My 8year old son has a phobia when it comes down to the dentist the site of the Dr. putting on gloves made him go bananas. We tried 3 different dentistries and every experience was absolutely horrible. UIC was very nice and understanding.. They really helped my son to understand what they were doing for him and why at the time of care ... I LOVE UIC!!!!

I called to make an appointment and the girl answered the phone not saying hello just " What is the patients name" and I'm just like hello? And that I am in desperate need for my wisdom teeth to be extracted and I told them that my dentist is faxing them my referral as we speak and they said they don't have any openings until August so they will call me when they get the referral to make the appointment but didn't even ask for my name or phone number..

The dentistry is spectacular with their service. The dentists and staff are very sweet and nice as they always place their care towards their patients. I have been attending UIC dental for the past 16 years and I had never had an issue or complaint about this place. I had some major implant work done here. The team of Doctors maintained professional care all through the process. The atmosphere is bright, modern, and comfortable. When you have an upcoming appointment an automated phone prompt contacts you to assure that you're aware of the date. You can also have a text message sent to you. I'll be returning to the school for ongoing dental care. They do excellent work. I give them a superlative.

Oh it's so terrible, and unprofessional institute I have ever been in U.S. Treatment is so lengthy and poor bedside manners .

The students and Faculty at UIC Dental school show a commitment to patient care and to expert dental treatment of the first order. I have been treated by about 4 different students over the past 2 years, all in their final pre-doctoral year. They have all been excellent and I have enjoyed their very friendly approach and caring skills. Presently, I am being treated by Arshad Muhammed who will next be interviewed for the Masters program. Arshad is outstanding technically and spends great time and effort over getting the job to the excellent result he expects of himself. He also takes time to explain the upcoming procedure and why he (with Faculty)has chosen the particular treatment option. He, and my earlier students have been trained by faculty member, Dr Ashfari, who puts the patient at ease and discusses the next steps with the student and the patient. All the students enjoy working with her and I have felt very comfortable knowing that her expertise and experience are being brought to bear on my dental health. In short ,I rate the clinic very highly and would recommend it without reservation.

Tried for over a week to get an appointment for my son. Called every number and dialed every extension listed and no answers, left voicemails, and multiple emails. When finally getting a call back there was no apology for the inconvenience of not being able to hear from anybody. The only thing the lady was worried about was my insurance carrier and to let me know that I was going to be charged. Also after letting her know that I needed the next available appointment she tells me the next appointment is for July 30th! Over a month away!! Horrible attitude and no concern for anything other than getting a payment from me. When trying to call back and try to get a same day appointment, once again no answers and no reply to any emails. The staff and students who work with the children when you do finally do get an appointment are great. However the phone staff and systems need to be replaced. Not good customer service at all especially when handling children's care.

Excellent care but very hard to get first appt. Keep trying Save tons of cash compared to ' regular ' dentists. Understand that calls will not be answered UNLESS they have appointment slots open.! Many want this service but slots are limited. Once you get in Its more than worth it. Calls are accepted only at certain times in the AM ...

it's impossible to contact them to set up an appointment! like what some of the others have said, I have left 2 voicemails and sent them in an email in the past week but they still have never got back to me! The person who comments back on those reviews just says "thanks for your feedback"...ok what is that supposed to do? are you going to fix your phone or what? CONTACT THEM BACK. CONTACT MEEE BACK.

Horrible...just horrible. I was recommended to get surgery under general anesthesia for my wisdom teeth. After telling them about my complications due to ehlers danlos syndrome and potsyndrome, they decided to continue and be rough. During my recovery I got dry sockets by day 2 and was sent to the emergency room. Following that there was a piece of gauze that was left in my socket by week four and was infected. Not only that but it left permanent damage during the incubation of general anesthesia. I Remember by week 3 my throat was still on fire. Now I have 21 tonsil stones every two weeks because these people decided to ignore that I had severe sensitivities and they forced the tube in and out of my throat. What a shame because now I have to get my tonsils removed which is another procedure that could be potentially dangerous for me. I tend to get infections with every surgery I get and healing time is always triple the time. I am on month 3 and my wisdom teeth still have not closed because of my illnesses. Now I have to go back and do another surgery in a month because these people decided to ignore my warning and all the medical evidence and instructions that I had told him to do. Shame on this Dentistry. They should be sued

