Started the program because at the time it was ranked #6 for best online accounting degree by US News and World Report. Graduated with 3.6 gpa, BS in Accounting. Now studying for my CPA. Some courses are difficult and others not as bad. I had some great instructors and some not so great. Overall I would recommend the program to anyone interested in pursuing a CPA and focused on a career in financial or tax accounting.

Great value for money for self motivators from an accredited college. One of the best MS courses. Whenever you choose online or part time or full time its only you who determine the value of education. Not the college. From same class one can become CEO and other will be ordinary programmer. Someone who is drop out can do miracles without a college degree. For me MS curriculum is pretty much satisfied what was taught and definitely help for future endevors. Only thing I would suggest is program is little bit flexible in timings. Rather than forcing assignments every week on time, little bit of flexiblity would be good. Working people sometimes wont get time for a week. Evaluation can be little bit on harder side. Education provides value only for people who believe in self. Dont expect a college will make you a CEO.

I was told when starting this program all my credits would transfer to my state university. After finishing 2 courses I went to my state school and they told me that this school does not have the same accreditation as them and will not transfer credits. My last class I submitted my work until midterms and never once received a grade back, I had to leave town and missed one week and was dropped, a bit hypocritical. The school has record of me calling and talking to multiple advisors over the phone but since I didn't do anything over e-mail they won't accept my appeal. This school is a legit as Trump University, save yourself time and money and do not attend here. I am currently paying back thousands to this school for classes that are useless.

I just finished my bachelors here and I could not be happier. The school went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and I am extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this University to anyone who is thinking about pursing their degree. My adviser always responded and helped me out, my instructors were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood the information. If you're thinking about pursing a degree online then this is the place for you. Fantastic school!

I was extremely pleased with CSU-Global prior to submitting a tuition appeal for some major medical issues I had been facing. It was denied because I was given Z-pak (antibiotics for bronchitis) a month prior and told that I should have known I had health concerns prior to enrolling (bronchitis vs a major cardiac issue, makes sense). As several have already said, this school is only concerned about money and the bottom line. Instructors were good and the class format is great. But, do yourself a favor and sink your money into a brick and mortar institution that will actually care about its students and will give you a diploma that doesn't say "GLOBAL CAMPUS" on it.

I am happy with the quality of materials. Very good online university.

Current Masters students - I have been going here for around 6 months, and I have loved it. There is a lot of reading, and a lot of work - you will take out what you put into it. Very reputable school with a very promising future. Professors, advisers, etc.. are all very helpful and respond very quickly. My only suggestion would be to somehow relate themselves with the Fort Collins campus; I would love to be a CSU Ram.

CSU Global has been a good experience for me. It has been challenging, and I have learned a lot. Most classes require a weekly paper, discussion board submission, and mastery exercise. At the end a portfolio project is due for 35% of the grade, usually an 8 page paper. Being disciplined and having time management will help, because getting behind is really easy. You will have to learn how to teach yourself, I have spent many hours searching google and CSU's library. I have gotten through a couple classes without a book, I wouldn't recommend it though. The teachers will help, and are professional. Some are better than others and some will grade harder, just like in normal schools. The acceptance rate seems high, although most of the students already have some college before attending. Altogether a I am glad I am attending here, and am close to being done!

I tried to enroll for Mar.7th start date, but the admissions rep Sarah Lipsett, pushed back my start date to April 4th without my permission. When I contacted her to tell her I wanted to start in March, she found another reason to push the start date back to April 4th. I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off getting transcripts and other documents notarized. Additionally, I spent about $40.00 getting transcripts sent in a hurry. I ended up discontinuing enrollment and going to another school. I'm sure the education is fine but the enrollment process and Sarah Lipsett are a nightmare.

