I like the smaller classes because it’s easy to ask questions and learn.

This is a technical school. Formerly Louisville Technical institute, the rebranding was needed. The promised jobs are often low paying, tuition is higher than the local Jefferson Community College, and it is a business more than a school. Credits are LESS likely to transfer if you need to continue your education elsewhere. They will use creative wording without answering questions directly. I can also recall having the same teacher for numerous classes. Please note these are often business men and women who are simply spreading their knowledge (good or bad), and may have a unique approach that doesn't feel like a 4 year college would, because they are not professors. This can be good or bad as well. I do not recommend this school. New face or not, it's still the same. Look at the number of office personnel and instructors that they have carried over.

Nice small classes. Instructors are known in their fields. And the student body is just awesome and full of geeks! And courses move at a steady to fast pace if you want to learn more about any field in Technology this is the place to go.

Very hands on. We move fast but we have a lot of extra help around Atkinson Square campus or the main campus.

I went back in 2007-2009. Wasn’t terrible, but I never got a job. It was a $30,000 piece of paper. I wasted my time and money. Now the school I graduated from(Louisville Tech) is only a memory with no credit. Go to U of L!

Andy Creek

A good school that gives relevant knowledge to its degree programs. They offer a variety of programs, from graphic design, web, and HVAC. The program is very stringent.

Went there in early 2000s, don't get me wrong I did have some teachers there that were too smart to teach there but I had some teachers that did not teach much of any thing. Also the promise of helping you find a job was a joke, when I graduated , I went there to get there help finding a job but they said you just have to get out there and look. They have no connections out there like they said they do. And when I found a job not in my field, they posted it there on there board like they found me a job in my field. Also before I started there I was told I would find a job making $60,000 a year, but when I brought that up after graduation they said they never said that. It took me 10 years to pay my loan off for a piece of paper that is not worth any thing at all, some one should investigate them for fraud.

This school is very money hungry. They lied and said they will help you find a job while getting a degree. My daughter graduated with a Graphic Design Degree in October and have not found a job because they want experience. They also lied about the funding it is always you have to pay for something out of your pocket. I won't never recommend no one to this College. All they care about is money and not the student's future!

The campus is so great and the staff is absolutely awesome and so easy to get along with! I love the small classes and the teachers willingness to help with any questions.

I attended SCTD for the Computer Network Security & Forensics Program. It was a very intense and hard program but, the instructors were very knowledgeable in their fields. They take the time to work with you one on one and strive to make you very successful in the field you want to be in. This is a very expensive program but in my mind it was worth every penny. I went from unemployeed to a very successfull carreer and I believe that without the knowledge and confidence that I recieved it would not have been possible. The staff was great and I would recommend anyone with the desire for a change and drive to go get it, to go for a visit.

The Classes are very small, so you get 1 on 1 time with your professors. Also you

I attended this school for their computer security and forensics program. It was almost pointless. Almost every teacher treats you like a child. They expect you to know everything before you step into the classroom, so when you ask questions they all act like you are stupid. This teaches students to shut up, write down their questions, and ask them of the internet when they get home so that they don't feel embarrassed in class. It has a very bad atmosphere to it. I agree with ICVideo completely. It feels more like a vocational school and not a real college. The degree is expensive and actually useless in the world. getting the degree in security is pointless if you don't get the administration degree as well because most places are going to start you off in low level it not security. They teach you all of the security aspects through administration anyway, so the only difference in the degree is that you get the secutiry+ cert if you go through it too, which is cheaper to get without the degree. They lie about prices, the book store prices are pure extortion, and the student services people are just plain rude. They are a service industry. we are paying them. they treat you like they might not let you come back next quarter. well if i'm paying 30+ thousand dollars to be here, you need to be a little bit more respectful. they lie and will tell you that the credits wont transfer anywhere. Financial aid will tell you something different every time you go in there. The admissions officers have no idea what they are talking about. I've heard that if your going for graphic design, this is a great school. but if your going for IT, don't bother. you can get a better education elsewhere cheaper. You have to pay very close attention to your payments because there will be magical charges not listed on your original tuition. The computers are all at least five years old. where does our money go if not back into our education?

Tiarra Spears

Don't go here waste of money and will not give you your transcript.

Rhonda Wallace-Spence

I absolutely Love my instructors!!

Della B

This is a for profit school. Sure the career degrees sound great, but all they care about is your money. They encouraged me to start classes while I was pregnant and are not flexible with repayment arrangements. 10/10 would not recommend to anyone for any reason.

Jennifer Waters

Good programs and teachers. Sad that not all classes run year around but I love the choices you can get a degree in.