My dentist and myself have sent numerous emails and attempted to make phone call after phone call to set up an appointment. I had a dental emergency where my wisdom tooth cracked open and became infected. The lack of urgency from this facility is insane! Now, 4 months later, the pain and inability to eat without feeling a stabbing sensation in my mouth is horrible. I am a full grown man and I cry from the pain. A few days back I finally got through and managed to make an appointment. However, as I sit here today I now see why the are in such turmoil. Poor organization and time management. Workers run around ignorantly looking for their patient. The front desk receptionist is more interested in her phone and is offended when a patient asks for help or clarification. In addition, she puts her office voicemail on speaker, so others in the waiting room are able hear sensitive patient information.... HIPPA PRIVACY VIOLATION!! In brief, I can only make one recommendation... CLOSE!!!! If UIC's College of Dentistry is a reflection of the rest of the University's professionalism.... I am glad I decided to attend Loyola University. This establishment is a joke!

Four stars because it was literally impossible for me to get a hold of someone to schedule my daughter to be seen. Finally I left a message and 3 weeks later a woman called back to set her appointment up. Anyways my daughter's dentist is amazing with children. He is just great, and I'm so happy we got scheduled with him. We also have been brought back right away, no wait time for us.

I really want to thank Johnnie Mae Davis and the excellent doctors at UIC College of Dentistry for your your excellent services and the surgery she needed so badly as she was suffering from the pain and damage from her impacted teeth. The procedure was very quick...45 mins. It's been hours since her surgery and she is doing great. She is doing everything as instructed and has not complained of any pain or problems. The bleeding stopped awhile ago and she has been eating very soft and light foods as instructed. Thank you so much, I am so grateful.

I had work done there when I was 16 years old. The beautiful solid gold crown just popped off yesterday. I'll be 68 years old in a few days. I have a dentist but for some reason I want to come back to where it all began. I read the Finch story and feel very sad for her. She seems to think she's got the English grammar thing together and used the word "know"incorrectly two times. We must learn to be more tolerant of each other. wouldn't this world be a better place?

Impossible to leave a message on the Endodontics clinic line. Tried for many days to get in touch with the dentist who was supposed to do my procedure and was unable to. They do not dispose of messages to clear their line so there is no room to leave a new voicemail. It was very important that I be able to contact the dentist who was doing my procedure. Finally, in desperation, I canceled it. Now I must start all over again, if and when I can ever get through. Meanwhile, I have a tooth with a hole in it that isn't being attended to. I have a feeling that I will end up having to go over there to get things clarified, which is inefficient and annoying. Now, two years later, the tooth crumbled and became abscessed. I'm having it pulled on Friday at NorthShore Hospital's dental clinic. The abscess has been extremely painful and costly, and now I will have a hole where I should have had a crown. Dentistry in Chicago sucks.

Once you get through all the red tape. It's a few hours of waiting if you walk in after 8:30 am. You have to watch 1st floor registration especially if they assume you're an out of towner. The lady said I didn't give her an insurance card but found it on the floor behind her desk after I asked for it back. Just something for you to observe because without insurance once you go to the next lady you will have to pay cash out of pocket. And in turn they can double back and put your insurance in the computer if they have your card and pocket the money you paid out of pocket. One thing I did like they named the different floors after classical musicians, Upstairs the procedure itself was pretty fast the doctors and nurses were very nice and understanding.

It is virtually impossible to set an appointment over the phone. So just go down there and do it in person otherwise dont bother. Be warned they are always booked. You may can get a walk in appointment you may not. You may get one for 4 months later. The actual service is pretty spot on the prices are fair enough in comparison to other places when you are self paying. Overall i would recommend this place.

I came into the urgent care today for a visit with my Wisdom tooth poking threw and got it pulled the same day! My dentist was nice to me and so were the post grad students who pulled my tooth out. All together I was there maybe 2 hours tops and all this was done thanks to these talented students. I was comfortable, and had less pain walking out. Thank you UIC ! Great place to have dental work done for low cost but high quality.