CSU Global is awful. I started the process of trying to go back to school for a second bachelors degree and then eventually a masters degree back in Oct 2018. I was told all of my accounting credits would transfer to the masters pre admittance program but I had to complete that in 2 years. Since I work full time that was not possible. They switched me over to an undergrad program and now my accounting credits will not transfer. I asked my advisor about this when I signed up and they told me everything would transfer. Once I got into my portal I noticed it said that the accounting classes I already took were “future”. I reached out to her in November and never got a response. Now that my class is to start on Monday 1-14-2019 they still haven’t given me credit for accounting courses I have already taken. They are making me jump through hoops to get my syllabus for these courses so they can review if I will be given credit or not. The advisors are AWFUL and extremely unhelpful (this is my second advisor and she is just as bad and unresponsive as my first advisor was). Also, the way their school is structured doesn’t make sense. They will give me credit for my courses as a grad student, but they won’t transfer as undergrad courses?!?!? If they do not give me these credits I will enroll at ASU Online or SNHU Online as they will accept these credits at the undergrad level. Don’t waste your time or money with this school, the whole process has been a nightmare.

I'm currently the Masters of Teaching and Learning. Ariel has been phenomenal to me. Here's what you all want to know: 1. This school is just as accredited as Colorado State University--which their part of. Many schools are branching off to a global campus--Purdue University just did it, I saw the commercial. Except this place is way cheaper and just as legit. They have the EXACT regional accreditation that my undergraduate school has and they were a TOUGH school to get into and finish. When I finish my degree, I will be a licensed teacher. 2. It's not a for profit school and they won't be trying to sell anything to you. They will try to advise you based on what you tell them you want to do. Ariel literally walked me thru it and was 50x more personable than my undergraduate advisers were and they were all 100% in person. 3. It's not a cakewalk. The classes are just as challenging than my undergraduate classes I took in person. If you're looking for an easy school--this is not it! 4. Their classes have a tuition lock. $1500! Financial aid is literally a click away whenever i need them and they are legit in knowing what you need to do. 5. Tech support is 24/7. I'm not a paid spokesman. I am going out of my way to write this because I guarantee any of you reading this that you'll thank me for this when you enroll. This place is awesome!

Don't waste your time here. They are a "diploma mill" school. If you want an education that is actually worth your time and money, I would look elsewhere. You will not get hired anywhere respectable with a "CSU Global" degree. They are not affiliated with the actual CSU and their quality of education is very poor. Cheap education equals cheap tuition at this school. Not to mention the enrollment process was a nightmare. They will forget to call you back and will not answer your questions thoroughly. You finally get an academic advisor the second week of class, which means your enrollment councilor will not be very knowledgeable about your degree path.

I would give the professors five stars but the staff zero is possible. In my experience with this school and the staff (excluding advisors), these people are bigots against minorities (and I'm not just talking race). From the moment I applied to the school it was evident but I hoped this was not the case. There were always reasons that arose to keep me from starting school that even my advisor stated were out of the norm based on the other students she'd dealt with. I should have just gone to another school then but I thought that once I started school and got good grades I would be ok. However, that was not the case and I have had a recent discriminatory issue. My first thought was to transfer to another school but I am very close to graduating and transferring would prolong that. I would like to discuss my complaints with the dean of the school via email/phone but I can not find that contact information online. I am writing this review with the hopes that someone will reach out to me to discuss my concerns since when I called I was hung up on and sent a generic email. I don't want to embarrass this school but I do want them to correct what they are doing so future students like me don't have the same issues.

HI Everyone: Within two weeks I will graduating with a Master of Healthcare Administration degree (MHA). All my professors were top notch. I really have no complaints, but I have read most of the reviews and seem sad for the students and people that called this a scam or that the credits won't transfer to other universities. If I decide to go after a doctorate in healthcare administration, I know that I will be accepted to any college (i.e., online or campus). I have already checked with 15 universities and they see no discrepancies with CSU-Global Campuses' curriculum. Anyway, if I had to do it over again.....Oh Yes! I would do it all over again with CSU-Global. Thanks!!!

I got my BSc from CSU Global and it was a good experience. Now, I am in a graduate program, but the school has changed. It has not been a good experience. I have technical issues that they are unwilling or unable to resolve, they have some questionable policies regarding how they handle financial aid, and most importantly, the instructors are not of the quality that they should be as I enter the higher level classes. I would recommend that you look at a different institution.

Jessica Clampitt

Worst company ever, would never recommend!

Morgan H

Absolutely reccomend, the staff are fabulous. I mean the nicest people around.

Nanette Sauls

I need to clarify that I do not hate the program, but am disappointed in the drop policy. I have been a student here for 2 years and am 2 classes away from completing my Masters. Due to employment obligations that require I travel internationally for 4 weeks out of the next 6, I need to drop my current class. The inflexible policy creates a hardship on working adults who may have conflicts.

