Buildings are very diverse. If you go to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, you can see that Massachusetts Institute of Technology has a long history. Like my picture, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has a clear campus. The professor’s lecture was also impressive. Luckily, the lecture was a physics similar to my career. Thanks to professor, my dream became more clear. By touring such a world-class university, I was assured of my career. Hawking radiation is blackbody radiation that is released by black holes due to quantum effects near the event horizon. When light becomes quantum entangled with “soft hair,” low-energy quantum excitations it travels faster than the top speed created to support E=mc2 and General Relativity (186,282 miles per second, 299,792 kilometers per second). Humanity needs to overcome this fictitious number for the mathematical calculations needed for wormholes and the many fields in quantum mechanics. A indisputable scientific fact by Martin Cabello III.

In 1859, a proposal was submitted to the Massachusetts General Court to use newly filled lands in Back Bay, Boston for a "Conservatory of Art and Science", but the proposal failed.]A charter for the incorporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, proposed by William Barton Rogers, was signed by the governor of Massachusetts on April 10, 1861. Rogers, a professor from the University of Virginia, wanted to establish an institution to address rapid scientific and technological advances. He did not wish to found a professional school, but a combination with elements of both professional and liberal education, proposing that: The true and only practicable object of a polytechnic school is, as I conceive, the teaching, not of the minute details and manipulations of the arts, which can be done only in the workshop, but the inculcation of those scientific principles which form the basis and explanation of them, and along with this, a full and methodical review of all their leading processes and operations in connection with physical laws.

People here care more about competence and willingness to share knowledge, rather than only traditional credentials. MIT pioneered the Open Courseware movement in the US, and a decade later, the EdX open MOOC offerings. Also see the MIT Museum, part of whose mission is to make science, technology, and art more accessible to the general public.

Ana Caroline Paiva Gandara

It's not worthy to go there if you didn't go to other places in Boston. All the tech stuff is pretty amazing - but I didn't find it exciting enough to go there. Even being a scientist. Go there only if you really like high tech stuff and have time for it. Good thing: it's not expensive.

Dustin Jee

It is the best technology college that is in Massachusetts and the greatest in general. When I'm bored, I just hang out with my friends at Johnson's ice rink. I also go to the Area four to eat delicious pizzas and drink apple juice. This school is based on engineering and experimenting test subjects. Honesty, I belive that this is the college meant for me and maybe you

Deependra Sharma

World's best Technical Institute. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology was founded in 1861 by William Barton Rogers. MIT's charter (Massachusetts Acts of 1861, Chapter 183, for the bibliographically-minded) foresaw "a school of industrial science [aiding] the advancement, development and practical application of science in connection with arts, agriculture, manufactures, and commerce." More than 150 years have passed since its incorporation, but the purpose of MIT has remained much the same. MIT's current mission is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. The Institute is committed to generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the world's great challenges. MIT is dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus community. We seek to develop in each member of the MIT community the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of humankind.

One of my dream come true to be able to be here and meeting with people I admired and inspired by and is really a boost for me to keep working on our apparel technology and materials chemistry and engineering!

Farrah Lincon

I never went there but I have high hopes that someday I will have the ability and luck to study here I think this is the dream place not just for me but for all of us who wants to be an engineer in the future

Open access to the public! Able to walk around to see the classrooms. Nicely decorated inside as well. Situated just right to the lakeside so really enjoyed the view!

Rachael Palmieri

Did a college tour with my kid. Great campus! Take public transportation if you can. Parking was a bit difficult to find. Ended up finding space in the yellow garage. Not a far walk from where we needed to be.

Joseph Rowe

Absolutely incredible what these professors and students accomplish. I got a brief tour of the media lab. There are amazing things being worked on. I also appreciate the institution putting their courses online for everyone to benefit.

Yuul Selv

You got nothing. No expertise in AI, none in quantum field, NOTHING. Noobs, frauds, and a big old waste of public money. Shut you down.

Gil Ochoa

I read that Luis Videgaray would be teaching in that school, if that is true, it would be a shame that a such a prestigious school would hire this dishonest person that is involved in corruption in Mexico !!

