I loved my time at Chaminade ...this was when there was still an off-campus coed dormitory called Hale Pua on King Street and we would ride our bikes to school everyday.. lots of friends.. didn't have a car at the time so we would drive w kimo Ryan and his Jeep Ryan Foo my roommate also had a car ...there was Mike from New Jersey who had a motorcycle shipped out , and Jay from Alaska also had his BMW ...bodysurfing at Sandy Beach..& surfing north shore ...we had lots of fun back in the day this was in the 80s ...I'm an old man now but I know Chaminade is still a great place... lots of fun good learning ...study hard, play hard ,pray hard keep on surfing, Surf's Up, Hang Ten Aloha! God is Great: Father Son Spirit !...

The objectives of BYU Hawaii is great , but the people administrating and using church money are doing mediocre work . Today is a different world and they should be more efficient . I had tried reaching the Deans office with no response, there is no way parents overseas can contact online with administration other than a phone number..achaic . There is a foreign student in the womens dorm with pains for weeks , swelling in her veins and blood bursting , asking her overseas family for help and the BYUH staff housing, health etc. not doing their job honestly and caring. I attended BYUH noted the slack, moved and graduated from UH Honolulu.

Love this school. Beginning my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program this week. Firstly, I started by enrolling in MBA 600; Human Resources online. Within the first day or two of the course opening up, Dr. Wilson my instructor called to see if I needed help with anything. Mind blown. Whoever has the tenacity to do that with students?! Very excited to have my MBA complete in 21 months. Chaminade University offers a very scenic setting and personalized service. I find it preferable to have a classy private school education here that I can take with me for the rest of my professional life. Stoked :)

I actually stayed the full 4 years and graduated here. And I loved almost everything about living in Laie and my classroom experiences here. Small class sizes, strong professors, almost endless opportunities to be involved, and the most diverse student body in the nation, if not the world. This is a special place.

I loved my experience here. The teachers, for the most part, are truly invested in the students. The small class sizes allow you to get to know your professors and build strong lifelong friendships and a solid network. It is a great opportunity to be exposed to cultural diversity in an environment that is warm and welcoming. There is a pretty laid back culture here. Some programs lack a strong alumni network for student looking for work help after graduation. For those who make the effort to look for them there are plenty of opportunity to get involved in projects and activities. If you are a self started and looking for an adventure this is a great school. The beach is across the street and there is not shortage of hiking. There is a lack of transparency from the admin and sometimes you they are less than accommodating. Despite it's flaws I wouldn't trade my experience for anything.