Rachel Pinch

CSU global is not for someone that is lazy! It is not a diploma mill school by no means. I recommend this school for anyone that likes writing papers and has the time to do the work. Assignments pile up if you do not stay on top of them.

Michaela Brasesco

Could not be happier that I chose CSU-Global to pursue my MHA. The classes were challenging but dealing with admin/tech etc. very easy. Professors bring real world experience of their own. Textbooks and material the same as at many more expensive and big name schools. My advisers have always gotten back to me within the day and were always helpful. I would say students on average are around age 35 and up, already professionals working in the field, and bring a lot to the discussion forums. Like anything else in life, you get what you give. This program has absolutely directed my career and life path. Highly recommend.

100% online. Currently a student at CSU-Global. I am expecting to successfully complete my degree in the next few weeks. I'm about to receive a B.S. in MIS with a specialization in Cyber Security. One of the best decisions in my life was attending this school. I could not stand attending the brick and mortar universities, listening to professors talk about nothing related to the course. It has an excellent structured curriculum in the form of modules. Every week you already know what to expect. The best part is having the flexibility to do homework when I am most comfortable. If you're serious about school and put in the time, you will be happy with CSU-Global. The bad reviews must be from students who have other obligations and didn't put in the time to successfully obtain a quality education. You'll take out what you put in to it. I highly recommend CSU-Global!

Joshua Cain

I have a piece of paper from this school that says I graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics. However, after receiving that degree I don't believe that they prepare students for the real world. I would highly suggest looking at other programs if you are interested in a MIS degree. Fortunately this is my third degree and I didn't have to pay for it, but I still wish it was from somewhere else.

Ellen Akers

The teachers and program are absolutely amazing for a working mom returning to get her masters. Advisers are absolutely HORRIBLE though. They do not listen to you, they do not care about you. You really have to do everything on your own. Don't expect the advisers to actually help you.

I am currently a student at CSU-Global. The professors at the school are great along with the courses. However, there are a few issues as well. 1. The administration staff and registration office is very unorganized. I wrote a petition to be enrolled into two classes at the same time and got approved for two classes in the first term. I tried to enroll into two classes again for my second term and it would not allow me to do so. 2. I work a full-time job, along with going to school for my Masters degree. I went into my student portal to study for some of my classes and it says that I have "no current courses" which is wrong, because I have already started my assignments for my second term. My time is VERY limited and it's frustrating that I can't access my current courses. 3. Don't even try and use the 24/7 student success live chat. I have been waiting for over ten minutes trying to resolve this issue and there is no agent on the other end. Again, CSU-Global's professors and courses are great. It is the administration and registration departments that I have an issue with. If your counselor is Christopher Goss, good luck. He is very unorganized when it comes to communicating with his students along with doing his job, to advise them. He is my current adviser and I honestly do not enjoy having him as my counselor. I sent out an email along with writing this review. I typically don't do this, but I feel that this is the only way to get their attention.

So far so good. CSU-GC ranks top among other schools with online programs. I transferred here with an Associates degree and they translated all of my credits. So far I've completed 12 credits at CSU Global and have learned the same amount as I did at a brick and motor school. The only downside is each class seems to have the same structure; each week write a 3-4 page paper and a 10 page paper at the very end. The 4 instructors I have had were knowledgeable and consistently engaged with the students. Personally, I am not involved with the financial department very often because I'm not paying for the tuition, but I have had zero problems.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2010. Signed up to do another Bachelor's degree in a different subject. The school never informed me that they were discontinuing my rate discount until the end of the session, a difference of several hundred dollars per class. I asked to either have my rate discount honored for this degree plan or to strike the class and the balance from my record- this request was denied. After completing their bureaucratic appeals process, it was also denied a month and a half later. They are now holding my transcripts hostage and it is impossible to contact anyone to do anything about it. Check their website- you'll notice none of the staff's names or office phone numbers are posted on it. If you want to do CSU, skip the Global Campus and go in class- this place has shady practices and won't do anything to help you.

Alicia Martineau

If you are an efficient and self starting student/individual you will succeed at CSU-Global. The professors are kind, wise, and put the time into giving you advice on how to strengthen yourself for your future career. AND this college is incredibly affordable. Can't beat that!