Karoline Biami is my current student dentist and I couldn't be any happier. My visits with her are always enjoyable and informative ...even though it's a dental visit. She has a great disposition and a professional bedside manner. She takes her time to explain things, making sure you understand and truly make your visit feel all about you and not just getting good grades.This young woman will be a a brilliant dentist ..no doubt! When you go there look for the student who always wears a huge smile no matter how this stressful environment/ education can be be these young folks and you will know who I am talking about. As far as the clinic, it provides a great education and work environment for it's students. For it's patients it provides professional dental care at affordable prices. My only issue at the clinic is the front desk staff where you check-in. No people or customer service skills They need to be more friendly and smile ...after all it is a dental school! Unfortunately, they are the first impression when you arrive and it generally is not pleasant which I believe can cause a patient some added stress that they may already have about dental visits. Once you get past them and have a student like Karoline to calm you down, ease your fears...the visit is a piece of cake.

This rating is only for their new patient customer service. I have called about eight times at varied hours in past few business days for urgent care and always get automated messages. Can’t leave a voice mail, no one calls back, and there’s no way to email the department I actually need to see. Definitely needs to be fixed for urgent care at least.

Don't go to the UIC dentist program for anything but braces that school isn't running smoothly at all they tell you 1 thing on the phone another when you get there and then they'll charge you like 300 before even cleaning your teeth and that doesn't include travel costs you can tell them that you don't have a lot of money but they won't try to help you out then when you do get your teeth clean they tell you not to close your mouth when you feel like your drowning to swallow the water that's in your mouth and they're hard on your teeth and on you and won't give you your records even though you've called repeatedly about it. Don't go don't do it I talked to a manager that said this is the way we do it here and that they were going to charge me more money when they agreed to a certain price in the beginning. Just don't go there.

In September and October I was experiencing discomfort on the right side in the back of my tongue. I thought my tongue was scratching a chipped tooth. I finally couldn't take it any longer and went to my dentist Dr. Lotsof at Methodist Hospital. When he took a look at my tongue he excused himself and went to his office where he made an appointment with Dr. Louis Halkias of Oral Surgery Associates. I went to see him and November 3rd he performed a Biopsy on my tongue. A week later I went back and he told me that the results of the Biopsy showed that I had tongue cancer. He also made an appointment with Dr. Markiewicz and told me that Dr. Markiewicz not only was his teacher but his specialty was tongue cancer. When I went to see him I brought my girlfriend who was a cancer survivor and she had a lot of questions which Dr.Markiewicz answered everyone which really helped me understand. The best news though was when the Doctor examined my tongue he told me that we caught the cancer in it's infancy and that it hadn't spread. He told me I had squamous cell carcinomas. He also told me there would be a partial tongue removal plus a sentinel node biopsy. On November 30th I had surgery And since then I've been cancer free. I continue to see Dr.Markiewicz once every 6 weeks and since yesterday (5-22-17) it's now every 3 months. Not only do I think that Dr. Markiewicz is awesome I also think he ROCKS!!! I've called nonstop for decades. They never answer phones, never return calls, never return emails, etc. They are the most dysfunctional dental oriented group in the entirely of the world. All of my teeth have fallen out waiting for just one person in the whole group just to respond to any stimuli. That's the problem with welfare-based services. If they get handouts, they never actually have to work.

I came to UIC over a year ago with the intention of getting an implant. As a new patient a new treatment plan was created by my student doctor Khadija who has since graduated 2019. She was great. I was abruptly handed off to another student dentist Gretchen in the endo department for a recommended root canal on a tooth that I had no problems with. She used an instrument to prop open my mouth for the procedure that was not the correct size. I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the entire procedure. She actually mentioned to the supervising dentist that she used this instrument because she was provided with a tool tray that had the wrong size several times. The procedure was long and painful. When she used anesthesia, it felt like she stabbed the roof of my mouth and I was literally brought to tears. She packed the tooth with a temporary filling that was clunky (the material was left uneven and on the surface of neighboring teeth. When I returned a few weeks later for the crown placement with yet another student dentist Dr. Lakhani, he commented that "there was a lot of material used on my tooth as a temporary filling." He discovered after removing the material that I did not have enough tooth surface to place a crown. Two supervising dentists came by to consult and agreed. A tooth that was not causing me problems was disrupted by your staff, broken down to the point of no return, I went through extremely painful experiences, wasted time and money and I am left with having to have my tooth extracted and taking on the expense time and discomfort of getting an implant. I still do not have the original procedure completed which brought me to the clinic. Pay the extra money it is not worth the savings to go through what I went through by visiting this clinic.

