Very friendly and knowledgeable docent/guide. Lots of resources. My question is when will people be responsible for their pets? Signs say no pets on grass, yet lady let's her dog poop on the grass and then doesn't even pick it up! Come on people, carry a plastic bag, go to the specified pet area, and pick up your pet's poop! Same goes for people and their butts, cigarette butts, that is.

This is a good place for maps information and has a beautiful view of the Sheridan basin.....often you'll find tractor trailer rigs pulled over ,maybe takin in some sleep before getting back on the interstate to their destination further on down the road.

Ok place. Not extremely hard to get to. They have an area for pets that cars can get to, but no truck can go back there. There are signs all over that no pets can walk on there grass. Not pet friendly.

One of the best! A very nice place to stop and eat a meal and take a nap. Very clean and exceptionally well landscaped grounds with picnic tables within enclosures. Restrooms were clean and well appointed. The information available is also very good and covers a wide range of activities and locations.

Lots of space to move around, learn about the area, and take a breather from the road. Clean bathrooms are always nice on a road trip. The staff are interested in helping you if you have any questions. Great place!

Great travel stop! Lots of information available there, nice maintained bathrooms, indoor area with tables and play area for kids, it has a teepee fort. There is a playground also. Nice deck with seating overlooking Sheridan, picnic areas etc. Good parking setup as well.

Great place for longer breaks. Covered picknic areas with grills. Playground area outside as well as a small contained play area inside. Many brochures and guides to local attractions. Large, clean restrooms and plenty of parking.

Always clean, very friendly attendants during the day. Nice large area for walking pets, but it is separated a bit from the parking area. Also be cautious with hunting breeds as there are always prairie dogs just across the fence, and often deer, antelope, and rabbits on either side of the fence!

Wow! This place is beautiful! Organized and laid out really well! Also has a huge dog park for the public use. A must visit place to experience!

Overall it's a rest area -- so don't expect extravagance. But it's clean, it's staffed by folks eager to answer questions, and it's got a lot extra amenities like covered picnic tables, an RV dump station, and a pet area. That said, the pet area is FAR away from the main rest area and there are signs everywhere instructing you to keep dogs OFF the grass (which seems odd for a roadside rest area) -- so I wouldn't call it pet friendly.

The cleanest and nicest bathrooms Ive seen at a rest stop. Only stayed overnight here, so all the information part was locked up. Parking is kinda small, idling trucks emanate quite a lot of noise. Well maintained.

Nice building, good overnight parking for trucks and rvs. Good selection of material, but mostly focused on Yellowstone and the Tetons. Nothing on the local Bighorn Mountains. Disappointing. The young attendant was not very helpful and did not even get up from her desk and book she was reading. The one over by the S Dakota border was much more helpful.

The people here were very nice when our bus broke down coming from flathead lake to Denver during a scout outing. Although we were here for 6 hours, they allowed the troop to stay in after closing because of how nice they were. There's also areas to eat outside and a swing set.

We stopped in to get info Sunday July 15 and only the bathrooms were open. Not happy and neither were the 2 dozen others who tried. . It would have been easy enough to staff one person just to be there to hand out info to anyone stopping by. I understand it was the last day of your rodeo but not a valid excuse. We did however stop at the visitors center in Gillette and Angela was spectacular. Your center should take pointers from her! We will not be stopping by Sheridan again anytime soon.