The Project

Bad Bad Bad!!! If this review discourages one person then I have done a great thing in life. So I started the whole process of CSU global and got to the financial part and stopped(THANK GOD). First off since I was prior military I had to go through a whole lot of (proving that I was worthy BS) to go to CSU global which meant I had to do essays and get reviewed through 2 admissions boards. My sarcastic and arrogant Enrollment counselor was always to busy. In fact she seemed very disorganized and disconnected. I called a few times for a in dept step by step process of the circus called CSU-Global and..........of course nobody knew what the hell was going on. I guess they were under the impression that you should already know how to do this. So God forbid if you ask for help. Jerome the guy that processes the financial part of my file was always to busy to talk to me when I called him about 4 times. In fact one time that I called he was busy typing away on his keyboard(I could hear it btw) and gave the delayed "uh-huh" answer to all my questions. Love the condescending email that they left me too. Better schools out there guys.

I obtained my Bachelors degree from CSU last fall and all, but two of the teachers I had were great. I work full time and I'm raising a family, so flexibility and quality in course material was my number one concern, in these areas CSU exceed my expectations! Most of my credits from my previous college transferred. My advisor was fantastic and responded to any questions or concerns I had in a time fashion. However, if you're not responsible, have unrealistic expectations for online school curriculum and have difficulty adhering to deadlines then this school is definitely not for you!

Kimberly Steffen

Current student of one year working towards Bachelor's Degree in Business Management while working full time. I travel extensively for work and consequently the option of attending a brick-and-mortar university was not feasible. Thankfully technology is ever improving the online education option for those seeking to achieve their degree but cannot attend a brick-and-mortar university. After doing research on online university options, I determined that CSU-Global Campus was the most ideal for my situation for a variety of factors. They had competitive tuition rates, but additionally their courses were clearly structured and did not require "group" projects/assignments. I did not want to have to be dependent on anyone but myself in regards to successfully completing my assignments, and there are other online universities where this is a standard structure for their courses. Another factor that played into my decision was the attentiveness of CSU-Global when I expressed interest. The enrollment adviser was extremely helpful and made the process of enrolling extremely easy. I transferred 70+ credits from another university and the process was seamless. Once enrolled CSU-GC assigns you a student adviser who is with you every step of the way, ready and willing to help with any questions. The online portal is great with little ramp-up necessary. I have enjoyed all my instructors and have found each of them to be very professional, helpful, insightful, and personable. All my professors possessed real-life experience in regards to the course topic, and were clearly knowledgeable on the subject matter. Every professor truly values education and promotes this through their continued efforts to be present for students. You will quickly realize that CSU-GC has a standard course structure of 8 weeks per term, with the week assignments broken out as Discussion question (due every Thursday), Critical Thinking assignment (often 2-3 or 3-4 page paper due nearly every Sunday, sometimes there may not be a CT assignment for the week), and Mastery quiz (due every Sunday). Week 8 for nearly every course has a Portfolio Project due at the end of the term which is often an 8-10 or 10-12 page paper regarding the overall course subject matter. All is very achievable but you will need to ensure you are dedicating time to fulfilling assignments. If you are engaged and complete the work by the applicable deadlines and apply yourself you will be successful at CSU-GC. Hope this helps those, like me, who wanted to complete their degree and were seeking a great online option that would work for your schedule. Good luck! Happy learning.

This place is a scam. I was not a student, but since i have attended many schools i am attune to someone trying to 'sell credit hours'. I cannot comment on the quality of education. I can tell you that there are many 'honest' & reputable schools out there and this is NOT one of them. Check out WGU at 3400.00 per semester all fees included and you can take as many Credits as you can handle for a flat per semester fee. This school will transfer credits but they're incentivized to sell as many of the 120 as they can. Their goal is to put you in debt.

Lorraine Nebo

A great school that keeps you learning, engaged and work hard pays off!

Daniel Reed

Go somewhere else! Some instructors are rude, there is too much homework for working adults, expect you to write in a style they haven't taught yet, and they place too much faith in the Turnitin system. Don't bother calling-nobody addresses concerns!

