I love the school when compared to other places I could have gone. It's cheaper. The campus is relatively small and flat. I can walk across campus in anywhere from 10-30 minutes. Most of the professors I have had actually care about the students. Alas, I haven't been doing to well grade wise. At least I've made a go at it.

April 19, 2018 my family from Texas attended an Achieving Excellence Awards Program! It was an amazing program by the BFSO and Office of Academic Affairs. Dr. Lasker-Scott and Dr. Warnick as well as so many others were so professional, kind and organized. My son Dante received an Academic Achievement Award...we're so proud of him and grateful that he was recognized for his hard work at Arkansas Tech. Great University and staff!

I am 22 and I've lived in Russellville for 22 years. This college does not offer very many majors or minors, and the teachers are limited and aren't very professional most times. With disabilities, DO NOT even think about coming here. They put individuals with disabilities on a golf cart clearly labeled and make the person feel guilty. I'd know because I had to do that after surgery. My car has been keyed and scratched and the metal has been punched in in the parking lot. The campus security act sorta concerned and that's that. The parking is way too small for the classes and amount of people they attract. Parking is a SERIOUS issue there. Along with the classes all having "tech"nology from the 70's. Affordable, and all the locals go there. Choose your college wisely.

Overall, this is an excellent college. It has a few problems involving students with loans and financial failure but overall the student body is cared for dearly. The president posts on Twitter often, the school representative (Jerry the bulldog) is seen around campus all the time, there are a lot of student events throughout the semester, the football team has gotten much better recently, the band is phenomenal, and the teacher to student ratio is great. I have had one lecture class with more than 30 students. Many of my classes are less than 20 students. The school tries to maintain a large school setting with a small school atmosphere. I strongly recommend Arkansas Tech to any students interested. Also, it's great to drive through and the food varies from day to day. Sometimes its great, sometimes it's not so great.

Tech is a great school, but I am giving it a low rating because of it's unsontitutional speech code policy. They restrict freedom of expression to zones on campus. Someone needs to show these people the first ammendment.

I am regrettably very disappointed with this establishment. I too did not have this place on my radar. But after I toured the campus I thought why not! They had good facilities and offered me a great scholarship. I should’ve asked myself why they offered such a good scholarship. They obviously can’t get by on reputation alone. The entry level professors are great, as well as the advisors. But once you get into the end of your second year, the mask comes off. The newly appointed advisors are very rude and are obviously trying to rush you out the door. The reception staff that is supposed to be there to help you is also very rude. We pay so much money to go to this college but we do not even get the simple right to be talked to, and respected, like an adult. In addition, more often than not you get stuck with a professor you don’t want because they only offer one option for a class that is a requirement. Maybe it is like this at every college, but I certainly hope not. I do not recommend this college and wish I had dedicated my time, money, and studies elsewhere.

I need my transcript but I had a small 10 fee to pay from a course change that I wasn't aware of and they cant take payment over the phone and I would have to call set up a onetech even though I am not a student anymore... just a little old fashion and inconvenient when your just trying to pay them...