Micah Nelson

thank you so much for making scratch.

Placements: The placements in this college are pretty good. Almost all of my batch mates who attended interviews got placed. They were provided with 2 LPA-8 LPA salary. Companies like Tech Mahindra, KPIY Technologies Ltd., TCS, Zeta, Neeyamo Enterprise and many more visited the college. We have a placement cell in our college and hardworking and talented people work in the placement cell. Infrastructure: This college has a great infrastructure. The building and campus are very clean. There are 2 libraries, computer labs. A washroom is provided on each and every floor. The classrooms are well lit and ventilated. The computer labs are good. The labs have a very high-speed stable internet connection. There is Wi-Fi facility in the college (you have to pay a fee for a month/year subscriptioaculty: The faculty members are great. They're all qualified professionals and they teach very well. Like other institutes, a few teachers (1-2) do a bad job. The college circulates a feedback form every semester for the students to rate the faculty. The head of the department is great. The teachers truly help students outside the college too. Few teachers let the students personally contact them for Other: The college does many events every now and then. Bharati Chhatra Sansad is one of the very famous and unique events held by the college. Then, there is "Enthusiasm" that is conducted every year. The students volunteer and conduct the event. This gives students a great deal of experience and opportunity. Every post is given to a student from event management to security to the felicitation, catering, technical team, etc. There is a special NSS section for students. It's not compulsory but interested students can join the NSS club. The college also takes them to the social service camp. I have a personal experience of the camp and it teaches the students a lot, and it was a great experienc.I had given entrance exams CAT MAT CMAT and Mah-cet I got selected by my MAT. Score which was 89 percentile. This college is well known in Maharashtra for engineering and MBA I m right now in the first year of MBA We have to select specialisation in sem The two year combined fee is rs 4,20,000 Which means 2,10,000 per year It is not that affordable for everyone but it is capable and have can invest looking to Thier records. The average package is 4-7 lakh As per the records minimum of 60% get placed every year The companies which visit the college for placement list is huge as a100 companies come The best I know will pen down Amazon., Flipkart., Birla industries., Hyundai., And many more..I don't live in hostel. College doesn't have hostel facility for the masters students. Yes the college provides proper platform for everyone. There is student alumini meet every year in order to motivate students and get the knowledge of current status of the industry. The faculty is too good Everyone is minimum a PhD. And in well known colleges. Even the co-teaching staff is also an PhD. The fluency of English of everyone is better Some teachers are best. The facilities are good. One should know the talents N should whatever needed The college itself provides a stage for building the inner talents. The culture is chill and the students here are also very helpful so nothing such The curriculum is very good The college has come up with Thier own ideas which includes class work and papers both Practical knowledge is taught through case studies They even have subscribed newspaper for us The college provides internship to 80% of students The slip given was 3-4 k for every student depending upon the company The college conducts all of these events. The people who are called upon for sitting are very scholar The people come here at large for the events The big artists and we'll known people are called upon the stage for motivating students and sharing their knowledge I don't know till now about the scholarship But yes college does help in taking the education loan facility by giving the needed documents for the approval of the loan .

Founded to accelerate the nation’s industrial revolution, MIT is profoundly American. With ingenuity and drive, our graduates have invented fundamental technologies, launched new industries, and created millions of American jobs. At the same time, and without the slightest sense of contradiction, MIT is profoundly global (opens in new window). Our community gains tremendous strength as a magnet for talent from around the world. Through teaching, research, and innovation, MIT’s exceptional community pursues its mission of service to the nation and the world.

We took kids for campus visit in the afternoon, and they love it much better than the one we saw in the morning! Maybe boys are just like the Beaver Tim, work hard and get most job done during the night.

Yusuke Iima

Walked along a river and sat on grass field. I felt I got some inspirations. Also found MIT goods at COOP. I like their t shirts.

I'm in middle school and I want to go there for college and I want to get my scholar ship but, the only way they told me is to join mesa and I do after school in math. And I want to be like this superheros even thought he is not real but, I want to be him and this one.

Josh Knighton

Much more interesting than Harvard's campus and more things to see if you're looking to visit.