I went and got my wisdom teeth removed March 20th 2018. I was nervous but the procedure went pretty smoothly . My app was at 10:00 am they called me back there about 10:25 so not to much of a long wait . I would recommend going here however he down parts are it’s hard to get in Contact with someone to make an app over the phone . They are constantly busy so I suggest email them what your trying to come in for and send your referral papers . Or go inside to make an appointment.

I had a very positive experience. I had a dental bridge replaced by Dr. Zurich and he was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. His bedside manner is phenomenal, very genuine. I also required a root canal to be redone as well. Dr. Zurich did not proceed with the implant until he was absolutely sure I wasn't having any pain. The staff is friendly and professional. I was impressed and would definitely recommend the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

My student dentist Shaveta Behl did a great job restoring my teeth. She was very kind, and took time to answer my many questions. She was careful to make sure my bite fit perfectly, and I felt that I could trust her to do the dental work the right way. I called the U I C Dentist on 01/13/2016 to see if I could reschedule an appointment for my son, a Hispanic woman returned my call back on 01/14/2016 about 11:05 am, as we were talking I could barely understand her as we'll as I don't think should could really understand me due to her not learning proper English and I never took Spanish, but due to me being born and raised in the United States of America, why would I need to learn Spanish? This Hispanic woman had the audacity to hang up in my face because she's to lazy to do the job that she's being paid to do, when will this change, are they even trying to deal with the poor customer service at this dental clinic? U.I.C. Pediatric Dental School Customer Service is horrible, it makes know since at all, the sad part about all of this is that know one will do anything to change their snotty ways.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I was referred to UIC to address my baby's "baby bottle caries" because they accept my insurance. I was warned by the dental office that it's very hard to get an appointment because they don't answer the phone. She was not lying. I called over and over again, and emailed. No response. I found a pediatric dentistry that will see my son thankfully.

They charge a reasonable small fee and they explain all the procedures and steps you go through there Dental plan Medicaid Card just pay for Extractions, X - Ray and basic Cleaning of teeth the UIC Students are good and excellent for there work with the staff how assist them with patients. horrible experience i took my 6 year old here and the doctor was horrible she needed to remove her tooth and didnt even wait for her mouth to numb i swear the doctor didnt wait 30sec after the shot and stared pulling my daughters tooth my daughter started shaking and i ask her if she waited enough for the part to numb and she completely ignore me continue pulling and continue to have a non related conversation with the nurse my daughter was behaving after that experience we havent been able to control her fear to the dentist and that was not even her first visit it was her 5th visit to a dentist DO NOT RECOMMEND this was not our first bad experience at this location

I have been utilizing the services of the UIC College of Dentistry for many years, as I've never had dental insurance. They are reasonably priced; but, more importantly, the dental students are top notch. I am currently with my sixth student, and I've been very impressed with all of them. The only downside is that most steps of whatever treatment you are receiving need to be checked by a professor, and that extends the time you are in the chair. That can also be a positive, however, as you are assured that your treatment is monitored. I still give them a giant thumbs up!

My husband spent over $29,000.00 for upper implants and they failed right awayits been 6 yrs and they still trying to work on his teeth . This people are not responsible? At the end he got a removable plates which had been pretty bad. In the meantime he had suffering all these and unable to eat with the plates. Now they want more money. Really don't know how anyone is giving UIC College of Dentistry anything more than a 1 star rating ...if they had a lesser grade than 1, I would surely give it to them...As it relates to getting a appointment. I faxed my referral over to the clinic, as stated on their voice message...it has been 3 weeks, I haven't gotten a call back. So, I went to their website to see if any information is posted as to when to expect to be contacted after you've faxed over your referral. No information is given. Now, there are several numbers on their website to call and set up a new appointment, but, it only allows you to leave a message. Really? How effective is that? What kind of system do UIC College of Dentistry have here ???? Inquiring minds would love to know??? For sure it's not being ran smoothly. UIC College of Dentistry is totally not professional at all! I hope the government is not contributing our tax dollars to this non-effective facility, if so, that would truly suck!!

