Talladega College, a great place for your child to come and make friends, friends that he or she will definitely keep in their circle, If you invest in your future at Talladega you are guaranteed a network that is nationwide and full of professionals that can help you in the workplace. The students that finish here go on to become more than just worker bees they become decision makers, movers and shakers. They are in every city, from Los Angeles to New York, from Miami to Seattle. What makes the college so strong is the solid focus on academics and the slow town makes you become family with people you would have never met otherwise. I met some friends there and we still keep in touch to this very day every single week and this is from 25 years ago. We have a bond, we are strong, we get educated to educate, we remain strong as individuals so that we can help each other in times of need because if 10 of us can help 1 of us he will become equally as steadfast.

I've never been to the University but I wanted to comend the University, it's President and students for standing up against all the haters and negative emails they have recieved because of there acceptance to attend the 2016 Donald Trump Inauguration. Because of there strength and willingness to stand strong and not deviate from this opportunity even while the odds agsinst them attending because the lack of funds. They have been rewarded by the deplorable right and Bill O'Reilly with close to $500,000.00 in donations. Have fun In DC kids and remember this experience for the rest of ur lives.

The fact is it was the Republicans who walked the slaves out of slavery in to freedom, maybe you need to put a college that teaches you truth on your list. I was and am greatly disappointed that this HBCU allowed themselves to be bought and sold by the Trump administration as my family was considering Talladega as a possible institution of higher education for our son. It is no longer a consideration being that we fell that the college is incapable of making wise decisions for themselves so therefore they are incapable of making wise decisions for my child, how do I know that in my absence that my son while being a member of the band won't be sold like a slave to the highest bidder. I would rather struggle to pay for his education rather than set him up for failure and I suggest any other parents that are or were considering Talladega think long and hard about were you allow your children to be nurtured and not allow it to take place at Talladega until this college's administration has either been fired or quit.

I attended TC between 03-08 I'm wouldn't say It's the best all around but like any school it has It's ups and Downs. The academics are good in most departments, It's just the lack of activity that is somewhat challenging. The school now is on It's way up to getting a face lift and It's trying to increase activity wise as well. I now work here because this is What I wanted to do. I must say from the short time I was gone until now there has been a small growth in activity. I hope to see a lot more soon. In the science division I know it is challenging because there were high standards when I was attending and I have high standards as a teacher. And like back then with the high standards are achievable high expectations. I can't speak first other division. I will say as a former student and employe there is a need for upgrades to facilitate the student in a learning standpoint. I'm not sure if It's true now but most people who grip about TC all during their stay end up loving the school answer city to the point where they stay to work and live.

I am a 1973 alumni of Talladega College. I am glad to see this institution getting recognition and trying to overcome the thought of being a small black , inadequate college. The school is a great place to get a quality education that will take you a long way. I am a retired educator and the education I received at Talladega has cause me to acquire 3 masters degrees and a doctorate degree all with honors. Talladega gave me the background and inspiration to be the best I could be. Anyone who wants to degrade the school for participating in certain functions is looking at the school for the wrong reasons. Good job Talladega.

Enjoyed the inaugural parade performance! I was so excited to be able to watch "the little band that could" - I'm so proud that the students and the president of the college stood up to the "haters" and showed the determination to persevere even though it wasn't the "popular" thing to do. I think that anyone connected to this college should be proud. These students make me proud that they can withstand the negative onslaught from former alumni and put their country before "politics". Another thing that is really remarkable is that the band is only 4 or 5 years old and in my opinion, got the first genuine smile of enjoyment from Barron Trump. I couldn't imagine being that poor kid - with every eye in the world watching his every move.

I'm so proud of the President and band for taking a positive outlook in attending the inauguration this week. As a FNC viewer, I was so excited for them when Bill O announced last night. The students especially with all the controversy (we) are being accused of, are standing up and looking at a monumental experience. They are displaying a part of 'coming together' which is so much more than the majority of this country, the celeb's who are afraid of those 'who like them' and a fear-filled minority of those who just want to move on. Davon Julian said it all when he looks past what is happening and I hope his parents are proud of him, like all parents of the band should be.