Raquel Romero

These people do not really care about you!!!! I have straight A's in all my classes here so my experience has nothing to do with my not trying hard enough. When I first enrolled my adviser gave me tons of wrong information, and an "oops" was about all I got by way of apology from anyone. My instructors (ALL but 2, 2 were pretty great) constantly gave me feedback meant for other students, or gave me replies that were obviously copied and pasted as they were not even close to relevant to what I was asking. One instructor ignored my request to know why I got an answer wrong for several weeks, when I finally got a hold of him he basically told me I was bothering him while he was on vacation!! Why be an instructor if you do not have time for your students??? In this particular case, I was sure I had gotten a problem right but he graded it as wrong and refused to answer me as to why. He kept telling me "I don't know why you're upset, no one ever gets this right". Finally after trying all those weeks to reach him he told me that I was wrong because I was supposed to calculate based off of total revenue. I told him the problem clearly stated to calculate based on total cc sales. His response? Oh well its written wrong. AND HE NEVER BOTHERED TO THINK THERE MIGHT BE A REASON WHY NO ONE EVER GOT IT RIGHT????? Now, I am going on maternity leave and will have zero income for several months and have a balance due, even though I constantly checked in with my advisers to make sure the loans I was accepting would cover the classes I was enrolled in. A full week before the fall term ended I got both an email saying fall loan amounts were waiting to be accepted as well as a notification that I had a balance due. I asked my adviser what I should do and immediately got an email saying she was leaving her position, and another adviser would be in touch. 3 DAYS LATER I get an email from someone saying I just need to fill out a loan acceptance form, so I did, but apparently now it is too late. They said so sorry but there is nothing they can do unless I want to take courses during my maternity leave, WHICH IS MEANT FOR BONDING WITH MY BABY NOT TAKING COURSES!!! I do not recommend CSU Global to anyone, their instructors really "phone it in" and the advisers are not very helpful. If you do decide to go here expect to be frustrated and make sure you ask the same question to multiple people as my first year here I got several conflicting answers and may never have realized I was not being given accurate info if I had not done that. Oh, and be aware that if you take a break for any reason you will begin to accrue interest on student loans and have to pay them back. That was the FIRST thing I asked my adviser DAY 1 when I first enrolled and he assured me that as long as I did not take off more than a year I would still be considered a student, remain in the program, and loans would not require payment or accrue interest. This is not true. I wish I had never enrolled here, I chose this school over Regis because the credit hours were cheaper but seeing as that adviser still checks in on me (she seriously calls me just to see how I am doing and I dont even go to her school - CSU Global has NEVER done that) I probably would have been given good information from the start.

Melissa Price

I’m almost done with BS in accounting and I have zero regrets about CSU global. It’s been a great experience. Does this school require work? You bet. You’ll be researching and writing papers almost every week. As an accounting student, I’m doing spreadsheet assignments weekly and some are challenging. But I’m learning a lot and the school offers resources that make the tuition worth it. If you don’t like doing work on a weekly basis, apply at WGU. I attended WGU before transferring to CSU and it’s much different. CSU makes it easy to gauge your knowledge and talk to instructors. WGU just relies on one exam - pass or fail.

I was able get a degree because of CSU-Global's flexibility and low cost. I would highly recommend this school!

Out of all of my college experiences this university is the best experience I have ever had! The staff are helpful from your entrance to your student advisor, to most of the professors, and my classmates all were friendly, open and engaged! The classes are all ages, no discrimination concerning age, color or gender! The ease in connecting with professors, accessing the information that you need and applying it in unique and progressive ways has influenced me to work at achieving and maintaining a 4.O GPA! This experience has been the best of my life! Many opportunities have opened up for me in terms of writing using the APA format, writing for the university, being invited to be apart of business organizations that will assist me in networking, scholarships for grad school and so much more! Lastly, CSU also provides extensive assistance and skill building post graduation in terms of helping you get prepared for a job in the real world. Through our student portal we can access help from the library, learn how to interview, write resumes and cover letters, how to find jobs and how to research prospective companies to ensure that you have a good moral and ethical fit! This university is just amazing in so many ways. I am going to miss it when I move on in a month, getting my Bachelors degree in Organizational management and leadership/nonprofit! I will always view this experience as my most valuable because it helped me to create a solid and applicable foundation that will lead to much future success! Thanks CSU!