The most unprofessional customer service you will ever find in a dentist department...don't return phone calls, no empathy towards patients...supervisors allow employees to talk however they want and does not discipline anyone for wrong doing or treatment to customers...my advice, if you could go anywhere else go...because this place is very very poor when it comes to customer service.

My treatment is already 4 and a half months late because these guys are taking their sweet time. They have zero communication skills when it comes down to interacting with the patient and keeping them informed on their procedure. Last time I had any communication with the staff was about 2 months ago. I was supposed to be in post op and recovering already; however, the AMAZING doctors at UIC are treating my life like a game and my treatment has been prolonged by weeks and they still cannot give me a specific date for when my surgery is supposed to occur. I think about committing suicide on a daily basis, but I guess that would just make them happier since they wouldn't have to deal with me and my problematic surgery. Absolute medical care disgrace.

I went to urgent care yesterday for wisdom tooth pain. I was seen by student Meghan Robin. She was great! I was seen pretty fast considering all the people that were in the waiting room. Everyone was called pretty fast. After I had my scans done they noticed that I had a large cyst in my jaw that my regular dentist was never able to see on regular x-rays because it was in the back of my jaw. I was told that I had to make an appointment for a consultation to discuss treatment/removal of the cyst. They gave me an urgent appointment for 9/3 (appointments are usually 3 months away) and sent me down to get my wisdom tooth extracted, yes, the same day! While i was sitting on the chair, Dr Barthana came to see me and asked if he can just do my consultation now for the cyst so that he can get it over with since I was already there. He explained that I would have to make an appointment for a biopsy, that was the first step. The students then extracted my wisdom tooth. After the extraction Dr Barthana asked if he can just do my biopsy that day since he had time. I was surprised and happy that he was willing to do that for me all in the same day. He said I broke a record because that never happens. He took me down for the biopsy and put a drain tube to see if the cyst will shrink with time. I didn't feel anything because I was pretty numb through everything. I had a great experience yesterday and I'm thankful that they were able to do everything the same day. Student Meghan was texting me checking on me through out my procedures and even when I was at home. I look forward to seeing her next month. I recommend this clinic. They really helped me! Everyone was awesome and very friendly!

To begin I’ve been in the dental field more than 10 17 years. The staff was friendly the reason I only give 3 stars actually only 2 1/2 if I could is first the phone service is horrible. Second I scheduled my daughter because her wisdom teeth are impacted. Instead they did a screening about to see if she “qualifies” for them too pull them here. I scheduled her here because they do GA. I’m not sure what she has to qualify got. Second I also brought my husband because he needs extraction and a partial again only a screening was done. they both have tooth aches but have to wait at least 6 weeks just for a comprehensive exams and then maybe get an answer. I’m not sure we want to wait. Also the fact that they want both an fmx and pan is nonsense. No insurance what so ever covers both on the same day because it’s categorized as the same thing. But the dental school requires it before they can make a decision whether they even will take them as patients. I though we option of just seeing a regular dentist. I think the receptionist have to be trained way better on categorizing what kind of appointment to make.

My worst nightmare has been losing all my teeth and looking like Freddy Krueger … and over the past nine months this nightmare became my reality. I did have to have all of my teeth extracted and I did have to accept the fact that children would wonder why I was wearing my scary Halloween face mask for the several months required to fashion and fit my upper and lower “replacements” (I refuse to use the “D” word). However, Freddy Krueger was put to rest on the day before Halloween when I received my replacements from Betti Shahin, my student dentist at UIC College of Dentistry. They looked great, fit well with just a couple of minor adjustments, and have/will become the catalyst for a number of positive lifestyle changes. I began this process with extreme trepidation. This was quickly alleviated, though, by Betti, other student dentists who assisted her and faculty staff who contributed their expertise as needed. Most importantly, everyone listened and responded completely to my questions/concerns, always treated me respectfully and did everything possible to ensure that I left each appointment encouraged about the progress being made throughout my treatment plan. While my plan is not yet complete (lower replacement implants to be added for support), I am sure that the care and concern shown me by students and staff at the UIC College of Dentistry thus far will continue. Yes, I will definitely return for future dental issues. Yes, I will refer others. And yes, I am very, very grateful that, along with getting my smile back, I’ve had some light-hearted as well as laugh-out-loud moments. Doesn’t get much better than that!

