Extremely rude and unhelpful with their own mistakes. After trying to get help from the financial department, I got attitude and hung up on after explaining my situation.

Terrible experience. Passed all of my courses and transferred to another university but was ultimately charged for 2 more full time semesters in which I did not attend or sign up for. The school was unwilling to admit any error and refused to work with me. No phone call or email I sent was returned. HORRIBLE and INEXCUSABLE!!

Ellsworth 2016 - 2017. Attended for 3 semesters and earned my Associates Degree. Lived on campus at Thompson. Wi-Fi wasn't good enough to support the campus, the bathrooms are gross, and it takes 3 uses for the dryers to dry your clothes. School wise it was fine but living on campus wasn't.

Just graduated from the Ellsworth Community College equestrian program with my associates in both equine science and equine management. Great experience! All of my instructors were so helpful throughout my two years and pushed me to be the best I could be! I was honored to be a member of student senate and enjoyed getting involved on campus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Proud to be a panther!

I took physics and calculus in the classrooms, not online. The professors are adept and always encourage seeking help outside class time. That could’ve been because of the small class sizes, however, which aren’t a bad thing. I also frequently ate at the dining center. You get a lot of food for the price, but the quality and taste leave much to be desired.

I attended Ellsworth Community college for three semesters and I had nothing but HORRIBLE experiences and they got worse as the year and half went on. I attended the horse program after being a 3x top five in the world for several events at the AQHYA world show I went in with high expectations. They make you more of a barn hand then student. I learned NOTHING, it was pitiful! I then switched majors and took only on campus classes. Only do that if you're comfortable with guys constantly following you and cat calling you 24/7. Dont bother living on campus. They WAY OVER charge you to live there and the apartments and so called SUITES suck! Just dont do it!

This review is not based on an attendance experience, instead on how hard they are to contact! I've been emailing for months and I haven't gotten any responses. I'm in the process of trying to figure out what college I would like to attend after high school graduation, so some answers would be nice. I'm sure the school is wonderful, and I may just be impatient, but it seems like 4+ months is more than enough time to answer an email or two. However, I've seen multiple people ripping apart the equine management program (what I plan on enrolling for), and talk about rude staff; so is ECC even worth my time?

Best decision I have made for my education. I attended the equine program and there are so many great opportunities out here. The staff here is very supportive and want to make you successful! The Judging team was the highlight of my college experience! Highly recommend attending this program!

I attended Ellsworth Community College in 1993-1995. Again in 1999. After 1999 I had Open Heart Surgery two years later. As a personal goal and part of my bucket list, I wish to return to E.C.C. and Graduate with a Degree in Geographical Information Systems. I don't wish to be a quitter. I would give it 5 Stars but some Instructors are too liberal for my southern heritage. I still give it a 4 Star rating. Its still a small school and has much worthy merit. Please consider E.C.C. as a choice for your personal educational goals.