Horrible front desk customer service. I only came here to get wisdoms teeth extractions but the way the front desk girls treat you makes you not want to return. They treat you with no respect and like you are an ignorant person while rolling their eyes at you. If I go to a place I want to get treated with respect and courtesy not like I'm annoying them asking questions or because they got upset last time I was there. We had to speak with their manager, Maria Limon, twice and she's very kind and respectful but it doesn't seem like she's brought it up to them because they always act so disrespectful. For years, I had heard good things about the College of Dentistry at UIC. Now, I can clearly see why I was hearing those good things. This program is awesome. The Dental teaching program is highly organized and represented well by students who appear eager and knowledgeable in their efforts to serve the public while continuing their education. The student I had was Mona Sawwan, and she was personable, patient, caring, and smart. She immediately made me feel that I was in the best of hands. I was also very impressed with the instructors who calmly went from student to student relaying their expertise and superior knowledge with smiles, never showing impatience or anger with the avidity of their students. This is a program that gives promise to all the future dentist under its wing. I applaud UIC's College of Dentistry.

Worst excuse for a medical facility I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I would give this place negative stars if I could. There is no possible way to communicate with anyone at this place and once you finally get someone's e-mail, not phone number, but their e-mail they take a month to respond to a simply question. The doctors could really care less about their patients and how they treat them not to mention their lack of communication with patients which is proof that they seriously either hate their job or don't want to help the people that are desperately searching for it. Looks like I will die before I get any treatment here...this place deserves to be burned to the ground.

I called the Faculty Dental Practice in the College of Dentistry because I was having issues. They were able to set me up with a quick appointment with Dr. Marinis. He did a phenomenal job of keeping me informed of what was causing the issues and walked through what my course of action should be. I've been to other dental practices and hated going to different locations to get certain types of services done. I love the fact that you can do everything in one building. The front desk staff are always a pleasure to talk to and you always get that welcome feeling and a sense that they care about their patients. I would definitely recommend for people to come in and see for themselves.

My experience with this place is appalling and my story is not a short one. Let me first say that the reviews are true. It is near to impossible to get in contact with ANYONE at this facility. I understand that they are super busy and have a lot of traffic but there has to be a better system in place. I have been dealing with a tooth issue for a while now. I had/have a major infection and this is not something that can be put on hold. 3 dentists have told me the tooth can easily be saved with a root canal but since I have a state health plan, there are not many endodontists in network. That is how I found UIC. They take my insurance. I called and called and called every day for days at all different times. I called every number listed on their website. My goal was to reach endodotics. I sent emails to endodotics since it states you can set an appointment via email on their website. No response. I eventually sent an email to a general contact listed on the website complaining about not reaching anyone. I got a call that day. They set an appointment for me 2 days out. My appointment was for 1:00 PM. I live 36 miles away from this place. It took me about an hour to get there. I didn't find out until I got there that my appointment was with urgent care. I waited over 2 hours before I was even seen. Keep in mind, they knew ahead of time what insurance i had and that I needed a root canal. Endodontics knew this too. By the time I was taken up to endodotics to make an appointment, it was over 3 1/2 hours from the time I got there. Before anything, they scheduled an appointment. Then, the woman sitting at the desk says to me so casually, that my insurance does not cover root canals on molars and I would have to pay $650. Um, wouldn't you state that little bit of info before scheduling someone? She acted like the entire world walks around with $650 in their pockets. When I told her that was going to be impossible, she seemed to care less that my entire day was now wasted. Nothing she could do. At this point I was close to having a breakdown. I told her I wanted to speak with someone. I didn't care if it was the person in charge of the entire building but I wasn't leaving without doing so. I was sent to another department where I spoke with the director of clinics, Robin Waner. Although she was very nice and seemed sympathetic, i just has this feeling that nothing was going to happen. She took my name and number. That was last Thursday. Never heard from anyone. They knew exactly what I needed before i even got there. In both my emails and over the phone, I told them about my insurance and what procedure I needed. This should have been told to me before I spent hours of my time and gas to drive there. I had already been through so much. This was handled in such an unprofessional manner that I can't see myself ever referring someone to their clinics. I understand that they help people in need but don't we help them as well by allowing their students (people that haven't even graduated yet) work on us? That seems like putting a lot of trust in someone.

I'm not sure if they're short staffed or have been closed since the week before Christmas but I've been calling since then to make an appointment for a root canal during their "supposed" business hours multiple times a day (i'm well aware they were closed the Friday before Christmas, Christmas Day, and Dec. 29th - Jan 2th.), calling different numbers on their website, they have a full voice-mail, and even sent them 4 emails and have heard nothing back but its good they can post pictures on Facebook. When we meet the nice's, patient, professional dentist Jamie Kaufer and her assistant Anabelle. I cant find the words to describe the experience and. One of boys is a handful and they where so patient with smiles all the time. Totally recommend them!!!

I am undergoing extensive oral reconstruction and believe me it is not fun! BUT So far from the receptionists to the professors I am Thrilled. Every one has been kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Now for Dr. Dianna Cuesta, She is very skilled, compassionate, thorough, meticulous, and mostly, in this career for the joy of helping people regain their confidence through a wonderful pain free smile. I could tell by her enthusiasm when she showed me my smile in a mirror after finishing 2 long grueling days placing my provisionals. I still have a ways to go but I honestly could not be happier with the care I am receiving and super excited for the outcome!

Made a appointment on May 8, 2019. Went there to get just 1 cavity filling. On that visit, student examined my teeth. Paid $176 for procedure D0147 provider U21670. Went downstairs for X-rays(students also doing X-rays ). Very SLOW in that department. 2nd visit on June 5, 2019, student wanted to do everything except for what I asked for. Please I didn’t do all this for your to pull the back of my teeth out. I appreciated your concerned and attentive but HELL NO. He refused to do my cavity filling until he examine all my teeth. I LEFT! I want my money back $176. He didn’t do NOTHING to my teeth. Terrible! I’m very disappointed. It didn’t say “NONREFUNDABLE” on this diagnostic initial fee. Who can I contact to get my money $176 back?

I faxed over my referral that my dentist gave me. When i emailed them to see if they got it, they told me they needed my dentist to fill out their updated form. Not a problem at all. So I emailed them on September 20th to see if they received it no response. It is currently October 4th. Terrible customer service. I will never recommend this place to anyone

It has been a long process 2 1/2 year. I have gone through 2 periodontists, 2 prosthodontists, 2 hygenists, and 3 supervisors. It is a long drive from Naperville, but I knew I could not afford the work in the suberbs. I had an issue with every single tooth except eye teeth. Somed teeth were pulled. Root canals were done over. I am on my 2nd set of temporary teeth which I didn't fully understand the need for. When the old temps were taken out and the new temps were put in, I totally understood. These temps were in the perfect and final position and they are amazing. The 2nd set of temps were in the exact position my final crowns will be in. The bite is perfect and the look is incredible. I am told the final teeth will be even better. I can finally see why so much had to be done and why it took so long. Why did I have 2 sets of temporary teeth? My original bite included top teeth that protruded and lower teeth that were pushing my top teeth out further. I had what is called in lay term a collapsed bite. The first set of temporary teeth changed my bite but not too the final stage, as a severely off bite has to be changed gradually giving time for the facial muscles to accept it. Hats off to Dr. Basaya, Dr. Kendall and Dr. Moranis for their excellent thinking, planning, and work. It is worth the time and money and so much less than I'd have had to pay in Naperville.

They are some good professional oral surgeons at the dentist and they remove all four of my wisdom teeth out at the same time. I was under sedation anesthesia and after that there were no complication or risks and the procedure was fast .It took 45 minutes to get them all removed.
